JanSport Wavelength Laptop Backpack

JanSport Wavelength Laptop BackpackI'm 71 and was looking for an inexpensive backpack to carry my laptop and all the stuff I need during a day, including a book or two, some work clothes, wallet, etc. This very basic pack, though I expect it won't last forever with the load I put in it, is entirely satisfactory. Not much structure to it, but it serves me very well.

it has enough space to storage all your thing!. To be so cheap, it was a good product. jeansport has great products

Travel Buddies Luggage Set

Travel Buddies Luggage Set, Archie AlienThis luggage set is a FANTASTIC product for kids. I used to have to carry my kids luggage through the airport in addition to my own. Now my kids insist on carrying their own luggage. My son has Archie Alien and my daughter has Percy Penguin. They are great quality, hold enough kid clothes for a trip and have a matching backpack that fits snugly inside when not being used. My kids put their carryon things in the backpack and wheel their luggage. The cases are super quality and we have had no issues with anything breaking on them after much use (when we are not travelling, they use the case to hold their toys and they use the backpacks all the time). All in all, a really unique, practical and fun product that any kid would love! We have gotten stopped in the airport numerous times asking where we found them! I highly recommend!

The bags look just as cute in person as they do in the pictures. My nephew loved the penguin set,but i really knew it was a hit when my sister's face lit up with a smile. This is my new "go to gift" for kids. They seem to be well built and both bags are covered with a plastic film to protect them during shipping. Very light too.

I just ordered the Percy Penguin Travel Buddies Luggage Set for my son (4 y.o.) & we put it to the test this weekend on a trip to California. Very impressed with the quality & how the suitcase rolls. The size is perfect for a young one; big enough to hold their clothes for a weekend trip and more functional than the Melissa & Doug Trunki. The backpack is big enough for some toys but not too big that it can be overstuffed & too heavy to wear. Helps keep a nice limit on the number of toys brought on a trip! Perhaps one of the best things about this luggage set is the way it makes people smile as you roll it through the airport. Traveling can be stressful at times so anything we can do to help each other smile is a good thing, right? And finally, my son loves it! Wears it & rolls it proudly (and it is still light & easy to carry when mom or dad needs to take over!).

I was skeptical about this bags, but they turned out better than I expected. He is just 4 years, and we had a 23hrs journey to India couple of months ago. He din't allow me to touch his bags, and carried BOTH bags through out the journey.

From the quality perspective, they are well made, good material bags. Light weight and easy to carry. And of course, they look very very cute.

This is a great travel luggage set, and my daughter loves to take the backpack to school, too, and it gets lots of attention from the other children. It is very sturdy, rolls well, and holds lots of great kiddie stuff. I would highly recommend this for birthday gifts from grandparents who want the kids to visit!

High Sierra At Series Luggage, 32-Inch (Wheeled Drop Bottom Duffel)

High Sierra At Series Luggage, Go Grey, 32-InchThis bag is great for extended stays... or shorter stays if you're a heavy packer or packing for 2. In my opinion, for a 2 plus week trip where you want to bring souvenirs back this bag is an excellent choice. I suggest packing cubes because they make it so much easier to manage the vast amount of space this bag has to offer. If you plan on using it as a backpack you better be quite strong, especially if it's fully loaded. However, when I needed the backpack feature it was awesome to have and it saved me tons of time and effort. When fully loaded with clothes and travel necessities I came in 10 pounds under the 50 pound weight limit so careful planning is required when packing so as to not get charged at the airport. Material and overall strength of the bag is fantastic. I beat it up over 16 days of constant traveling in China and it held together perfectly. The wheels handled the various terrains very well and never stopped rolling. Overall a durable and well thought out bag!

I purchased this bag for my 14 yr. old son for our week long trip to Washington D.C. and it turned out to be more than adequate for all of his stuff plus having room for souvenirs coming home. The extra outer pockets come in handy for stowing last minute things and it handled very well everywhere we went. He received several compliments on it and really loves it(his is gray plaid). It is only about 11 lbs. so the weight wasn't an issue. Very happy overall!

I bought this bag as I travel for three week periods internationally for work but also try to include a side trip which usually included snowboarding. I bought this bag to be flexible enough to hold a large amount of gear but also be soft to squeeze into cars and also have backpack straps to carry so I can also pull my snowboard bag. The bag has not disappointed, heaps of room, easy to pull along and easy to spot amongst all the black bags on the airport carousel. Would definitely recommend if someone is looking for a flexible bag to handle both work and play.

I was looking for something I could easily fit a week's worth of business attire in and tough enough to survive the over zealous baggage handlers at ATL. I think I found it. I just returned from my first trip with this bag and was very pleased. After getting my clothes for the week in the bag I was left believing I had forgotten something because I still had room to spare. No problem though because the adjustable straps around the bag allowed me to cinch down the bag tight. No problems at the airport as the ticket attendant got the tape measure out to make sure it met the size limitations. No problem with weight either as this bag is surprisingly light for its size. All that was lest was the baggage handlers. I came home without a rip or tear.

There also seems to be plenty of room for the getaways with the wife. We should easily get everything into this bag even without utilizing the expansion.

The Amazon price was good too. I found this bag originally in a mall luggage store selling for about $25 more than what I paid.

I got this monster with a matching carry-on. They both DID NOT survive their FIRST trip abroad. The wheels are not strong enough for a 32" suitcase. They both bent like a cheap fork while rolling on a bumpy sidewalk. Too heavy? It was just clothes and toiletries not gold bars and it's 32". It's supposed to be HEAVY! What a piece of crap!!!

The matching carry-on (that they gave me for free) developed a serious zipper issue. It gradually became more difficult to unzip as the trip progressed. The luggage scanner in taiwan actually threatened to cut it open if I couldn't get it unzipped. So, in this case, free = crap.

Verdict: I actually love love love their backpacker gear. But this suitcase and matching carry-on are total crap. I guarantee you the wheels will break on this 32" mother if you fill it to capacity. The zipper may or may not get stuck on your carry-on but do you really want to risk a cavity search from an angry TSA.

Wildkin Parrot Green Macropak Backpack - Monogram version

Wildkin Parrot Green Macropak Backpack - Monogram versionThis backpack is roomy and looks well buit. It also seems to be sturdy (will update after some use). It comes with a slot for ID tag inside the front part. I like the color for boys (I have two). The matching lunch boxes from wildkin come in the "fern green" color. The name is different, but it is the same color as the parrot green backpack, which is good.

Zeroshock III 15-inch Widescreen Notebook Case

Zeroshock III 15-inch Widescreen Notebook CaseI commute by bike and put my laptop in this case before I carry it on my bike.

One night I had to cross a creek to avoid a security guard, and to my horror the creek was waist deep. I thought my laptop was a goner, but the case kept it dry and it worked perfectly when I powered it up to check it. The Zeroshock saved my job.

Another time, I managed to take the impact in the rear. My laptop was not damaged.

I like this case as it is a bit more protective than others out on the market, has a lot of foam inside so my $3500 Macbook Pro Retina seems better protected. The pocket on the outside is nice to carry around some minor wipes and thin items only.

The only issue that is kinda big is that one of the zippers pulled right off. And that is just after occasional use only use this say once every couple weeks and that zipper lasted about 6 months still. :-(

I did some research on sleeve-like cases for my new Vizio 15.6 beauty. In form my computer is very much like the Macbook Pro Retina Display, so pretty thin. I was very much surprised that there are virtually no snug yet protective options for 15.6 computers out there. This case certainly fits the billsnug, protective (with awesome feeling memory foam, not the useless-for-falls neoprene). It is also amazingly fashionable, getting a lot of complements. It's the kind of case you would expect to be aboard an F-35 fighter jet or a space shuttle even. Japanese productwhat do you expect?

I ordered 2one for my sister and one for me.

We both have 2012 15.4 in macbook pros (I do understand that the case was designed for 15 in widescreen computers in general and not just mbp's). The computers fit alright but they aren't sung in the case. Long ways, the mbp has a little less than n inch to give, and short ways, it has a little less than a half inch to give (which means that it's fairly snug). This isn't that big of a deal, however, because the foam pushes snuggly onto the top and bottom of the computer when you zip it up, making it harder for the computer (macbook pro 15, 2012) to slide around. This doesn't mean that it doesn't slide around, but there's one more feature of the case that makes me a little more comfortable with the computer sliding around a little bit: the zipper guard.

There's a sipper guard thing right inside of the zipper that does two things: it guards the computer from getting zipper-scratched and (not sure if it was designed for this specifically but it works) it kind of catches the computer with something softer if the case were to be dropped on one of its corners. I don't know about you, but the reason that I didn't want to buy a neoprene sleeve was because it wouldn't do anything for the computer (except keep it scratch free) if you dropped it, esp. if you dropped it on one of the corners. This case, however, gives me that peace of mind of knowing that if it was dropped while in the case the chances of anything breaking are a lot smaller because the computers protected in all directions. If that makes sense ... :)

I needed a sleeve that would easily fit in a bag and protect my computer from bouncing around. I did some research online and found the Zeroshock III is one of the best sleeves around. Some of the older reviews mention Shinza is the maker. I think Elecom bought them out. I also saw the Zeroshock IV is out, but it is more like a case than a sleeve. So, I eventually settled on the Zeroshock III. It is a difficult sleeve to find. I guess it's because it's only made in Japan. I only could find it on a European site, eBay, and Amazon. Amazon had the best price.

I read that the Zeroshocks are made a little big. I have a 15.6 inch computer. I took a gamble getting this sleeve because even though 15.6" is technically listed compatible with the 17" version, I did not want my computer to slide around in a sleeve that was too big. Well, I received this sleeve and my computer fits perfectly! Actually, my computer is wide, so there is still a little room left in the top. It's okay though, because the bumpy memory foam holds the laptop in place. If your computer is about 5mm larger than listed in the specifications, don't sweat it. It'll fit.

The quality is way better than neoprene. The zippered pocket on the front is pretty much useless. You may be able to put a flash drive in it and a couple cords. Remember, this is a sleeve, not a case, so I don't really care about the pockets, but I thought you might like to know.

Overall, this is an excellent computer sleeve. Buy it! Or, if you want more protection like a hard cover, you can go for the Zeroshock IV!

Everki Versa Premium Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Bag - Briefcase, Upto 17.3-Inch (EKB427BK17)

Everki Versa Premium Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Bag - Briefcase, Upto 17.3-InchI took a chance and ordered this bag. I received it today and am very pleased with the build quality. The workmanship of this bag is in line with the likes of Briggs and Riley and TUMI. The added benefit of this bag is all of the storage it offers. If you are a person who is constantly dealing with too many cords and no where to store them, this bag is a great solution. It even has an iPad compartment. There is literally a place to hold everything. Check out the video of the product on everki.com to see all of the features, it really helped me decide. I travel a lot for work and am looking forward to the checkpoint friendly feature. I travel next week and will update the review if I have any issues. One thing to be aware of. The computer compartment has corner guard protection. This will not be useful if you are using a smaller laptop. This product comes in two sizes, be sure to order the smaller size if you have a 16" or smaller laptop. Unfortunately do to this, I will be returning this size, but I have already ordered the smaller one and am anxiously awaiting its arrival in a few days.

First, some background. I travel on commuter rail over three hours every day, and my bag is essentially my mobile office. So the design and ergonomics of that bag are critical. Also, I'm frequently required to attend various meetings all over NYC, and I end up hauling this on the subway, buses, taxis, and of course walking all over. I also travel by air occasionally, although I haven't since purchasing this bag about a month ago.

So in that last month I've had plenty of opportunities to put this bag to the test. And in every respect, it's passed those tests. It took me about a week to get used to the new system, but since then I have been continually impressed by Everki's thoughtful layout, quality materials, and attention to detail.

The layout system is perfect for my situation. I can easily organize (and therefore locate) everything I need to function on the road. It's really quite impressive how much can fit in here. It can't accommodate large tupperware very easily, but everything else slides in perfectly: 17" laptop with extra battery, files, mouse and other computer peripherals, tablet, wallet, and all the odds and ends you need to make life on the road pleasant.

It's amazing what a difference quality materials make too. The exterior and interior materials are really attractive (love the orange interior), and all zippers and connections are smooth and solid. I was originally looking for an all-leather case, but honestly I find this just as attractive, and it certainly seems like it will hold up over the years much better. Even the handle is more comfortable that other cases I've owned.

Overall, this is a most impressive effort. I researched every bag on the market before choosing this one, and I believe that research paid off. Five well-earned stars.

Just back from a multi-city trip with this new bag replacing a wonderful bag from Briggs and Riley. I'll see over time, of course how the new bag holds up.

What I like:

1. I can put everything that I used to carry in the B&R into this bag and over stuff it. Not everyone will do this, but for pack rats like me that's important. I routinely carry Bose headphones, cases for pens and pencils, journals, a computer, ipad, cords, cables, plugs, peripherals, sometimes an external USB monitor.

2. I like the TSA approved way to flip the case open without having to remove the laptop. Much faster than having to take it out.

3. While the bag is lightweight, it feels like solid construction and the zippers look durable.

4. I like all of the built-in organizers. With my old bags, I had my own pouches for cables, etc. that I just loaded into the central compartment where they all eventually fell to the bottom and wedged together. The built-in organizers take care of this problem and help keep the contents distributed.

5. It fits under the seat in coach. Some of the aisle seats in some aircraft have smaller under-seat slots and for these I do have to remove a few things to get it to fit. But then again, I really load the bag up to capacity. I had to do this with my old bags as well.

6. I have a 12" laptop, not a 17" but it still feels protected in the sleeve.

7. I didn't think I would use or like the iPad compartment built into the case, but I ended up really liking it and using it during the trip.

What I had to work around

1. There is a sleeve on the back of the bag that allows you to slide it over the handles of your wheeled carry-on luggage. It works great with all of my luggage except for my Hartmann bag which has an extra wide handle. The extra wide handle helped keep bags from rotating around the handle while running through ATL or wherever. The Vera's smaller sleeve keeps it from doing that on luggage with narrower handles. If you have a single pole handle, though, you will have problems.

2. I liked the shoulder strap but prefer an old Victorinox shoulder strap for comfort and so replaced it. But the strap it comes with is just fine.

3. Would like to have had a mesh water bottle sleeve on the outside, but I still give the bag five stars without one. It seems like these have fallen out of fashion.

4. The handles have a wrap around piece to snap them together. I'm not fond of these but I just snap it around one of the handles and that's that.

That's it. I'll update after a few more trips on how durable it is.

I purchased this as a replacement for a different brand bag, and I have to say, most laptop bags are fairly similar, with most of what you need.

What I like about this bag:

1. It is clearly quality craftmanship. It just looks and feels well made.

2. The checkpoint friendly isn't unique to this brand, but it definitely was one of my deciding factors. Plus it has a "strap" for putting over the handle of your luggage again, not unique to this brand, but part of the overall decision.

3. The pockets: there is space for everything. There are compartments galore. I have a pocket for every wire and dongle and device and add on. There is also separate space for the attache function, to hold pads and pens and papers.

4. It holds my laptop nice.

What I don't like:

1. It is heavy. Not surprising for a bag this side, but I had to find something to quibble over.

I know this doesn't seem like a glowing review, but I do give it 5 stars. We're talking about laptop bags, after all, it is hard to wax poetic. There is just "something" about this bag that makes it better than the others I have owned in the world of laptop bags, it is 5 stars.

TAMRAC 4372/RED BACKPACK

TAMRAC 4372/RED BACKPACKI bought this bag for my Nikon D200 with the 18-200mm and the 50mm f1.8 lenses and I also have a Sb800 flash. They all fit perfectly in this bag and I love it because it is a backpack and less noticeable than lugging around some case by hand. It has velcro adjustments inside and you can keep your lens on while its in the bag, reducing the amount of dust that gets onto your sensor. I reccommend this bag! I'm a woman and I think its just the cutest thing!

Samsonite Tectonic Large Backpack

Samsonite Techtonic Large Backpack, Black, One SizeThis is a fabulous backpack which I got, assuming it would fit my 17" Gateway Laptop because of it's dimensions. At first. it was a "no-go" fitting my laptop in it. Then I found if I took off the slightly protruding battery pack, I could barely zipper the computer into it's compartment. After taking it on a trip, it must have stretched the compartment a bit and now the zipper closes without a serous struggle. The zipper is still very tight against the laptop at the top corners and would probably either fail or not protect the laptop well if you whacked something at that relatively unlikely place.

As soon as you get the backpack, there is a tag on it that says it is for laptops up to 16" and that is what I would recommend.

There are so many pockets in this thing that you may find you forgot where you put each gizmo unless you use it a lot. Many of the pockets are zippered. Some of the critical zippers are " self-healing", another good thing. There are nice back comfort pads in the right places.

In short, it is an amazing backpack and for that reason, I will not deduct a star in spite of the Amazon person that did not adequately describe it.

good quality

lots of compartments

large is really large (I would choose medium one I guess)

only negative thing is bottom side of laptop compartment is very thin.

I replaced an old, worn-out, standard Jansport backpack with this one. So this is a huge upgrade for me.

I've only worn the backpack a couple times and I already like it a lot. It's a BEAST. It accommodates my Sony VAIO laptop (16.4") perfectly well, even with the large battery that protrudes from the bottom a couple of inches. PLENTY of padding in the laptop compartment as well as on the outside that rests against your back. The straps are rather large but comfortable. I can barely feel the weight of the bag when I put it on.

There are many pockets and pouches inside and outside of the bag. I can fit a small umbrella perfectly in one of the side pockets. The small pocket in the front (at the bottom) is highly padded... a cell phone would work nicely in there.

My wife and I are in Europe studying abroad for a year. Before we left, we decided to purchase new backpacks. I've always had Samsonite so I purchased the Large Samsonite Tectonic and my wife likes Swiss Gear, so she got their Maxxum one.

Maxxum Swiss Gear by Wenger Notebook Backpack Blue

We've had them now for about 3 months of light/medium traveling, and I wish I would have gone with the Maxxum. This Samsonite backpack is just not the quality I expected.

The first problem is that the shoulder strap threading has unraveled, thus leaving about a 4-inch hole where you can see the two foam pads in it. After three months of not even continuous use, I was surprised by this rip. The Maxxum's shoulder pads aren't as padded but they are staying together.

The other problem is that the zippers do not stay together well (especially to the main compartment). The teeth are large and I'd guess that about 4 or 5 times now, my main compartment has fallen open while I am walking and some of my stuff spills out. The fix for this is to make sure the zippers are together on one of the sides, where they seem to not want to pull apart. The Maxxum has tighter teeth, and feel more stable.

I give this backpack 3 starts because it is a good fit with my 13-inch laptop and I like the overall padding comfort, pocket layout, and design. Yet, there are just a couple of small annoying things (like having to sew a shoulder pad and zip up on the side) that prevent it from scoring better. The Samsonite website says "This bag can take it. Samsonite tough." and I was hoping for a little more durable backpack.

Make sure you pick the 17" option if your laptop is that size or it won't fit like the others here are saying. I did pick that option and have NEVER been disappointed for one, single, second. The over-sized zippers are tough-as-nails, the material of the pack itself is an impenetrable rugged gortex-like substance that is water-proof (I've had it in the rain with Notebook in it!!), and simply cannot be beat. The many, many pockets are useful for your average student (college or not--in my case grad school). The adjustable straps are well, WELL cushioned beyond any other pack I've ever seen, the back-side cushions are all about a full inch thick of comfortable padding that just cannot tear because they are covered in the same tough pack material the rest of it is in. The handle at the top lets you carry in-hand if you want to give your shoulders a break and that is also made of that tough, gortex-like material and its about 2 inches thick! It has two primary compartments--one for books, etc., and the other for your laptop, and the Laptop area has enough room for my 17" HP monster (17" screen; 1 TB HD). The pockets on either side are large enough for 20 oz sodas (which I take with me to the library), and again, even if they spill or leak, the material does not allow it to seep into the pack, keeping your items and Laptop dry.

This pack is the ultimate for your money. Now be careful, sears sells these for $200 bucks, and that's a rip off. I got mine for about $50 here and have never been happier for having spent it. There is just simply nothing bad to say--its tough, plenty of room, comfortable, affordable, great design, if you carry any laptop around you simply need this pack. Period.

New! Rugged Hydration Sling Bag for when you're on the Trail or just on the Go

New! Rugged Hydration Sling Bag for when you're on the Trail or just on the GoI was looking for a small bag that I can use while riding my motorcycle. This bag caught my eye because I'm retire military so I like the look. I do have some issues, I has open mesh pocket that I don't like, I wish it had something to close it and worry about my thing flying out. It can use more patting.

This is a small bag and it is made of very good material. This bag also has many compartments and will fit many needs. I took this bag on my last tripe to Asia and I carried my Ipad in the inside compartment and I had to stripe my Mac Pro 15" to the outside with the cross stripe but it worked.

I bought a sling bag for my bike ride to and from work. It carried my uniform, wallet, keys, ipod, phone, and charger with no room for anything else. It may seem like a lot but it really isn't has lots of pockets but not very deep. After 3 days of use the carabiner broke, two days after that the stitching that held the elastic cord that sercured the webbing of the exterior pocket came loose making it useless. The straps also had a tendency to loosen as I rode. I really wanted to like this backpack but it continued to frustrate me and I ended up buying a different backpack.

Want New! Rugged Hydration Sling Bag for when you're on the Trail or just on the Go Discount?

I purchased the Everest Sporty Hydration Sling Bag for an upcoming trip to Disneyland. I wanted something lightweight, comfortable, sleek and minimalist and this big fits the bill perfectly. The hydration aspect of the bag was just an added bonus as days at Disneyland can be very long and hot. Keep in mind that the bag doesn't come with the bladder, but they can be found at most major retailers.

The bag is minimal in size but has enough room for all the essentials of the day. The look of the bag is fairly masculine (which I like) and is clearly military inspired. The M.O.L.L.E. system on the bag makes it very adaptable as accessories can be added as you see fit. The shoulder strap is comfortable and breathable and has a side release buckle for easy removal. I did have an issue with some stitching coming undone from the shoulder strap portion that is meant to secure the hose for the bladder, but there are several other straps remaining to secure it. The design of the shoulder strap allows you to only wear the pack over one shoulder and across your chest (meaning you can't switch shoulders) which may be a problem during extended use as far as comfort is concerned.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this pack and will edit this post after putting it through its paces at the happiest place on earth and let you know how it held up.

**After only a couple of days of light use, I would change my opinion and advise you not to buy this. The poor quality of this bag became very apparent as much of the stitching came undone, especially on the shoulder strap. The majority of the straps which are designed to retain the tube from your hydration bladder, completely came undone as all of their stitching pulled out. This bag may suit your needs but I see it ending up in my next garage sale.**

Rothco Move Out Tactical Bag

Move Out Bag / Backpack - CoyoteJust got this bag the other day and have to say I am highly pleased with it. Never bought a bag beyond your basic backpack and had looked over several different BOBs and had choose this one because of the 900 Denier Polyester. Bag seems very well made and durable with lots of compartments. There is even a hidden zippered one in the bottom of one of the main ones. On the first day I converted it to an over the shoulder/messenger style and was able to tuck the backpack straps in. The next day I had a hard time converting it back to a backpack for I had trouble finding those same backpack straps... that was a nice surprise for they tuck in and hide very well.

Ordered to be used as a week-long bag, and got what I hoped for. Not a thing wrong with the quality of build, fabric, or size. I didn't want to keep using my old 'roller suitcase', and opted to get this bag. Being ex-Army, I was hoping for something that would hold up as good as my old 'rucksack'. This is a million-times better. The many pockets, expansion options, heavy-duty fabric, heavy-duty zippers and stitching, make my old equipment pale in comparison. This is also better than the one I looked at when I went to a high-end surplus store. (and less-expensive, to boot) Can be carried with simple shoulder strap provided, carry strap on top and side, and also has shoulder and waist/kidney straps if you wish to carry it like a backpack (they can be tucked and hidden so they won't be in the way). It can expand in depth if you need more space, and has more than enough room if you need it. I can give this pack a five-star review with confidence, because I am more than pleased with it!! Have a good one!!

The gym lockers can be so small and narrow. This awesome bag fits perfectly in the lockers. It has inside compartments to help me be organized with my gym essentials. This bag has much more room than I expected. For the size, it really carries a lot of stuff. Love love love this bag!

I take this bag with me everyday from home to work to the gym. I love it, although it is a little small. I try to put about 2 gym (light) outfits and my tennis shoes and they fit perfect. However, over the winter when I wear boots they do not fit in the bag! :( that would be my only downfall for this bag. it has plenty of compartments and i love the materialyou don't have to worry about it getting dirty.

okay so i just got the bag today. it came on my door 8 days after ordering it. i think it took that long because of the Colorado black forest fire, so it was understandable. The bag looks great. it looks exactly as it was on the photo. my only problem is that it looks too big for me (i'm only 5'0). aside from that, i still love it. yes!

High Sierra Impact Backpack

High Sierra Impact BackpackI researched many bags and their cubic measurements to ensure I was buying a backpack for my kindergartner that was larger than a toddler or pre-school sized bag, and could hold a folder and his lunch carrier plus a sweater. Size-wise this backpack is great and I think it will work for at least a year or two. However, buyers beware that the actual color combo of the bag we received is orange and grey, not red. Fortunately, that is a combination I prefer, so we had no issues. But if you're looking for a red backpack this most definitely is not it.

Review amended after three weeks of use: We are still happy with the size, weight and look of this bag, but two weeks into use, the stitching that connects one of the straps at the shoulder is coming undone. Fingers crossed it can survive the school year!

I bought this backpack to use as a personal carryon on airlines. It is small enought to not be a carryon and get charged for it. Air lines are now charging for a larger carry on. It easily fits in their boxes for carry on personal items. I could also use it as a back pack if I needed one.

I bought this for my daughters emergency to go bag. It works perfectly. I wish it was a tad bit larger.

We purchased one of these for each of our 3 kids to use as day packs when out hiking. They all really like them and the size is fine for a change of clothes, extra socks, sunblock, hand sanitizer, emergency blanket, journal, and food/snacks/etc. We like the highly visible "hunter don't shoot" red/orange color. We've been using them a lot for several weeks now and the zippers are all holding up fine. I don't know how long they will last, but at this price if they make it through the summer at this level of use, I'll be happy.

My daughter loves this backpack. It's dimensions were big enough to accommodate her large binders. It seems to be sturdy and of good quality.

CLEARANCE Vibrant Crocheted Backpack with Beaded TrimThis purse is awesome. It appears to be made well and is summery with the beading. It is small but the right size for me. It will be good to use on the airplane, shopping trips, and times when you do not need to carry a heavy purse.

Incipio MacBook 13-inch White Unibody feather Ultralight Hard Shell Case - Purple

Incipio MacBook 13-inch White Unibody feather Ultralight Hard Shell Case - PurpleI've tried out many different cases for my Macbook (note this is for the white unibody Macbook, not the pro), and most of them are too bulky, or don't snap on correctly. I took a chance ordering this one by Incipio, and I'm incredibly happy with it. It snaps on with ease, and can be removed just as easy. In the past I've bought generic cases, and Speck cases, all of which I've struggled with to get to snap on properly, so I was really happy with how nicely this one went on. It's very thin, but so far seems quite durable. I mainly bought this to protect my laptop from dirt and minor scratches, and I feel like I have a winner with this one. I don't think it would be great protection if I dropped my laptop off of a table, or anything like that, so if you're looking for something along those lines, this may not be enough.

When first opening the box, I was disappointed to see that the color is not accurate to its picture. It is much less vibrant and less pink-toned than pictured. While it is not the color I was looking for, I will admit that it is a handsome case. Unfortunately, when I put it on my computer, I was unhappy to see that it blocked off the laptop's headphone jack/hole. Looks like I have to return it and start my laptop case search over...

Looks great, but unfortunately could not get the screen cover on all the way. I got all the pins except for one. No matter how many times I took it off and put it on, ended up bending the unibody of my MacBook and breaking a nail. Sent in for a refund... Overpriced. Not worth $20. Maybe my unit was defective but decided not to try again.

A great protection case for this specific Macbook model. No problems putting it on at all, it fits my computer perfectly. Nice smooth surface and blends well with the open keyboard area of the Macbook.

Recommend highly for owners of the White Unibody styled Macbooks.

Rockland Melbourne 3 Piece ABS Luggage Set

Rockland Melbourne 3 Piece ABS Luggage SetThey're so easy to maneuver. I'm clumsy so I dropped them and dragged them by accident a few times and they always held up. With these 3 pieces and a purse, I managed to make it out of the airport with no help, which I loved! Great quality, I just wish (like with most suitcases) that the handles weren't so loose/lightweight compared to the case.

Targus Spruce EcoSmart Backpack Case Designed for 15.6 Inch Widescreen Laptops TBB013US (Black)

Targus Spruce EcoSmart Backpack Case Designed for 15.6 Inch Widescreen Laptops TBB013USI ordered this bag for my iPad 2 wanting a bag that would give it better protection while I carried it from place to place. I also wanted pockets and places to put pens, the charger, and other things that I would like to carry with it. I thought this bag would do just that from what I saw, so I ordered it. When I received it, I opened it up with anticipation. I checked it out thoroughly, and was satisfied. It wasn't until after I went to put my iPad in it as well as everything else that I realized I was impressed. My iPad fit perfectly and the pocket made for it kept it snugly in place. Not only is there enough room for my iPad in the main pocket, but there was plenty of space to put a paperback novel in there as well. I also found plenty of space for the charger as well as pens, and other small accessories. The overall quality of the bag is very good. It seems to be made to last. I'm confident that my iPad 2 is safe in this bag. I love Targus, and have used their bags for laptops in the past, so I was sure this bag would be made with the same quality. I was not disappointed. I was actually impressed how well thought out this bag is, and I know it'll serve its purpose. :)

I bought this bag for use in college with my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I'm an engineering major and need my laptop with me about 90% of the time, and this bag fit the requirements almost perfectly. Able to store laptop, one textbook, one 2" binder, graphing calculator, calipers, safety glasses, various pens, smaller notebook. Wish I could fit another textbook so I didn't have to go back to my car, but that is not a reflection of this product, I should have looked into that. Recycled material is very strong and all stitching seems great so far. Good compartments for cables/USB devices too. Well-padded laptop compartment fits well and closes with a velcro strap across the top. As comfortable as a laptop pack can be, though I'm used to heavy loads. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I would highly recommend this bag. I've had it for a while now, and its very solid and has plenty of space. Often i'll keep my 15.6 laptop, a stack of papers, a couple of books and the charger and mouse. There is still plenty of room for more in the front pockets though.

It has nice lines and looks sporty compared to most bags. The strap is very comfortable too; well padded and fitted nicely.

The only reason i take away a star is because the strap harness squeaks when i walk. I'm sure i could fix this with some oil but I'm too lazy.

Nice bag that fits my ipad (or a netbook) snug in a seperate compartment. there is room in the outside compartment where i put my charger, a usb drive, pen and 3/4 size notebook. The outside has a zipper where i drop my ipbone in when traveling through the airport. Overall a good back and you get that ecofriendly feel. No real 'concerns', but if i had to say anything, the shoulder strap slides a bit and when you clip the front flap it doesn't go as easy as others. That being said, I am very happy with this and will be using it for a long time. No need to take my laptop on short trips when my ipad can now accompany me and do the trick. recommended.

I liked this bag very much. Its very strong and the upper handle is attached to the straps so it has less chances of getting torn. The thing that I didn't like about the bag is that it doesn't open too much. And gets full by just putting a laptop and 2-3 files. I cannot fill in lots and lots of stuff in it like my previous bag, which ultimately gave away as I brought 10 kgs. of stuff in it.

Vespa Men's VP105567 Backpack

Vespa Men's VP105567 Backpack,Brown,One SizeMost people will buy this for the VESPA scooter name. This is a very narrow pack, with only tiny storage space. Also, it has many little tiny compartments inside. It might be a good purse replacement! If the price was very low, I'd rate it 3-stars, but one is paying for the name.

Sprayground Hello My Name Is Red Backpack

Sprayground Hello My Name Is Red BackpackThis backpack is very durable and can survive the school lockers. My child is hard on backpacks but I believe he has met his match with this one. It was worth the price and will be around for another school year.

AXO 29101-02-000 Red Commuter Backpack

AXO 29101-02-000 Red Commuter BackpackThis is a great deal. It was only $25 when I bought it.

This backpack is pretty spacious. The only thing is that when I put a helmet in it, there is no more room to put anything else in. Can fit plenty as long as you don't carry an extra helmet for someone. Its nice to have a latch to connect straps so they dont slip off. Material isn't too thick but seems durable. This seems to be a great commuter backpack.

I recently bought a new Honda NC700XD motorcycle and needed a way to haul some extra stuff. The front 'trunk' of the bike holds my (lg) HCI modular helmet, or a gallon of milk with a few other goodies, or a six-pack, etc. But sometimes I need to carry more or larger items, so I decided to get a backpack for now, and maybe some actual motorcycle luggage at a later date. Doing some research, I found that there are few backpacks that have the capacity to hold a helmet, and none other than this one that sell for such a low price. The fact that this will hold my helmet is not a big deal for me, but I translated that into "it has lots of room", and I was right.

A big consideration for me was 'is this large enough to hold LP record albums?' since going to used record stores and collecting vinyl is my hobby. Well, I went yesterday and bought three albums which easily fit; there is plenty of room side-to-side and top-to-bottom, but some care must be taken not to bend the albums, especially when putting the backpack on. (Record album covers measure about 12.5 inches square.) Now I find it much more satisfying (and fun, and that is the bottom line) to hop on my bike for album or light grocery shopping rather than cranking up the four wheeled guzzler.

PRO's:

...About the cheapest DECENT backpack you will find.

...Lots of room inside, with no internal spacers or pockets to take up space.

...Has a large zippered main compartment, smaller zippered outside back pocket, and water bottle pockets on each side.

...Padded shoulder straps are comfortable and adjust from petite to very large (I weigh 225 lbs and the straps still have about 6 inches of slack to adjust them larger). The chest strap also has plenty of room for length adjustment and can also be adjusted up or down on the shoulder straps.

...Double stitched for reinforcement at stress points.

...Made of polyester, the inside surface of the material has a rubber-like coating, leading me to believe it will be weatherproof up to a point.

CON's:

...No internal spacers or compartments for computer, phone, etc.

...No padding or other inserts to retain shape when empty, although the main straps and the section that sits against my back are padded.

...No belly strap, might be a con for some. (Has chest strap.)

...Zippers are a little stubborn to open/close and don't appear overly robust.

...Gaudy, with bright colors and large logos (not necessarily a con for motorcyclists who want to be seen by cage drivers, or a youngster who likes the design, but I'm 63 for crisake).

Considering the PRO's, CON's, practicality, and price, I will easily recommend this for moderate duty use.

Deuter Giga Office

Deuter Giga Office Pack: Anthracite/BlackI work out of this backpack on film sets and am often carrying heavy and diverse loads including my laptop, paperwork, cameras, etc.

After looking at backpacks online and in shops for weeks, I picked this one and haven't been disappointed.

The reasons I bought this over other laptop backpacks:

great, super defensive laptop compartment that fits pretty much any laptop (I use a 15.4" Macbook Pro will fit 17" laptops as well)

two water bottle/misc pockets

two compression straps on each side

heavy duty zippers (I would be shocked if they break!)

extremely comfortable shoulder straps and good load management. All around solid construction.

a variety of internal organization

That said, this is not my all-purpose travel backpack. For that, I use a pack that has a little more raw capacity. This is more compartmentalized and work-oriented than I generally prefer for weekend trips sans laptop. Plus, I don't want to beat it up in plain old transit I want to keep this thing around for work for a while to come!

Recommended.

I use this backpack for my job as a home health nurse, and I LOVE it! I bought it to replace the AWFUL roller bag that is standard issue in my company because I quickly got tired of trying to steer the roller bag.

The Giga Office has all the pockets I need! One for my laptop and a folder for a few papers I most commonly need, one for not often used and/or clean medical supplies, one for frequently used supplies (blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, etc, and even a little pocket for me to stash my keys, wallet, and pens when I go in to see a patient! Plus the mesh pockets on the side are perfect! I have my CPR mask kit in one and a pump bottle of hand sanitizer in the other!

It's a great bag. Definitely durable and really comfortable to wear with nicely padded straps! I highly recommend it.

Exterior bag is a bit small, but mildly water-proof and is very useful for packing raincoats. The notebook segment provides excellent protection. Feels light on the shoulder, and cool on the back with the frame. Additional pocket inside keeps document from wriggling. Hand-carry holder at the top is cleverly designed so that it doesn't deform the bag. Excellent overall.

This backpack is very good. Its a little bit expensive, but the price reflects its quality. It has many compartments including one for laptop which offers a lot of protection. It isn't the lightest backpack out there but that's because it is made out of good material. Its practical for school, office, and traveling. I believe this backpack will last for a very long time!

I have been using this backpack at work for a few years now and I love it. I use it almost every day for EDC (Every Day Carry) use. This is a great mobile office bag and does exactly what it says, it's a giga-office! I found this gem at a backpacking / hiking store and needed something specifically for work. I am so glad I found it, the great thing is that when I have my suff in it it stands upright without falling over. I have taken this pack as my 2nd carry-on on many airplane flights. I am sometimes in the office, in a factory or out on the road.

My only complaint is the smallest pocket does not zip down all the way to access some of the flaps and other pockets which can be difficult to reach. They should make the zippers an inch or two longer on the sides of the small compartment. I still give it 5 stars becuase I have another backpack that unzips fully, and then all your stuff falls out! The zippers work great and are very smooth, snag-freee and have "storm flaps" that cover them. When using in hot weather, the venting works pretty good. The fabric seems tough and medium duty. This is a high quality bag for the price, I have seen many in the same price range that are not as good or not very well made. I own 4-5 backpacks for various activities and this one works awesome for the office. This is a great backpack for everyday use in an urban / office envirenment.
