We bought this for my middle child (will be passed on to the youngest in a couple years) and I was a little disappointed in the storage (or lack of.) There are only 3 book and 3 cartridge slots, you can fit more in but they seem to stretch out when you do that. I have not seen this backpack but all the reviews mention the fact that it only holds three books and cartridges. We (my wife) found a backpack for the Fisher Price Reader that holds twelve books and cartridges. This backpack easily holds the books, cartridges, and the leap pad in one convenient place.
Rugged roller bag that is the perfect size for overhead luggage compartments. I have filled it with 5 days of business clothes and it always fits in the overhead. It closes with a zipper and buckles to keep my stuff safe. The mesh zippered screens inside are handy. I definitely recommend it.

I purchased this item in early July (2011) and it's already damaged and inoperable. Admittedly, I travel a lot (130K miles this year & counting) but this item didn't even last six months. Specifically, the handle no longer works (the handle won't rise making it next to impossible to do anything but carry the bag). I liked the styling and the size of the bag but the quality is completely unacceptable. My advice, save your money and make a different selection!
I've been using this pack several times a week for over a year now, and it works great and is holding up well. I got it as a replacement for a simple MEC day pack which I used happily for 20 years, and although this one is a bit larger it also feels about a third lighter when fully loaded! I love the simplicity of the top-loading design and the suspension system is great (rigid back panel helps a lot and is very comfy with an odd or bulky load). Its also easy to strap a rope and helmet on the top/outside.
We got this backpack for our son when he started kindergarten, about 9 months ago. It is working out very well. It is large enough to hold all his school stuff, lunch box, and jacket. We use one of the side pockets to hold a water bottle. It has held up well so far, no tears or wear. The only thing it does not have is, pencil pockets in the front pocket. It just has one large pocket, so I sewed a pencil pouch to the inside. We will be able to use it again next year.

I just received this backpack and WOW. Its more than I expected. This pack traveled with me across the USA twice....and boy did it make life easier. Pockets, pockets and more pockets....all to make those things you need the most, safe. Phone pockets, shoe pockets. ipad pockets...I've worn over 50 backpacks in my life...easily the most comfortable. This is all cool....but the fact this material the bag is made of is bacteria free....its a healthy way to tote those sweaty damp clothes or shoes, along with your electronics and even that apple your going to eat a bit later. This bag is the balm.
I work on offshore oil rigs and needed a bag that was rough, tough, and as waterproof as possible for my travels. I spent a year looking for the perfect bag and I'd have to say I think I've found it. I was a little worried about the Velcro flap but after using it I think it'll work just fine. The backpack straps do slip a little easier than I would like but so far not a problem at all. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't really tested out it's waterproof abilities. So far I couldn't happier with this bag and think I'll have it for years.
I've had mine for about a year now and it's really held up well despite the abuse I've put it through travelling. One thing that's hard to see in the picture is that the materials are actually really nice. Metal components and high quality fabrics are much appreciated when everything else I have is made of cheap (and easily breakable) plastic. I get lots of comments on it too, especially after switching from my standard black nylon laptop bag.
The backpack itself is great. It's compact and sturdy, and rolls very nicely; evenly balanced.

this wheel bag is large in volume. It fits my fifteen inches laptop. But the stick is kind of loose. The sound that the wheel produce is bigger than I expected. I thought it's waterproof according to someone else's review but it's not. Nonetheless, it worth my money.
How can you go wrong? I use this cover to place my Kindle DX into when I go somewhere so I don't have to carry anything else. It has a front zipper pouch so I can put my keys into it separate and not worry about scratching my kindle that also has its own leather cover which I have in the main pouch where it fits nicely.
I bought this as a gift for my sons 3rd birthday. I purchased the smaller one as he's a toddler and does not need (nor is big enough) for a full size backpack. It came in the mail today and it's not a backpack at all. It does not have straps. It came with a messenger style strap that attaches to the very top which makes it cumbersome to wear. It did not mention this at all in the description. I am not happy with this purchase.
I received this and it looks used, it even smells used. I received this bawled up in a box. No form of any type of folding of the material its made of. It stinks, it has tears and I know I didn't pay for any kind of used material. Its cheap but USED was not in any option I picked. It comes with no pack straps and in I say again not good condition.
This is a great bag and it's size is deceptive (in a good way). I had a couple other diaper bags and I finally found the right one. One was way too large... I ended up donating that one to my mom so she'd have a diaper bag for when she's babysitting. Another was just a big abyss with no pockets at all.

I've had about 3 diaper bags that really didn't meet my needs until I found this one. It has lots of room and pockets. The cell phone holder really won't fit any of the newer phones, but there are plenty of pockets to put them in. The extra pockets really gave it plenty more space and helped to organize way better than other diaper bag I've seen. I love how you can unbuckle the strap. It came in handy many times when my daughter fell asleep on my shoulder and it makes it much easier to balance the weight when carrying my daughter. I had been looking for a messenger bag that was reasonably priced that met my needs and this definitely did that! It's roomy enough to double as mom's purse as well. I bought one of these a year ago at Sam's Club for my youngest son because he liked the color. I thought it was a bit of overkill since he's in elementary school, but the price wasn't bad. This backpack performed so well that I happily shelled out to buy another one for my older son. I have them hanging next to each other right now and from where I sit, if I didn't know which was which, I wouldn't be able to tell you which was the new one and which was a year old.
Delivery was on time I order it on Friday and got it on the following Monday. Once I got the backpack I put my lap top in it and the fit was some what very snug, I really won't say I had a hard time putting in and taking out my 17" laptop but it did not come out or enter as smooth as I thought it would. As for as the comfort when wearing it on my shoulders, I would give it a 2, it is too wide for my shoulders and I don't have small shoulders.
my only criticism is that the ipad with an otter box does not fit into the box. which is unfortunate because the otter box is the best case ever for the ipad. However you can take out one of the cardboard foam inserts and it will fit. other than that it is awesome, i love the camera pocket in the back and it is super comfortable. I was worried that it would be to heavy but i am happy with it. so if you have an otter box just know that you will have to rip our the lining in the box on one side to make it work which is not that hard to do. but one would think that Pelican would think that people who would buy a heavy duty back pack would also have a heavy duty case on their ipad.

I just returned form two weeks in Alaska and found the Lowepro Vertex 300 was what I expected from Lowepro. I found that it easily stored in the overhead bin and was easy to carry in the field. I carried a Nikon D100 and F100 both with the extended battery packs, a 170-500mm Sigma Telephoto, two additional lenses, an Epson P-3000, DX-80 Flash, various Cokin filters, extra batteries, chargers, flashlight, 20 rolls of film, manuals, tools, canned air and a Gitzo 2530 with no problem. So, as you can see I had just about everything but the kitchen sink! The ability to carry this by it's top strap made it easy to get around. The build quality is very good also. I will purchase Lowepro again!

We got this set for my daughter for preschool, she's still a little young but seems to like it. Its big enough to hold a change of clothes, some pullups and a folder with room on some days for the lunch bag to still fit in side. The lunch bag is perfect side for her lunches. Very happy.
Wasn't sure if this would be large enough for my wife and I for our 3 day excursions. The motocentric bag was perfect. Plenty of room and pockets for everything. Very secure on the bike, well built, readily accessable. Highly recommended.
