My Herschel Rip Stop backpack shredded in a few months of use. When I sent it back, the company admitted that they discontinued the Rip Stop line because it was 'defective.' Do NOT buy this product and be wary of Herschel products in general. Return policy was not great, charging $15 to ship a wallet and computer sleeve to NYC (the only things of reasonable cost on their site).
My son told me the other day that he loves the backpack and that it is holding up well for him.
