I searched high and low for a carry on bag that would fit into the overhead bins on the small commuter jets that I fly in every month...I had too many flights with tight connections and waiting for my gate checked "normal" sized carryon would cause me to nearly miss a flight.This bag has fit into the overhead bin on every small plane that I fly...Canadair and Dash planes included.
This bag is so light, that using the side handle to "carry" it down the center aisle is no problem.
There are so many storage pockets in this bag, including a lined "jewelry" pocket on the front that is perfect when I have to take off my watch etc. to go through the scanner. This bag will hold more than you think it might, and the light color on the linings make finding items a breeze. I pair this with a Tumi Voyageur Backpack or the Tumi Voyageur Weekender (If I need more space) and I can travel for any length of time with this combo...

I feel this is an excellent product, especially the built in alarm, which is very loud and will attract attention if your child is ever in danger. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's too small. My child is in the 7th grade and is bombarded with books, they all can't fit. I also feel it should have more padding in the straps and back area for comfort and support. I also feel that the bag is too expensive, this is an good investment that all parents should get for their child, because of the many predators lurking around our children, but the price is not affordable for all parents, this should be looked into. We love this soft, light, colorful well-made bad. The pictures are adorable. What kid doesn't like wild animals? Our 2 year old boy can wear it easily or use the handle. The magnetized single and the simple string pull are easy for us and him to use. It holds the few things he needs for pre-school extra clothes and a thermos perfectly. He's excited to own it. He pays no attention to the two other small backpacks handed down to us, Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine, even though he likes those characters. This pack is much more attractive and tactile and it's nice not to have an over-commercialized, plastic clunky cheap bag that rips.

Bought this for my grandson for christmas, he is nearly two. It was slightly big for a child his age, but he really loved being able to pack his own bag and carry his own things. My toddler loves his own personal bag and mommy loves that she doesnt have to carry around a big diaper bag anymore. Fits his diapers, wipes, snack and small toy. Sometimes he doesnt even what to take it off. Very nice bag. I wouldnt put leaky bottles in it though. Only good things to say about this bag.
Tenba Discovery 637-322 Mini Photo Daypack - Sage/Khaki
I purchased this bag to replace my Lowepro fastpack 100, because I wanted the ability to carry my iPad (1st gen) and Canon 60D at Disney World. I didn't want a big bag, as I am going for 8 days in summer.The quality of the bag is excellent. Zippers and pockets are in good places. Side pockets are huge, and won't have any problems holding large water bottles. The shoulder straps are just right, and the sternum strap helps prevent shoulder strap creep. This bag feels light on the back, but like any bag, will get heavy when loaded up with water and lenses.
Ok, so what is the downside? I can't get my iPad in the "tablet" pocket with my very slim Yoobao cover. It's not even close. With the iPad cover removed, the iPad slides in nice. It is so snug that it becomes difficult to take it back out for quick use. Hopefully it will loosen up.
So what am I packing? I usually have a battery grip on the 60D, but unlike the Lowepro fastpack, it didn't fit well with the provided repositionable Velcro dividers. I took off the grip and it fits great while still providing room for 2 more lenses, or in my case, a 35mm Rokinin f1.4 and a speedlite flash. The 60D has a Tamron 18-270 vc lense attached.
The top area has a fair amount of room for extras, but just slightly less than the fastpack. This area does contain the included rain cover, which they claim is washable. What is really cool, is the camera padding is removable. Then the divider that seperates the camera area to the top area can be repositioned/removed making a normal (but expensive) backpack.
Final thoughts....I really like it and would highly reccomend the bag IF you really need the smallest and lightest backpack around. If you will want to access your iPad a lot, or need to keep the battery grip + 2 lenses, I would recommend the bigger model.

The bag performed flawlessly during my 8 day trip to Disney World. We got hit by tropical storm Debby, and the included rain cover was excellent! The iPad is still difficult to get in/out, but I would rather have it this way and not add to the thickness of the bag. The bag had plenty of room, and it was very comfortable to carry around when loaded up. I highly recommend this bag.

Fits 2 small or medium SLR's and 2 lenses or 1 camera and 2-3 lenses. Plus room for other stuff up top. C for table to wear and looks great too. I bought this back pack on the recommendation of a full time working photographer and I must say he was spot on. This is a very good daypack for medium and small sized gear (4/3rds). You can really cram in a large amount of gear in what looks like a small bag.I've ben photographing in the Southwest for the past 3 weeks and it's been excellent. It's quite light weight and the construction is first class. It also has a rain cover that takes up very little space. I had to use it once in New Mexico and it worked excellently. If you are in a very hot environment, having the color a tan/green is much better than black. Items in the bag won't get boiled and your back will feel better.
My only gripe about the bag is that it could use one or two more accessory pockets or the means by which you could add them. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice.

Sprayground Game Over Deluxe Mens Backpack - Multi
I am giving this item only 3 stars, not based on the product itself, but because of the company i originally purchased it from. This is a very cool backpack. Plenty of compartments for you to stash things. Very well put together, I thought. One of the seams came apart a month after use by my son. Flymode, the company I bought it from said that it was out of warranty and that they were making an "exception" in sending me a new one for free. I would have to pay for the old backpack to be sent back. I ended up calling the manufacturer, Sprayground, and spoke with them about the issue. They are not only sending me a new backpack, but paying for the return shipping of the one that is coming apart. I am hoping that the seam that is coming apart is just a fluke....this is the coolest backpack i have ever seen! If it does hold up, i will be buying backpacks from this company in the future for my son as well.

i bought this bag with a gift card i received because i got a new laptop. i probably didn't pay attention to the dimensions because it's a little larger than i expected, but i love it! the color is awesome and it holds everything! it has an easy velcro release so you don't have to pull it over your head and it's very pretty. i volunteer with a no-kill cat rescue organization and i do the scheduling so i am always carrying my notebook, volunteer applications, mailing and phone lists and general stuff. it carries all of that and sometimes my lunch too! i love this bag!
What one may not be prepared for, however, is how big the bag truly is. All of the padding makes it full-sized even when it's not carrying any items. The bag is a very deep bag to begin with, and the padding just takes away any "deflating" that you could achieve by keeping the bag mostly empty. As for the material, it's durable, but it sort of feels like a raincoat because it's a little waxy. The strap had enough adjustment range for me, but the velcro worries me a little. If you're wearing a sweater and have your strap adjusted, the velcro will be exposed and will easily snag your clothes since there is no cover provided for the velcro.
The bag is definitely durable enough to handle heavy loads, I just wish it didn't look like it was carrying a heavy load when it's practically empty.

I absolutely love this bag. It has room for my Dell 15.4" laptop and cords, as well as 2 text books and a folder. I keep my wireless mouse, headphones and pens and highlighters in the front pockets. It has enough padding that I don't worry about my 17 month old daughter damaging my laptop when she decides to try to carry the bag. The only thing I would add would be a side pocket to keep my cell phone, but that is a minor detail. I purchased this laptop bag for my daughter. Her Apple MacBook fits perfectly inside the padded Velcro secured section. The second big section in the main compartment is great for carrying a few folders and the charger. These two sections are secured snugly with a drawstring attached to a toggle.The underside of the flap, lined with a soft reddish orange corduroy material, has a Velcro attachment to the main part of the bag. The flap covers two outside zippered pockets. The smaller of these two pockets could easily hold pencils, pens, a calculator, keys, and a few small personal items. The larger pocket is divided into three sections, this is an ideal place to carry a cell phone, an iPod, a wallet; things like that.
The wide shoulder strap is adjustable and fits comfortably on the shoulder. The vivid orange and red color and design of the bag is fun and bright. Not exactly professional or mature in appearance, but perfect, I think, for a student.

Perfect sizenot too big and not bulky at all. Straps are comfortable and easily adjusted. The only thing that I don't love is how there is only one pocket. The two side pockets are good and big, but not big enough for antthing important. Other than that, great backpack!
I have just one small complaint. Without a "front" pocket, it would have been nice to have some elastic bands or small slide-in pockets in the main compartment.
And though I don't skateboard, I think the skateboard straps can come in handy for other things you might want to attach.
Tumi Luggage Tegra-Lite International Carry-On Bag
Pros: very light, spinner wheels. Zippers, wheels and handles all good quality. It holds enough for 2-4 days depending on if you need multiple shoes or female toiletries (hair dryer, makeup, etc). Personally found it best for 1-3 day business trips if carrying just a suit with shirt, undergarment changes, one casual outfit and a pair of shoes. Light weight is good for meeting weight limits with international travel. Spinner wheels ergonamically are better then the shoulder strain of tilting a 2 wheel suitcase and pulling it (this would apply to any spinner vs 2 wheel model).Cons: Does not fit a full size briefcase on top, no strap to put briefcase on front. Wheels do not roll well on carpet. Tends to tip over going from tile to carpet and on the carpet in hotels. No side strap to assist picking up from baggage claim belt or placing into overhead compartment. Integrated locks are nice note: TSA does not always relock after opening it for inspection which defeats the purpose of the integratedlock when checked in at an airport (non integrated locks require them to be more consciously closed and locked).
Overall I really like this suitcase for 1-3 day trips. If they had a Tegra continental model with spinner wheels that would help with the balance and ability to put a briefcase on top. A 22" model would also be a nice addition to the line for 3-6 day trips or for winter clothes/more clothes changes. I am now looking at the medium size which is 28" as it has a side strap and would be a better fit for multi-week international travel.
Debated between this, the continental version and the Vapor series.
I find this bag to be very durable and I'm not worried about marks which can affect the vapor series.

First flight with this bag regional flight from ORD to MDT, seats 1 passenger on one side, and 2 on another. Its a small plane! I'm 6"4 and had to duck just to get through.
Both times the attendants said I would have "to red tag it" as they said "it would not fit". Luckily, I knew the exact dimensions of this bag and felt confident that it would. I said, just let me try.

Yes, it FIT!!! When I was leaving the plane there was a line of 15 people waiting to get their bags from "valet", and they just stared at me as I easily rolled off.
THe bag is exactly what's needed, its much smaller than my previous carry on, but this one will actually fit the overhead! For me, I always overpack anyways, so this bag has me being just a bit more picky in what I bring, but it has really worked out for the better. I use another Tumi tote for my extra bag for the very long week + trips, otherwise, i just bring a t-tech brief for shorter trips.
If you are debating whether to go with the conti vs inter. I would say WITHOUT A DOUBT go with the INTERNATIONAL size!!! IT fits every plane, you won't have to worry about checking anything in, and it will simply make your packing much more efficient! As long as you have another bag with you for week long breaks, you will be set!
Also, did I mention this bag is a looker? It is a beautifully piece of equipment (I'm an audiophile and love understated tech). It feels and looks amazing. I really feel like a
million bucks walking around with this.

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Pack-It Compartment Sac
I purchased this bag as a gift but have to admit, it's the third one I've bought and I have a deep love for Eagle Creek products. I got one for myself over a year ago and have used it constantly when traveling, whether backpacking in India or just on local weekend trips. The 2 I've been using quite a bit still look brand new, zippers seem sturdy and fabric is durable & easy to clean if needed. I've used it for everything from keeping jewelry organized to wrangling undergarments to holding papers & small pocket items when going through airport security (just clipped it onto my carryon and didn't worry about losing anything or theft).When laid flat, there are 2 zip pockets on one side (each half the total length) and when you flip it over, there is a single pocket the whole length of the bag. Zip it all up and then you can fold it in half and two attached snaps hold it in place. The person who received this as a gift liked it and I think I'll probably give more as I think it's a quality made and useful product. I was a little worried that the blue color would be bright and not masculine as the gift was for a man but it comes as a fairly royal blue, it was perfect.
it's also a great way to keep stuff organised in a travel suitcase. it's small enough to fit in my purse, so it's easy to take it out in-flight when i need assorted bits like tissues or my ipod and put it in the pouch in front of my seat.
