Don't buy this if you think you are buying an all purpose day pack. There is very little structure to the pack and it works best with lightweight stuff and fully packed. It folds up tightly and works great as summit pack or to carry as an extra pack to separate gear while going for water etc. Like all Arcteryx gear it is extremely well made.
Tried unsucessfully to buy more. Couldn't find it anywhere. Easy to use, perfect for most situations. Don't like the review process demands. Brief can be good.
This pack is not meant to contend with high-adventure backpacking packs or major deployment packs. It's a value-focused, 24to 72-hour pack. However, it's built well. Notably, it appears to have quality zippers, which is one of the primary points of failure on packs/bags. The pack expands quite a bit more than I expected, and once I loosened all the compression straps I found I had plenty of room to get all of my gear in it for use as an immediate response bag, which includes a set of ACUs, a few MREs, 2 bottles of water, heavy-duty poncho, and a handful of other [less bulky] support gear (knife, lightsticks, rope, etc.)

I like the way the pack is set up. The compression straps are convenient. This pack has plenty of room in the separate compartments. The sizing and color of the pack were just what I expected. It was delivered as promised. There are plenty of molle attachment points. They are spaced evenly and seem to be solid. I have the 10x4 water bottle pouch attachment and it fits perfectly on either side of the pack. I think this bag is great especially compared to a lot of other bags. The price is amazing. I'm a k9 handler. It has room for my camel pack, I place about 6 bottles of water a bag with 6 cups of dog food, some power bars and extra scarf and I still have room. Its not bulky. The arm straps aren't very sturdy, but they work. It can be attacked to body armor with clips as well. Its an overall great day bag for the price. It came very quick as well.
The bag is made well and the main storage compartment is very large. The laptop compartment has no padding so I would not trust it with my expensive laptop. Also the insulated sleeve does not really keep anything hot or cold very well. Also I wish the bag had a few more compartments...maybe a smaller one on the front of the bag.
We have gone through many backpacks and this one has held up for 2 years. My grandson loves it and still uses it and it still looks new. This was worth the price.
Don't actually have this bag, but in the description it says "cute porcupine", it's not a porcupine, it's a Chuzzle. A Chuzzle is a puff ball from a game where you have to get 3 like colors to make them disappear. If you played the game then you could see what I mean. Just sayin.
This is a high-quality durable backpack. I've bought pottery barn kids ones in the past and this is comparable. However, I wanted something different than PBK had to offer (their preschool backpack is teeny tiny!). I am really glad I found Wildkins. It is the perfect size for a preschooler or early elementary (definately through kindergarten). It will easily fit anything standard folder size as well as a lunch box...plus some more! I love that it is black on the bottom, back, and straps. This should definately help it stay clean. I love the many choices of patterns....should have something to please every child! I bought the fairies and the mermaids. The fairies back-ground color is a cross between pink and lavendar.

Very cute backpack! It is very sturdy, well made, has two main compartments. I wish there is a mesh pocket for a water bottle on a side. Otherwise very satisfied!Nice quality, very cute print, perfect size. I was looking for something larger than the tiny kids backpacks but not as big as a school backpack. This one ended up being the perfect size. It's great for my daughter to take to preschool and will hold a lunchbox as well as a sweater and her papers, etc. The only thing that I would note is the color is more pink than purple.
I received this bag a year ago as a present, and it's still holding up strong. I'm known to load up my bags when I'm running around, and this thing can handle basically anything. I really like that it doesn't look bulky when you put a lot of things in it, and it won't make you think it's going to rip at any minute. As an extreme case, I periodically put my 15lb bowling ball in it when I want to have it with me, and the bag doesn't strain at all. The straps really give that added support that will keep the bag from stretching out of shape. I looked for the same support as this bag in cheaper options, but nothing came close to giving the same back support. You can barely tell when you have something heavy in it.

I'm a full-time college student, so I carry with me a lot of stuff as big books, scholar supplies, notebooks, laptops, cellphone, MP3, tablet and other electronic device. As you may guess, I don't have space in pockets to take all of that, lol. And a simple backpack wouldn't work. So I bought this new backpack. It is great, I like it. All my stuff fit very well. It protects all my stuff of damages and weather.
This is one of my bug out bags. It hold everything I need to carry plus water storage is a plus. Great pack.

I bought this bag based on product description and picture. When I received the bag the leather was textured and rough. I thought the bag was going to be a smooth finished leather. I also did not like the appearance of leather. It appeared to me over time the bag would look unprofessional. The interior was spacious and the size was great too. If you don't mind the texture/appearance as described above then I say it's a good deal if you get it on sale. This is my first review of any product. These bags hold up to the riggers of tough traveling. Strong, durable, made in different sized and colors. You can lock the zippers with a small pad lock. What I could to do is use the smaller bags for organization, then place then in a larger bag. I may three or four bags in one larger bag.
Took 3 days to receive my product which was supposed to be express, although not sellers fault. The post office screwed up. Sleeve is colorful and soft. Laptop fits perfectly in it. I looked at several briefcases before purchasing this for my husband several years ago. A zipper has finally failed; so, I have purchased another. I will have the older one repaired and keep it as a back up. This is just a great size. The leather wears beautifully. The straps are very secure. My husband could not manage without it. I have also purchased the same style for my son, at his request, now that he has entered the work force.
I used this on a recent trip and it worked as advertised. The bag was bigger than I thought it would be. I was able to put in the following items: netbook, ipad, ipod touch, GPS, several jewelry bags (sm), d200 with 80-200 lens and I still had a some room left. It is quite easy to use. Instructions were easy to follow. You are provided 3 keys for the lock. I made sure other members of my family had the additional keys just in case. Easy to carry in luggage. You roll the bag up with the lock and keys inside and an elastic band is provided to keep the package rolled up and transportable.

When you are seated in the airplane lock your valuables and safebag to your seat or something. I would not store valuables on my carry on luggage while it is stored overhead as it can get stolen or broken into while you are sleeping or in the lav. I traveled for two months in Asia staying in budget guesthouses and this was a lifesaver. It was a huge relief to be able to leave my valuables in the room without worrying about them. The bag easily fit a large netbook, Nikon D90 with 18-200 lens, money belt, external hard drive, phone, and memory cards.

Right when I opened the box, I felt in love with the bag, it's super practical, it has enough pocket to store your items, the fact that it comes with the hydration bladder is an A++++. Also don't forget that it has the rain cover!!
it's pretty much the same as all the other "fanny" packs i have gotten. it was comfortable during my half marathon, but it got soaking wet (mostly due to the rain) and became much heavier to wear than i had expected.
Nicely padded and structured to hold laptop, cords, papers, pens. I use this for business, so I don't want a completely unsophisticated looking backpack, but I can't use the "messenger bag" type carriers, because they give me shoulder pain. This is the best of all features---back pack that looks polished and protects my equipment very well. Worth the price!

It's huge. You may want the medium instead. But if you have lots of gear you want up and/or out there, this is the bag. I'm not a pro. I'm a dad. This bag will hold my gear (medium format film w/ 3 prime lenses, filters, tripod, the usual) and my kids stuff, too. It's made very well. I actually bought a used one. After a while the zipper started to malfunction (not close). After notifying Tenba they sent me a new one. Even though they knew I bought it used. They said it was still under warranty. This is a serious photo backpack. I am currently toting an 11-18mm, 18-55mm, 55-200mm and 200-500mm lenses, a NIKON D90 body, assorted filters, heavy tripod and ball head, battery charger, assorted cables, SD cards, a couple of camera manuals, camera and lens cleaning gear and other small photographers "junk". I bought this book bag for a number of reasons. I wanted a book bag that was made in the US. The only plastic on this book bag are the zippers which everyone has and unavoidable. I am hard on the straps to where they rip off because usually i have too many heavy books. I don't have to worry about the straps no more because of the book bag itself is built so well and sturdy. In fact, I don't see me ever needing to buy another book bag, so it's worth the full price. If you are a college student like me then you'll need the Large Duluth Backpack. I recommend this product to all college and high school students. Would work well for hunting or hiking.
