Backpack feels sturdy, the material seems to be able to handle a lot of abuse.5 pockets:
Two small side pockets, are useful for things that normally fall to the bottom of your backpack.
One Center, pockets for pens/pencils and notepads
One Top, the sides are lines with a kind of fine microfiber material, I store my cellphone here.
One Main, a fine microfiber material line the laptop pocket, while the rest of the pocket has enough room for an additional 1" binder or two.
It's a great looking backpack.

I ordered this bag because I needed something that would carry a LOT of stuff. This one looked the best for the price and I really liked the color (even if it wasn't that realistic for me). When I got it, it was wayyyy bigger than I had expected. It was almost too big, but when you put stuff in it and pull up the draw strings, it looks just fine. I loved that it had a zip pocket in the front, snap pockets on the sides, and a little pouch on the inside. The buckles on the top flap unbuckle as well as snap and have magnets which hold up really well much to my surprise. I was also very pleased that it had a liner, as I needed something that would protect it's contents on days it rains on my way to class. Personally, I don't carry my 15" macbook in it because it doesn't really feel sturdy enough for my computer's weight, but if I absolutely needed to I could and still have a ton of room for textbooks, notebooks, supplies, anything I might need. The bag is made of canvas-like material, which I'm not entirely sure how to clean, but surprisingly didn't pick up as much grime as I had expected. Got compliments on it the first day and still get compliments months later. I'd recommend this product to anyone.
All I got to say is that it came in good condition, it is true to color (off-white, creamjust like what is stated) and size. I was a bit nervous about its actual size since it arrived in somewhat what of a smallish package but no complaints here. It fits my macbook just fine and I can throw in quite a bit of other items like a few thin notebooks or one or two think ones. More than that and I would probably fall backwards. I'm a film student so I don't normally, if ever, carry more than a notebook to my classes.
So don't expect this to carry multiple books that each weigh several pounds. The fabric is not that thick.
So get this if you want a simple and stylish backpack to carry around school or even for traveling purposes. Enjoy!

The shipping was suuuper fast, I got it 2 days after I placed my order.The color is different from the picture; it's more of a tan color but it still looks good.
But what i love most about the bag is that it can carry so much. Based off of the other reviews I was not sure how the bag would look if it was so large, but let me tell you it is perfect. The only thing I am concerned about is the zippers. They seem a little flimsy, but other then that, great bag :)

I have nothing bad to say about it. First of all, I ordered it Friday and got it Monday. The shipping was extremely fast! I opened it up and it was huge. I got fit five regular sized binders, two textbooks, and I could probably fit my laptop of I tried. It's also exactly what it looks like in the picture. It's kind of beige--not off white-and it has brown straps. Note that the material is pretty cheap, but if you take good care of it, you shouldn't have any problems.Save 64% Off

Saddle bag that fits my smartphone (Galaxy Note 2) as well.It is not looking too big, but there is room enough for a tire, keys, phone and a light jacket.

I've been using mine for a few years now. I picked it up at the Philly Bike Expo when I had a chance to meet the guys from Green Guru. It has been the perfect bag for my cross and mountain bikes. It might be a little big if you are into the minimalist look on the road, but it carries everything I need. I can usually carry two tubes, tire levers, a few CO2's and inflator, a multi tool, and even has room for my ID and some money. The rubber outer keeps everything inside dry, and makes it easy to clean. The neoprene straps holds everything securely and stretches to compact it all together. On the inside, the recycled plastic bottle fabric is tough and easy to clean too. The shifter saddle bag is really roomy for an under the seat bag. I like that it didn't seem to need all the bulky foam padding to keep it's shape. There is a bit of reflective piping on the back of the bag that would help a bit with visibility when dusk begins to set in. I like the logo and really appreciate what this company is trying to do with recycled materials.

I use this as a diaper bag/purse. I have two daughters and I feel everything I need for an outing fits perfect. I love using a messanger bag as a diaper bag because my hands are usually quite full with children and normal diaper bags tend to fall off my shoulder or get in the way of hand holding. I have gotten a ton of compliments on this! Its very strong and sturdy and has lots of space.
Dakine 20-Litre Heli Pro Pack
I bought this backpack a few weeks ago, and it came a day early which was a plus. The backpack I bought for school, and also to use for snowboarding. Its a great school backpack, it will hold my laptop, a few spiral bound notebooks, a couple of text books and it will still have room to spare. The backpack works great for me on the mountain, I can fit a water bladder into the laptop compartment, it will hold a nice size lunch, will fit lots of extra gear, including a tent, and when the board is strapped on it feels like its part of you. Even with all the stuff you pack in it you still can keep your form. The backpack has a heavy duty waterproof material, which should give it a long life span, and the zippers are heavy duty as well. So far this is one of the best backpacks I have owned, the only complaint is that the bright yellow has more of a green tint to it, this is a minor detail.

I bought this pack and thought it has insulated sleeve for water reservoir, i was wrong. However, it is indeed *hydration system compatible* but just wouldn't work for me without the insulated sleeve.The pack is very roomy and looks like it's quite solid. Lots of pockets for avalanche tools and fleece-lined goggle bag. I ordered color forden and everything matches the pic (so there is front pocket). If you just use the pack without hydration system in backcountry, or use it in a not-so-chilly day with a camelbak omega reservoir (so the tube is already insulated), this is a nice choice.

I have had another Dakine Heli Pro back pack, and it is a fantastic backpack, and very well built. The only negative side is that the 20-Litre size seems a bit small for what the backpack seems to be designed for.

Ranipak Durable Solid Flap Global Computer Backpack
The Ranipak computer backpack I bought is black. The black color is dark black, so it goes with most outfits I wear. What attracted me to this bag is the shape of the bag. It is slightly wider on top than the bottom, which is unique in that it goes with the shape of your body's torso and thereby making it fashionable. This backpack has quite a few compartments for electronic goods, but it would have been nice if they made a compartment to hold pens.The largest compartment is the main compartment that is closest to your back (when you wear the bag). There is no zipper on this compartment, but the flap is cut and shaped in a way that the compartment is well protected from rain because the sides fold inward. The nice thing about not having the zipper is that it makes the compartment easy to access once you unbuckle the flap, and there's more space available to allow over stuffing the main compartment. I put my 15.6 inch laptop into it, and it has plenty of room to put more things into it. Inside the main compartment is a large sleeve, that is approximately half the size of the main compartment, to carry smaller devices such as an iPad/tablet or even cables (well padded by a lining that feels like the material on a wetsuit--neoprene). This sleeve also has no zipper, for easy access. The downside is to never turn this bag upside down or smaller items in the main compartment will fall out. However, all the other compartments in front of the main compartment have zippers and are well protected even if the bag is turned upside down.
The next compartment, located in front of the main compartment, is 2/3 the size of the main compartment, but it has a zipper. Within it are three pockets (large, medium, small) made of the neoprene material. The large pocket can easily carry a Kindle Fire. The medium pocket is about the size of a floppy disk and the small pocket is the size of a credit card, but large enough to hold an ID card such as those for work. Other than that, this secondary compartment can hold all the personal belongings safely. This secondary compartment is about the size of a medium sized pocket book, which would be convenient for women. For guys, this compartment is large enough to put extra books or a couple of magazines.
In front of the secondary compartment is a thin zippered sleeve that is padded to carry an external hard-drive or a 7" Kindle Fire. It's approximately 1/4 the size of the bag. Next to it is a small zippered sleeve for a telephone, but only large enough for an iPhone with its protective cover. Anything larger than an iphone will not likely fit into it. The great thing about these two compartments is that the zipper each face out to the sides under the flap. This allows you to access each of these smaller compartments without having to open the flap. So, if a phone call comes in, you just have to reach in from the side to unzip and get the iphone without unbuckling the flap. The last zippered compartment, located on the right side of the bag, is for carrying a water bottle or cables. The water bottle/cable compartment is hidden, and takes up space within the main compartment. It is probably more appropriate for cables than a water bottle because there is just a thin polyester cloth that separates this compartment from the main compartment.
This bag is the most light weight computer bag I have ever gotten, and I've expereienced many computer bags. It weighs about one to two pounds. The material is mainly water repellent 1000d twill poly/non-toxic tarpaulin with durable seatbelt nylon straps that are adjustable (according to the label). The material on this bag is not stiff, so the flexibility causes the bag to change shape based on what you put into it. The bag will bulge out if the item in the bag is round and not flat. If the item in the bag is flat, then the bag will take the flattened shape. My only issue (other than wanting a pocket for pens) is that the bottom of the bag is not cushioned, which can cause a thump when you drop the bag. So, as long as you don't drop the bag, this is a great bag for its looks, light weight, easy access to things, large size, flexible shape and good double stitching (keeps bag strong). It's very comfortable to carry because of its cushioned straps and back padding. This bag is strong enough to hold textbooks if you don't have a laptop to put in it.
It has two design flaws that bother me and they could have been easily avoided. First, the strap is sewn onto the big flap on the back more than half way down. If the pack is less than half full or so I cannot take enough slack out of the adjustable lower strap because having the top snap so close to the bottom one will not allow for it. If the top snap was fixed in place about three inches higher up this would not be a problem. Consequently, the flap is a bit looser than I would like much of the time.
The other issue is the aesthetics of the two tone vinyl coated flap. I am sure the vinyl coating adds some water resistance, but it looks tacky. What is even more puzzling about this design decision is that it doesn't cover the top of the flap which is the area most likely to get the worst of the rainfall if you get caught outside in a storm. So, what is the point of having the vinyl at all? It looks ugly and isn't very functional.
I bought this item for 22 dollars in a lightening deal. If I had paid the regular full price of 64 dollars I would have sent it back to Amazon after inspecting it. For the money I paid, I am happy with it for carrying lots of gear and documents.

I bought this in the daily deals section and have been happy with it, but would not pay the $65 list.It is a comfortable backpack and right-sized for two or three books and a laptop. It has two small zippered pockets and two medium zippered ones ones. The top of the main compartment is closed by a flap and things can fall out if it gets turned upside down. The material and stitching seem to be high quality. It looks good and feels comfortable as a backpack.
Overall it works well for hauling things in and out of the SouthBayMachine school lab.

This bag is really nice. I have a much more expensive backpack but I've ditched it for the buckle-convenience and sleek black look of this bag. I even chose it over my leather laptop bag since it's so much more comfortable (especially when carrying heavy textbooks around), it has more space available, and it not water-sensitive. I wish it had a few pen/pencil loops sewn in, as I imagine if I'm not careful I might have pen marks staining the inside, but there are still nice pouches inside to keep them in. This bag comes highly recommended from me.

My son loves it! I do too. It's very cute. Biggest question I had when ordering was size. Shakespeare makes one child-sized pole that is just under 3' and one over 5'. This is the shorter of the two, which works well for my little guy. If you want a longer one then go with a longer/non-telescopic pole. The fishing pole works very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because when it came the fishing string (for lack of a better term) was all messed up in the reel. I had to figure it out myself and fix it. Once I did all was well! I was a bit worried about getting the telescopic kind, but it works quite well and stays extended well. The sunglasses and little fishing box are very cute! I think this would make a wonderful gift for a little guy!

I bought this pair because I never check luggage on flights. You are allowed two pieces of carry on and these two work great for that. There is plenty of room for everything you need split between the two pieces for an extended trip. I like the fact that I can zip off backpack when I am day tripping and haul all that I need including my laptop. Everything is well made with a lot of quality put into the pieces. When wheeling through an airport once with the two pieces zippered together, a lady said, you won't be able to take that on the plane (because together, it looks too big), so I showed her how it unzips and you have your two allowed pieces. Very cool luggage and it looks great too.

Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Backpack
I purchased this backpack for a month-long trip to India. After obsessively reading many different backpack reviews, I settled on this one for the optional detachable day pack and it's compact size. I was able to fit everything I needed into this pack and had no difficulties using the entire bag as a carry-on for the plane rides.When traveling by train, I took advantage of the lockable zippers. I found that using packing cubes helped significantly when moving in and out of different places.
I am 5'6" and was fitted at a local store before purchasing the small size.
I am a female 5ft7in approx 150lbs and I think this pack is the perfect size for me. I could carry it easily. However, I mainly carry just clothes and toiletries around (no camping, hiking gear), so you may want to look at other packs if you are looking to carry all that stuff. If you are debating between the 55L and 70L, I would go with the 55L because it will help you limit yourself and travel light.
I would also recommend getting packing cubes. They work great! Overall, I love this osprey pack and would highly recommend it. Osprey also has a terrific warranty.

Went on a 2 week backpacking adventure through South East Asia. Wanted something light, strong, highly functional, and just big enough but not too big that I can't carry it on. The Osprey Fairpoint 55 did not disappoint. Took it right into the cabin with me on my trans-Pacific flight and right into the cabin in small jets to small prop planes too. Never an issue. Plus, if the pack gets a bit too big and you think you'll get flagged to check it in when you check in, you just snap off the small backpack and just carry it in the other hand.It's very, very well engineered and SUPER light. Very comfortable to wear as well for longer periods of time.
If you're looking to do a few weeks and are an efficient packer, definitely consider this pack. It's quality
