Belkin 15.4" Quilted Laptop Carry Case

Belkin 15.4-Inch Quilted Carry CaseThis case is great for storing a laptop. However, the strap could be more secure. The clasps used to attach it to the case can open without warning. I had mine on my shoulder, when all of a sudden, my laptop hit the pavement...now there's a crack in my screen and dent on the corner where it hit. Not the best case for long-term use...really disappointing.

When I first received this bag I was ecstatic-super light, padded but slim, and understated. However, after using for only 2 weeks the strap completely broke! As another reviewer mentioned, the strap is pretty flimsy. The stitching keeping the loop together around the clasp was really poorly done and while my macbook pro is heavier than other laptops, it's not enough so to rip the stitches out. I hope this was just a malfunction with my bag because otherwise it was great!

Travelpro Executive ProTM Checkpoint Friendly Computer Backpack "Black"

Travelpro Executive ProTM Checkpoint Friendly Computer Backpack 'Black'
  • Dimensions: L13" x W9" x H17.5"
  • Weight: 2.2 lbs.
  • Color: Black

I bought this back pack or my husband as a birthday gift , he called it "perfect", he uses it to carry his laptop and other work related things back and forth to his construction site. It appears very well made and has a nice configuration of pockets it looks so much more professional that the sharper image backback he has been using for a while. He hasn't traveled on an airline with it yet, he will be using it on flights, but it appears to be conveinent enough for that. I did a lot of research on line and in stores...this was clearly one of the best buys I found.

First thing first, only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is there is no water bottle holder. I travel and this fits perfectly on my 360 spinner luggage from travel pro (25 inch) since there is a strap in the bag that fits snugly on luggage. it holds all the work and play items in need when i travel (mac, ipad, ipod, cords, bose headset, work folders and make up bag. also holds the extra stuff i get at the airport, magazines, snacks and water.

more room than you need unless you use this as a suitcase. and again the only downfall is i need to place my water in the bag since there is no external holder. what is cool is 2 small external pockets that hold keys, lip balm, snacks etc so you don't need to dig inside. contains an ipod pouch within the bag with an access hole at the top of the bag to the outside for your earphones. would totally recommend!

I travel quite a bit on airplanes and this is the right size as well as not having to take out the computer to get through security makes it easier than normal. Solid construction and the right amount of storage pockets. Very good value for the price.

I just received this as a replacement for a TravelPro backpack that I'd purchased at Staples which fell apart inside (apparently was made by a different company, but they honored their lifetime warranty great customer service!). I want to love this bag. It's very sturdy, looks very solidly made, but...

There is NO WAY you'll fit any 17" laptop in this.

The bag's dimensions are 17.5" tall on the outside, but the computer compartment has a very nicely padded pocket to hold the laptop. As this padded pocket is sewn inside the bag about a half inch off the bottom, it loses a lot of available space. I walked around the office trying different laptops, and none of the 17" or 17.3" would fit inside. The biggest we could get in was a Sony Vaio 15" screen, with outer dimensions of 10"x14", and even then I had to pull the zipper up over the corners in a tight fit.

If you have a 15" or smaller laptop, I recommend this bag. The internal pockets are roomy, the fabric is thick and tightly woven, the zippers are heavy duty, and TravelPro has a lifetime warranty. The "checkpoint friendly" clamshell design is a huge timesaver going through security lines. For anything bigger, keep looking. I'm waiting to see what the company is going to do for me, as their other backpack has similar dimensions. If they say I'm stuck with this, well, then, a coworker of mine is going to have a very nice present, and I'll be shopping for a new bag.

Case Logic RBP-117 17.3-Inch MacBook Pro/Laptop Backpack with iPad/Tablet Pocket (Black)

Case Logic RBP-117 17.3-Inch MacBook Pro/Laptop Backpack with iPad/Tablet PocketI received this backpack as part of the Amazon Vine Program which means I received it free in exchange for providing this review. That said, I was excited to get the opportunity to check it out since I have a laptop backpack from HP that, though much loved, is ultimately falling apart.

I waited to review this until I had a chance to take it on a trip (I'm not a student these days so my backpacks mostly serve as laptop protective luggage). As I did this weekend, here's my review.

So here are my thoughts:

1) Laptop size: GREAT

My engineering workstation laptop has a 17.7" screen which frankly is almost impossible to find any sort of case for. It does fit in this. So that made me happy.

2) Stitching. GREAT

The sewing seems very sturdy. Having not lugged it around through an entire semester or more, I can't faily compare it, but tugging at it shows it seems pretty secure and the fabric it's anchored to at stress points is very reinforced. (That was the problem with my older HP laptop backpack is that it ripped at the weak points)

3) Zippers. APPEAR QUALITY.

Big heavy duty zipper. Again without wear it's hard to say but the heavy coated and smoothed teeth don't seem likely to break or jam soon.

4) Pocket Variety. GOOD.

There are ton of different pockets...frankly I keep finding more. Other than the two large ones (back one is the laptop pocket and the one in front of that is for books or whatever) and the front one (presumably for your tablet if you really need to pack two types of computers) there are many little small ones. Some inside the other pockets, some on the sides, one right against your back (presumably for important papers, but I'd never use it as it seems awkward) and a little one on top that to my mind would fit a cell phone very handily so you can find it when it rings. So for pocket variety, it's a win. For useful pockets...maybe 70-80% are ones I'd actually use. The rest I might stuff random things into just if I needed to fit in one more thing but probably not otherwise.

5) Padding. EXCESSIVE.

Honestly there so much padding it's bulky. I don't plan to throw my electronics out of speeding trains or fifth story windows. While it's comfortable it also means you can fit less in it and that it's heavier even when empty. I shiver to think how long it would take to dry out if you ever got it wet.

6) Capacity. NOT BAD, BUT COULD BE BETTER

To me this is the part that makes me think I'll likely use the HP backpack for a while longer. This backpack isn't actually that much smaller (it doesn't expand out as far)than mine, but the padding really cuts down on space. As I'm not a student, my HP is what I use to travel with. It's nice to be able to use it as my "smaller" carry on and the extra cargo room comes in handy. This one can fit about two pairs of sneakers less over all which is quite a lot less. That said, it IS fairly spacious compared to many backpacks, so it might be just fine for you. I don't know that you'd want it a lot bigger...but if it was differently designed to expand out just a bit further and only pad where it's really needed, you'd get more.

7) Finishes. AWESOME

This is what really wowed me. There's lots of little details I never thought about but like a lot. Like the cell phone pocket. Or the fact that when you adjust the straps they roll up with a velcro snap so they don't dangle down. Very sturdy and polished. Pockets are secure, straps are highly engineered. A little handle near the bottom even...handy for picking it up to say, shove in an overhead bin. Lots of little things I never even though of but are pretty cool.

8)Comfort. ACCEPTABLE

Straps are very comfortable. It seemed to carry a bit "high" for me though which made my shoulders a bit hurty when fully loaded for a while. It has to do with the wideness of the straps at the top which won't let it slide lower down comfortably and so had me adjusting it up to keep it from feeling awkward. I'm calling it acceptable though because overall it wasn't bad. Good weight distribution otherwise (wide straps were nice for that). No cutting even when heavy, easy to grip from top and with one strap.

All in all a really pretty good backpack. It's not perfect, but having never found a perfect backpack to date, I'm giving it 5 stars. My HP (best I've ever had) wins on capacity but this one beats it on construction (I'm pretty sure) and nice extra features. Chances are there are people who will love it. I certainly plan to use it again.

Oh bag makers. You labor over nice details like iPad pockets, you add velcro in all the right places, you fret over how the straps adjust. Yet consistently, in pack after pack, you overlook the most basic and important area of protection for the most expensive item the bag is intended to carry: the bottom of the laptop !! Do they actually test these bag with real laptops? It's beggars the mind to think they wouldn't be alarmed at an ominous THUNK when thinly protected MacBook aluminum meets hard pavement. All it would take would be 50 cents of padding sewn into the bottom of the bag, and yet, they can't seem to make that effort.

Two stars subtracted from an otherwise great bag for this glaring error.

This is a very good backpack, and the description in the site was exactly what I got. I bought it to replace an older case logic backpack I had (cannot remember the model number) that served me very well for many years. It is well built, with nice features like a chest strap, and it is not excessively large, like other backpacks that try to fit even 17" models. My mac book pro 15" fits nicely and it feels secure.

My only reason not to give it five stars is that the notebook compartiment could be better padded at the bottom. In my previous one, the notebook fitted in a large padded pouch in the compartiment, so it would not touch the bottom of the backpack itself. Besides that, the bottom was also padded. With this one, when I put it on the floor the first few times I felt that the notebook was not been as isolated from the impact as I expected. I ended up fitting a piece of packaging foam to the bottom of the compartment, and that solved the problem. If that was included in the design, I'd give it five stars, no doubt.

I really enjoy having this backpack after finally letting go of my Targus backpack. This one came highly recommended on Amazon, so I decided to give it a shot. When I first received it, I immediately noticed that there was a very large amount of space in the front two compartments and the laptop compartment is very well padded.

One of the best perks of this bag is that there are actually two spaces for tablets, one with the laptop and one in the front pocket. Nice when you have a personal and a work tablet. The laptop compartment was very well suited for my MacBook and my Asus Transformer tablet. The first compartment after that was able to hold 3 large textbooks and 3 pads of paper. The front compartment was also large with various places to arrange smaller items. Another very fun feature of this backpack is the lumbar stash which is very well manufactured and easy to get to while walking. It also has two compression straps that allow you to carry odds and ends, such as an umbrella, a rolled up coat, it even held my heavy jacket. The side pockets are well made, each is spacious enough to fit a TI-84 calculator with ease and my keys (with the built-in keychain) and my phone (Samsung Galaxy S2).

Overall the backpack was very good, there is a lot of padding on the back and it is also designed to stop your back from sweating. I enjoy having a lot of space for everything that I carry on a daily basis and very much so enjoy how big the backpack actually is, as it goes all the way down my back (6'3" Male) and does not awkwardly stop halfway down. I would definitely recommend this to anybody, student or professional.

I'm sitting in the passengers lounge at Dulles Airport as I write this review. I decided I needed a new bag for a trip and so this has been a winner. I was using a conventional laptop bag before, but it was HUGE and barely fit under this seat. This one's remarkably compact given all of the storage space.

I'm very pleased by the storage space the bag gives. I have a 17" Macbook Pro and an iPad nestled away, plus all of the cords, connectors and various stuff needed to travel. There are a variety of pockets for water, pens, etc. and a "secret" little place to put things in the lumbar pad.

I'm impressed with the small details such as little velcro straps that keep the excess shoulder strap under control. It wasn't necessary to provide, but I still appreciate the attention to detail the bag gives.

Passing through security was a breeze since there's a couple of small pockets I can stick my wallet, glasses and belt (I was surprised they made me remove it. I guess the were afraid I'd hang myself or something.).

This bag is a keeper.

LeSportsac Voyager Backpack

LeSportsac Voyager Backpack,Harbour Dot,One SizeI received this bag in the mail today and I must admit I was a little taken aback when I saw the size of thebackpack within the shipping package.

It didn't look as big as I thought it would.

When I opened the packaging to truly look at the bag I realized it's shape..

It is very roomy within the bag..it is perfect to fit heavy school books, surprisingly..I never would have expected the bag to fit so many books.

Although there is a point where the ability to fit books stops..it will fit all of the essentials and It is perfect to use for school!!

There is a place within the bag to fit a water bottle but any plastic ones will most likely crush within the bag.

There are also 3 exterior pockets that are surprisingly roomy as well.

One of my favorite features about the bag is the pull-strap ability to enclose your items within the bag..it works very well and is also a cute feature to this backpack.

Overall. The price of the bag is a little steep but worth it for the quality of the bag I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Oh, the bag is also very supportive..the straps don't hurt at all and the back has a lot of padding which prevents any books from stabbing into your back.

It's truly a great bag that will last for a while

Now one of my favorite LeSporsac bags in my personal collection. This is a beautiful print and the backpack is great for around town trips. As usual material is high quality and very comfy.

I bought this backpack and love the size and compartments. The problem, and it's a big one, is that the straps really have no padding. So, a new school year calls for a new backpack. Should I get a Jansport? Adidas? North Face? Or perhaps Nike? I honestly had no idea. I went on a Goolgle marathon, Yahoo Answers promptly following. "What type of backpack should I get this year?" Boom, millions of results. Was I really going to go through all of them? No. Not at all.

The most popular backpack was Jansport, but I honestly didn't feel like getting ANOTHER one. Although they were "good in quality," I wanted something new. Something that I didn't see in the hallways of my school every day. Something fresh.

How could I have forgotten about Amazon? I've been a loyal customer for a few years, but I somehow forgot about the website. That could not be. I immediately logged into my Amazon account and the word that I searched for was, "backpack". Oh, the horrors. After a while, "backpack" became "rucksack backpack" and "rucksack backpack" became "jam_closet". What? 56% off? I came upon this product and immediately fell in love. And me being me, I ordered it and happily waited for it to come.

When I first saw it in a small package, I was thinking that it would be smaller than expected. Was I wrong? Yes. The backpack is roomy and easily fits 5 3-subject notebooks. Unlike Jansport, that many notebooks don't hurt my back. When I first tried it on, notebooks and all, I immediately thought, "Did I forget to put something in there?" despite me putting them inside a few minutes earlier. It's extremely comfortable, even with a ton of things inside.

I was expecting a brigher mustard yellow, but I got more of a "golden mustard". Does that make any sense? Might not. I've heard that pleather usually smells bad when it comes through the mail. This didn't. It smelled fine, no nasty pleather smells that you need to air out. The two colors looked beautiful together. Yellow and brown? It looks nice and classy, in my opinion. Have I mentioned how comfortable the straps are? Because they are.

If you want a new backpack that people will compliment, then get this one. I love it and I'm sure everybody who buys this will be more than satisfied with it. I know I am.

I get so many complement on my bag from different people it's seems to be a conversation starter. It's a very nice stylish bag n plenty of pockets to store stuff. The color is perfect not to bright nor to light n the opening to place my books is also a good size. The straps are thick enough for my shoulders and my back doesn't hurt like my old back pack did. The straps seem to distributed the weight of my books evenly so that's always a great thing especially for walking across college campus. I would definitely recommend this backpack. This bag is pretty awesome since it has a military feel to it on the design and it can be a unisex backpack for either school or work.

Love this backpack. The straps are great and like all of the pockets. The color is more of a khaki. The only down side is that even though it is a full size backpack it takes a little time getting your stuff in and out of it because of the drawstring top.

Mammut Xeron Element BackpackBag is very good,Capacity is very much also,It is also very comfortable to back,Only it functions a bit less,Not suitable for mountain climbing

Overall the design of Xeron Element is perfect: Slim shape, easy carry-on size, and padded laptop sleeve.

The poor quality lies with the arm-strap material. The foam-like mesh is rough to the touch--risking snags on nice clothing--and feels as though it would not stand up to the test of daily use.

SwissGear Wenger 3200 ScanSmart Laptop Backpack 17 Inch

SwissGear Wenger 3200 ScanSmart Laptop Backpack 17 InchNot too much to say about this bag that hasn't already been said. It is pretty boring as far as swissgear bags go. Lots of black woven vinyl. Very well built but feels a little 'cheap' compared to the SA9360 or the Wired Laptop Backpack for 17-Inch Notebook. It does not have a wired headphone socket on the shoulder strap like those two either. Speaking of shoulder straps, they are thinner than the other two models mentioned both in width and padding so I do not think that this is quite as comfortable. That said, it felt fine lugging around the laptop and overnight clothes etc for a couple of hours. The two models mentioned are a very tight fit for 17" notebooks though they should be listed as fitting all 16" and the slender Macbook Pro 17" only. Bigger desktop replacements will not fit easily unless you are willing to remove or slit the thick bottom padding.

As my title says, this one does comfortably fit the HP 17" widescreen models just fine, however, do NOT expect the TSA to let the 'SmartScan' feature through with a big laptop in there.. The mesh viewing window for the smartscan is about the size of a netbook so a proper laptop simply looks like a large plastic device in there! My experience was a delay of 5 more minutes while they had me take it out and scrutinize it and myself. They recommended that I take it out in future so they can visually see it as well as x-ray it, the man did say that when they can see laptops properly in the smartscan style bags, they are satisfied. In my opinion, by the time you have unzipped, unfolded and balanced the bag before sliding it on the belt for viewing, you might as well have just taken the damn computer out in the first place!

Final point: I do not think that an 18" Notebook would fit in this bag without stretching the super smooth zippers around it on the top corners.

A breeze when going through security. Just unzip and open like a clam shell.

A real timesaver! I would highly endorse this pack to anyone!

considering the price, this is not a very good value. I bought this and it started having manufacturing defects just after about one month. First, the zipper stopped clasping together, then one of the shoulder straps started to come off. considering the price you pay for it, you expect it to last longer. you are definitely paying the markup for the "swiss" name, not the quality.

(by the way, these things are manufactured in China by a company from New Jersey which has licensed the "Swiss" name for lots of products. So if you think you are buying quality material b/c of the Swiss name, then you are just throwing money away).

My advice skip this (and don't pay extra money just because it says "Swiss" on it.

ALPINESTARS Men's Trainer Pack

ALPINESTARS Men's Trainer Pack, Black, One SizeI was looking for a bagpack-type solution to be able to bring gym clothes plus a towel and textbooks all in a single container, and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I was able to fit a spare set of clothing, large bottle of water, a laptop, and textbooks in this bagpack/duffle and still have it be somewhat comfortable on my back while riding.

This pack features a handle in the center to be carried like a dufflebag, and it also contains stowaway bagpack air-mesh straps that clip onto metal rings using metal carabiners.

It has a 36 Liter capacity with 2 main compartments, the smaller one is for a laptop and features a cellphone pocket as well as a small meshed pocket right next to it (can fit a coiled cell phone cable). The larger compartment is would be where you would put all your clothing/gear/etc into. The front of the backpack has 3 zippers, the largest one in the middle with a small storage space to fit a cellphone, wallet, keys together. The 2 smaller are located on the lower opposite sides of the bagpack and can fit smaller things like earbuds or a keys.

The bag looks stylish, and things like the inner-material/metal clips and carabiners seem to be quality, however my main issue with this bag (Which is also one of the most important parts) is the zippers.

Within 1 week of normal use, the zippers on the largest compartment began to come unstitched from the bag at one side, and eventually completely came off resulting in the zipper handles themselves coming off the bag. What use is a bagpack without zippers! I gave this bag typical use, and it failed on me pretty quickly. I also noticed that the stitches on the inside of the pack were already beginning to become frayed.

Overall the design and functionality are there, but I can't recommend this bag for typical use because the quality is lacking and its just too delicate to meet the rigors of a real dufflebag or bagpack. It is possible that I had received a dud and someone was sleeping on the job, but the Made-in-China label definitely doesn't help it out either. Alpinestars supposedly gives this bag a 2-year warranty, but unless you rarely use this bag, I suspect many will try to utilize the warranty. It hurts me to give an Alpinestars product a low rating, but I do feel that's what this product deserves and I will be returning it to find a more suitable bagpack for my needs.

Dakine 6.5-Litre Cosmo Pack

DAKINE Cosmo PackI LOVE this backpack, it is the perfect size for a small day use pack/purse. I plan on using it for a little of both. It is not large at all, do not think of this as a school backpack unless it is for a small child and all they are carrying is lunch and some extras, large books will not fit. Having said that, it will fit a full sized camera, along with a light jacket and water bottle, plus pockets for wallet, keys, phone and other goodies.

It's great for travel, very easy to carry, unlike a full sized backpack that would completely take up your whole lap or a seat, this is 1/3 the size. The colors are beautiful and the quality is very well made. No regrets.

I ordered this product to take with me to go hiking in Puerto Rico, it worked wonderfully! I could fit multiple water bottles an my Nikon camera discretely without worrying anyone would think it was a camera bag. Sturdy and well built, the picture matches the actual colors perfectly. Highly recommend!

I love the colors because my other bag was pastel and got dirty noticeably for my husband to actually understand why I was washing it. The space is ample to carry my kindle, cell phone, garmin GPS plus car charger, wallet, 2 glasscases, with more room for pens, candy, misc. I use the outside carry strap for a caliper that carries my car and house keys. I am all set as if, and there is still room for more. Love the price and the quality is definitely there. I am not tall and so having an appropriately sized purse like this feels good. Also, have to add that I love having my hands free when I am in the grocery store and do not have to leave the purse in the cart. That stress is gone because of this backpack style purse.

I love this bag. It's not a diaper bag but I used it as one. It doesn't seem like it is big enough for a diaper bag but it works for me. It you have to fit formula and bottles then I would get a typical diaper bag.

I used it on vacation in Puerto Rico and it is perfect because everything fits without being too bulky. I use it for everything. I'm not a purse carrier too much, so this works for me.

Transpack Sidekick Boot & Helmet Bag - Black One SizeThis bag is sure handy when walking to and from the lodge with all my ski gear. I purchased the original SideKick Pro,, some reviewers mentioned that the boots flop around with the newer version 2. However, this original version certainly does not have that problem.

I wish it had just a bit more space in the backpack. I tend to carry some spare gear in case I get wet, and that fills up the bag. With boots on the side, and the helmet, gloves, and goggles in the back pocket, I can easily carry spare gloves, liners, socks, and a set of base layer stuff. That fits fine, but I also stuff in some sweats and hoodie to wear when i am done skiing.

Overall, I like the bag, and since I have purchased the Ski Strap Carrier.....

Agama Backpack by Mountain Hardwear

Mountain Hardwear Agama Pack - GalaxyAfter dragging my old pack around for years of hiking and canoeing from the Canadian shield to the Andes of Peru I got tired of sewing it up every few months and, with a fair bit of research, chose this as the replacement. I have been thoroughly pleased with it thus far and, although not abused as much yet as the old one was, appears to be holding up better. I found the aluminum zipper pulls a bit "fiddley" but they were easy to remove and the strings underneath them work great by themselves. Overall a great pack!

Lillebaby Stockholm Diaper Bag

Lillebaby Stockholm Diaper Bag in Chocolate BrownI have only used this diaper bag for 6 months. I have two diaper bags, this one is our run-around diaper bag as it is smaller and the perfect size for quick trips to the store. Originally, I loved this bag, so much so, that I purchased one for my friend. But recently the bag's quality has declined greatly.

The outer material on one of the side pockets began to rip. This didn't mess with the bag's functionality, so I continued to use it anyway, until yesterday when the pull to the zipper just completely broke off. There is no way to fix this! I am so sad too because it took me a long time to finally choose a bag that fit all my needs, but I do not recommend purchasing this bag if you plan on using it for more than a few months.

I purchased this diaper bag because I wanted a bag that looked more like a purse. This bag is great and I really like that it can attach to the stroller. It has an outside zipper pocket that I use for my wallet and I use one of the two inner pockets for my other items. It is very roomy inside for dipaers, a small balanket, and some toys. I love the flap that contains the wipes, that is genius. The changing pad is a bit short in length. I always bring some really thin disposable small chux pads with me to put under my baby's bottom so it works, or else I don't bring the changing pad at all. I love this diaper bag and also the Lillebaby's carrier.

This is a relatively small sized diaper bag made of good quality material with useful pockets and compartments.

I've had it just a few weeks but like the ability to take what I need for a few hours out-3 or 4 diapers, wipes, diaper cream, hand spray, burp cloth, extra blanket, change of onesie, water bottle for me, wallet etc in the pocket. However, it probably won't provide enough space as the diapers and clothes get bigger or if I need to carry baby bottles. But I think it's a good size for most short trips out.

And the changing pad is just big enough right now for my newborn--it will be a bit skimpy as she grows, so I may need to carry a separate pad.

Other complaint is if it is full and you close the zipper, a section of the zipper may separate close to the starting end. It can be fixed once you unzip it fully, but it does not maintain being closed if the bag is too full. Since the bag zips on a curve and doesn't have any stretch or give around the zipper, it isn't forgiving of an extra item or two.

Just to keep in mind.

But I'll definitely keep it and use it, with a larger bag already purchased for bigger days out.

Kailo Chic Structured Laptop Tote

Kailo Chic Structured Laptop ToteI use this bag to transport my work laptop back and forth from the office to home every day. My coworkers have given me lots of compliments on the syle and the bag itself is roomy enough to fit not only the laptop, but a few folders and my Kindle as well. And it still doesn't feel heavy, like my old bag did. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bag is a bit wide, and can be difficult to fit on my lap while I ride the train.

Nanuk 920 Case with Cubed Foam (Graphite)

Nanuk 920 Case with Cubed FoamI order my nanuk 920 mostly for my photography gear, the material is very well made, check the size you really need before purchasing. The 920 can fit 70 200 mm lens, 24 70 mm, a speed light flash and 1 or 2 primes. I live in a south tropical island. This case is a must.

I have no complaints! I have my Canon T1I with all my accessories and I have not had an issues since purchasing. I live in Louisiana where the heat index gets us up to 115 and I will leave this in my vehicle! My camera still works wonderfully! I would definitely recommend this to others! I also like that the material is softer than Pelican and the clips are a LOT better! My husband has pelican cases and I prefer this one!

I bought one of these cases for digital camera, iPad and some other electronics I took with me on motorcycle tour this spring. The Nanuk case held up extremely well on the back on the back of my bike through a freezing, wet and dusty spring in Death Valley California. I love the stainless hardware on these cases and the way the claps work. Excellent product if you need a case to protect delicate items from the elements.

As a producer, I work near water quite often and wanted a waterproof case to store my mac book pro in that was lightweight but durable and still sleek looking. This Nanuk 920 case is perfect. I love it and would suggest to anyone needing a waterproof case for their laptop or any other electronic equipment.

Sony PCGA-CCB2 VAIO Notebook Backpack

Sony PCGA-CCB2 VAIO Notebook BackpackThis item is poorly designed and difficult to use. My SONY VAIO laptop is specified in the product description and has to be squeezed into the storage compartment. It will not fit at all when enclosed in the recommended protective Neoprene cover. The "Backpack has no cover flaps and allows for a very limited amount of 8.5"x 11" papers or thin booklets or folders. The interior compartments are also poorly designed and very difficult to use. This item has very limited utility and might be good for someone who wants to tote only a laptop. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

In contrast to the other commentors, I actually love this item. It has a cushioned fitted compartment for the notebook with a velcro strap to secure it; it has many little compartents in the front pocket for cards, pencils, etc..; another velcro-shut flat compartment in the back. You can also fit a spare battery & AC adopter inside the bag. It's a compact design, so if you need to put in more things, go for a bigger bag.
