Nice bag, well made, lots of protection in the main padded section for your laptop, easy to pop out laptop for security check. Two larger sections, one for your folders and papers, one for your other stuff with lots of little zipper pockets. The backpack straps are sturdy and well-cushioned. Fits perfectly under the seat on the airplane.
This bag is pretty much as pictured, the dimensions from corner to corner of this boxy item are: 24" L x 13.5" W x 14.5" T. The backpack straps are pretty comfy compared to other canvas military packs from Rothco. Stitching and zippers appear to be of good quality. Not sure how this will work as an airplane carry-on but at the very least it will make an excellent laundry/general gear pack.

I had this originally issued to me awhile back ago. I was able to keep the smaller bag that goes with it and recently purchased this new bag. Unfortunately, it is not able to connect the 2 bags together again. This is a pretty good bag other then that. I like the separate compartments in the main bag for the sleeping bag. However, I was hoping to be able to use it as a set again, so for that, I was disappointed.
I bought this for my daughter on her birthday last year and she is still using it. It is well made and glad that I made the purchase.

It's not often I feel compelled to write a review but I love this bag so much and felt the need to share. I've been looking for a great diaper bag for a while now. One that would not only be functional for baby but would also be professional enough to bring to work everyday. I hate constantly going from one bag to another I'm always bound to forget something.
I purchased this pack frame for my wife since I have owned one of the early Kelty pack frames for 30 years. It has no sturnum strap to hold shoulder straps together. It needs lots more drilled holes for pin adjustments of various components. The webbing is B quality. That said, it is fairly light weighing in at 3 lbs. 6 oz. and the welding of aluminum tubing is very good. It also has optional hangers both high and low for the shelf or the shelf can be removed easily via the pin system. It will probably hold up OK for moderate use.

I love the little shelf on the bottom of the backpack frame. I chose this particular model due to the fact it did have a shelf as most don't. A shelf helps position your pack properly and not have your load droop or shift. The padded shoulder straps are very comfy as well. Quite surprised at that!! There is a lot of thought put into this frame in that you can attach lots of goodies to the frame at different spots. I have a Swiss Military Weatherproof Knapsack that really fits well with a Swiss Army Blanket rolled up and sitting on the shelf under it. Granted you can't carry the kitchen sink with you with this frame, but you CAN wear it when you are on a bicycle and have it balanced while you ride. Would definitely recommend as an excellent external frame to build your own system on versus using an internal frame that digs into your back/kidneys. Total waste of money. Second strap that would have had the female receiving end of the cargo tray strap buckles are missing. Needed it the day it arrived so I tied the straps in a knot so I could use it. After one day use the stitching came apart at the seam of one of the shoulder straps and the thin (barely cushioning) foam came out. Also there is no buckle strap at the chest to clip the shoulder straps together. Makes for a painful sternum after a few minutes use. Piece of junk! Do not waste your money!

My babies are I'm that stage where they are too old for a diaper bag but still need things when we go out. It is so much easier to throw a couple of pampers and a sippy cup in the Jansport bag than carrying around a traditional baby bag.

My boys wanted rolling backpacks this year. So against my better judgement, I bought this one. After two days of school, the zipper broke. We managed to fix it. After about 2 weeks, the bottom started to get warn and one of the straps broke. The zipper continued to break about once a week we had fix it. It is now only October and there is a huge hole in the bottom, the zipper is broken, strap is broken and the wheels are warn out. My son is only 7. He is by no means a big strong kid. This backpack was the biggest disappointment. It is now in the garbage and we had to buy a new backpack less than 2 months into the school year.

This is a great pack for paintball, airsoft, deployment, or just everyday use. Very durable material, heavy stitching, and with a water-resistant coating on the inside. What the picture doesn't show is that it comes with a padded belt/kidney pad and an elastic sternum strap, both adjustable. Buckles are sturdy, and the zippers are coiled nylon (less susceptible to breakage than metal ones). All in all, a great pack which will last for years, even with heavy/rough use.

I started hiking a lot and was at the point where I needed a little backpack. The color isn't too bold, but it's not boring either. I've used this little pack so many times and it still feels brand new. The stitching is tight and the quality A+. You can adjust the chest strap up and down, and the netting in the back can extend a good ways so you can hang a bulky jacket. Also, there is a small pouch at the very top of the pack that fits a small digit camera perfectly. It fits 2 large water-bottles, 2 bags of trail mix, sunscreen and wallets/phones with plenty of space to spare.
I bought this to use as a carrying case for my Microsoft surface. It just barely fit the first time, but after a few uses it fits perfectly. I love the little side pocket. I can store my charger in it, but it does not have a zipper so I have to be a little careful. It has not fallen out yet. The color is true to the picture but it gets dirty pretty easily.
This bag initially was very attractive, and I like the separate shoe compartment. But I left the bag in my car for two days and the pink straps faded terribly. Since I bring my gym bag with me when I go to work in the morning, and it sits in my car during the day, the straps have just continued to fade, and there is very little pink left. Now most of the strap looks kind of "dirty peach." It's very unattractive and I will buy another bag to replace this one.

I purchased this for a trip to Europe. The backpack is roomy with helpful interior zippered and mesh compartments. The interior lining is blue so it's easy to see what's in it, and the two safety clips are great. I carried my iPad, SLR camera, wallet and toiletries, and took this on the subways in London and Paris and never lost a thing. The outside pouch for carrying a bottle of water is great, as well as the carabiner to allow me to lock the backpack to a chair or table leg at a restaurant. I will get a second one of these when my first one wears out, but with daily use and travel for over 9 months now there is very little wear and tear so it will last for quite awhile longer.
