Item came and was exactly as pictured. My nephew loved it and all was well in the kingdom! lol Great Experience!I used to hate back to school shopping, because backpack choices were either trendy but poorly made or extremely expensive. My son found this backpack at Amazon and liked it for it's "cool" factor. It was only $38 which was still considerably less than I have paid for quality backpacks (Jansport, LL Bean, Swiss Gear). My son has been using it for 6 months and it has not ripped or shown wear at the seams or zippers. He is in 8th grade, so he is carrying a lot of books in this pack. He is also 14, so he throws it around and is not particular about how he treats it. I am happy that this pack will last the entire year and I didn't have to fork out $50 or more for it. With the " cool" factor, he may even be ok with using it next year!my son loves Neff. i was going to get him the typical Jansport , but for the price / design i went with this and would not hesitate to buy anotherTimbuk2 Women's Skylark Tote

I gave this to my wife for Mother's Day and she loves it! It's especially great for when we travel, with lots of room for her items and our son's. She especially likes the ability to convert the bag into a backpack for when she needs both hands free. If you're looking for a bag with form and function and like the design of this one, then look no further.Yimbuk 2 makes a great product. This bag has lots of room but doesn't feel to bulky. The bag itself weighs aton empty...nevermind when I load my belongings into it. Not at all what I expected from this notable company. Sorry to say but I had to return the backpack...very disappointed.Rothco Move Out Tactical BagSamsonite Luggage Pro 3 Laptop Backpack
The zipper sewn into the laptop bag was sewn on in the reverse direction, so you actually have to remove the bag entirely from the backpack in order to open it up enough at one end to insert/remove the laptop.
The Velcro piece which is supposed to hold closed the rear rolling luggage extension handle pocket was not sewn on properly and came right off when I slipped my hand down into that area to see how wide it was (although that's not a real problem, just a slip-up in quality control).
The compartments are somewhat strangely configured and sized and not having a lighter, contrasting color in the small objects organizer pocket is, in my opinion, not the best choice.
Otherwise, this bag is attractive, light and seems to be very well made and sturdy, although I will not use it but rather send it back immediately.Love the material, design, and quality. Don't like the fact that the open area from the back, that links it to other wheeled suitcases is too narrow and wouldn't let most handles go through, even those of the Samsonite luggages! The bag is a bit too heavy in general, and the fact that it's big and can carry a lot, makes it feel as if you're carrying the world on your shoulders! And finally, does't have those plastic base stands in the bottom, so it usually falls off when you put it on the floor.

The backpack is really well quality but the photo shows the item much smallerand the leight and height mesures are only inches not cm.
I was expecting a better explanation in amazon for the product to prevent any miscommunicationSamsonite used to make a quality product, but if this bag is any indication, those days are long gone. It's asymmetrical: the stitching is so flawed that its misshape can be noted across a room. The hardware is plastic of the weakest kind: even my light-duty use managed to snap one of the strap buckles the first week. Finally, it's poorly designed; why would Samsonite put the zipper on the interior laptop bag facing in a direction that requires you to completely unzip it all around in order to extract the laptop? And the suitcase slot on the back is too thin to allow any handle through. And the pockets lack organization. I could go on, but hopefully you've gotten the picture. Poor on all fronts, this backpack is unquestionably the worst deal in the work backpack market.

The material is waterproof, so it's ok to ride in the rain.
The only downside is the belly strap that is very thin, and don't help much.
Definitely recommend.

I was a bit concerned about the bands holding the cover of the MBA getting worn out, but they appear very sturdy and don't look like they will stretch out easily. I have received nothing but compliments from friends about the case and many wish their was a version for their iPad and iPod. So far the item was well worth the price I paid.
One small thing was that as a mac person who loves my little mac apple logo, I kinda wish they had cut out the apple logo in the cover....but it is not a deal breaker. I actually like the fact that this product when closed looks like a nice little folio instead of a computer and makes it less of a temptation for someone to steal and that is a concern for me.
I would recommend this with out hesitation and maybe the company can offer a few more colors in the same product.I was blown away by the quality and feel of this case. It is built extremely well and the quality of the faux leather doesn't feel cheap at all. Most importantly, for the price, this is truly an amazing case. I just bought a new MBA and was searching for a leather portfolio like case.. I found some that are extremely expensive, over $150 $200. I kept searching and found this particular case from Amazon. Based on the positive reviews from other buyers, I decided to take the plunge. I am glad I did... I also love the faux suede on the palm rest area... No regret here..

I knew this was a faux leather cover when ordering and it is a fairly nice cover and very functional with the MacBook Air however I wouldn't mind paying a little more for just a tad better material or maybe a lot more for actual full leather. Great design, not too heavy and the concept is certainly there, plus you can't beat the price for "basic" coverage of your MBA. It will be interesting to see how it stands up to wear and tear over time but you can't go wrong for dressing up your laptop and protecting it from scratches, etc...Read Best Reviews of CaseCrown Book Cover Clip On Case (Black) for 13 Inch Apple MacBook Air Here

Briggs & Riley 17 Inch Executive Expandable Rolling Briefcase
Two things that bear mention. First, I have an HP 17.3 inch computer, not a 17 inch. I read on another website that my laptop would not fit this bag, and at first, I believed it. But I wanted to find out so I went to a retailer and tried it out. It fit perfectly. There was no stress on seams, no forcing, it was a perfect fit.
Second, the reason I have 11 Briggs bags is that I use them and once in a great while they get damaged. I once had an 8 year-old Briggs garment bag totally destroyed by an airline. The bag was so mangled that everything in it was dumped into two of those big tubs and the pieces of the bag ino a third tub. I sent the pieces to Briggs and in a week, I had a new bag. Other times, it has been a wheel, or a zipper or a handle, and every stinkin' time it has been fixed at no cost and returned to me with a smile. No BS, no hassles, no "yeah, but...". They just honor their warranty. I read about other bag's "Limited Lifetime Warrenty" and the forums are filled with stories of how that manufacturer didn't honor it because of something in the fine print. Briggs honors their warranty.
In short, it is a great bag made by a great company. You'll never go wrong with Briggs and Riley. I had seen this brand around for a while but always snubbed my nose at it and deferred to Tumi or Andiamo. But since my Andiamo's zipper failed and I was in need of a LARGE briefcase on wheels,(and learned Andiamo was defunct and out of business) I checked this one out at the recommendation of a salesperson at a luggage store in my local area. The prospect of spending close to $400 (MSRP is $389) was daunting and unappealing, yet comparing this piece to the Tumi at $675 made for an easy decision.
The Briggs & Riley wins out HANDS DOWN in terms of intelligence of design, attention to detail, construction and size, and stacks up nicely when it comes to style. While I have yet to take it on the road I find that this case easily manages to accommodate all of the gear we road warriors travel with, and I in particular travel with a lot: laptop, two iPhones, a Blackberry, a Tom Tom, lots of files and folders, 3 ring binder, pens and markers, car chargers for the two phones you name it. It has a perfect space for everything one might need and looks sharp as well. Oh, and by the way, you've gotta love the lifetime warranty! And their business philosophy is right up my alley, and you can check it out here:
At $389, I find this piece os worth every penny of it. Construction is first rate, style is understated hip, functionality supreme. This case rocks!

Minuses: space capacity not as good as other backpacks, handle retraction not very smooth.I just purchased on 7/24/2007 for the 2007-2008 school year and already the handle on the bag is broken. I like the material and the straps, but this shouldn't be happening already.

An excellent, very sturdy, fairly light-weight bag, for either wheels or backpack. It looks like it's made of a truly tough material, has a couple of front zippered pockets a smallish one for large iPod-type objects, and a really large one with inner pockets and flaps and pencil-holders sketchbooks, folders, magazines, etc probably even a small laptop. And the main compartment is, of course, huge easily stores a few days' clothes and toiletries, plus odds & ends has a couple of good-size inner pockets also. Sturdy telescoping handle (mechanism takes up a small amount of space on the back surface of the large compartment.) Sturdy-looking wheels. Just got back from a trip to the Mainland with this bag as carry-on oh, yes, there's also a good-size outside pocket on the back for magazines and last-minute purchases (water bottle, newspaper, book etc...)A fantastic buy, IMHO!

This bag held up well travelling as a rolling carryon on a medium-length trip with a plane change, 3 other carryons, a car seat and a baby. So you can guess it got a little abuse on the trip, but it held up fine. No problems with the single strut handle or the wheels. It never once did that annoying flip/roll that my carryons sometimes do.I didn't think I'd like the way the laptop is contained in the bag: the pocket is in the front flap instead of the back of the bag. But it worked just fine and my fears of the laptop slipping out when I opened the bag were unfounded. I have a big, heavy 17" Toshiba monster and it fit perfectly, along with all my other equipment.
The only complaint I would have is that with the weight of the bag, computer and accessories, I did not even attempt to use it as a backpack and I'm not sure I ever would.

I bought this bag for my last two semesters in college. After I bought my laptop, and put heavy textbooks in a regular backpack, carrying the backpack around was really taking a toll on my back. So after i purchased this bag, my back pain was relieved because its on wheels. The only thing I would improve about this bag is make it out of waterproof material for when it rains.
Rapiddominance Classic Military Messenger Bags
-Inside Pockets-
There is one roomy interior compartment that easily fits my 15" laptop and a variety of other items (charging cable, travel mouse, tablet, my checkbook wallet). It probably won't fit a laptop much (if any) larger than that, because the zip closure at the top is just a little smaller than the interior pocket, so you have to angle the laptop just a little to get it in (if you have one of those tiny USB extensions for a travel mouse that are flush to the laptop -the kind that are meant to stay in the USB port at all times -beware that it can hang on the zipper and get yanked out if you aren't careful about sliding your laptop in). I could pack a lot more items into this compartment than I have been, as it is quite decently sized. There is no included liner for a laptop or tablet.
There is also a zippered pocket on the back interior of the bag that is deep enough to hold a small makeup bag with the barest of female essentials (pads and tampons, lipstick, powder, a travel hairbrush), but not much else. I feel like this pocket would be more useful if it was a lot larger. It strikes me as a place you're meant to toss extra keys or change, but there is a lot of wasted interior space (if you're like me, anyway, and don't like everything rattling around loose in your bag).
-Outside Pockets-
There are two very roomy, zippered bubble pockets on the front, that are revealed when the purse flap is pulled up (as if you are accessing the main compartment). These are fantastic and massively proportioned (I typically keep my smartphone, glasses case, a pistol, a full-size multitool, and a variety of other items in the pockets, with room to spare).
On each end is a pocket that is probably meant for a water bottle, but they are built so flush with the bag that, when a laptop is inside the main compartment, it doesn't allow for anything rounded to fit. I feel like this is a poorly designed part of this bag -these pockets really should have bubbled out like the front two, so you could stick a water bottle in it when there is something wide on the inside. As it is, I use one side to store a knife and taser, and the other side to store clipped pens. The pockets are deep, but they are so flat that they are really not good for much else.
Curiously, inside each of these pockets (maybe 1/3 the way down, on the wall connected to the main interior compartment of the bag) is a canvas loop with the male part of a snap button stitched onto the outside of the loop. The female part of the snap is on the opposite wall. They are so far down that I can't imagine they are meant to close these pockets, and I really have no idea what they are useful for. Because the bag lacks any decent place you can clip keys to (if you use a carabiner or eye bolt snap key hook), I just attached a large split ring to one of these loops and am using it for my key snap place instead. Keeps the keys from falling down into the depths of the pocket, but hides them from view.
On the back, accessible when the flap is closed, is a long, flat pocket that runs flush with the length of the back of the purse. Because I carry my laptop in the main interior compartment, this keeps this pocket pretty flat, so it is only useful to me for a legal pad, or as an occasional place to quickly stuff my tablet.
-Construction-
The outside flap is very large, and has velcro hooks on the underside. One large velcro loop pad is on the middle of each exterior bubble pocket, to catch the flap at a variety of bag widths (so if it's very full, you can still close it).
The strap is wide and heavy, sewn to the bag at one end and attached via a brass buckle at the other end. It is a long enough strap that it is adjustable to suit any torso size, to lay along the body at whatever height is preferred (thigh, hip, waist, right up under your arm, whatever).
The outside is heavy olive green cotton canvas, the inside lining is polyester in the same color. Both are very durably made. Heavy stitching, heavy fabric, heavy zippers. I've been tossing this thing around for over a month with nary even the slightest signs of wear. There are a couple places that had flyaway threads, but that's just from not cutting them off closely enough during the sewing process, and a pair of scissors fixed that right up.
-Complaints-
I really wish there was some kind of key ring stitched into the main interior compartment. There is enough room at the top edge for it. Alternately, it could go under the large main flap somewhere, or on one side above the water bottle pockets. I'm considering adding this myself.
The outside side pockets aren't quite wide enough for a 20 oz water bottle to be inserted into if a 15" laptop is on the inside (this, in my opinion, is the only major failure of the bag). The loops and snap buttons inside them are a little odd, but useful if you improvise.
The zippered pocket inside the main interior compartment is too small to be useful to me. It could be improved either by making it larger, or by including two side-by-side interior pockets of the same size, rather than the one in the middle. There is plenty of room for it.
-Overall-
Large, durable bag. It isn't really designed to carry a laptop, but it'll tide me over until I find something that's perfect. For people who don't carry a lot of stuff, or who have a smaller laptop (like a netbook, or combined tablet/keyboard), this is probably as close to the ideal as you can get in this price range. This is a nice solid bag. Has zippers on all the pockets. Side pouches big enough for my liter water bottle. Seems durable. Like the color. the strap is a little uncomfortable to carry for a while. Wish it was a little bigger.

This bag is military grade canvas. It is a quality bag that could serve many different purposes, from laptop, to travel, to ammo pouch and so on. I would definitely buy this product again. Three stars. Not bad, just average. Good quality canvas makes the exterior rugged, and even if you manage to get a tear or a good scrape here or there, it only makes it look better.Center compartment is roomy, holds plenty of stuff (macbook, two notebooks, charger, Xbox controller, headset, and more), two front pockets are pretty roomy as well. Side pockets can hold larger bottles pretty easily, and the loop that the snap is attached to makes opening and closing the compartment, well...a snap.
Not that durable on the inside. The stitching in the interior zippered pocket is giving way after a few weeks, and the stitching on the inside edge of the outer flap wasn't done well. The canvas has begun to separate from the edge. Nothing that can't be fixed, but there's no reason why I should have to fix it so soon.
For the price, it's a good bag. Just not the best.

So, I bought this because I get a small duffel bag (it about 16" x 10") every Cigarfest show I attend, and after I empty it of cigars, it is handy for traveling with gadgets and smaller items. The problem is that the center main section of this little bag has no compartments or organization, and the interior is black, so its hard to see on the road and at night what is inside.Firstly, the manufacturing/petroleum/who knows smell goes away in about a day. I put it outside and 24 hours later it smelled like any other new luggage piece.
So I got this in khaki to contrast with the black in this small duffel (it about 16" x 10") so that I could see
things like GPS cables, mounts, cameras, phones, etc. It really works for this purpose. It could even be a range or target bag, as this material is designed to repel most stains, and the compartments are high enough to organize, but not so deep that its like going for a prize in a cereal box.
So, like other reviewers pointed out, the weak point is the lack of seams at the bottom of the compartments. Items tend to shift during travel, and they can sometimes creep into other compartments, especially coins or smaller items. But for the most part, this bag performed very well on my last 2000 mile road trip. GPS in a pocket, power in another, flashlight, bottle of water, and still room for maps and whatever along the sides. You could use it to make any bag into a small travel/tactical/flight/medic bag.
So it isn't perfect, but it is as close as I'll come without spending 4 8 times more on a specialized bag. And it reuses a duffel bag I have in great amounts.

I love the colors. It isn't as good of material as it looked it the picture but it is holding up just fine so far.I purchased one of K-Cliffs bags for my sweet, sweet angel faced turd burglar and in no time after her 1st grade year started it began to tear along a seam. Too tough for Ma to sew and not worth the time. I figured I'd contact K-Cliffs and let them replace their piece of Oriental (I think that's the politically correct phrase) junk but no go these varmits scurry and hide faster than Saudi royalty on a plane back to the homeland after 9/11. Absolutely no luck tracking down customer service of any sorts probably could have if I'd spent more than 15 minutes tracking their trail but hey...I got babies to kiss and pork to pull. So needless to say I would highly recommend looking for anything else, whatsoever, to carry your goods in. An old bucket, a wheelbarrow...even a cheap Mexican laborer for that matter. I would send my daughter to school with her books in a burlap sack before I'd purchase another K-Cliffs bag.
