CMC Golf Skull Mini Day Pack

CMC Golf Skull Mini Day PackThis is a great little bag especially for golf since space is limited. I received the bag right on time and it was everything I expected. I would recommend it.

With 2 zippered compartments and one outside mesh pocket, this is a cool little bag to carry your wallet, smartphone of any size, point and shoot camera, snack bars, and a small sports drink can... or whatever else your particular lifestyle dictates mine is sports and travel.

I really enjoyed wearing it around my waist the entire afternoon until my nice running tshirt got caught in the almost imperceptibly sharp edged, protruding rivets on the clasps at the ends of the waist strap.

Idiots. This one flaw ruined an otherwise cool product.

Tommy Bahama Luggage Paradise Island Four Piece Set

Tommy Bahama Luggage Paradise Island Four Piece Set, Olive, One SizeReceived luggage prior to a trip the UK. Thrilled with the materials and look of the bags but upon arrival in London two of the four bags developed problems with the retractible handles. They would not retract into bags. Very disappointed and would not purchase from this manufactor again.

Looked for a rolling duffle for some time and came across the Tommy Bahama piece. Ordered it and it's been perfect. Most of my trips are short (3-4 days) and the duffle provides ample room. Quality is first rate, looks great, and has me considering adding to pieces to round out my luggage needs. Now, what size do I need next????

Inland Pro 15.6-Inch Notebook Bag, Black (02438)

Inland Pro 15.6-Inch Notebook Bag, BlackThe case has plenty of room for a 15.6" laptop. It's compact like neoprene laptop sleeves, but additionally has a nice handle. (It also doesn't smell like neoprene, which is fortunate.) It has a small zippered pocket to fit the power cord.

I purchased this bag for a spare laptop that I use for vacation travel. It works for everything that I need. It seems to be well padded and I have not had any problems.

Buy Inland Pro 15.6-Inch Notebook Bag, Black (02438) Now

This case has two strong points:

+ It's unassuming and perhaps less likely to invite theft. I could see using it instead of a "sleeve" when pulling my laptop out of my backpack through airport security.

+ It doesn't have any frills, which help keep down bulk and weight (I don't need a charger pocket for my short cafe trips). Even the handle is unpadded, thin nylon webbing.

It only has one serious negative:

DANG could you possibly make it any "cheaper" looking? Or cheaper feeling, with the flimsy (but adequately strong and secure) handles?

Although if I had a choice between an overbuilt Targus etc. bag and this one, I guess I'd still stick with this one. My present use is just a way to carry a larger laptop (15.6") to a cafe when I don't want to move all my stuff out of my smaller, every day carry, bike messenger bag to a daypack with a 15.6" laptop slot. I sure don't want to be carrying my laptop under my arm, looking for a way to slip out and destroy itself, so for quick and dirty trips to the cafe, this Inland Pro is perfect. Even a shoulder strap would be too much, handles are enough for this purpose.

If you want to know where my source of dissatisfaction comes from, go to an Apple Store and check out the Incase "Sling" line of very minimalist cases for the Macbook Pro series. Those fit SNUG and look SHARP. The handles are padded, but efficiently slim, and hide away in clever little slots if you want to use this as a "case" and not mini-attache (they even include shoulder straps).

So why didn't I spend the extra 35 bucks or so to get one of the Incase CL57715 Nylon Sling Sleeve for MacBook Pro 13", Black for my laptop?

Well Incase doesn't make a line for 15.6" Windows laptops, perhaps because in the Windows world even laptops with the same screen size can vary quite a bit in thickness, depth, and width (that probably explains the "loose" fit on this Inland Pro on my 15.6" Windows laptop). A 15" InCase Sling definitely won't fit my 15.6" laptop, nor will any of the neoprene sleeves, Chrome messenger bag sleeves, or other nifty 15" Macbook sleeves that I have tried to date.

So at least this Inland Pro I bought fits more like a sleeve and less that a slightly oversize, floppy bag, right?

NOPE, it has about 1.5 inches of left to right slack and almost 2" of top and bottom slack with my current design (AMD Fusion E300 powered) Compaq 15.6" laptop. The Compaq is slightly thinner than a 3 year old 15.6" laptop I also have (but MUCH lighter) but still that much slack on each side is disappointing, and means the laptop won't fit in a 15.6" daypack/travel pack laptop slot IF the Inland Pro case is on it. Which forces me to use a daypack/travel pack with a 17.3" slot, or to dump the laptop in the Inland Pro into the main compartment, where it won't ride "suspended" by the neat suspension laptop slot that newer packs come with (much better against "setdown" shocks).

In short, this is one of those products where you will have to make one of three choices: wait to see it in person to see if it fits snugly enough for you to use as a case (or loosely enough to stuff in a charger); order with a 50-50 risk of returning it for being "not as expected," or just order it, keep it, and find SOME use for it (if only to keep dust off your laptop). YMMV, since your laptop size (in the Windows world) probably DOES vary.

BTW, Inland Pro materials quality, from a functional but not appearance standpoint, is first-rate; and finish (quality of sewing etc.) is also first rate. This just won't win any design awards or dazzle with it's clever minimalism. This is _cheap_ minimalism!

This is a really basic laptop bag, but if you are looking for a good value, this is it. It does have some padding and fits my 15.6 inch screen nicely. Best deal I could find for a laptop bag out there.

I ordered the item yesterday 7/23/2012, and it already arrived this morning. Now for $9.00 I was not having any high standards, but this product is exactly what I needed, nothing too bulky or material heavy, the design is perfect, and seems very durable. Would purchase another one and reccomend this item.

Antler Liquis 33" Hardside Spinner

Antler Liquis 33' Large Lightweight Hardside 4 Wheel Upright NavyI live in East Africa and travel all over Africa, Europe, India and the USA. My luggage is beaten up all of the time. This suitcase is amazing. It's the lightest luggage I've ever owned and it just MOVES so easily. The capacity is scary big amazing. You'll meet your maximum weight long before you run out of room. This compares 100% to the Samsonite line that is twice the price (and I can't figure out why). I bought two of these and even the guys at the airport were impressed. I'll never go back to soft-sided, heavy, cumbersome luggage again. I am a convert!!!!

Lightweight, spacious, durable! It's been half-way around the world with no problems! We have 2 each of all three sizes.

Augusta Sportswear Medium Ripstop Duffel Bag, Gold Black, One Size. 1702This was a gift that my daughter and son-in-law use for their trips to the gym. They really like it and it does the job.

I bought 4 of these bags just before a family trip. While the 3 others were OK, the graphite one ripped-apart on the top stitching when closing the full bag the with moderate force. The material is a little light, the bag size and handles are good, stitching seems somewhat weak. Need to see how the other 3 stand over time, could be a defective one.

Liberty Bags Shoulder Strap Barrel Duffel Bag. 8805

Liberty Bags Shoulder Strap Barrel Duffel, Black, One Size. 8805the perfect size bag i was looking for. not too big or too small. i often go on 3-4 day trips out of town and i like to pack really light with just about everything i need in the bag, mainly change of clothes and cosmetics. i don't like to pack heavily or over pack like many girls do. a back pack, purse, and this duffel bag is all that i need for a few days of traveling. this bag measures 18"x10"x10".

Decided on buying this bag, because my other gym bag was just TOO big. This bag is perfect to carry a set of clothes and a water bottle to the gym; I was sweetly surprised to find that it's well made and sturdy, because of the price I wasn't sure. I bought the pink bag, and it looks just like the picture.

I received the bag a couple of days ago and am mostly pleased with it--it's nice and sturdy, seems to be well made and doesn't look cheap (though at its price, it's a bargain!) It's larger than I imagined which can be a good thing for extra storage. A slight complaint I have is with the color of the bag: I ordered it in red, which looks different from the picture. All in all, a handy bag to have, just prepare to be surprised by color!

The light blue pictured is really a bright blue, I guess I should have read the description that it was called turquoise.

Holds a lot, but is still small. enough room for my sneakers a change of clothes, towel and water bottle.

It is cylinder in shape so the sides are circular with a diameter of 10 inches ( roughly the size of a basketball)

The length is 18 inches.

There is also this small little pocket on the side great for your wallet.

The long strap is removable and adjustable.

Great for the price, but one must be accomodating for the color.

I needed a gym bag in any color other than black! (laughing) This bag is definitely one for the budget. It is rather thinly constructed, but it suits me perfectly. I only wanted something to hold clothes ripe with sweat & dirt from working out.

Sanrio Hello Kitty Rolling Backpack Kitty Wheeled 16" School Backpack Black

Sanrio Hello Kitty Rolling Backpack Kitty Wheeled 16' School Backpack BlackMy 6th grader needed a backpack with wheels because her books get so heavy, but it also had to fit in her locker. We just purchased an extender for it. She can either wheel it or wear it on her back. We did have a slight mishap with the wheels/handle breaking so the gizmo that slides the handle up and down can actually fall on its own, but this isn't the fault of the bag, and it's still usable, it isn't completely broken. All in all, good little bag!

Very disappointed. Poor quality. The material is thin, and size is a little bit small. The worst is it could not stand up even putting a few books inside. Not recommend.

eBags Mother Lode TLS Mini 21" Wheeled Duffel

eBags Mother Lode TLS Mini 21' Wheeled DuffelThe Mother Lode TLS Mini 21" is a well-designed bag. I love the adjustable divider in the main compartment. The ability to access the front compartment from the outside is really helpful; I put my carry-on "liquids" in the front and it is easily accessible during the security check. There are two mesh, zip pockets in the main compartment where I put my smaller items (socks, underwear, misc) and it is easy to see and access. The over-all quality of the bag is good; easy to wheel about. The handle locations allow me (5'2") to easily stow in overhead compartment. I had no problem with tipping although I did not over-stuff the bag. I would definitely consider buying the matching larger bag because the organization/pockets were so well-thought out.

I cannot believe how much I can stuff in this bag! The compression straps are great, as is the construction. Best piece of luggage ever purchased!

Buy eBags Mother Lode TLS Mini 21" Wheeled Duffel Now

We just got this duffel bag and it is everything other reviewers say versatile, rugged, cleverly designed but it isn't the next best thing after sliced bread. My first feeling upon picking up the bag was that it was heavy. Because of the hard bottom, the weight distribution isn't even and this may be a problem for people with lesser physical strength. Also for sheer space, it isn't superior as claimed that other 21" bags. If you are a math person, you will recognize that adding compartments to a fixed volume does not add more space but may actually take away space! That said, the idea of the separation is to give one the option of organizing one's items better and allowing easier access during airport check-in. This bag is built for a frequent air traveler and its utility in that respect is undeniable.

One thing I will note here is how the price for this bag changes almost on a daily basis. During T'giving this bag was sold at $98 (yes that is true) and I also saw it advertised for about 50% of the time at $119. But I have also seen it being sold at $150+ at many other times. So if you are not in a hurry, I suggest you wait till after Christmas, it may save you about 50-60 bucks. Funny that the prices for this bag move up and down in real-time like airline tickets!

This isn't my dream bag (which may not exist!), but it is a great bag nevertheless.

This fit all my warm weather clothes for a 10 day overseas trip. I fit skirts, 1 pair of jeans, tops, sandals, etc. I packed light and hand washed a few items with bar soap. A pair of boots and my bulky cosmetic case i put in a separate bag. I like the compartment flap to keep laundry separated from clean clothes. I dragged this bag over Rome's cobblestone streets and it held up well so far. Fits easily in airplane overhead compartment. I heard the green color bag shows dirt easily, so I opted for the blue which is nice subdued color yet stands out from the sea of black luggage on baggage claim. Well designed and So far so good!

I am very impressed with this bag. As a business traveler I take this with me every week for 5 days at a time and am able to fit everything I need without any issue. It is replacing an old Samsonite roll-aboard that lasted me 5 years of hard travel. This ebag amazes me every week with the amount of stuff I can fit into it without ever using the extra expansion. It's light weight, rolls very smooth and has multiple handles to lift into bins. It fits very easily into every overhead bin I have encountered. I also like that it is different than every other black bag out there.

Pacsafe Luggage Metrosafe 200 Gii Shoulder Bag

Pacsafe Luggage Metro Safe 200 GII Shoulder Bag, Tweed, One SizeThis bag is awesome! I bought it specifically for a trip to Europe. The bag was big enough to carry a map, brochures, a point & shoot digital camera, change purse, cell phone, and small bag of essentials (chapstick, hand cream, Advil, band-aids) with room to spare, while still being small enough to carry around all day (12+ hrs) without being uncomfortable. The two side pouches were very useful for carrying two bottles of water (note: they will really only hold the 0.5 L (16.9 oz water bottles). It would be quite a stretch to fit a 20 oz bottle in the pouch). The pouches have elastic at the top so the bottles stay securely put, and I like that the pouches snap closed when not in use. I used the bag for one week of walking around/hiking and the other on the back of a motorcycle touring the Alps. It worked great even on the motorcycle. The adjustable strap could be lengthened so it could be used as a cross-body bag and it was small enough to fit comfortably hanging by my hip or resting on my leg pressed up against my body. One thing to note. The bag is not waterproof. I don't think it ever claimed to be, but I thought I should mention it. It will protect electronics from a sprinkle or brief shower, but we hit a few places where we had steady rain for a couple hours and the bag got wet all the way through. A few ziplock bags for valuables is sufficient to prevent damage and the purse dried in one night after removing the contents and allowing it to lay open overnight.

I saw this travel shoulder bag in the mall for $80. Knew I could find a better deal and I did! I do a lot of traveling to countries where backpacks aren't the safest things to carry valuables in. This bag is not too big or too small, and it has 2 outside elasticized pickets for both an umbrella and water bottle. The pocket to prevent electronic scanning of passports/credit cards is a plus!

I recently used this bag for an eight day trip to D.C. It was perfect, size, weight, everything! I could adjust the comfortable strap to be worn cross body or shorten up to use as a regular handbag. It has a clip on one end to attach and lock to the back of my chair in a cafe or restaurant. I had enough room to carry my credit cards/ID, digital camera, small brush, small bottle of ibuprofen, lip balm, small bottle of contact solution, several pens, my Ipad, cell phone and a full sized bottle of water in one of the outer side pockets. (Plus an emergency granola bar) It was never too heavy or bulky when walking or sightseeing. The strap was long enough to fit around my rather plump self and still lay flat against my hip, front or side and was easy to funtion hands free. I also appreciated all the security features. I knew my credit/debit cards were safe and the cables in the strap would prevent any cutting attempts. You might think you don't need to take these extra precautions, as I did. However, one evening, on this same trip to D.C., on the Metro returning from a Nationals baseball game, someone's purse strap was cut and stolen in the crowd of thousands of travelers and it was not a pretty sight! I truly liked this bag and wholeheartedly recommend it for travel and everyday use. It's very well designed.

Want Pacsafe Luggage Metrosafe 200 Gii Shoulder Bag Discount?

After reading many horror stories about pickpocketing in Europe (we were going to Italy this summer), I decided to take extra precautions. I looked at a number of security bags but decided on PacSafe MetroSafe because I liked the size, shape, and security features. I liked black because it felt less noticeable and promoted a non-gender specific look. My husband, who will not touch my purse with a ten foot pole, carried this thing like a messenger bag all over Italy. He was a bit apprehensive until I told him it basically looks like a large camera bag (it's true) and that was it! We were able to carry a small umbrella and water bottle in each of the two exterior side pockets. I had our thick travel book, phrase book, a shawl, small money purse, passports, lip balm, hand sanitizer, city maps, sunglasses, keys, fruit and small snacks. We weren't carrying a back pack and never had a need for more space (I had a tiny compact ChicoBag just in case). They do make a larger Metrosafe but this was good enough for us. As far as the security, top notch! I saw a man/woman team look at each other and the woman nodded "no" to the man. Not sure if it was the bag or my vigilance, either way, they weren't going to get into Fort Knox. If you're careful in how you wear the bag, use the security features (I didn't think they were obnoxious isn't piece of mind the point?) and don't put it down for someone to grab and run off with (trains are notorious), you won't be sorry! We plan to use this again and again.

Final note, which I think someone else may have mentioned in another review, beware of the strap that goes across your body. I was wearing a backpack so while I'm not sure if it was the bag or the backpack, it may cause certain shirt materials to peel. To be on the safe side, I will most likely line the back of the strap with fabric at some point to rule it out. I still give it a 5-star though!

Fjallraven Kanken Backpack

Fjallraven Kanken BackpackI have been using these bags since I first bought one in Stockholm almost ten years ago. The design is great--they are very lightweight, comfortable with reasonable loads, and obviously classic looking. Unfortunately they are overpriced for what they are. I bought a new bag about a month ago and I'm not impressed with the durability. It seems like the prices have gone up a lot without any increase in manufacturing quality. For a small daypack that costs $75, you'd expect it to be something better made than a Wal-Mart item. But the fabric on the inside started fraying immediately and now a small hole has appeared on the bottom of the pack. I love these bags for their style and function, but I really feel a bit stupid for paying so much for a bag that look so beat up after only a month of use. I've never gotten a hole in any of my other backpacks, even ones I've use for multiday trips in the backcountry.

Unfortunately these packs are now a fashion item, so Fjallraven can double the prices, send the manufacturing to the cheapest factories, and people will still buy them. Note that this $75 schoolchildren's backpack is made in Vietnam, not Sweden.

I used to use messenger and tote bags before buying my Kanken, and it is probably the most resilient, well-designed, and downright greatest bag for carrying around my university campus.

It's original and practical. Most backpacks have rounded tops, which I never found useful for anything, but the rectangular design on this is just right for books. Inside, there is a tall pocket in the back which is useful for little essentials like eyedrops, altoids, and toiletries you'd rather not have out in the open every time you open the bag. Retrieving items from inside is made exceptionally easy, partly due to the rectangular shape and the easy with which the front can be folded down. There's room for about three 1.5'' binders or two 1.5'' binders and one 14'' laptop. Outside, the front pocket offers enough room for a phone, wallet, and keys. The two pockets on the sides I often use for a small umbrella and a disposable water bottle. My favorite part is that the zippers are quality YKK zips and don't have or need the dangling tassels many backpacks have, which often fray or fall off anyway.

The only real con is that the straps are not padded and easily chafe bare skin (but in terms of design, the thinness is nice and is less bulky than, say, Jansport Straps)...if you're in Europe, there are a lot of stores that sell padded straps as an accessory, though they're harder to find in the US. Also, if you're looking to carry more than one huge, heavy textbook, I don't recommend this since it's not especially large. It's not waterproof, only slightly water-resistant, and I would recommend buying wax to coat it on days with heavy rain; it can easily get soaked BUT it dries up relatively quickly, doesn't warp, and isn't prone to stains--from either wet or dry elements. I have never had to clean it and it's only slightly dirty on the bottom (my own fault) and have not yet needed to sew anything up for any reason.

In terms of durability, the quality is really impeccable. I've owned mine for more than a year now, taken it to university, through crowded NYC public transportation, and on numerous vacations and the zippers and most of the seams are very much the same as when I bought it.

All in all, I love this backpack and I've spent a lot of time looking at new backpacks for school only to end up wanting to get another Kanken in a different color.

This is a very well built backpack, one feature I really like is the side pockets on each side of the backpack that are quite long, and you can store all kinds of stuff in there for easy reach. Well built and looks great.

I had one of these packs years ago, before it was a fashion pad. I have to say the boxy design is a turn off. They look cute on kids, but for adults it is not flattering. The straps are not too comfortable, so I would not put more than one to two books. The main compartment and the accessory pocket are both not huge, don't expect to put a MEAD notebook in them. The removable cushion on the back is a plus if you are using it for outdoor purpose. The side pocket is very narrow and would not fit most water bottle (maybe a smallish plastic evian). The material is not too durable, mine worn down quickly within a year; and $75 for a pack is (cheap by Swedish standard) but expensive by frugal US standard. I would not recommend this product for students going to school, maybe to lug around town for casual errands.

High Sierra Sheridan Backpack

High Sierra Sheridan BackpackThe best feature about this backpack, compaired to others, is the extra support on the straps. It reduces stress on the back when it's loaded down. This backpack is also loaded with pockets, zippers, and compartments to organize everything. The fabric is heavy, durable, and water resistant. The zippers are sturdy and strong. The stitching also looks very durable. When I compared this to the many, many, other backpacks I've bought my kids over the years, the superior quality was obvious.

I recently purchased this backpack for my daughter for school and so far it has lived up to expectations. Here is what my daughter has to say about it: "The pattern looks like it does in the picture and is really useful for school. It is also sturdy and well made so if you want to take it on a more vigorous trip, it will hold up. I don't have any complaints about it, but if you are looking in to buying this product, there is one thing you should be warned of. The straps are a bit wider than normal because it is built with the suspension straps and made for comfort while hiking or other vigorous activities. So if you don't like that feeling of your whole back being covered, you may not like this. But I am also a petite person, so it may not matter that much for you. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this purchase and it has more features than I actually need, which I like."

Bower SCB2450 Elite Pro Bag Series DSLR Zoom Sling Bag (Black)

Bower SCB2450 Elite Pro Bag Series DSLR Zoom Sling BagI like it. The strap is adjustable but it crosses from right shoulder down to left side. You can not change that. Fine by me. When you pull it around to your chest the top of the bag points left and the bottom points right. The zippers pull from top to bottom on the side. Obviously the side facing you, otherwise everything would fall out the bottom now wouldn't it. Today's education isn't all that great, now we have to point out the obvious. Anyway, the inside of the bag is lined with padding. It's fine for occasional bumps but don't be rough with it. The inside has moveable sections. I can fit my kodak z990 and a smaller camera too, along with miscellaneous small itemsall separated by padded moveable dividers. Traveling in large crowded metropolitan areas? swing it around to your front. I have no idea if you'd hear the velcro or the zipper undone, or if it resists cutting etc.

I purchased this bag for my wife. It's small, light weight, and can be easily thrown over the shoulder when racing out the door. Im a guy who likes his hands free, you know in case ninjas try sneaking up on me or when Im hiking to catch myself from falling off a cliff. :)

It fit my camera and lens (24-70mm) perfectly and I was also able to throw my wallet and extra batteries and cards in there too. You also 2 outside compartments for water bottles. It's was easy to pull out and put away my camera at a moment's notice.

i love this bag. i bought it for a recent trip and couldn't be happier. i had my camera body (nikon d3000) with lens (17-70mm) in one side and my extra lens (35mm) on the other side. i then threw sunglasses, iphone, food, etc on top and everything fit beautifully. the bag allows for more storage than it would first appear.

i love the safety aspects of the bag. knowing that everything was safe and secure is obviously a great bonus. you lock up the zippers and know that no one can get in.

the bag is very comfortable. after walking around all day with all my gear my shoulder barely felt it. usually my shoulder is throbbing after a couple of hours.

Sumdex MSB Slim Backpack for 15.6-Inch PC or 15-Inch Mac - RedI love this backpack! It's really well made and it's very comfortable. It's perfect for carrying my text books & MacBook.

My grandson loves this for his laptop and Kindle. It's the perfect size and is light enough not to weigh the little fellow down. There's also room for his cell phone and other desk items.

CaseCrown Vertical Neoprene Skin Case for the HP Touchpad (Orange)

CaseCrown Vertical Neoprene Skin Case for the HP TouchpadThis nice soft, snug case is now where my HP Touchpad lives full-time. I was slightly concerned about how easy the Touchpad would slip in and out of the case due to the design, but it hasn't been a problem at all as it slips in and out with relative ease. Love the eye-catching orange color as well (as it sure beats the boring black ones out there). There's not a lot else to say other than I'm happy with it and that I recommend it to other HP Touchpad owners.

I bought the orange and the grey ones for my touchpads. They work wonderfully to hold them in place. As there arent too many options on the touchpad cases, this works as an alternative.

Ive had it for 3 months. It does its job. I use it to protect my Touch Pad in my backpack from my spiral notebooks and such. Good buy. Not too expensive for something that is going to last.

This case is AMAZING. It fits the Touchpad like a glove and the neoprene is nice and thick, providing mucho protection for your device. The neon orange ensures that it will be very difficult to get lost among your belongings. The price the case is being sold for is a STEAL, so grab one while you can!

Thule 13 Inch MacBook Pro Laptop Attache Case

Thule 13 Inch MacBook Pro Laptop Attache CaseAwesome looking hi-tech bag. Got lots of nice compliments. Then, the zipper teeth literally bent, followed by the zipper falling off the bag. So, it can't close, rendering it useless. I'm trying to get Thule to replace it. But regardless, unless they've improved the design, this is not a reliable bag. (And I'm just using it with an uber-thin Macbook Air.)

This is a great product. It is durable, but small and compact. It fits my iPad and macbook with no problems. It can carry my cables and they can be bundle-some. BUY IT!

Just the right size to carry additional adapters and even an external hard drive. Appears to be very durable so far.

This is a very sturdy case and it is quite light to carry around. I have stopped using mine as it is too small for a lunchbox.

I realized that spending $1,400 for a computer and then buying a cheap, poorly padded case was foolish. This Thule case is waterproof and will take more shock than any other case I've seen. All in all, a wise and necessary purchase. I was traveling recently and my MacBook was knocked off a desk . . . I was lucky that it landed flat and did not on edge . . . I vowed that I would upgrade to a travel-worthy case and the Thule met all my requirements for protecting my computer. I recommend this case to everyone.
