Just the right size for day pack use. Durable.....I've used Jansport day packs for decades. Wish it had a small extra pocket for papers, boarding pass, itinerary, etc.

I've tried a number of backpacks, and Jansports are the best for me. Not too big, not too small, not a lot of gizmos, and durable enough to last a long time. I just wish they had a FEW more pockets.

Want Jansport Backpack Superbreak Navy Blue for School Work or Play Discount?

I bought one in Navy Blue for my 6th grader son. His older sister and friend insisted on it so he wouldn't be made fun of. Okaaay.

It's done well enough. He has to haul pounds of books to and from school every day--if the bottom stitching doesn't come out by springtime, it's one tough back pack. We haven't gone that far yet, so I'll have to come back and update in a few months.

My son's main complaint to me was the lack of any other pockets beside the main one in the front. It's a very basic bag. His previous bag had another larger pocket between the main compartment and the front pocket. He liked that feature. This one doesn't have that extra storage separator.

So far, it's a good basic backpack.

Phineas and Ferb Eyes Messenger Bag

Phineas and Ferb Eyes Messenger BagMy seven year old boy wanted something to carry his "stuff" in and his 17 year old brother has a sling that he uses so finding this item was great. It's a sling and looks just like the picture. I had to warn him that some may say it's a "purse" which did happen at church, but several other kids immediately said no it wasn't and that it was very cool. He had some really good feedback on it, but even better I was happy that he loved it no matter what anyone said. It's just the right size for him. It was great on a beach trip for him to keep track of all his special things.

eBags Laptop Collection Wall Street Deluxe Full-Grain Leather Laptop BriefVery duriable bag lots of room for storager great looking and a real quality leather. Recomend this to all my colleges.

I WOULD GIVE THIS SELLER ZERO STARS BUT WAS FORCED TO GIVE IT SOME KIND OF VALUE. I purchased this bag for a Christmas gift and was missing the shoulder strap. It has taken almost 15 days and 7 phone calls to get anything resolved. The right hand has NO CLUE what the left hand is doing. Quite frankly, I'd return this item if it wasn't that I had already told the person that I was in the process of getting the shoulder strap. I am STILL WAITING for this shoulder strap to appear or to get some kind of concrete answer as to where this strap is being sent from. Every operator who works for eBags has told me a different story. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS VENDOR AGAIN....I SUGGEST YOU LOOK FOR SOME OTHER PRODUCT. The hassle is just not worth the merchandise!

Petunia Pickle Bottom Hush Velcro Silencer

Petunia Pickle Bottom Hush Velcro SilencerIn my opinion, this is a must have for the boxy backpack.

I had seen so many reviewers bashing PPB bags becasue of the Velcro closure, I almost didn't buy one. I have also met some long time PPB owners who have shown me the failing Velcro on their bags.

Whith the hush silencers in place, I can turn my bag upside down and shake the crap out of it, and it doesn't open.

The Velcro used to startle (awake or asleep) my newborn son. Not an issue anymore.

When changing a diaper on carpet the Velcro on the front of boxy backpack would stick to the floor. Not anymore.

I have ruined a fine knit sweater by brushing it up against the Velcro. Never again.

Thank you Petunia for making a great bag perfect with this product!

I wanted to love this product as I was really tired of the Velcro on my diaper bag waking up my baby every time I opened it. The bad news, it doesn't work. My bag does not stay closed with the strength of these magnets. Maybe if they were stronger... Bottom line, I'd rather have a bag that stays shut than a bag that is super quiet.

Buy Petunia Pickle Bottom Hush Velcro Silencer Now

I was SO bummed to learn the new PPB bags came with magnetic closure AND snaps! My PPB was the very first thing I bought (on sale) after I found out I was pregnant. Of course, it was only a couple of months later they had the new design. The velcro snags on my sweaters, A&A blankets, it's own straps annoying! When I heard about this product, I hurriedly ordered one despite the mixed reviews. It just flat out doesn't work on a bag with any normal amount of items in it. I tested it like the one reviewer wrote upside down. What a joke. I emptied out the contents of my bag, one by one. Basically, the bag has to be kind of wrinkly empty in order for the flap to stay closed. This would have been perfect with the magnet PLUS the snaps on it, to make it like the newer versions of the bags. OR maybe just with snaps. Only plus is that our things are no longer being snagged. Debating on whther or not to return it.

Women In Business Thoroughbred Laptop Tote

Women In Business Thoroughbred Laptop ToteI got this bag a few months ago to replace a rolling bag and I get so many compliments!!! Stylish and LOVE the crossbody length strap. Worth the purchase.

What I love about this bag: the size to fit as much material as you should carry without breaking your bag everyday, the style and finish, the number of compartments to organize your content, they way it stands straight no matter where you put it down, the cute tiny legs at the bottom so that the bag does not get dirty, the beautiful satin purple trim inside.

What I don't like about this bag: the quality and choice of material used. This would have been much better in leather in my opinion. The short handle are stand ready for pick up as depicted in the picture all the time.... this is great in some ways, but when you are in a rush and want to put stuff in the bag, the handles get in the way.

Overall, I recommend this product!

Batman 16 Inch Backpack with Padded Chest Plate - Black

Batman 16 Inch Backpack with Padded Chest Plate - BlackMy 7 year old son picked this backpack out himself! He loved the front of the backpack. However th zipper broke in several weeks and the bottom tore. By November he had to get a new back pack -that only 4 months of use.

This backpack is a good sizefits full sized folders, and his lunch box inside nicely. My only complaint so far is that it only has one zipper all the other backpacks we have had have 2 zippers on the same "zip" so you can make it go both ways... easier for young kids. But this only has oneso you have to make sure you find the right size to zip up, etc.

The shipping ended up being faster than Amazon said. I ordered on the 8th and received on the 17th so not too bad. When Amazon said it would arrive on the 30th I thought that was ridiculous. The backpack looks well made and will hopefully last my little guys Kindergarten year. The description did say that the backpack came with a "removable cape" and there was no such cape to be found. My son was pretty excited about this aspect and disappointed that there was not one.

This pack is perfect for the schizophrenic child who believes he needs armored back-abs to fight crime while walking backwards at night. Or, perhaps, a special gift for that little Bane fan who likes to pretend he's toting the disembodied torso of Gotham City's dark hero.

For everyone else, this product is a bit of a freakshow item. But if your aim is to cause uneasy titillation at a birthday party and tick off the birthday child's mom, this is perfect!

ETA: I'm sorry that this review is apparently not well liked by purchasers of the item. Still, it is EXTREMELY strange to create a child's product that will make it seem like they have a disembodied torso on their back. I've shown this item to many people now, and all have agreed it is weird, and not in a fun, whimsical way.

Timbuk2 Amnesia Laptop Backpack

Timbuk2 Amnesia Laptop Backpack, Gunmetal/Blue/Black, MediumI've had this backpack for a few weeks now and it was great both for flying across the Atlantic and for everyday use at the university. The organizer within the lower pocket is sufficient for me, with slots for three pens/pencils plus another four smaller pockets for erasers, wallet, phone, keys, whatever, and then one big zippered pocket.

In other reviews of Timbuk2 bags I'd read about there being some weird foam roller thing in the bottom of the laptop compartment which made it so that your laptop would have to go in the pocket in a certain way or else it would be uncomfortable. Fortunately this design is absent from the Amnesia bag, and I've been able to throw my 13" laptop in there any which way and it is always perfect, even when biking.

The smaller top pocket is padded so you could also put your cell phone or other electronics in there without worrying about it getting scratched up.

The water bottle holder easily fits a 32 ounce Nalgene bottle, which is very handy. Some might like to have more than one bottle holder but for me, this is just fine.

The helmet lops seem to work great too and I don't really worry about my helmet (or bike lock) coming out.

The bag is very comfortable, even when I put in my laptop, a nice big 800 page textbook plus two smaller books, a cable lock for my laptop, a notebook, pens, pencils, etc. with still plenty of room to spare for a light jacket, lunch, or whatever.

Overall I'm very impressed with the bag, and I expect to have it for a long time. Nice job, Timbuk2!

---UPDATE 1-20-2013 ---

While reviewing something else I saw this one again and thought I'd update to say that now, 8 months later, the bag is still in great shape and holding up exceptionally well. Still no complaints here!

I've used the Timbuk2 for about 2-weeks now, including as a commuter bag during riding my bike to work and now as a commuting bag to the airport for a three day trip. The fit is nice. It would be nicer with a waist strap. The front pockets are pretty good with inside and outside pockets to secure items. I did not use the helmet straps but they seem robust and would work well. the color and material is nice as well. Finally the laptop pouch is great. I have a 15" Lenovo that fits perfectly and it holds it secure and because it is separate of the main chamber it allows maximum filling of the pack as a whole.

Unfortunately on the way to the airport, the pack strap broke threads pulled out of the adjustable ring attach point on the right shoulder. there was no abuse that caused this nor was this because I overloaded the bag. the threads must not have been terminated properly and they pulled out. I am glad I had already shouldered it on my left arm as I would have possible caused damage to my laptop. So be sure to inspect the threads/sewing on the straps where they attach to the adjustable rings give them a pull and make sure it doesn't come undone!

Well Ive been using the bag for two days commuting 6 miles each day with it. It hold my tennis shoes, laptop, textbooks, pens and pencils, and my flat kit. I love this pack, it stays incredibly steady while riding and distributes the weight very well. Its light and comfortable as all get out. Plus the blue matches my bike haha. THe bottle opener is awesome as well. THE WATER BOTTLE POCKET DOES HOLD A NALGENE!! this pack is one of the few Ive found that actually fits a nalgene bottle. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who bike commutes. its amazing.

ps. the helmet straps work wonderfully too.

I bought this bag to replace my Timbuk2 Superbad pack. I loved how spacious it was, but the straps were killing me. I attend University and have some heavy books and have to tote my computer around a lot. So I was looking for some more padding. I looked at various other brands, but I am really fond of Timbuk2 for their durability and materials.

I bought the Amnesia Daypack and have been using it for a little less than a week and its excellent so far. The straps are padded sufficiently, it might not seem like they are when you first put it on or touch them but its just the right amount. The padding on the back is EXCELLENT. I can carry my French book, 5 subject notebook, three or four smaller books, my laptop and a jacket comfortably.

This pack is very tall! It might be uncomfortably tall for some. I'm about 5'6" (female) and have a long torso and it is fine for me. This is great because you can put things on top of your books (like workout clothes and other things.

A note about the laptop compartment-you can only access it from the side zipper. So far I haven't had any problems with the zipper slipping but it could be since it zips up and not down. You can not put the laptop in from the main compartment, but I don't find this to be an issue. The pencil pouch at the top, if filled, can make the laptop sag a little. The helmet loops are great for attaching even a heavy lunchbox. The velcro pocket fits a Macbook Pro charger comfortably without gouging out too much.

Overall, excellent backpack! 5/5 stars, can't think of anything to change. Feel free to comment with questions and I'll try to answer.

Want Timbuk2 Amnesia Laptop Backpack Discount?

I've had the Timbuk2 Amnesia backpack for a little over a year now (since December of 2011) and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. After only one year of use at university carrying minimal weight the majority of the time, it is fraying on the right side. The stitching on the water bottle holder is also coming undone and it now has a small hole in the seam. The "rubbery" coating on the bags interior is also peeling off. For what I paid and Timbuk2's supposed reputation, I expected it to stay in better shape.

My main gripe with this bag is its lack of pockets. Not including the internal computer sleeve, it has one front organizer pocket, the small top pocket, and the interior itself. I rarely put things in the actual organizer panel within the front pocket, save maybe a few pens. I find everything else is hard to reach, especially given the bag is floppy and falls over constantly. I usually just drop things in there, as the side zip and velcro flap make using this as anything but a stash pocket annoying. I like the top pocket for keeping pens and things; it is easy to reach with the bag next to you, although the bags inability to stand up on its own sometimes spills the top pocket's contents everywhere.

The bag has a side-access laptop pocket, which is well-padded. I like it very much, although as someone who is handicapped, the side zipper is more annoying than helpful. It also has a fabric sling in the bottom which keeps your computer from hitting the floor when you drop the bag. Other than these pockets, the bag is one huge bucket. For some people this may work, but for me, it means I have to fight with my things. Once I load the bag up with school books and binders, the only space left is above them. I can lay things on top to fit more in the pack, but then I have to pull all those things out to reach my books. I would have preferred two sections to put things in.

Otherwise, this is a nice bag. The laptop compartment is nice, the straps and back padding are comfortable, and the addition of a bottle opener on the strap is neat. I haven't really used the "ears" because I don't need them, but they stay shut nicely and do not get in the way unused. I just dont think Timbuk2 quality is what it used to be, and I hear they have since moved their production out of the US, which is sad. Timbuk2, thanks for the nice bag, but I will be buying my next one from a real "Made in the USA" company.

Watershed Big Creek Waterproof Backpack

Watershed Big Creek Waterproof BackpackWatershed's dry bags offer a degree of water protection that is head and shoulders above their competitor's dry bags. Watershed's bags are as waterproof as a bag probably ever could be thanks to their patented closure mechanism which is essentially a heavy-duty version of a zip-lock freezer bag. Watershed's competitor's are stuck offering various versions of a roll-top style closures which can never boast of being "water-proof" if completely submersed. Watershed, on the other hand makes drybags for the US Navy SEALs so you know they they must be pretty darn waterproof. One guy at the factory told me they had once tested a bag to 300 meters for the Navy and it didn't leak, but the contents were crushed by the pressure so the bag's more extreme depth capabilities proved to be a bit of a moot point. (Added bonus; Watershed bags are made in the USA.) The design of the Watershed "Big Creek" bag makes a few design choices, such as the tight opening, that may not necessarily make it the most convenient carry-all bag for general purpose use, but for what it is supposed to do it, keep your valuable and water-sensitive items dry, it performs admirably. I personally am glad Watershed did not sacrifice the water-proof capabilities of this bag for the convenience of some casual users who probably don't even need a bag this waterproof in the first place.

Speaking of casual users, at around a hundred dollars, I would advise shoppers who want a bag keep your clothes dry on a canoe trip or to protect items against splashes or a quick accidental immersion to consider buying a cheaper, easier to use roll-top type dry bag as it should be more than sufficient for your needs and you will have $70 left over to spend on something else. I purchased a "Big Creek" bag for a six month backpacking trip through Asia to protect my electronic gear and camera and it was the single best thing I took on my trip. If you think you may want to take your $2000 DSLR snorkeling or if you think you may want to take your camera, laptop, ipod and iphone on an unguided white water rafting trip through northern Laos in a primitive skift (which did capsize, twice) I would highly recommend a Watershed brand bag. Thanks to my Watershed bag my camera and sensitive electronics managed to survived multiple small boat capsizings, an elephant-back soaking, water-fall jumps and swims, more snorkeling and diving excursions than I can recall, rain forest downpours, rainy motorcycle rides, and swims in heavy surf when I didn't want to leave my valuables on the beach unattended. I figured if I was going to carry a big heavy DSLR camera all around Asia I wanted to have it with me when it mattered, and my Watershed bag gave me the ability to do just that. As a result I got shots during my travels that no one else was able to get because their cameras were locked in their rooms. (Sometimes a very risky place too.) I didn't have any thing stolen from me on my trip either, I think part of that was luck, but it didn't hurt that I never had to leave anything behind on the shore or in my room for fear of getting my stuff wet. It is peace of mind to have a bag you can trust your sensitive and expensive gear to when you know getting wet may be an unavoidable part of your day.

So in a nutshell I guess that's it. A sturdy, trusty drybag like the Big Creek is convenience and peace of mind for your important water sensitive things, because the bag gives you the freedom to take those things with you in some pretty extreme situations without having to worry.

Definite five star product.

It's a great pack to have your stuff available to you, and dry, when you're on the water. There's a fairly large nylon loop strap at the top of the backpack shoulder straps that you can use to hook the pack to straps or ropes on a raft, using a carbiner. The backpack straps are lightly cushioned and comfortable, and are functional for carrying a load. If you don't come close to filling the storage space, the backpack gets a little floppy, though. One giant advantage of this pack is that you can *see* everything, so you aren't stuck reaching around in "the hole," blindly. That said, the opening isn't quite big enough, or at least as handy as it could be if it were just a few inches wider, which is why I didn't give it five stars. (The opening is a little small, so it's like rummaging around in a bear canister.) It doesn't open like a typical dry bag. The opening mechanism is like a giant ziplock, and you have to twist the zip part to open it, and firmly press the zip part to seal it. It's not at all hard, but you have to spend a little time getting the hang of opening and closing it. It worked great, though, and none of my gear ever got wet. I have taken it on two rafting trips and a canoe trip, and haven't noticed any scratches or scuffs on the fabric. It's a good product.

Buy Watershed Big Creek Waterproof Backpack Now

I bought this for a canoe trip and for when I do serious wading. It works great. It seals closed like a ziplock bag, and keeps out all moisture. On an over night canoeing/camping trip I inflated it and used it for a pillow. The only down side to this bag is the size of the opening, you can fit clothing in it, but larger articles, such as extra shorts or a towel, are a little harder to get in. It is also not the most convient if you need constant access to items such as maps you are trying to keep dry, but if all you want is to keep essential items dry then as a waterproof backpack it is a great buy.

I find the closer system of watershed packs to be the most trustworthy and the material is far more rugged then traditional dry bags. They cost a little more money, but they last forever. Look no farther if you are in the market for a dry bag.

Girl Punk Style Ploy Urethane Leather Backpack (Model: B010328)

Girl Punk Style Ploy Urethane Leather BackpackI use it everyday for college and it looks awesome. Really sturdy for those heavy cource books that they made us carry around!

I was uber-excited to find this bag online. It shipped really quickly and looked really cute. The zippers catch easily and from day one I was afraid they would break, however the straps beat them to the punch. I didn't even get to use this bag for a full week before both straps started to separate from the bag at the top of the backpack. I only ever carry a couple of notebooks at a time, so the load wasn't heavy by any means. I did have a history book in there one day, but when it comes to history books, mine is on the lighter side. I have sewn the straps back on and I hope they hold, but the material isn't really meant to be re-sewn, so only time will tell... I wish the bag had been better made since it is so adorable, or that the price had been lowernearly $40 is too much for a bag that can't be used.

Two days after I posted the above portion of this review one of the straps snapped off the bag and the zipper on the front pocket broke.

DAKINE Mission Photo Pack

DAKINE Mission Photo Backpack - 1500cu in Timber 1, One SizeThis photo backpack is great. I purchased this backpack in the bomber pattern and color. I love it! There are many many photo backpacks out there like Apecase, or Lowepro, etc. I went with Dakine though because I have had other Dakine backpacks for many years now, and still own them, because they are the most durable backpack I have ever used. So I knew I could rely on their dependable quality.

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTI that I use, and I take it everywhere in this backpack. Whether it be out hiking in the woods all day, walking around Pittsburgh taking photos for 10 hours, I have basically used this backpack in every possible situation, and it has never let me down. I have three lenses, my dslr, a small canon point and shoot, all my filters and accessories, such as extra batteries and many many other supplies, and even have either my full size tripod strapped onto it, or my compact Slik tripod stuffed inside. I always have this much gear in this bag, and it always stays comfortable. The padded straps are great, and so is the padding on the back of the bag, so your back does not get sore. I feel great after hiking for literally 10 hours on end.

This bag has a rain cover that covers everything, EXCEPT for the part that unzips, which is the part that would be facing your back. It is figured that that part will not get wet since it is protected by your back, and also, this is great so if it is one of those days it rains and stops about every half hour or so, you can leave your rain cover on, while still havign full access to your camera, without constantly adding the cover, then removing it, doing one giant cycle of frustration. Now as I did say earlier, the main zipper for the camera block is on the backside of the backpack, which is the side facing your back, as if you were wearing it. No one should have a problem wit hthis whatsoever, since you literally should be setting your bag down anyway to remove your camera, or replace a lens, etc.

I throw my compact tripod right inside, because it is only 14" in height. If I have my full size tripod, I simply strap it on vertically on the back and it works great. One thing I really do love about it is the fact that it has a zipper compartment on the side, that unzips, and a drink holder folds out. This is truly a must have for looooong hourly hikes. I constantly have a bottle filled with water. It will hold a bottle of Gatorade or Allsport. That's how generous the size is (small gatorade of course). This way you're not throwin a wet, condensating bottle inside your bag with all your electronics and other valuable delicate items.

This bag simply works great. At all times it holds my DSLR, 3 lenses, a point and shoot camera, a mini tripod, water, both battery chargers for my DSLR and my point and shoot, 2 extra batteries for my DSLR and one for my point and shoot, a computer transfer cable, extra memory card for my DSLR, lens cloth, rocket blower for dust, the rain cover (which comes with it), my four lens filters, extra lens cap, filter wrenches, and granola bars for that long hike when there is nowhere around to get food. Like I said also, the padded straps are great, the padding also, all make up for a great feeling hike for many hours without the pain of straps digging in or much of anything hurting. This backpack is very durable (as you can tell with all the stuff I haul) and I take it everywhere with me. You most definitely won't be disappointed.

Only one word of advice though. This comes with NO velcro straps, so you are going to want to buy some, so you can securely hold your camera and lenses in place. You will need the hook part, since the loop part of the velcro is already inside the bag. So you only need the hook straps.

I'll have to agree with a previous reviewer about the bag being a bit small. I have a Sony A580, and a few lenses, the largest, and heaviest being a Sigma 70-200. It just about fits, with a bit to spare. If I got, let's say the Sigma 24-70, I doubt if I'll be able to fit both the beasts in.

That said, I love, love, love this bag. I have room for my charger, external flash (which takes up an entire compartment inside the bag), batteries, cards etc. A thoughtful felt line zipper enclosure for the Sunglasses is greatly appreciated.

Did I mention I love this bag ? Very well constructed, sturdy zippers. Feels very good.

Now, if only my pictures can match the bag's beauty :)

I definitely recommend it !

Buy DAKINE Mission Photo Pack Now

Heres the deal in the world of camera luggage your options are endless. There is sling, backpack, messenger, etc. you need to figure out what style of bag that fits your lifestyle best. I have been fortunate enough to be able to use a handful of different styles and was never hooked on any till I came across this Dakine Mission Photo Backpack. This bag comes with just about anything I could ask for in the world of camera bags.

First lets talk about the overall appearance of the bag it Cool and confident; its takes queues from tradition snowboarding/skateboarding backpacks so it doesn't scream "Hey I have really expensive camera gear in here come steal me!"

The bag is made from high grade nylon and polyester. The zippers are a beefy YKK the strongest I've ever seen for a camera bag and some of the strongest in any luggage for that matter. There are chest and waist straps to help you secure the bag to yourself so you make is snug and a secure fit. The waist straps are padded which come in handy if you are wearing the bag for extended periods of time.

There are three small external pockets on the sides one is fleece lined for delicate items I put my sunglasses in there its a perfect fit. The other two are nylon lined and could be used for snacks or other smaller items. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I saw and read in other reviews that one of those pockets is suppose to expend into a mesh lined drink holder I got the Phantom Color and Im not entirely sure if maybe its that specific color way that didn't come worth it or maybe it was previous years that offered that unique feature and this years didn't. Either way I was a little let down not having that on the bag but Ill make due I think I'll try and fabricate something to to make it capable to hold a bottle.

The tripod carrier/board carrier has a unique texture on the inside of it that creates grip for either or. It has a deployable rain cover that pulls out and covers the entire bag expect the part that resides next to your back. A nice feature because most camera bags don't come with any type of waterproofing.

The interior of the bag is a nice lime green color which I wanted a bright colored interior because dark interiors can often be hard to locate items in certain circumstances. It has a few different pockets for pens, cables, memory cards, ipods, phones, etc.

The camera block can configure to basically any way you want it set up. It only comes with two velcro dividers so If you have a camera bag already you can just pull a few out from there and put inside this one to give you a few more slots for lenses and accessories; if you don't have a camera bag already you can purchase extra dividers on eBay or Amazon for a couple bucks.

The camera block can be removed entirely to create two separate bags. I find this to be an excellent feature if you acquire new items while your are out and need a space to put them.

This bag is everything I could ask for in a camera bag without being to big and bulky. Except the water bottle holder would have been a nice feature to have. But don't let that stray you away from buying the bag. Dakine has been making great products for years and the mission photo bag is no exception to that.

When I ordered this pack I was unsure of how useful it would be, I have a good amount of equipment but not really a good travel bag. The pack itself is very good size it can hold two bodies along with a good assortment of lenses and has plenty of small pockets in the front compartment for filters, memory cards of all sizes and and other smaller pockets for chargers and such on the two outside pockets, also the outer pockets can be reached while wearing the pack. Side pouches are large enough to fit small lenses or a small bottle of water. One nice feature that I found is the inner case that holds cameras and lenses is removable and can be worn as a shoulder pack for short excursions. The design of the pack is very comfortable and lightweight. A feature that is very handy for quick access to cameras and lenses is the zipper opening right behind the shoulder straps. Construction is top quality with heavy duty zippers and sturdy buckles.

I chose this because it does not look like a photo backpack (IMO) and will be great for traveling. It would be nice to have a quick access feature, but not a deal breaker for me. Plenty of space assuming you don't need a super-telephoto but it should hold some of your longer lenses.

This bag is comfortable. I have not taken it very far yet, but the chest and waist straps help to reduce shoulder/neck strain.

Also, I ordered the black version thinking the bag would come like in the sample photos with green logos and a grey interior but to my surprise the bag came with red logos and a red interior. It matches my canon gear =).

Herschel Supply Co. Survey

Herschel Supply Survey Backpack - 549cu in Taupe, One SizeThe bag is strangely thin and long. For those of us who have to cart around 2-3 courses worth of material, this bag is completely impractical. It's height allows for double stacking for smaller books, but I suspect this could cause some damage. The shoulders feel awkward at the seam and start to wear on your shoulders after a full day of running around on campus. Short story: this bag is a higher priced accessory for a part time student.

Pros:

Minimalist design.

Cons:

Too thin to fit more than a Mac Air and one math textbook. Double stacking seems like an option, but at the risk of damaging cargo.

No exterior pockets or even smaller interior pockets. Innerlining is delicate (like the lining in a purse) and seems easy to damage

Uncomfortable, especially at shoulders.

i love the style and look of this bag, but i wish the main pocket had a zipper. also the two pockets that the bag has are only accessible if you lift up the flap. i wish there was a smaller pocket on the flap or front of the bag that you could access without opening up the flap.

The bag is great, the front pocket is good for small stuff and the bigger and main pouch section is also great to put my mac and my books for my university classes. HOWEVER, the straps on the front part of the bag are magnetic clips, wich is really a ptoblem , i have to set my books and macbook in a special way so that the magnets dont allways unclip themselves. Also, the main pocket isnt scealable, meaning that anything could get kn or out the main pocket easily. The main problem is mostly the fact that theres no zipper closing the main section and the clips are magnetized, wich is a fail.

Herschel is a great brand, this is my 3rd bag from them and it's my favorite one. It does get some flack for having magnet closures, but they're actually really strong and it makes access much easier.

BUILT Neoprene Sleeve for 17-inch Laptop, Black

BUILT Neoprene Sleeve for 17-inch Laptop, BlackI hope this helps anyone looking for a sleeve big enough for a laptop with the same dementions as the Dell 1764. The standard 17 inch Built sleeve offered on THIS PAGE did NOT fit my Dell Inspiron 1764 (17.3 inch screen; actual dimensions: 16.54" x 1.31" x 10.87"). At first I bought the standard 17in sleeve, but it barely zipped over my laptop, compromising the protective quality Built offers and straining the seams and zipper. However, afer SCOURING the net, I found out that Built offers a 17in Wide Screen Sleeve version. It is a PERFECT fit for my Dell 1764. I am very pleased that Built offers this widescreen version, as it was very hard to find a sleeve to fit my widescreen. I could not find the wideversion on amazon, but I did find it at Adorama dot com for $23.99.

This laptop sleeve is much sleeker looking than any others I have seen and the neoprene is thick. The price through Amazon is MUCH CHEAPER than buying the product through BuiltNY or any other retailer. The first one i got came poorly packaged, and although it is neoprene and I am sure the shape of it would have gone back to normal after a few days, I was ticked off that Amazon shipped it to my bent over in half. I immediately contacted Amazaon and they had another one shipped out to me. this time it came in a 3foot wide box; overexcessive, yes, but it came in with no issues.....another reason to buy from Amazon, their great customer service!!

I would never expect a case like this to be the main form of protection for a laptop. However, it does offer small amounts of protection if you want to toss your laptop into a bag or purse.

I have a Dell Vostro 3750 and this sleeve fits prefect and hugs the laptop. The zippers are in the right spot as not the scratch the side when doing them up. The material is nice and thick to provide that protection that i wanted. I would deff buy this again.

Targus CCB1 Notebook Backpack - Black (High Density Nylon)

Targus CCB1 Notebook Backpack - BlackAs both a college man and as a man who travels a lot from city to city, this is the best way to carry a notebook computer, a good size text book and several paper notebooks. The compartment for carrying the computer provides straps to secure it, but with one quick motion you can slide the notebook out with no problem. Within the same compartment are pockets perfect for power cables, headphones, floppy disks, writing utensils, calculators, anything.

The second compartment contains three flaps which serve to organize papers, books folders and other various materials one might have, along with two side-by-side pockets large enough to fit CD's into. On the front is a pocket large enough to carry a hefty personal organizer I own and a Nokia cell-phone.

You can't beat the durability either. I dropped the case one time, nothing happened to the computer. It was left in the sun light all day inside my car with the windows up, nothing happened. This holder actually gives you the security to fling the backpack off your shoulders without worrying about the contents. I highly recommend it to anyone who worrys constantly about their equipment.

The Targus Notebook backpack is as advertised: a backpack optimized to carry a notebook. It features a padded pocket for the laptop and other compartments for all the junk that you need to bring with the laptop.

The only real drawback is that when fully loaded with a 6 to 8 lb. laptop, it's a very uncomfortable backpack. The straps just aren't adjustable enough to fit the wide range of shoulders in our office and most people who travelled with it reported pain and fatigue after a 1/2 hour of use.

This item is okay for short totes, but I wouldn't want to try dashing across an airport with a one or doing something else that requires me to wear it for a long period of time. However, if you must have a backpack for your laptop then this would be the one to get.

This is a well-made, attractive backpack suitable for today's business world. I bought this to be able to consolidate what needs to be carried to work. Upon receiving it, I kept all the tags on it and loaded/unloaded the pack over several days and was seriously considering sending it back. It has nice compartments and the computer is well protected. The pack travels well, but I think it is more awkward/heavier than carrying a briefcase style computer bag. I have been using backpacks for various things for thirty years and it seems there is something not quite right with the design. When I grab the shoulder strap to hoist it out of my car, it reminds me that it is a bit of a pain.

SeaWorld Whale Tail Back Pack

SeaWorld Whale Tail Back PackI love this backpack! I have been a whale lover since I have been born and I was so thankful to find that there was a backpack that had a whale tail stitched onto it with whale tail zipper pulls! Amazing!

First of all, in the picture, the whale tail appears to be white, but in reality it is more of a silver color, which I thought was a nice touch. The smallest compartment works well for holding my computer charger and there's even a small pocket inside the largest compartment that I can put my computer in. It helps me be able to minimize how many bags I have to carry around when I can just put my computer inside my backpack.

My main concern is just the zippers. They appear to be very fragile, like if you pulled on the actual whale tail part of them to zip and unzip your bag, they would break off. However, I have had this backpack for a while now and the zippers have not broken off. I just must say, though, that if you are to zip and unzip this backpack, I would reccommend using thering attaching the whale tail zipper pull to the backpack rather than the tail itself.

Overall, an amazing product. The straps are nice and long and for someone like me who likes longer straps, it is perfect. I love this product and I really think it is very well made.

my nephew loved this backpack especially since he in his class with sea world backpack and he loves Shamu. His mother likes the quality

Olympia Luggage Titan 21 Inch Expandable Carry-On Hardside Spinner

Olympia Luggage Titan 21 Inch Expandable Carry-On Hardside Spinner, Black, One SizeJust got the luggage today -it came in a timely fashion and nothing is damaged. Arrive in a completely acceptable condition. The whole thing just feels cheap though. I can probably get the same quality luggage at Marshall's for $20 less (paid ~$65 for this). I appreciate the free shipping, but I will probably return it and just simply pay [just a bit] more for a Samonsonite 360 which would give me better/sturdier wheels, a stronger zipper, and a toggle handle that can withstand traveling. This piece of luggage feels like it will fall apart after a few trips.

Laptop Tablet Sleeve w. Removable Strap Neoprene Case Fits Apple iPad / Samsung Galaxy Tablet / Asus Eee Pad / Acer Iconia Tab / 8' 8.9' 9' 10' 10.2' Netbook and moreI bought this for my Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is says it fits. However, my tablet is SWIMMING in this. I hate it. It's fine on the 10.2" side, but it's HUGE on the other dimension. It's a waste of money if you ask me. Plus, the neoprene material it's made from is so cheap compared to the other products on the market.

This is a really nice bag that has lots of room for everything ... with protection! Lots of protection so nothing is in there to roll around to get broken. It has a handle strap and backpack straps; both ways make it easy to carry. It is extremely sturdy; very well built and yet it is light weight. This is by far my favorite camera bag ever!!!

Therm-a-Rest Trekker Roll Sack

Therm-a-Rest Trekker Roll SackMy disappointment is because I didn't realize this was a "sack" and not the cushion. I was ordering as a gift and in a hurry, searched for camping mat and got this one, the picture looked like a mat so I clicked! my fault but I do thing the picture is misleading. My nephew received it and had no idea what it was! Have since order him a mat and well see if this thing gets any use.
