Thule Crossover 19 Liter Sling Pack
This Thule bag is more generalized. I can use it for a meeting at the local coffee shop or a cross-country trip.
The bag is medium-sized and does not offer serious competition to a good-sized backpack. It holds my Lenovo X220 with its 12.6" screen and slice battery comfortably, but a 15.6" screen computer will not fit.
At the back of the pack, nestled snug against your back, is a slide in pocket for the computer. It is not well padded, so you want to be somewhat careful about how you handle the pack. There is a single large mesh-fronted and zippered pocket to hold accessories. I would be happier if this pocket were divided into two sections. The way it is, if you load with AC power adapter, mouse and other accessories, they are going to wind up jumbled in a mess. This main compartment is large enough to accommodate a pretty thick stack of papers or a change of clothes.
Continuing to the front is another zippered compartment with five small pockets which can be used for media players, small cameras and the like. There is also a larger mesh-fronted zippered pocket6 for more small items. This compartment is just a bit too small for carrying 8.5 x 11 documents.
At the front, there is a single zippered compartment, only a few inches deep, suitable for a cell phone and other small items. It is not divided into smaller compartments, so the contents may become jumbled.
There is also a large holder on the side for water bottles or whatever else you would like to store in it.
Construction is totally top-notch. The bag fabric is sturdy, the stitching appears sturdy. Zipper pulls are large and the tabs covered with a rubbery substance. The back has two large foam pads to ease the burden on your body. The strap is wider than most, adjustable to fit almost any girth and very nicely padded in the shoulder area.
Overall, this is an extremely comfortable bag, even for people like myself with back and neck problems. The bag is capacious enough for most needs. My only reservation is that I would have preferred more segmentation in some of the compartments. But, if I use mesh bags, I can pretty much overcome that problem.
In my opinion, the Thule Crossover 19 Liter Sling Pack merits serious consideration.
Jerry I picked up my sling pack at the post office and immediately put it to use. The (boxed) case for my iPad and two other packages fit in easily. As I ran several errands, I kept adding things to the pack. Everything, including my purse, fit in comfortably.
The designers at Thule have thought about just about everything. There are more than enough compartments for you to organize your cords, accessories, and maybe a book or two. The case is reinforced, so you can lean back with it still over your back and not worry about cracking anything inside.
The strap is wide and well-padded. Very comfortable. In fact, the whole pack is strategically padded for comfort. Not only does it adjust good fit for short people but there's a velcro tab to keep the excess neatly wrapped. An external zippered compartment on the strap, designed for sunglasses, will be perfect for my house keys and MetroCard.
The look is sleek enough to be appropriate for professional events and rugged enough to withstand travel and rain. I'm currently juggling my belongings and a cane, so I really appreciate the easy access and the lightness of the pack, even when fully loaded. I also like the extra handle that allows you to carry it in your hand. The only possible problem with this product is that it does not seem possible to wear it over your right hip. Still, it sits firmly enough on your back that this shouldn't be an issue. It's the most comfortable and functional pack I've ever owned.

The Thule laptop bag is a handsome and very functional carrying case for my 13"Macbook Pro. The computer slips easily in and out of the padded interior pouch.
There are plenty of interior pockets including two zippered ones to keep cables and
other accessories in good order. In addition to the zippered main pouch, a second
zippered pouch offers further storage options. There's even a small zippered pouch
on the padded shoulder strap.
This bag is very well made with great attention to details. The wide padded shoulder
strap is very comfortable and comes with an attached velcro strip that allows excess
strap to be neatly folded and secured. The back of the pack has two pads to cushion
impact against my side or back. Two small handles are sewn in at convenient points
allowing me to grab the bag easily without having to pull it up with the strap itself.
This is a very nice feature. Zippers are heavy-duty and quite visible. There's an
outside pouch for pens and other small items.
The shape of the bag is more like a small gym bag or backpack than a standard
rectangular computer bag. I like the fact that the Thule bag does not look like a
computer case. When traveling, it might make me less of target for a thief. On the
downside, it is not as effective as the standard rectangular case when it comes to
storing notebooks, file folders, or other paper documents.

This backpack is perfect for a young person with a good back that needs a way to carry their laptop efficiently. The large logo gives it a retro sport look rather than a subtle simple look that I personally prefer, but this can't be beat on simple functionality. Very sturdy construction, and the dividers are well padded, allowing several tech items to be carried together. Great, great bag. I wore it for the first time during this year's Comic Con 2012, and couldn't have been more pleased. Super light weight, easy to access, all around well designed. Immediately accessible items, handy handle for when it's not on your back, low profile color scheme and logo, and heavy duty zippers that seem likely to last and unlikely to jam. Highly recommended.CLEARANCE Vibrant Crocheted Backpack with Beaded Trim
OGIO Luggage Varney Computer Case
This is the second attempt at replacing it. Last was a Targus, and they just are not tough enough (or large enough).
This Varney case is sweet and holds my 15.4" laptop (though I wonder at the very thin padding on the bottom).
It could be fairly larger and /still/ fit under the seat on any airline. It's very cramped in the various spaces.
I wish it was 6" "deep", with expanding pockets. The seams at the bottom of most compartments are very tight and don't include horizontal spacing.
Too bad, the style is impressive this bag really looks good. They don't offer anything similar to this that is larger so I've had to return it.
If there are any issues with that process, I'll update this post.

I bought this case because I needed something new. It fits my laptop, e-reader and iPad, plus all the chargers. Perfect case. This case is great looking and has just enough room (corner to corner) for your 17" laptop. The good news is that you can fit everything that you need, but don't plan on bringing the 'kitchen sink' with you. The bag looks slim and professional. I would definitely recommend it.Lillebaby Stockholm Diaper Bag
The outer material on one of the side pockets began to rip. This didn't mess with the bag's functionality, so I continued to use it anyway, until yesterday when the pull to the zipper just completely broke off. There is no way to fix this! I am so sad too because it took me a long time to finally choose a bag that fit all my needs, but I do not recommend purchasing this bag if you plan on using it for more than a few months.I purchased this diaper bag because I wanted a bag that looked more like a purse. This bag is great and I really like that it can attach to the stroller. It has an outside zipper pocket that I use for my wallet and I use one of the two inner pockets for my other items. It is very roomy inside for dipaers, a small balanket, and some toys. I love the flap that contains the wipes, that is genius. The changing pad is a bit short in length. I always bring some really thin disposable small chux pads with me to put under my baby's bottom so it works, or else I don't bring the changing pad at all. I love this diaper bag and also the Lillebaby's carrier.
Buy Lillebaby Stockholm Diaper Bag Now
This is a relatively small sized diaper bag made of good quality material with useful pockets and compartments.I've had it just a few weeks but like the ability to take what I need for a few hours out-3 or 4 diapers, wipes, diaper cream, hand spray, burp cloth, extra blanket, change of onesie, water bottle for me, wallet etc in the pocket. However, it probably won't provide enough space as the diapers and clothes get bigger or if I need to carry baby bottles. But I think it's a good size for most short trips out.
And the changing pad is just big enough right now for my newborn--it will be a bit skimpy as she grows, so I may need to carry a separate pad.
Other complaint is if it is full and you close the zipper, a section of the zipper may separate close to the starting end. It can be fixed once you unzip it fully, but it does not maintain being closed if the bag is too full. Since the bag zips on a curve and doesn't have any stretch or give around the zipper, it isn't forgiving of an extra item or two.
Just to keep in mind.
But I'll definitely keep it and use it, with a larger bag already purchased for bigger days out.
LeSportsac Large Basic Backpack
my girl love it.
xxx xxx xxx x xx xx xx xxI bought the first Lesportsac tote last year and fell in love with it ever since, now I had three different bags. It's the kind of bag you can put anything in, books, laptop, food, water, they are able to hold all my heavy stuff, whether for work, weekend trip or occasional gym visit. I guess I'll use these bags for a long long time.
High Sierra Burnout Backpack
Pros:
everything fits! With room to spare
Seems pretty weather resistant. I've been caught in some serious rain showers and all my valuables made it home fine.
The padding on the shoulders is very comfortable so as long as you can lift the weight you wont hurt your shoulders
There is lots of pockets to organize everything
The laptop pocket easily fits my laptop and I feel that its secure and doesn't bounce around a lot
The quality so far is great! No loose material or signs of wear
Lots of places to attach keychains or buttons to make it yours if your'e worried about such things
Cons:
It can get very heavy (not really the bags fault just how much stuff can fit)
I have the blue one and, in the photo, the mesh parts look grey but the entire back pack is the same blue color.
I think it looks a little big when I wear it but I would rather have everything I need then look like a model :P
Over all this backpack was the right choice for me. Its not the cutest thing in the world but it gets the job done with security and quality. And all my buttons make it mine!New backpack for 6' 9th grade son. Carries lots of books all day. Good padding & support. Attractive. Very happy with it.

It is a little heavier than some others with the same volume (extra zippers, pockets, straps, compartments all add up), but the "square" size (fits strict airline dimensions better than round packs) and extremely versatile storage configurations are great. My wife wanted a lighter, better fitting bag so she bought the Osprey Kestral 48 which weighs a pound less, but her pack is a top loader (geared more for backpacking) and doesn't have near the travel features of the Mother Lode (better organization, lockable zippers, etc.). My wife's Kestral is comfortable for her and the hip belt is very good (a weakness with the Mother Lode), but it is slightly taller and tubular and has difficulty fitting the foreign airline carry-on size restrictions, as well as her having to empty the pack to get at something in the bottom (she does use packing cubes however). It also cost her 3 times as much as I paid.
I solved the Mother Lode hip belt problem (it comes with a thin retaining hip belt w/clip but this cannot transfer any weight to your hips, something you do want to do when carrying it on longer "hikes") by wearing a larger fanny pack tightly stuffed with my fleece jacket and some clothes underneath the Mother Lode to create a "shelf" for the Mother Lode to rest on taking weight off the shoulders. I even customized the fanny pack slightly by sewing a strip of neoprene (rubber side out) to the inside of the fanny pack (against your back) to prevent the fanny pack from slipping (if you have hips you might not need to do this but my torso is fairly straight). You can use the lightweight hip strap (included) to hold the MLode close to your back or somehow clip or tie it to the fanny pack if you need this. Works fantastic. An added bonus is that the fanny pack can also be used separately on shorter day hikes If E-Bags ever adds a decent hip belt this bag would be PERFECT.
Amazon currently has free return shipping for this bag (if ordered under Clothing & Accessories), so I encourage you to order it, try it out (for fit and weight handling) and if you don't agree with all the other reviewers, send it back for a full refund I doubt you will. I think it is a fantastic travel bag!

I just received this and here are my initial impressions:Construction: Solid. This appears well made and stitching is strong.
Color: The eggplant is true to the picture. The interior contrasting color is rust.
Main compartment: Surprise there is an expansion zipper. If the product description included this, I missed it. This allows the main compartment to expand an additional 2" to a total depth of 6.5". The center divider clips at the top of each side and can be unclipped to lie flat. There is a 10" x 5.5" pouch that snaps in. The "lid" has a full sized zippered mesh compartment. The clothing straps are solidly built and attached at the bottom with clips at the top to thread the straps through.
Closing the main compartment: The zippers are well constructed although it did require a bit of "back and forth". This may have been because the bag was empty. There are 4 plastic side release luggage strap/clips for further compression and security.
External compartments: The top zipper in the back opens to the laptop compartment with a sling to secure the laptop in place. (Nice touch) The top zipper in the front opens to a pouch that is 5.5" deep (as measured from the lowest point in the front.)
The large front compartment is the size of medium sized backpack with 3 interior zippered compartments and a two small pouches (one is convenient for storing a pen the other may hold a calculator or similar sized item.)
The zipper on the exterior of the backpack "flap" accesses a compartment the size of the whole flap.
A side zipper on the backpack area opens to reveal a sewn-in bag with a drawstring top. (Another surprise) I am not sure of the intent of this but I think it would be perfect for holding sunglasses or reading glasses. In this same compartment is access to a slot for your ID visible to the exterior of the pack. (Again, nice touch)
Straps: It took me a minute to locate the backpack straps. They are stored in the zippered area on the back of the pack. They are securely sewn in at the top and once removed from the pouch will attach via a plastic clip to the bottom of the pack. There is also a waistband strap included for weight distribution. The straps seem to be well padded. Also included is a carrying strap if you prefer to hang this on your shoulder. I don't see myself using this feature.
Purpose: This will be my carry-on for overseas flights. It will store under the seat in front of me and easily slide out for me to use as a footrest while sleeping. (That's my intent anyway)
My only disappointment was when I saw the label "Made in China". I do try not to purchase items manufactured there due to their labor standards.

I wanted a bag that would hold everything I needed for my work week, would be easy to carry through the airport, and wouldn't have to be checked. I chose the junior bag because I'm only 5'3", but worried it would be too small for my needs. I am amazed at how much I can fit into this bag. It holds all my clothes, my laptop, my 10" tablet and so much more. And it's not a bulky wheeled bag so I never get stopped and told I will have to check it.My wife bought me this as a birthday present after she got one and I made positive comments. I think it is a well built and designed bag especially for the business traveler in mind with the various pocket placements and heavy duty zippers. It is expandable with a zipper pull and has four corner compression straps to help secure. Over a standard backpack, this one hinges open so you have quick and easy access to your items. The main compartment has a divider in it so all your stuff does not settle to the bottom which work well with cube packs I use for packing. Well placed pockets for travel paperwork to stay handy and padded place for the laptop. I use just a single strap crossed at an angle for carrying but also has a seperate padded strap you can use to carry over your shoulder to the side and has three handles to pick it up by built in.The clips and connection points however are made of plastic so am personally a little skeptical how they hold up over time but by reviews I have read, this does not seem to have been a issue for others. All said, I am very happy with this purchase so far and would recommend it to my friends. Happy and safe journeys!Shakespeare Batman Backpack Kit Combo

I needed a bag that would fill the following conditions:
Pack it completely on the last of my consecutive days off, to take with me to my station for three days of riding in the morning after coming off shift, complete with before-ride and during ride nutrition, shoes, bottles, and all of my electronics;
Keep my helmet, Halo pro-tex, and Oakley lenses/cleaner all together INSIDE the bag;
Store all of the other accouterment essential to riding stored as well, including sunscreen, chamois cream, embrocation, extra gloves, arm warmers, leggings, shoe covers for cold weather, recovery drink mix, extra gels and other nutrition items, extra hydration drink mix, and so forth.
I still use this bag every day for my cycling gear and needs, and I can't imagine living without it now. I have one thing I don't particularly care for about this bag, and that's the lack of a shoulder strap, but to be honest it's not that big a deal to me personally. The straps permit it to be worn like a backpack, but I have never found any need to carry it that way either.
Just for the record, this is a LARGE bag. If you are looking for just a generic, everyday to-the-gym bag, this bag will probably be too much for that. This bag is definitely aimed at people who race, or do a lot of training on bikes (or triathlons), and really does an outstanding job at that.

there's a pocket for everything, I have all the stuff i want with me when i go ride and i know where everything is, after my ride i throw my sweaty gear in the vented pocket underneath, put my shades in the sun glass pocket and grab my recovery drink from the outside bottle pocket and I'm good to go. You can tell that they have really put some thought into this bag every detail is great, the handles that double as shoulder straps are comfy and handy, I love the vented sweaty clothes pocket, the sunglasses pocket was initially too small for the case of my Radar Switch lock glasses, but oh wait they have made it so that you can take the protective insert out of the pocket so it can fit larger glasses cases. they really have through of everything and the quality is great. the only thing that's a bit of a pain but there is no getting around is that if you stick your shoes in the shoe pocket and say, your camel bak in the opposite pocket, there really isn't a whole lot of room in the main pocket, particularly if you use the awesome helmet pocket. but really unless they found a way to defy physics there is no way around this.I took this bag with me on a trip to Colorado and you would not believe the bag envy from my fellow riders.

I love this bag. Large separate vented area for wet / dirty clothes. Large main compartment for main gear. 2 side compartments, 1 big enough for 2 pairs of shoes. A hard case area for things like GPS watch, MP3, earphones etc. A cell phone hard shell area. You can carry it like a duffle bag or wear it like a back pack. The only down sides (and this is very minor) is it might actually have too many pockets. I can't find anything to use the smaller side nutrition etc pockets for. Luckily, they don't take much space, so I don't feel like any space is wasted, more like an option that I just don't take advantage of.I have had many gym bags. I have used duffle bags, duffle bags with several compartments, back packs, etc. This thing is far and away the best bag I have had, and was totally worth the money.I took this through an airport and somehow black grease from the luggage belt got smeared on the white part. I couldn't scrub it off. I regret buying white.
JanSport Superbreak Colorblock Classics Series Daypack
On to the product. When I opened the box, my first impression of this item was not good at all. I'll break this down into the different parts of the backpack:
Material: The material is much thinner than I expected. I have my doubts on whether it will hold up over time.
Sturdiness: I also was unhappy that there was no type of support on/in the base of the bag. That and the flimsy material result in the bag constantly falling over unless it's packed full of books. It certainly won't stand on its own when empty either, unless stuffed full of tissues (like the impression the product page image gives).
Padding: The padding is another poor spot for me. The foam in the straps is pretty firm and I'm not sure if you wouldn't be just as good without it altogether. The padding on the back of the bag doesn't even run the width of the bag! If you look at the product images, the pad stops where the straps are (about 2" from the sides), so if you carry the pack over one shoulder you'll most likely have books poking you.
Construction/Design: The stitching and zipper on the bag are it's only redeeming qualities for me. The nylon zippers are pretty beefy and probably the same used on more expensive JanSport products. There are NO additional pockets other than the large one on the front. This definitely limits your ability to keep things organized.
Value: Poor. This isn't what I would expect from a JanSport product. I paid $28 for the purple bag for my son. There were a few other colors a little less expensive, but that's about the average price and as usual, Amazon had the best price. This replaced a 2 yr old Transformers backpack that frankly was better made and purchased at a discount brick and mortar for half the price. Whether or not it lasts as long remains to be seen. The only reason I've given it at least 2 stars is because it hasn't been tested yet. I will post an update after the bag has some miles on it.All of my kids have used Jansport backpacks for years. They are great, durable and light weight. I would say this size is good for up to 6th or 7th grade. Although my 8th grader crams in alot and has maxed out it's capacity and it is still going strong. I've never had to use Jansport's lifetime warranty. Cute backpacks too!

Field Operator's Action Pack / Computer Backpack
Until recently I had been using an ancient European Style Rucksack Backpack Heavyweight Canvas Bag that has done yeoman's duty for years. I wanted something with molle attachments that would be a bit more comfortable on long hikes. I haven't taken this Fox bag on a serious outing yet, but I have loaded it up and worn it around, and can say that it is much more comfortable. The chest strap and belt distribute the weight very well, and there's good padding on the back side of the pack.
The organizational options of the bag are also very good. There are four molle fields on the pack itself, and attachments all along the padded belt. There are six compartments, including the main one, most of which have a variety of pouches and dividers. See my customer images if you'd like more details on those.
I will report back when I have a chance to really abuse this pack this summer, but it seems to be pretty solid, and a good option at the $60 price point. Provided that nothing breaks when I catch it on a branch or roll it down a hill, I'm happy with it.
++++++++++
Update: 3/25/13
At this point, I've logged a lot of hours hiking around with this pack, with about a 30-pound load in it most of the time, and there have been no failures whatsoever. The zippers all still zip, no seams have burst, and all the straps and buckles are still functioning well.
The main straps do gradually work themselves loose on occasion, causing the pack to ride too low on the back, but usually I can just cinch them up a bit as I'm walking and I'm good to go. The chest strap has turned out to be more helpful than I'd originally thought it would be. The quick release buckles on the main straps make it easy to take the pack off when it's on tight.
I'm still quite pleased with the purchase. It's a good bag for the money. This is an amazing bag. I was looking for a good load and go, 72hour type bag for all the crap I take with me on missions. I was a little concerned about how much this puppy could hold. Well, I was suprised when I recieved it and was able to fit all my normal gear and then some. Bravo Fox, for creating a better practical bag than the cheap junk the US Army issues and expects us to use.

It's a little larger than I was looking for since I use it for carrying my stuff while commuting back and forth to work, but not so much as to be an issue. I was going to get black, but for some reason it was $20 more at the time, so I got tan instead. This is fine except it's more likely to show dirt. The pack is well-made and rugged with a nice handle. I carry a water bottle in it now, but since it's designed to accept a hydration bladder, I think I'll add one soon. Also has a small pocket at the top which is perfect for my smartphone. The pocket has access to the small slit for the bladder tube, so it's easy to thread earbuds. This puppy backpack harness is super cute and huggably soft. We first introduced it to our daughter as a doll and she would hug it and pat it because it was so soft. Then when she started to walk, she was thrilled to bring her favorite puppy dog along. Great idea and great execution. The "leash" part is also plush, which is nice. It tucks into the backpack when not in use. I wish it was a little bit longer, though (it's about 4 ft long I would guestimate). Backpack straps are adjustable, though maybe too easily. The only negative is that the shoulder straps are not plush and can irritate my daughter's neck. Luckily we started using it during winter so usually she has a sweater or a jacket on. Other than that minor complaint, we use it all the time and always get compliments about it. Most importantly, my daughter loves it and likes wearing it when we are out.Read Best Reviews of Jeep Backpack Harness, Puppy Here
This is a very cute way to keep track of my two year old. We just got it today. However, I am very disappointed to see that the front clasp on the harness doesnt stay closed. I dont know if this is faulty craftmanship or what but not happy that now I have to go through the trouble and mail it back.Update: after spending 10.70 to return the faulty item priority mail I received another one as requested. The one that was sent to me has a clasp that has the same piece on each side. It is impossible to close. I dont know where this seller got their product but this is ridiculous. I wont purchase from them again. When my harness arrived, the zipper had not been sewn properly so I had to repair it myself. Then the zipper fell off. The quality control dpt was asleep on the job. I had to throw it away.
