We bought this for my middle child (will be passed on to the youngest in a couple years) and I was a little disappointed in the storage (or lack of.) There are only 3 book and 3 cartridge slots, you can fit more in but they seem to stretch out when you do that. They should have built it more like the LeapPad Storage Organizer my older daughter has. Other than that, it works or what it is made for.Want My First LeapPad Backpack Discount?
I have not seen this backpack but all the reviews mention the fact that it only holds three books and cartridges. We (my wife) found a backpack for the Fisher Price Reader that holds twelve books and cartridges. This backpack easily holds the books, cartridges, and the leap pad in one convenient place.

When I first bought this I was ecstatic. It has all the pockets and organization that I expected and needed. I travel a lot for work so the whole scan fast thing is a must for me. Unfortunately this also means that I use it all the time. And that's how the shoulder strap broke off while walking through the airport. Even worse, this happened about 4 months after I bought the thing. I even tried just carrying the thing by the handles after that. Now (about another 4 months later) even the handles are breaking off of it. When I pay for quality I expect just that. I guess all I really payed for was that little alien head on the front. And I payed too much for that. Don't waste your money.
The M18x is one of the largest and heaviest laptop computers on the market. The M18x fits snugly into the messenger bag. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not appear to have strengthened the stitching to enable the bag to support the weight of the M18x and power supply during routine travel. I purchased my M18x in August 2011 along with the messenger bag. The first messenger bag lasted about 2 weeks before the shoulder strap separated from the bag due to its inability to support the weight of the M18x and power supply. I returned the bag to Amazon and received a new one. The new bag lasted about 3 weeks before one of the carrying handles snapped off while I was going through airport screening. I have now returned this second bag to Amazon and am seeking a replacement bag for my M18x.
Unless the manufacturer strengthens the stitching to accommodate the M18x and power supply, stay away from this bag.

This bag is horrible. The handles broke after a month of use. The shoulder strap is still in tact--but barely. I was led to believe that this bag was made for the Alienware 18-inch laptop, but clearly the quality is NOT up to par. DO NOT BUY THIS BAG! I am very disappointed to learn that I will only get a partial refund when I return this bag. :( GRRRR!!After only three months of dealing with mobileedge and HP I once again have a working laptop and a new bag. I wouldn't have had to deal with Hp if my laptop didn't break partly due to the poor construction of the bag.I had no idea how poorly their laptop bag was constructed until after comparing it to some other name brands, and other quite cheap bags.
The problem is not the quality of the materials but failure of design on the various points which will carry the weight such as the shoulder strap connections, shoulder-strap and from what I read the handle itself. I would be less upset if this had occurred after 12 18 months, but less than four weeks?
If you do much travel or have an 18" laptop then the current M18x is not for you. Or to put it another way, it is like a high performance sports car with safety belts made of string cheese.

When I opened the box for this item I almost thought they had shipped me the wrong bag. First of all the color is much much darker than the cute pastel blue/pink shown in the product image. Second, the stitching in the front between the two colors was so awfully executed I wanted to rip it out. It's also much smaller than most standard diaper bags. I bought it after checking out my local stores and not finding one that I liked and having had good experiences buying online based on customer reviews, I thought I was gonna get a better deal and product online, plus it's from Gerber. For the same price you can get a much better product elsewhere. This diaper bag is pretty small. I am using cloth diapers and I think it will be too small to be convenient. The quality is average. The portable changing pad that came with it is really too small to be of much use, so you'd probably still need to buy a separate one. The little cooling bag doesn't appear to be very well insulated. I love the bag and it is as described. However I have used the adidas duffel bags from the friend and those definitely felt a little bit more tougher and durable than this one. So I did consider them a better purchase even if they are a little more expensive.But this bag definitely looks a lot nicer. This bag is awesome.! I was looking for a larger duffle bag since my 24" wasn't holding everything I needed. I had ordered the coldwater one for 14.99, but it smelled like a shower curtain liner for over a week. Back it went! After that I was afraid to order online because of the smell issue. I found a small sports store by my house and they had this one in stock. NO SMELL!!! Big and roomy to boot. On each end the have zippered compartments which are good for shoes or wet towels. The handles are padded which is really nice. The bag is light to carry but seems very durable. Yes it was a lot more than the other one I ordered but totally worth every penny. Great product! I was looking for something that not many people in my area would have. Something durable and would fit my style. Kipling Eldorado Small Shoulder Bag
I loooove this bag. I spent days looking for a small cross-body bag that would fit my phone and a few other items. Despite the price, I decided to purchase this one, and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised when I started using it.It holds everything I need without getting heavy or bulky. The zippers and velcro closures seem very sturdy. The strap is wide enough to not hurt my neck or shoulder and it is very easy to adjust. The bag sits comfortably on my hip (or on my lap if I'm sitting) and it doesn't get on the way.
In the front zippered bag I put my HTC Incredible with case and a pack of tissues. My phone is easily accessible and I have no problem retrieving it when it rings.
In the front pocket I put my wallet and keys. Also very easy to reach.
The back zippered pocket is large enough to fit a small planner, two small containers with hand cream and hand sanitizer, a pack of gum, a pocket mirror, a lipgloss, and my sunglasses. This pocket is not very easily accessible because the zipper is behind the shoulder strap, but I don't mind because I only need this items occasionally.
The middle pocket is designed to hold cards but I don't trust it because it doesn't seem very secure (that's why I use my wallet instead). I use this space to hold a usb stick, an ipod nano and earphones, a pen, and other random items that I rarely use like coupons and wipes.
The only con is that it doesn't have a secured pocket for small items like earrings or loose change.
The color in the picture of the "true blue" is deceiving. I was expecting it to be a bit brighter and slightly washed out, but it's a very dark blue, almost black. It's a pretty color, but it looks more "formal" than what I expected. I suggest you google the name and color to see what it really looks like.
Bottomline: this is a very useful and cute bag.

Like all Kipling products, this is a cute yet durable bag (my Kipling backpack is 15 years old and still looks like new). However, I wanted to point out that the IMAGES MISS A FEW THINGS.COLOR:
"Warm Grey" is very misleading. It is much darker and more brown than shown in the images. I would consider this a "Dark Tan". I have shown this bag to friends and family and asked what color it is, and they all say "Tan" or "Khaki". I purchased this to wear with black clothing and shoes. It is a much better match with brown clothing or shoes.
Also the lining of the front flap pocket and the card case are a pale minty green. It is a fairly neutral color, but still it is in the green family.

It is small and extremely lightweight, but holds and organizes everything I need, including: keys, my wallet (3 x 2 x 1.5), pen, 2 phones, antibacterial bottle, and a fair amount of make-up. Best of all, its many compartments keep everything separate, so I am never digging around in the bottom of my purse for things.
MATERIAL:
If you have never owned a Kipling, let me describe the material. It is like a cross between nylon and canvas. It looks more like canvas and has the thickness of canvas, but it has the "feel", the lightness and the waterproof attributes of nylon. Really, it is the "best of both worlds". My Kipling backpack has lasted 15 years with out a tear or a stain. The zippers are not normal zippers they are about 4 times as thick in gauge (i.e. much more "chunky") which makes them more sturdy and gives the bag a more industrial look.
It is cut but very casual, great with jeans though probably not appropriate with dressy attire or office clothing. I highly recommend this (or any) Kipling bag for daily wear, and especially for travel!

I love Kipling products, have always been incredibly happy with them and my unhappiness with this purse isn't about the actual bag but rather the size which I didn't realize was so small even after reading the dimensions. I was looking for something small to hold my wallet, phone and a camera when I went out and while this does accommodate those three items the pockets are awkward and I didn't feel secure with the items in them. The pocket for your credit cards/drivers license is not protected as there is only a Velcro flap over it and I worry that something would fall out. Not sure why the picture looks like it does. The pack is very similar to the other ScanSmart packs. The material is the same flat black canvas and it looks just as great. The front pocket (bottom) is big enough for my iPad, Kindle, and and 8.5x11 notepad. This is also where your keys, pens, business cards, etc. go. The pocket above this is a little smaller than some of the other Scansmart packs, but it still fits lots of misc items. The main (middle) compartment fits notebooks, 3-ring binders (plural!), has a zippered mesh 9"x9" pocket on the front side (ipad can go here, but zipper won't close), a smaller pocket above the 9x9 pocket for head phones and misc small items (like my iPad camera kit), and is also where the iPod/MP3 player pouch is. This pouch is 3.5"x4.5" and does not close. Be careful pulling items out of the main compartment to avoid dislodging your phone. A hole in the top of this compartment serves as a way to your headphone cord to make its way out of the bag. The final main compartment is for your laptop. It opens from the side (so be sure to remember to zipper it up before you pick up the backpack!). It does not have any straps to hold the laptop and there are no addt'l pockets here. The side pockets hold a large Nalgene bottle, and the side zipper pockets are big enough for chargers, cords, smaller water bottles, etc. Nice backpack!UPDATE (June 2011): After a few months of use: Still a good pack, but some interior seems are starting to come loose. Key chain clip broke after a three weeks of use. Moved from 5 stars to 4 stars.
Extreme Heavy Duty Camo Backpack 22.5 x 6/multiple zippered pockets, padded adjustable shoulder str
The pack I received was not the "Camping" Extreme Pak (pictured), but instead was the "Heavy Duty" Extreme Pak (has the fish-net pocket on the back). I was looking for a small camo pack to store my gear when in the field, hunting coyotes. Although the "H.D." is bigger than I wanted, it's still useable, and not worth the hassle, or the expense, to send it back. That said, the "Heavy Duty" model is well made; the zippers function just fine, and there are beaucoup pockets. A plus is that the waist belt is padded (as are the shoulder straps). The "Heavy Duty" would serve well as a day-hike pack, but it's a bit light for overnight use. A great value for the money.
Description:
The one you receive has a removable fanny pack on the bottom that zips to the base of the back pack. I found it handy for storing fishing line and other odds and ends that I don't need to use frequently. Plenty of pockets, two on either side of the main compartment that run its length, two front pockets and with a mesh pocket on top. The "fanny" pack when unzipped from the pack has a top zipper for the main pocket and then two small pockets on either side with another pocket on the front.
Impression:
The quality of the pack is what you should expect for the money, the fabric is of good quality but the stiching sux, I have had to re-stitch the main zipper back on in a few spots. The padding on the arm straps is minimal as well as the padding on the waist/fanny pack straps. I would not recamend this pack pack to anyone looking to carry heavy objects, such as a student and their books.
My Use:
I got this for fishing from the bank so I could carry all my gear with me and have both hands free. I also wanted something that I didn't worry about taking abuse. So far it is perfect for the job. All the zippered pockets are being used and even when it's full it's not to heavy or bulky feeling.My family and I are putting together bugout bags for each car. I love the material heavy and thick and I really like that you can separate the bottom from the top. It's also deep with a lot of pockets for your supplies. I Will be ordering more YOU CAN'T BE THE PRICE, looked at other stores and online want double and triple the price. And the other companies product didn't have as many pockets and no separation. I will be ordering more.Its a good size for the price. Obviously it isn't of the highest quality. The zipper broke pretty easy, but there were two zippers so I just used the other one. It had a ton of compartments so that was cool. Its pretty big too. I like it.

I've had this bag for a while now and it has worked out great for me! It's sturdy, well made, and puts up well with all the abuse I put it through. It holds my laptop, my books, and any other supplies I may need, while still remaining comfy to wear and walk around with. I enjoy the hanging pocket inside to hold my mp3 player.All the different compartments are very handy, too. I also like the zipper pulls. They're a good size without being too clunky, but also allow for a lock on the bag in case you feel the need. All in all a nice bookbag.
Edit: don't walk in the rain with this thing on . You'd think that for a bag advertised for electronics, they'd think of some sort of water resistant coating but that is not so at all. I had to make a short walk (under 2 minutes) on a semi-raining day, it was more than drizzling but not all out raining cats and dogs, and this thing held more water than the cotton hoodie I was wearing. Gladly, nothing inside got wet on the walk over, but you could wring the bookbag out later.
I stand by my first review that this is a well built bag with a good design to it, but a liiiitle more thought could've gone into it.

Comfort Grip Luggage Handle is a wonderful invention that comes under the heading of "Why didn't I think of that first?"This is a really excellent idea that functions to make the handle of your luggage more comfortable to grip, especially if you are carrying a heavy bag. All my luggage has a bright yellow Austin House Comfort Grip.I can see my luggage as it comes down the chute.
I've even seen it on the loading carts parked near the plane when they're being loaded or unloaded.
No trying many bags to see if they're mine because there's no mistaking the bright yellow grip.
Other passengers probably quickly know it's not their bag -they don't have a bright yellow grip.
It's a great product too -well manufactured, grips tightly, and the luggage is easier to lift because of the padded grip.

District Threads Canvas Field Bag
It's a pretty nice bag for a couple books and odds. The side pockets don't have much give to them so if you put large objects in they bulge quite a bit, which makes them essentially useless. So you basically have one main compartment.Unfortunately it's a bit small bordering on purse-ish. I'm a grad-student in the sciences and I like to work with a clipboard, if it was slightly larger so I could fit my clipboard in it would be about perfect. This was my fault for not checking the size, though. District Threads offers a field-bag that would have fit my clipboard. If you work on smaller items like moleskines then this bag will be an okay size for you. I didn't take off any stars for the size issue, just be aware.
I should note this is not a real canvas bag, it's pretty flimsy cotton and I expect it will wear through pretty fast if you subject it to much. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a canvas bag.

I bought this bag 2 or 3 years ago to use as a purse. It's big enough to store tons of notebooks for school and has loads of hidden pockets for other random stuff. The compartment I use the most is actually the small zippered one on the back of it for my keys, wallet, and phone. It fades with use, of course, and it's just now getting holes in the back since I wear it everyday and it rubs against my leg. However, the back compartment has its own fabric so nothing is going to fall out through the frayed holes. The strap is quite long which I like and on me (5'6'') the top of the bag is between my waist and hip.Almost all of the compartments are zippered except the one behind the front flap which is a little piece of velcro and of course the main compartment.
The canvas fabric holds paint and sharpie doodles very well!
Now that I'm done with college I'm looking for a smaller bag to use as a purse and will definitely look into this company again.
Pacsafe Luggage Venturesafe 150 Fanny Pack
I bought this for my son for an upcoming Disney trip. We go to Disney regularly and it is my theory that my kids should carry their own stuff. I wanted something that would keep his belongings safe and secure, easy to use, and would hold up to abuse. I was not disappointed.What it held was an iphone, a Hidden Mickey book, a pocket Disney trivia/scavenger hunt book, his ipod, sunglasses, an autograph book, a large pen, two large mini M&M tubes, his wallet, his lanyard, a bag full of trader pins, and some snacks with room to spare. It holds A LOT! He also used a clip to attach a water bottle to the outside. He had no problems carrying it (no aches or pains) and said it was quite comfortable. He wore it as sling bag (how other sites show: this bag is meant to be worn either as a sling bag OR can be used as a waist pack/fanny pack)
He had no problems unlatching or latching the security clips, but someone else would not be able to do so without your noticing.
My son is 11 and is 4'11" tall and very thin. This bag fit him well now and has plenty of room to grow nicely with him. He has continued to use it since that trip on other day outings/trips. The bag gets tossed around a lot, but still looks brand new. This was well worth every penny and I plan on buying more for my younger kids.
It was very easy to access the contents in the bag a lot more than a small backpack, probably as easy as a side pack. The advantage over the side pack is that it doesn't swing at your hips and thighs when you are on a bike something we did a lot of in Vietnam. It was compact, balanced and close to my body, and when worn across my chest, it was easy to access things while moving on the bike. It was great on day hikes because it doesn't bounce like a backpack when running downhill. I could not use it as a fanny pack because I couldn't get the straps to tighten up enough around my waist; so, it was used across the chest or across the back. The safety latches on the zippers were good for when I wore it across the back.
Security-wise, it was great while walking through the crowded cities, sitting down at restaurants/cafes (latched to my chair) and squatting at food stalls on the street. Worn across the back with the zippers latched, I comfortably sat on low stools, stooped over and slurped the noodles out of hot soup without having to take the bag off. While traveling on overnight trains and buses, I was able to loop the strap around an armrest or bar close to me and knew that anyone trying to quickly unlatch it would have a harder time doing it because the strap buckle was not the standard type that you can undo with just one hand. Most people would not know the extra pressure point on the buckle required to undo it. It was great to know that even if someone stole my main backpack, all my essentials were in this small, secure pack that I felt was virtually difficult to get separated from if I practiced common sense and basic due diligence. I didn't worry about my main backpack. It only had dirty laundry and toiletries in it all very easy to replace and nothing valuable.

I used this bag a few weeks ago on a trip to Europe. I was concerned at first because the bag is a bit stiff and I worried about the bulky feel of it. Happily, my fears were unfounded. It was the perfect size to get the job done and not be too large to have on me all day long. This bag was able to carry passports for the 4 of us, cell phone, camera, train tickets, Euros, small guide book, and a few small souvenirs. There were many times I had to concentrate on the task at hand and could not worry about my bag and for these times I was so happy I made this purchase. My husband was nearly pick-pocketed and he was wishing he had a bag like mine. I could get what I needed out of it, zip it up and turn it back around, not worrying about who could get into it. we used this all over Italy. I used the Pacsafe camera strap (slashproof) and would stuff my camera (micro 4/3rds) into this bag when not shooting photos. Very easy to carry and switch from front to back. When in crowds, I wore it in front, and other times, I could feel good about having to the side under one arm near the hip. On working days, I normally drive to train station thru the highway with toll, then take the crowded train to office and later on the way back from office, I always stop for about an hour at the hill near one of the train stations for hiking. My previous bag is good but it swings if I run instead of just walking/hiking.Venturesafe 150 is very handy. I don't have to take it off my body while driving (easy to get my prepaid card for highway toll). Now, I don't worry that much inside the crowded train. And it doesn't swing when I run.
Two problems though:
My water bottle is too large (I am aware before buying and I changed it to Nalgene 0.35L plastic flask)
My Galaxy Tab 10.1 (I changed it to Galaxy Tab 7.7)
Typical contents of my Venturesafe 150:
Cards for highway, train and office (top front pocket)
Tissues, small currency and coins (bottom front pocket)
Galaxy Tab 7.7 (main pouch)
Nalgene 0.35L flask (main pouch I make sure the cap is properly tightened, no leak so far)
Head lamp (main pouch)
Wallet & handphone (at the back pouch)
There is a small space left enough for a shirt (of fine material thick cotton shirt may be difficult to fit in this remaining space inside the pack).
I bought 2 units because I knew I need to change it once in a while due to hiking. However, when I put all the above items, the pack seems to be too bulky for my taste. So, I cut short of both of the male end of the straps (the strap with male connector) and combine the 2 packs into one (i.e. the male connector of one pack goes into female connector of another pack, vice versa so you will have 2 Venturesafe 150 in the shape of detachable ring). I like the idea now that my Tab and flask are at separate pack and they kind of balancing each others weight on my shoulder. Normally my Tab, cards & wallet are inside pack at the chest side and flask and other non-fragile items are inside the pack at my back. And I have used this modified version for more than a week.
