The best feature about this backpack, compaired to others, is the extra support on the straps. It reduces stress on the back when it's loaded down. This backpack is also loaded with pockets, zippers, and compartments to organize everything. The fabric is heavy, durable, and water resistant. The zippers are sturdy and strong. The stitching also looks very durable. When I compared this to the many, many, other backpacks I've bought my kids over the years, the superior quality was obvious.

I recently purchased this backpack for my daughter for school and so far it has lived up to expectations. It is also sturdy and well made so if you want to take it on a more vigorous trip, it will hold up. I don't have any complaints about it, but if you are looking in to buying this product, there is one thing you should be warned of. The straps are a bit wider than normal because it is built with the suspension straps and made for comfort while hiking or other vigorous activities. So if you don't like that feeling of your whole back being covered, you may not like this. But I am also a petite person, so it may not matter that much for you. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this purchase and it has more features than I actually need, which I like."

Looks nice and convenient pockets and straps, but the one I purchased starting splitting at the top seam after just a couple of weeks. I use it to carry my 17" laptop, but apparently the pack is not designed for such weight. Spend a little more and get a better quality backpack.
