I ordered this luggage for myself but my son fell in love with them the moment I unpacked them from the box. They are in a beautiful Navy/Red and much better than anything someone can find here in stores – actually there is nothing to compare with in Europe (I live in Belgium). The picture doesn't tell how beautifully they are. All three pieces have side handles and the fabric (100% polyester) appears to be very durable. So far I and my son could not be happier with the appearance and features.
Buy the way the price is worth even very lower than expected however it cannot be taken seriously the original price of $1140.

This luggage is great, however the outside finish does scrape with the "handling" it recieves from airport personnel. My one piece of the 3 piece set made to Japan, Costa Rica, and Hawaii before it was finally smashed on a trip to Philly. Then the airlines replaced it, so now I'm good to go! Moves easily with little effort, and is incredibilly light. It's also fun, I always smiile when I see it coming around on the luggage carosel, and that's something my plain red hardcase never made me do.
Don't buy Heys Luggage. I have two pieces of the polycarbonate and I tried to get warranty repair One with a faulty zipper and one which the spinner wheel broke. I have been calling for (literally) 2 months and left (again literally) well over a dozen messages. I get no calls back.I've called the number on their warranty tag: 305-629-9720 and also 954-843-9800 their repair center. Have also tried 877-276-4397.
Once spoke to someone who said they no longer do Heys warranty work and she gave me these other numbers.
So not only does their luggage fail, but you can't even get them to call back.

The bag is made from a good quality canvas just as advert said, yes the straps are some what hard to figer out at first but if you have ever used a military type before you'll be just fine. The bag have THREE outer pouches not two!! The two on the side are narrow but deep, great for smaller items that tend to roll around or for a small water bottle. The one larger pouch is great for a med kit. the bag tends to hang loss on the back if its not full and makes running with it out of the question but if strap a belt around it its just fine. Its comfortable and feels like it should last a life time if you not plan on using it every day it a great day bag but should not be used as a hardcore hiking bag, if you're looking for a good bear-bones bag this is a great bag.

I purchased 2 of these for a trip where my wife and I would use them as carry-ons.The one my wife used had a problem with the handle after the first flight... while getting off the plane to find our connection her handle would not open. I found that one of the spring-loaded retaining clips had stopped functioning, and I could not repair it. I had to make a usable work-around, as we obviously still had a ways to go on our trip.
The bag that I was using worked fine, and I was surprised that it had no problems whatsoever, since the bag was pretty inexpensive. Well, that stopped on the 2nd trip. The rear hinged portion of the bag ripped out and while it is still functional, it doesn't look very strong with that rip.
I've tried to locate the manufacturer (there is an email address and a web address listed on the product literature to make use of the 6 year warranty) but neither address is functional. I'll continue to look, and I'll update this review if I do get some warranty service.

I bought this luggage case for my trip to Japan. I needed something that I could wheel around the country that could be easy to transport and sustain some kicks and falls along the way. I ended up walking through about 14 different cities with it and this was PERFECT for my trip! The handle never locked up on me, the wheels never jammed, and all the items inside were protected perfectly by the hard case! I traveled with it on standard cement, on rocky dirt paths, up escalators, and on trains and boats. I am amazed, actually, by the value for the price! Buy this carry-on! Inexpensive but functional roll-aboard, with large wheels that make for easier rolling. Looks nice enough, too.The zipper pockets are OK, but on one side of the "clam shell", the fabric is not very generous, so that if you zip it up with nothing inside (to use the compartment as a layer between the contents and the frame), it is pretty taut, and essentially seals off that compartment. Would have been nicer to have a bit more fabric.
One weird aspect of this luggage is the smell. (Yeah, not what I was expecting either!)
When I removed it from the box, it *stank*. And not in a "new car smell" way. As in, oh my, a plastic-coated animal has gone in there and died! Even after blasting it with a fan on high for two days, it was unusable.
What's great is that the seller understood, said it probably was not allowed enough time to breathe at the factory, and offered to refund my money, either for an exchange or for cash. I decided to take a chance, and, because the exchange would take a long time, I opted for the cash refund and ordered a completely new unit.
That second unit still had a bad smell, but two days of fan-blasting got most of it out. I'm curious as to what is actually causing it...
Bottom line: serviceable, attractive enough, and hopefully the odor won't rub off on the contents!

I bought this as a replacement for my 3 year old Swiss pack that the zipper broke. The backpack seems smaller than the other one I had. It does not have enough small compartments for me. I use mine for international travel and keep business cards, hotel cards, memory sticks, money, and other little stuff that I want to keep seperate but accessable. Overall made well and may hold a 17in laptop but it will not be great for a week or two of travel. I like to keep extra stuff in case my luggage is lost. Overnight would be fine. Overall quality seems good but not what I was looking for size and compartment wise. The smaller size might work good for someone else.I bought 17in Sierra at Costco for $38 (great deal and good quality) that is bigger and has better small compartments for me.

This bag functions in the school setting, but is extremely annoying to use. Every time you try to zip and unzip the middle compartment, the zipper catches on the extra flap of material that is built into the bag. You have to unjam it every time. If I could return this bag, I would, but I'm already using it, and will just deal with it until it falls apart. Poor design from a company that is supposed to have cutting-edge designs!

This bag does not fit my 10-inch laptop! So it is very small compared to what you expect. If you have another use for it, it is great with the matching weekender which I also bought. I am keeping the weekender because I have matching Baggalini travel bags to match it, but I wish they offered this style larger. It should not be advertised as a laptop bag.

I was about to travel overseas to Amsterdam which is known for steep steps and cobblestone streets. I only wanted to bring one bag, and liked the Rick Steves idea of going with only one carryon (although I cheated and also brought a messenger bag just in case).I love this suitcase for many reasons.
PROS:
It's exactly carry-on size for most airlines, but only if it's lightly packed. Thus, I put a lot of stuff for the trip to Europe in my messenger bag so that the suitcase would stay 9" deep.
If you end up buying lots of souvenirs like I did on your trip, the bag actually expands in depth from 9" to 14". Of course, you'll probably have to check your bag in on the way back, but there will probably be no checked bag fee (for international travel, that is).
The suitcase straps are convenient if you need them. I personally never did, but I can see a situation where I don't really want to drag the bag.
-It has a duffel-like strap over the top (when it's lying flat). You can't really use it for carrying, but it's nice to help heft a full bag onto your luggage rack for unpacking using just one hand.
You can use the adjustable side buckles to compress the bag a little more when it's packed, so that stuff moves around less and the bag takes up just a bit less space
CONS:
As is typical, the collapsing bar you use to drag the bag takes up a lot of space in the interior.
Once full, the suitcase is pretty heavy on your back. It doesn't look like the materials use any of the super-fancy lightweight structural stuff like carbon fiber, but that's why you're saving money on luggage. :)
The grey and red version, which I bought, doesn't stand out like crazy on the conveyor belt, so you really gotta hunt for it for a flight coming off a 747 after you've gone through customs.
It's not a "spinner" four-wheeled suitcase. I'm still coveting one of those.
All in all, I recommend this suitcase especially if you're traveling somewhere that you'll be coming home with more stuff than you left.
This bag in particular is generally my carry-on. I fly exclusively on Delta and on larger jets, it fits exactly as its supposed to in the overhead bin, wheels in, top out. On midsized regional planes, it fits sideways. I have not yet flown with it on the small regional jets, but I expect to have to "pink tag" it and drop/retrieve it at the gate.
NOTE: The above statement assumes that you keep the expansion CLOSED, not open. If you open the expansion, be prepared to check it (and pay for it) on most aircraft. I pack this bag relatively light so the top pocket can be kind of "squished" in, for lack of a better term. I can get a 2-3 day trip out of this bag.
As far as the series AT-6 luggage in general, some reviewers have knocked it because its not a spinner type (4 independent wheels), and I'm not sure why, its pretty obvious its not. If that's what you're looking for, all I can tell you is that this luggage isn't what you're looking for.
All roll aboard luggage with the retractable handle like this takes up space inside and this bag is also no exception. There is a thin piece of material between the compartment and the telescope path which is flexible, so you could probably cram a few extra pairs of socks in if you plan ahead.
I have taken these bags on numerous trips since purchase and they're holding up very well, checked and as carry-on. I've not had any broken contents (knock on wood) in any case, nor have any parts or straps been torn or broken (knock on wood).
The built-in ID card holder is a really nice feature, protected from the elements and is attached by a piece of elastic so it can't simply fall out and be lost (spreading your personal information all over the airport). I don't use the backpack straps much, but on the 22-inch bag, they're comfortable. I find the other larger ones too heavy to wear like that comfortably.
The only way I could suggest High Sierra make this series better (again, I'm not letting it detract from my rating because it is clear it doesn't have this feature) is to add a "daisy-chain" strap for easier towing of more than one piece. I purchased this case, specifically for a two week trip to Europe, in which I would be flying and carrying this on as well as taking trains throughout Europe. I thought I would use the straps but I did not and that was okay, they were there if I needed them. If you are careful in your packing (I used a ruler)and do not extend the case or overpack, this fits nicely into overhead compartments on an airplane. We were on three different planes before we arrived in Luxembourg and this case did nicely. This case is a really good size for traveling by train as well, as the overhead storage is significantly smaller on trains. When it was fully packed I had to keep it in the seat with me a couple of times.The extended handle felt a little flimsy at times, but it never gave out. I had two different people on my trip lose there wheels on their suitcases. We were literally schlepping from train station to hotel on cobblestone roads for as far as two miles, in five different cities. This little case did wonderful. As the trip progressed I had plenty of room to pack souveniers. My room mate was amazed at everything I could pack in this case. I had it completely full for our trip back, in which it was checked luggage. It never toppled over or became difficult to manage throughout the airport. This was a great little suitcase. My only feedback would be improvements to security. It does not have a locking mechanism on it and the zipper pulls were not really designed to attach a lock or keep a lock as they were parachute cording. I was able to secure it using cable ties. Just carry extra in case you have to open your case for customs.I love this bag!
It has a zippered lining running through the middle of the bag so you have an upper and lower shelf, or you can unzip it and it roles and bungees out of the way for one large compartment. The pocket sizes are just right the one in front runs almost to the bottom of the bag and is shaped so it's not incredibly tight; I can easily fit my arm down in, and the mesh pocket inside also feels oddly roomy.
This bag feels durable. The material, stitching, zippers, clips, handle and wheels all feel sturdy and meant to last with reasonable use.
The backpack straps fold away perfectly. Instead of having to scrunch them into a pocket, the back panel unzips away from the bag and folds over backward to become a protection pad to keep the wheels from getting your sides dirty.
I bought the green bag and really love the color. I'm not quite sure what to call it it's brighter than a forest, maybe "fern"? it's distinctive, but not obnoxious. Very pretty.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the clips on the sides was that they are perfect to help with overpacking problems if you can't get the zipper shut, just let the straps out all the way, clip them, and yank them to tighten everything, then zip.
The strap across the front, in combination with the clips on the side, make it easy to clip together and lift if you need to move the bag quickly while unpacking, but without a lot of fuss.
The 2" expansion ability is a plus, and the zipper is specially labeled so it's easy to find. Nice touch.
FYI, the strap on the front is all one piece, it doesn't separate into two handles. I don't care, but apparently in Europe it's very fashionable for a couple to share the duffel-carrying duties by each taking a strap. That wouldn't be possible with this bag.
Overall I love this bag. I'm a photographer and always in search of the perfect camera bag, but this duffel has finally ended my search for the perfect luggage. I've used it just a couple times now, but I really can't think of anything I've found that I wish I could change. Thumbs up all around.

I bought this laptop backpack, because I wanted a bag that was functional but not bulky. I am a very petite female and I wanted a bag to transport my laptop that didn't overwhelm me. I am happy with its design. Very slim, sturdy and comfortable. Single main zipperinner sleeve holds laptop, while outer portion has enough room to hold small books/magazines, recharge chord etc. while still maintaining the slim appearance. Two side zipper compartments hold my umbrella and/or bottle of water. Although I am happy with my purchase, my only personal complaint is that it feels a bit wide for my body...as mentioned I am petite....5'2, 100 lbs. So although the bag is perfectly slim, I do wish it were a bit more narrow. Straps are nice and thick, feels like the bag will hold up forever. Maybe too hot/bulky to wear in the summer, but that may be the trade off for having a sturdy bag to secure a laptop.

This bag is huge. I was able to fit my macbook pro (17"), along with its charger, my backup drive, mouse, a novel or two, my portable DVD player, its charger, a bag of nuts, and two t-shirts, two pairs of socks, and a pair of pyjama bottoms. The front side pockets are just big enough to hold a small bottle of water, along with my ipod, mobile phone, ipod charger, wallet, keys, and a few pens. I was really delighted by this product at first, but in less than a year two of the zipper heads have already come off and there are a couple holes in it. This is with light, daily use.
K-Cliffs Gray and Black School Bag / Sports Backpack
my son is in high school, and refuses to use a locker. this means he carries everything with him. so we go through a lot of book bags. this is the first one that holds all his stuff. i'm still amazed.
Lots of pockets, sections, little places for pens and what have you, the design has a lot of variety which means versatility. The top handle does its job fine, the main straps have plenty of length for my large, 6-foot frame, and the adjustment slider-lock-things never gave up an inch I hate sliders that fail. Comfort was fine even on 1 shoulder. The main compartment is cavernous, and the use of adjustable side-snaps to contain the upper part of the main compartment goes a long way to rein in floppiness. The mesh water bottle pocket on the side is a bit large for the little 500ml waters I usually buy, they were loose but never slid out. Build quality for what I paid is downright decent no loose threads or thin panels or dead zippers or poorly-stitched sections everything was nice.
This is not an ideal bag for a netbook or an ipad or any medium-small device without secondary protection, they will bounce around inside, the bag is too big for that sort of thing, and the smaller pockets while considerable are too small for something like that. But MP3 players, phones, digital recorders, 6" tablets and e-book readers, that sort of thing, there's a nearly endless supply of storage for that, and while I haven't used it yet, the cord pass-through port on the upper right leads to a clear-fronted hanging pouch at the top of the main compartment not a new concept perhaps, but a welcome additional level of versatility. The number of places to put things can be overwhelming, but if you plan out your packing based on priority the way I do, you'll appreciate the ability to have quick sections on the front that just zip straight for notepads and pencils, and curved zip pockets behind them which hold so much more before even getting into the main compartment. Or, if you're in a rush, you can just dump stuff in the 2 larger front compartments and still have enough room to rummage through those sections later when you have time.
In terms of looks, the pictures are mostly accurate mine doesn't have the red circle dealies, but the rest is true. However, I agree with the other reviewer who said the photos really don't convey the quality, it doesn't look cheap or thin in real life, the back is padded, the gray isn't tacky, the mesh is tight. I had it next to a friend's backpack that was similar in coloring and cost around 5x as much as I paid, and he was constantly mistaking my bag for his.
My review cannot yet speak to the longevity of this backpack since I've only had it 1 week, but I don't get the sense that it's going to fail me. Yet even if it did, at this price I'd happily buy another of it.

I bought this item but was not sure I was going to like it but decided to take a chance on it. This cover exceeded my expectations. I expected something that looked a little cheap and that probably did not live up to the pictures shown in the product listing. I was pleasantly surprised. The cover is a nice faux leather that is elegant and fairly light. Most covers tend to add weight to the product you are buying them for, and while this does add a little it is not enough to make a difference. I especially loved the flip-out stand that elevates your MBA to a nice enough height so that your hands wont get cramped as mine tend to do with my arthiritis and it also keeps the MBA cool.I was a bit concerned about the bands holding the cover of the MBA getting worn out, but they appear very sturdy and don't look like they will stretch out easily. I have received nothing but compliments from friends about the case and many wish their was a version for their iPad and iPod. So far the item was well worth the price I paid.
One small thing was that as a mac person who loves my little mac apple logo, I kinda wish they had cut out the apple logo in the cover....but it is not a deal breaker. I actually like the fact that this product when closed looks like a nice little folio instead of a computer and makes it less of a temptation for someone to steal and that is a concern for me.
I would recommend this with out hesitation and maybe the company can offer a few more colors in the same product.

I knew this was a faux leather cover when ordering and it is a fairly nice cover and very functional with the MacBook Air however I wouldn't mind paying a little more for just a tad better material or maybe a lot more for actual full leather. Great design, not too heavy and the concept is certainly there, plus you can't beat the price for "basic" coverage of your MBA. Ordered mac air 13 and the case together, it fits nicely leaving the track pad and keyboard area open.The material is faux leather but does not look cheap, it has got microfiber material inside to
protect mac air from scratches.

I love the size of this bag the way it opens to make getting big books and laptops out easily is great and the clear interior pockets allow for easy access to exactly what you need without having to look for it. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that after just a month or so the telescoping handle stopped going all the way down. This is a very handy piece of luggage as it affords many pockets for storage.The only problem is that if you have an aisle seat, it does not fit under it as the aisle's seats are not wide enough no matter how the luggage is turned.
It does fit well in either middle or window seats which I was fortunate to have on the flight to Cancun but not on the return.
That should be considered when taking it along and booking seats.

We haven't used this suitcase yet, but it was purchased to be an overnight bag and it looks to be very suitable with several handy extra pockets. The little slippers might be able to fulfill the stated purpose of wearing though an airport check in line, however I would not be tempted to do this because the soles are very thin plastic and likely to be slippery on a linoleum floor. The small "ticket" case would actually work very well as a small travel purse. The suitcase does have one major problem, which was stated by several other buyers...the horrible smell. I have researched this problem and while I cannot be sure, the smell is likely to be from formaldehyde that is frequently used in making plastics. I have left it in the sun for a week and in the house opened up for at least a month now. The smell still lingers, though it is less. I would still be afraid to put clothing into the bag. Fortunately I have not needed to travel since buying it. I am, hopeful, but skeptical at this point, of eradicating the awful odor since the bag is very cute, It is the smallest wheeled bag, and the least expensive I've seen, including the off price stores I always check before buying online.

I ordered this backpack for my 4 year old daughter who will be starting preschool this fall. My daughter is absolutely in love with anything and everything that has to do with Merida and I knew she would be thrilled with a character backpack.What specifically drew me to this backpack is the fact that it is "mini". My daughter is very petite for her age, weighing in at 28lbs and just over 3ft tall, so the regular kids backpack is about half the size she is, and when full, far too big for her to try and lug around.
The mini backpack is a perfect fit for her small frame, and she can easily manage the zipper, putting her notebooks and tag books inside, as well as getting it onto her own back.
The graphics are sharp and the backpack seems very well made, but only time will tell how durable the backpack is. I'm hoping it holds up through at least preschool.
