Toshiba PA1501U-1BX6 16-Inch Extreme Plus Backpack
It's worth the money.I needed a comp bag which had enough space for 1-2 days clothes too. This bag is built well and has enough room for 2pr pants, 2 shirts, sox etc + my comp and files/AC pwr/misc too. I had a High Sierra backpack which didn't have a separate slot for my comp (nor was it sold as a comp bag) and while it is a sturdy bag the Toshiba is slightly larger and has extra compartments too! Great bag, good value.

Great little backpack, perfect size for 2-3yr old. Good design and seems more comfortable than other toddler backpacks. The clasp in the front is great for keeping the shoulder straps in place.I would give five stars if it were washable.

We bought this for our three year to carry some of his things for a plane trip from the Midwest to Florida. He loves it because the build quality is akin to the "real" backpacks that adults use, not to the cheap toys that many kids carry. He likes the three separate zippable compartments and enjoyed organizing each compartment to hold different types of his things: artwork supplies for plane in main compartment, headphones for watching a movie in front compartment, snacks in bottom and juice bottle in side bottle holder. The straps are well padded and perfectly sized. They are adjustable and have a clip in front to keep the straps on his shoulders.
Very happy this this backpack. It will clearly last for a couple years until he outgrows it.

My granddaughter had been eyeballing her big brothers backpack and really needed something to pack her own stuff in when on family walks and to pre-school. Easter I gave the kids clothes and only one chocolate rabbit. She saw the backpack and immediately turned around and put her arms back so her mom could put it on her.She wore it the rest of the day.
It has a cross clip to secure it on her and soft straps so it won't chafe or hurt her neck. It's made in Germany, so I trust the manufacturer to have done quality work.
we are very happy with this.

Embassy Italian Stone Design Genuine Leather Tote Bag
The tag says Genuine Leather on it (no smiley face for that, or is that a brand name?) and most of it is done with at patch-work design, which is actually attractive. The zippers are a slight bit tuggy at first and the squared off edges of the two end zippers are yet to ease up in their tugginess, which as I said is the only part of this bag I wouldn't give five stars, but I didn't think it merited taking the rating down to four considering the price.
This bag is roomier than I thought, and as I watched the bags coming off the plane after a Southwest flight, it was one of the most professional and attractive (of course it was new) bags on the conveyer.
My daughter's carry-on needed to be laptop capable. Her fifteen inch laptop and tablet fit quite nicely on top when in a hurry, and tilted between clothing for extra protection when not in a rush. For around $20 this is a great deal. It has more than enough room for me too pack a weeks worth of clothes. Some people complained that it had a smell too it when it arrived. It did but I wouldn't say it was a bad smell. Three days traveling and it was gone, it didn't make my clothes smell at all. The leather isn't real high quality but neither is it cheap plastic imitation. Overall, its a great buy and has a real classy look to it.

Was planning on using this for a 48 hour trip. I tried, but the shoulder strap broke and then the handles broke within 6 hours of actual use.I had to replace it on the fly because there was no way to carry it at that point. It looked good, but the quality is crap.

For under $30 with free shipping this Coleman Backpack is unbeatable. The laptop compartment fits a laptop much bigger than described, a 17 inch or more will fit. Zippers are smooth and do not stick but the best surprise feature is the "mesh" backing. The "mesh" fabric on the backside and on the shoulder straps keep the pack from slipping off your back especially when only using one strap. This is a great feature, no more slipping backpack!!!Want Coleman RTX 3500 35L Backpack with Laptop Pocket Discount?
35l is 8 gallons. This backpack is small, no more than 2 gallons. If 3500 means 3,500 ml or 3,500 cc then it's a 3.5l and not 35l backpack!

TAC Force WebTac Utility Backpack
I needed a tactical/combat level backpack, unfortunately the differences make it not suitable for this task.
Overall it appears to be a good product it just depends on individual needs.
Also this is not the best price for this item or similar items (Which usually includes the hydration bladder). I just needed it quickly & Amazon is reliable for that so I paid a little more for this type of product.
OK lets start with the how it differs from the photo/description & more specific info on some mentioned. Which is not all bad.
.. Removable/hidden padded Internal Frame in a hidden pocket in the Main Compartment behind the laptop pocket.
.. Has an internal padded laptop pocket 9.5x11x1.5 in main compartment.
.. Overall outer dimensions (Including exterior pouches.) 14Wx19Hx7.5D
.. Has 4 covered hydration tube / earbud / wire vents.
.. Has a large external flat hidden pocket between back panel and pack.
.. Main Compartment 10x19x5
.. The mesh pocket 9x5x1 is in main compartment has a single zipper.
.. Top Exterior Compartment 10x7x2.5
.. Inside the Top Exterior Compartment t has 4 elastic loops large enough for pistol mags.
.. Bottom Exterior Compartment 10x11x2.5
.. Inside the Bottom Exterior Compartment has a full velcro loop panel backing.
.. Inside the Bottom Exterior Compartment removable velcro stationary organizer with padded cell phone pocket & an additional padded pocket.
.. Inside the Bottom Exterior Compartment has integral key latch/loop.
.. Two Side Exterior Compartments 8x5x2
.. Two Side Exterior Open Pockets 8x5x0.1 between Side Exterior Compartments & Main Compartment.
.. All compartments/pockets have grommet drainage holes except the sides.
.. MOLLE/PAL on bottom of pack too.
.. All straps have cinches.
.. No Removable Padded Waist Belt but instead a 1 inch wide Attached Flat Waist Belt (Like a car seat belt.) but has stow away spot still.
.. No buckle/straps above side pouches.
.. No upper shoulder strap adjustment.
.. No metal pulls on zipper but just para cord.
.. Shoulder & waist belt no longer reinforced.
So these are the reasons I do not like the pack.
NSingle Stitching in some critical spots.
NNo Removable Padded Waist Belt but instead a 1 inch wide Attached Flat Waist Belt (Like a car seat belt.)
NNo buckle/straps above side pouches.
NShoulder & waist belt no longer reinforced.
NTwo Side Exterior Open Pockets 8x5x0.1 between Side Exterior Compartments & Main Compartment instead of open bottoms to carry long handle tools (That is what the buckle/straps above the side pouches where for.) like a shovel, ax, etc.
It appears the original design was for tactical/combat purpose but now it became more a hybrid suitable for a Good Day, School, Hiking Pack w/ Removable Internal Frame but not Combat. This is a great pack, large enough to stow enough gear for a short camping trip, this is what I plan on using my pack for, the only down fall I see for this pack is the smaller sized zippers on the smaller pockets, the compact version of this pack has large zippers all the way around.
The North Face Terra 65
I guess I will be the first to review this item. I want to go over in detail on the extremities I put this backpack through and what I have planned for the future with this pack.
I went on a 2 day hike with my father-in-law up the Estrella mountain in Phoenix, AZ. The mountain peak is over 4500 ft in elevation and base starts at just around 1100 ft. I purchased this backpack specifically for this trip and I am glad to say I will be using this backpack more in the future. I don't take hiking lightly and this backpack held up to my specs. If you are interested in the conditions I put this backpack through than read the next paragraph. If not than skip to the pros and cons below:
As previously stated my father-in-law and I went on a hike that was around 3500 ft change in elevation. We were in the dead middle of the desert hiking this mountain. There are no streams, rivers, or lakes nearby. We had to carry everything from water, rope, tent, sleeping bag, weapons (rattle snakes, coyotes, mountains lions, etc), change of clothes, food, etc. . The trip was routed for around 12-13 miles in total hike, 45 lbs packs (each), and all rocky terrain. This backpack has some pros and cons I would like to cover. This backpack was placed on the rocks and was pressed against the mountain as we were resting.
Pros:
Great Padding
Great back support
Great hip strap
Great chest strap
A lot of space
Lightweight
A lot of options for adjustments to get comfortable
Solid and reliable material
Cons:
It would be nice to have quick access pockets on the hip pads
The mesh material to hold water bottles on the sides of the backpack do not work well if the backpack is full
The storage area for the water reservoir (camelback) is to low and serves no point as the hook for the camelback sits up much higher. (It does work well for back up camelbacks to be stored).
I gave this product 4 stars and would suggest this product to anyone. I enjoy using this backpack and I am soon going to be using this backpack on my trip down to the bottom of the grand canyon. I have no fear that this backpack will do me great justice. After living/working in Africa, Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Central America and, of course, the U.S, having kit that I can rely upon, to function in the best and worst of conditions, is essential. This pack is CAVERNOUS, and holds everything I need for 5-7 days in "the bush", it customizes to my frame easily (5'8" 79kg), dries quickly, and with a little water proofing, keeps things relatively dry. The side zipper is good for access, but not great, and the sleeping bag compartment can hold a blanket NOT a sleeping bag just FYI. That being said, if the zippers were a little heavier, like REI puts on most of their packs, I'd give this bag 5 stars. It's light, strong, durable and worth every penny regardless of how serious/recreational the user might be.

I just returned from a two day hiking/backpacking trip and the pack preformed great. It's well padded and it had plenty of room for everything that I had with me. (I am neither a North Face employee, nor an associate, so I don't have to use the "The").I have been a North Face customer for more than 30 years, during which time North Face changed from a technical outdoors and climbing company to a worldwide mass marketer of urban fashion clothing, daypacks, and yes, technical and climbing equipment which doesn't comprise a big part of their revenue anymore. I have my own fashion, I don't buy North Face for that in fact, if I could pay extra to get their logo off my equipment, I would. I hate being a walking advertisement.
Yes, their stuff is expensive, even the consumer stuff, and is generally well made with attention to the kind of detail that really matters out in the heat, cold and wet. If it is critical equipment, buy the best.
I recently bought the Terra 65 to do a little walking in the US western Cascades range. Haven't had it out yet, but it looks decently made. However, unpacking and examining the Terra raised some issues that have annoyed me for some time.
1. No instructions or advice included with the product.
OK, I know what an ice axe loop is for (salesman identified it as a walking stick loop) and how to use one. The various pockets and straps were somewhat more obscure and took some exploring. Why not include a pamphlet extolling the features built in to the pack so I get them all at once? There's a mysterious plastic clip at the top of the main compartment apparently for a camelbak bladder with a small opening for the mouth tube. It should be a carabiner or other metal fastener -the plastic is bound to break -but the real issue is that North Face does NOT INCLUDE ANY INSTRUCTIONS OR DETAILED INFORMATION with its equipment. The apparent attitude is "we're so good we don't have to explain ourselves if you don't know or can't figure it out, tough toenails". The website is no better very heavy on lifestyle marketing, useful information not so much. The snooty waiter approach, in other words.
2. The European and UK version of this pack comes with a terrific rain cover which wraps around the back and protects the pack from torrential rains. It is not available in the US, either as an option or separate item and not even mentioned on the North Face website. Why? I know it rains in the US, I just came in out of a thunderstorm a few hours or so. Do Europeans get wetter than Americans?
3. The pack comes with an adjustable torso system, but no instructions on how to determine your torso length or how to adjust it (hint: there is a hidden velcro strip behind the frame which must be separated and a cam on the bottom of the pack frame). Again, no instructions included, nothing on the website, but vacuous videos demonstrating how good you and your girlfriend will look on rugged terrain wearing your pack with Opti-Fit technology.
4. The North Face "lifetime guarantee" has turned into a "lifetime of the product" guarantee. A delightful bit of recursion which basically means "when we get tired of fixing it, you're out of luck".
Now some of this information may be on bulletin boards and retailers web sites (and in fact is, if you spend a half hour googling). And it's stuff you can figure out eventually, even if you don't have subscriptions to 7 outdoor magazines full of more lifestyle marketing. But why should you have to??
CONCLUSION:
The pack pretty good
The attitude stinksthis back pack first of all is simply amazing and highly customizible so no matter if you are 11 or 42 this back pack will fit with alittle ajusting and another thing is theres no problem with the waterbottle holder and no problem with the camelback area it is a great backpack to have for the price and it is also very cofortable and very durable so if you are contiplating on what backpack to buy this is the obvious choice i hope this review was helpful and enjoy your new terra 65 by tnf

Fox Outdoor Alice Backpack Olive Green
But I have a complaint! The item I got was not the item advertisedI was looking for the Alice backpack with the attachment points and the plastic buckles and the tabbed top flap compartment and suchwhat the image on this page showsin cotton canvas as the page says. I was trying to avoid the 'Mini-Alice pack' made of canvas with the traditional closers, because I know that opening and closing those all the time is a pain. Lo-and-behold, though, that's what I got! Exactly what I wasn't looking for, and spent hours (I was determined) going through the internet trying to avoid.
Now, it's a good backpack that I got, don't get me wrong. But the false advertising! Very irritating. The seller I bought from is JM Cremps, so be a little bit careful about your purchases if you're dead set on getting the item pictured.

This is the best student/ life-on-the-go backpack I have ever had. I can fit my Dell xps m1530 into the padded, side compartment and it's huge power block into the bottom front compartment. Inside the main compartment there is another, less secure, area to put a laptop. I use this area for a large file folder. The main compartment easily fits my 4 books and the pen pocket, on the front of the bag, keeps all my supplies organized. There is also a water bottle pocket on one side which could fit work out clothes and on the other side 2 more, camera sized pockets. Also there is a headphone pocket and iPod pocket, which I don't use. You can feed the headphones through a hole so you can keep your bag zipped up. Needless to say, it's got plenty of room for all your stuff. The bag feels rugged and nicely constructed. My bag is about 50 pounds, or more, fully loaded and the padded straps can easily support the weight--as can the little padded handle. Looks good in black and is easily worth the 50 or so bucks I paid.

I bought this backpack primarily due to its colour, and was not disappointed as to what I got. I wouldn't totally agree with the 'hundreds of pockets' some users got, it has the basic front pocket organiser that usually comes with bags in this price range, although this one is slightly better organised and split up. the side pockets are very nice and the TWO fleece lined waterproof media pockets are an extremely welcome feature (one for mp3 player and one for camera/camcorder). The longer pocket on the side really comes in handy for longer items (I know that sounds redundant). The single large compartment is actually a plus for me, since I already have a High Sierra that has the compartment split into two for organisational purposes. I also really like the front curved pocket for laptop adapter/cord. What impressed me the most was the side-entry laptop pocket in the back, which fits my 14.1" Toshiba in it's own neoprene sleeve (which would amount to a 15"). This leaves the internal sleeve (which can also hold a laptop) free for documents/folders. The handle is not entirely neoprene, it's actually reinforced fabric with neo padding, so I am not worried about that ripping. As some reviewers noted, waterproof zippers on all the pockets would have been ideal, and the padding on the back is somewhat average, but not too bad. The straps themselves are slightly thinner and less padded than my Sierra, so I know I will use this bag for situations where I don't have to keep it on all the time. One thing to note: the way the straps join to give the handle brings them together a bit too much for my liking. This will be OK for women, but if you are a man with more developed traps you will understand what I am talking about (if you are a man you should also know what 'traps' are).
The fabric is excellent, pinstriped chocolate brown with an elegant matte finish, it looks built like a tank, time will tell if I am right or not, but for the price I will be happy for a few years service.
Not to mention Gravity Trading are very professional and helpful and had the best price at the time.

Comfortable, spacious, rugged, and stylish. Nothing else measures up. Perfect for travel, college, or city life. Buy it.Note: The only thing I've never used this for is outdoor activities, but if you are smart about packing (you could even put a bladder in the sleeve inside the main compartment), it would probably be better than most "technical" backpacks out there.
Level III Lv3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack--TAN
The problems I have found are related to the shoulder straps and the waist support belt. The length of the shoulder straps' padding is so short that they barely go over your shoulders and provide no protection near your chest. As a result the horizontal strap that connects both shoulder straps will end up near your throat. This is really a deal breaker. Regardless of the type of backpack, good padding and good support design is fundamental to make something usable and practical.
The second problem is the waist support belt. The idea of it is to offload some of the weight off your shoulders and transfer it over to your waist. That is not the case. This backpack's waist support belt is just a regular webbing strap that will keep the backpack close to your back but won't offload anything off your shoulders. Certainly the offloading feature was left out of the equation.
I have used this backpack for 12 to 16 miles one-day hikes/runs and I certainly feel the difference with other types of backpacks from the same vendor that certainly have better cushioning design such as the Condor Medium MOLLE Assault Pack. As an additional note and if you don't know, Condor produces 3 types of backpacks: Condor Small MOLLE 1 day Assault Pack, Condor Medium MOLLE Assault Pack and the MOLLE 3 Day Military Assault Backpack (basically the small, medium and 3 day).
After using them all, I would only use this little but practical backpack for 1 or ½ day easy hikes. The Condor Medium MOLLE Assault Pack, while it doesn't have all the pockets and gadgets of the little one, is a better option for more serious or strenuous hikes because it just has a better support design. The 3-day one is just for that: trekking. This pack is great, no doubt, but I ordered it in tan, and it arrived labeled as tan, but OD green, so the image is somewhat misleading. Pack works perfectly, lightweight and versatile!
Buy Level III Lv3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack--TAN Now
I bought the Level III Molle Assault Pack about a week ago intending to use it as a shooting range backpack and as a thrown-'n'-go pack for travel. This backpack looks "tacticool", and the fabric is high quality, but I am returning the pack here's why:-The zippers are weak; One of the zippers "splits" when it should be staying zipped. This is with no tension on either side of the zipper seam. With weight in the pack, the zipper immediately splits open on the main compartment when the bag is shouldered.
-The pack strap pads are comfortable and the pads sit on the right part of my shoulder to make a difference, but the straps themselves feel thin, and the seams on the straps aren't stitched on well. I wouldn't trust this bag with more than a laptop and a textbook's worth of weight, especially in the pouches farther from your back.
-The strap buckles and rings are all plastic, and they are cheap plastic. Again, I wouldn't trust this bag with a significant amount of weight.
If this bag had sturdier shoulder straps, consistently reliable zippers, and beefier plastic or metal strap fittings, it'd be a steal at this price... but for this price, with the problems my copy has, it's not even a keeper. I'd keep it if the zipper issue wasn't such a pronounced issue. 2 Stars.

1. There are carabiners which cover the major zippers. They are quite difficult to open, and if anyone fumbles with your backpack while you're on a crowded bus in Rome you will definitely feel it if you used the carabiners. Just remember to learn the word for "thief" in the native language.
2. You can use one of those little locks that people put on their checked baggage and actually LOCK the zippers; their holes are large enough for the U of those locks. I had the keys to those little locks on a chain around my neck, and felt safe checking the bag anywhere.
3. Slash-proof bag and shoulder straps.
It's light, has enough space inside to be a decent carry-on on the plane, yet isn't gigantic and is actually comfortable walking around sightseeing with, unless you like to hermit-crab your house when you go on vacation.

It comes with a fairly comfortable handle, a nice shoulder strap that cannot be removed, as well as a strap in the back to slide around the handle of a carry-on luggage.
The main pocket (for the laptop, closed by a pair of zippers) is padded on all sides including the bottom.
The front pocket (closed only by two magnets) is big enough for the power adapter, a laptop mouse and a couple of pens (and possibly a slim DVD reader).
Warranty is advertised as 5 year limited.
