I absolutely love this bag. It looks even better than in the picture. Sure $115 is a bit pricey for a backpack, but the genuine distressed leather and durable spacious craftsmanship is really worth every penny. I can not only fit several textbooks, notebooks, binder, and laptop, but the large side pockets even let me keep snacks for on the go munching between classes. I do have to say that it is a little wider than most backpacks, but not wide enough to look odd or overwhelming. Gave this to my daughter for use at college. Well crafted leather bag that is a good size. Big enough for an average size laptop computer and enough room and additional pockets for folders, a few books and other stuff. The leather appears to be high quality and I think it's going to be one of those bags that looks even better with use as the leather gets more character. I am a grad student majoring in studio art, and I have been searching for a bag like this for the longest time. I received it today and everything I need fits perfectly in it with some extra empty pockets. Usually I have to carry two bags or one bag and an art tackle box to school because my messenger bag couldn't hold all my class stuff and art stuff. Now it all fits in one. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead on 5 is because the photos make it look a little wider than it actually is.This bag fits my laptop,sketchbook, 3 ring binder, iPad, all my drawing materials, wallet, cell phone, iPod, and a few other random small things.

I've had this bag a month and there are several stitching areas that are coming apart already; the leather portion on the handle is coming off and was from day 1, one of the compartments areas is unstitching. The quality is better than what I expected. In the picture, the shoulder strap is attached to the top flap which didn't seem to sturdy but it is attached to the sides. Nice and big too. Love this bag!

My seven year old boy wanted something to carry his "stuff" in and his 17 year old brother has a sling that he uses so finding this item was great. It's a sling and looks just like the picture. I had to warn him that some may say it's a "purse" which did happen at church, but several other kids immediately said no it wasn't and that it was very cool. He had some really good feedback on it, but even better I was happy that he loved it no matter what anyone said. It's just the right size for him. It was great on a beach trip for him to keep track of all his special things.

I got this along with some suitcases in the same series. I kept the suitcases, but returned the pack. Unlike most travel packs, it had very few small pockets and organizing features, but pretty much just 3 large pockets. So it might be fine for clothing, but not for business travel.

It's so nice. Durable, the right size, nice looking, not too many small zippered compartments which is nice for me, comfortable on the back but works nicely when fit onto the matching rollers. It probably isn't any better or worse than many backpacks that most people already own and I'm not sure I would have bought it without buying the matching rollers but I'm really glad I did. I have been using backpack purses for almost ten years, and this one is probably the best one I have had. My biggest problem with most backpack-purses is that they come two ways: too small, and too big. As a mom, I need more space in my purse than just a cute spot for a wallet, checkbook, cellphone, and keys. The larger versions of a purse-backpack so huge it could fit your laptop and two days worth of clothes. This bag is in the middle, and that's why this bag is so nice. It carries all the things the small pack does, and also my PDA, second checkbook, inhaler, pencils, receipts, small notebook, my son's wallet and Nintendo DS, and a number of other smallish things that always seem work their way into my purse.The front zippered compartment is great for receipts, club cards and prescriptions (both filled and script). It is easily accessable from the outside by just lifting the flap on top of the bag. But what I really like is the side back zippered compartment. It is a great place for keys. I can even just reach back and grab my keys without having to take the whole pack off.
The inside compartments are well done, with a nice back zippered pouch for small things, and places for several pens, a cell phone, and a PDA (although if you have a small phone it may be a bit big). The leather was a nice quality substantial without being heavy, and interior material seems heavy enough that it won't be tearing easily.
I will be using this bag for a long time to come.

The red is actually a bit orange-red, I prefer a deeper red. I would have liked more inside pockets and some elastic straps to hold small bottles. The outside pockets are perfect and well hidden, and easy to organize travel documents. I found the overall size too small for a carry-on for jewelry, medication, camera, iPad, phone & accompanying cords and accessories, a shawl, etc. And it seems slightly too large for shopping in foreign ports, perhaps this is due to the stiffness of the leather. JanSport Wheeled Superbreak Backpack
I bought this for myself because I travel a lot and I wanted a carry on that my laptop would fit in and I didn't have to hand-carry. Laptop cases are very heavy after being carried for a while. I just used this on a recent trip and liked it very much. The wheels roll nicely and the handle is long (I'm 5'9" and had no problem with the height) and feels sturdy. I gave it 4 start for two reasons. The first reason being when I had the laptop in the bag, and placed other things in the bag, the laptop was difficult to retrieve and place back in. The flap with the zipper in it seemed like it was in the way, and the back of the bag is so hard. The other thing I found unfavorable is that I noticed a lot of hair got stuck in the wheels, which is really gross. I have traveled with many different suitcases and bags and I've never had hair get stuck in wheels before.Other than that, it's a really good sturdy bag and I will keep using it for my trips.

It is all what I have expected.The wheel are real good ones (like real rollers) and not the common shitty plastic.

I want to start off by saying this bag is HUGE! Biggest backpack like thing Ive ever own. The picture doesnt do it justice.I like this bag. It has space for everything you might need, and I'm big on bringing extra stuff just in case, with this bag, I can fit them all. I had my Canon t3i, My Canon hand camera (dont remember the name), Panasonic lumix LX5, Tablet, Rode mic, flood light, batteries, Tascam DR40, extra cords and batterys, plus I was able to tie a shoulder rig on the outside.. Its basically like carrying a mobile suitcase. This bag was comfortable, and straps helps to keep it on.
I fell in love with this bag, but 20 mins into using it, some of the mesh on one of the pouches already started to give out (PS: I started to give this bag 4 stars,but I figure it should last at least 1 day before falling apart). The price of this bag was DEFINITELY withing reach compared to the rest. I think this is a great bag for people who tend to carry a lot of items.
Pros: Big, space for everything, comfortable, Big, secure, lots of compartments for your stuff, and big. Has space for Camera, tons of equipment, cords, and specialized laptop/tablet space. THE PRICE MAKES THIS A WINNER!
Con: Its big (which can be a problem for some), mesh was coming apart day 1 for me, so I suspect after a year I might need to find a new one. No quick easy access. So if youre looking to quickly grab your camera, you couldnt set it up that way but it doesnt easily lend itself to that.

I bought this laptop backpack, because I wanted a bag that was functional but not bulky. I am a very petite female and I wanted a bag to transport my laptop that didn't overwhelm me. I am happy with its design. Very slim, sturdy and comfortable. Single main zipperinner sleeve holds laptop, while outer portion has enough room to hold small books/magazines, recharge chord etc. while still maintaining the slim appearance. Two side zipper compartments hold my umbrella and/or bottle of water. Although I am happy with my purchase, my only personal complaint is that it feels a bit wide for my body...as mentioned I am petite....5'2, 100 lbs. So although the bag is perfectly slim, I do wish it were a bit more narrow. Straps are nice and thick, feels like the bag will hold up forever. Maybe too hot/bulky to wear in the summer, but that may be the trade off for having a sturdy bag to secure a laptop.

I wanted to get a backpack to help, but didn't want to a) break the bank, and; b) get a over-sized bag with all lumbar support bells and whistles. This bag is huge. I was able to fit my macbook pro (17"), along with its charger, my backup drive, mouse, a novel or two, my portable DVD player, its charger, a bag of nuts, and two t-shirts, two pairs of socks, and a pair of pyjama bottoms. The front side pockets are just big enough to hold a small bottle of water, along with my ipod, mobile phone, ipod charger, wallet, keys, and a few pens. High Sierra A.T. Gear Classic 30" Wheeled Duffel
I really like this bag! I use it to take brochures and promo items with me on my educational rounds speaking with patients and exhibiting at conferences. The bag holds an amazing amount of items and I like all of the extra outside pockets. I combined this bag with clear plastic storage bins of various sizes to create a modular approach to my organization.It rolls well and I have once used the backpack straps. Using the straps, I get odd looks from people because it is big!
The ONLY thing I have found that I don't like or would change is the fact that there is only a handle on one end of the bag for lifting. I need a handle on the end with the wheels as well to help me lift it up onto the seat in my truck or onto a shelf. This is the only reason I held back and assessed 4 stars instead of 5. The build quality is amazing.
Other than that, I would buy another one in a minute!

After searching hundreds of rolling duffel bags online for the right size, weight, durability, I bought this for my college age son to make carting clothes, laundry hamper and backpack from car park to dorm room easier (great roller wheels, which are replaceable) plus he was going on a snow trip to Colorado. Well I can tell you he loves it it has an incredible amount of room and the end pockets easily take a pair of winter boots. The side pocket has ample room for toiletries. Kensington SaddleBag Notebook Carrying Case (Black) (64079)
I've travelled nearly 250,000 miles with my laptops, papers, accessories, etc in one of these, and it's proven itself up to the task. The front pocket is useful for storing business cards, O'Reilly pocket guides, passport(s), tickets, etc. for easy access. The large main pocket has a padded space for a laptop (my Dell fits it either way around) and on my model has 4 dividers that are useful for keeping CD cases and cables disentangled. The shoulder straps / backpack straps can be detached and/or hidden inside the case for a more professional look (though if I needed to care more about presentation I would probably have a regualar briefcase)
After 2 1/2 years of constant use the padding in the shoulder straps is starting to become compressed, and there are some tears on the vinyl inside, but give how much use I've made of this backpack this is probably normal wear and tear.

This is by far the most convenient, comfortable bag in the universe. I've carried it as a backpack, carried it over the shoulder, and also held it by the wonderfully padded handle. My school gave me a backpack bag for free, but I just can't tear myself away from my Saddlebag!The downside is that there seem to be different versions (besides the colors). I bought one for my wife and after looking at it, I just had to get one for myself, too (and so did her partner, who says that he smiles every time he uses it). Mine gave me a little trouble, though. Within a few weeks, something weird happened with the zipper in the front (the leatherette tag came off and there were two broken prongs sticking out). This might have been my fault--I might have snagged it on something. Then the handle started getting a little "lumpy."
I called Kensington and they offered to replace it under the lifetime warranty. They will send one to me and then I can send them the old one (only paying postage one way). They confirmed that the bag was redesigned some months ago but the same product number was carried over. The list price was also reduced significantly, the suede bottom was replaced with rugged vinyl, and some file dividers were eliminated in the redesign process, but I don't think the quality difference is anything to be concerned about.
I looked carefully at the handle and it seems that a component has shifted to the side, making it lumpy. It might be possible to shift it back without too much trouble, but because they are replacing it, I'm reluctant to mess with it.
As a result of their great service, I've just bought one for my daughter as she heads off to college.

This is easily the best laptop bag I've ever had. I have carried it around the world easily more than 20 times and it is only just now showing wear. I would never buy a different one. I was looking for a ninjago backpack for my son. I found this same backpack at Toys'R'Us for $17.99. All the reviews said the backpack was very cheaply made and fell apart quickly. I didn't find any good reviews on it. I would recommend trying to find this in a store for $17 and see if it's even worth that much. I would definitely not spend $99 on it!

The shipping was on time but did not last a week in perfect condition, the first week it broke apart and had to fix it with needle and thread, two weeks after it broke the two shoulder straps, and at 3 weeks it is broken in many parts, the zipper and two side slits are broken too and the worst is that is more expensive for me to buy another bag than to returned it. This backpack is very flimsy and has already ripped in a couple of spots. I am very disappointed that I spent this much money on an item of poor quality. It is only October and I know I will need to buy another backpack for my son before the end of the school year. The last backpack my son had he used for 3 school years because he loved it and it was durable. It too was a lego backpack and I assumed this would be of the same quality. Again...I am very disappointed.

If anything has become a commodity, it is the humble daypack. But with dozens to choose from, even down here in far flung Tasmania, I couldn't go pass the features of this pack which is not available locally. So I waited anxiously for my order to be filled, hoping it would survive the long trip down under. I needn't have worried. Within 2 weeks my pack arrived in perfect condition. I am not disappointed.First of all the workmanship is perfect. Every zipper is cleanly sewn and all the stitching is pretty much flawless. The materials all appear to be first rate to my inexpert eyes. I wasn't aware when I ordered that Osprey offer an unconditional lifetime guarantee, so I'm pleased to think this purchase could be a sound investment.
I've already had this pack out in the field at least 8 or 9 times and it has proven to be comfortable and well balanced. Everything seems to be in pretty much the right place for me. I love the way the compression and adjustment straps all fall within reach. I like to constantly fine-tune the load between waist and shoulders (there's lots of steep up-and-down, boulder hopping and often bit of scrambling here in Tas). This pack is easy to adjust on the run.
I'm delighted with the product and the value. And, kudos to Amazon for (once again) great service and best price.

This pack is excellent for warm-weather hiking because it curves away from your back and allows air to flow between the pack and your body. Even in cooler weather, you want moisture to dissipate as much as possible. I wish it had an external pouch or pocket to store a notebook or other small items, but otherwise, it is well-laid out. It may be a bit smaller than advertised, but the curved shape may contribute to the interior volume being less efficient than an equivalent volume rectangle book pack-style pack. This is a great pack at a reasonable price. Many awesome features that other mfrs may have forgotten or ignored. Quite a step up from my old daypack that it replaces. Will get the Osprey hydration bladder to go with it next. Not a full-on complaint exactly, but something I would have preferred: the shoulder straps are not the same color fabric as the body of backpack. They are a lighter shade. Maybe this was the intended style choice, but kind of reminds me of a patchwork deal.Oh, word to the wise, make sure you check Osprey's sizing guide BEFORE you buy!
