great product that will last quite a few years. i had another one of these but it was a little bit bigger and i had that one for about 7 years and i was not to careful with it and it had a few tears in it and that was it.

Just the right size for day pack use. Durable.....I've used Jansport day packs for decades. Wish it had a small extra pocket for papers, boarding pass, itinerary, etc.

I've tried a number of backpacks, and Jansports are the best for me. Not too big, not too small, not a lot of gizmos, and durable enough to last a long time. I just wish they had a FEW more pockets.

I bought one in Navy Blue for my 6th grader son. His older sister and friend insisted on it so he wouldn't be made fun of. Okaaay.

It's done well enough. He has to haul pounds of books to and from school every day--if the bottom stitching doesn't come out by springtime, it's one tough back pack. We haven't gone that far yet, so I'll have to come back and update in a few months.

My son's main complaint to me was the lack of any other pockets beside the main one in the front. It's a very basic bag. His previous bag had another larger pocket between the main compartment and the front pocket. He liked that feature. This one doesn't have that extra storage separator.

So far, it's a good basic backpack.
