I bought this sleeve to fit my new HP DV7 laptop in a Solo rollercase. There's not a lot of room sideways in the case and somehow most larger sleeves are 18" wide. Not this one though! The 16.5" width fits a widescreen (16:9) laptop with the popular 17" screen diagonal *LIKE A GLOVE*. Sideways that is. For I have nearly two inches to spare on the length (the short side of the screen, that is).

This puzzles me as every large screen laptop known to mankind has a 16:9 screen. This sleeve seems made for a 4:3 screen. Seriously Solo? You really think those are made at that size?

Anyway it's not a big deal--I can fold the slack over, but it's a bit annoying. Apart from that, excellent neoprene sleeve.

I find this computer sleeve very functional. It has good padding. I bought the 17.3 inch size which is a little bit larger than my computer so it fits my wireless mouse and charger.

Solo brand has a smaller size 16 inch if you like tighter/snug fit. The smaller size is too tight for me.

I suggest getting the Case Logic Bag VNCI-217 17.3 size for extra protection, pockets and carry traps which Amazon also sells.
