I was deciding between this bag and a slightly smaller one that was the same price, and went for this one because in the pictures I could see some straps on the side of the bag, and I thought, "perhaps those are for a tripod." And since the other one didn't have any straps but was the same price, I figured I wouldn't lose anything by taking the bet that I could carry a tripod with this bag. And guess what? I can! I don't know that I'd go jogging with a tripod strapped in, but for walking around it's great. Plus it carries almost all of my gear (I'm still at the stage where I want to have everything with me all the time) and is pretty comfortable. Much more comfortable than a shoulder bag, anyway. I did find it a little awkward to get used to putting on and taking off because the strap goes from the right shoulder to the left hip, and as a right-handed person I'm used to wearing cross-body bags from my left shoulder to my right hip. But that's just a little learning curve, not a serious defect. Also, for the weight to be properly distributed you have to attach the buckle that goes from the middle of the cross-body strap to the right hip part of the bag, which is not particularly fashionable but is very effective. Basically, I'd been hoping to find a bag that was small and yet carried everything while feeling feather-light and looked cool. Amazingly, that does not exist. But this bag is a pretty good second choice.

I buy constantly from amazon and I know by now the exact color things are... this sleeve colors seem burn... the paint is darker and not as vivid but still very pretty.I have a 16.4 inch lap and expected the sleeve to be a little big but not 2 1/2 inches on top and 2 at the side! I put it inside my bag for extra protection and have to fold it because is way too big on my 17" bag!
The advantage of the sleeve size is that when I grab it by itself I can put my charger, mouse and other gadgets inside.
The padding is very thin, not that much protection.
The other problem was the packaging and I took one star just because of it. it had a small piece of cardboard inside that left a dent in the material and still has it after a few weeks.

Cheap is cheap. I've gotten nearly a year's use out of it but the metal buckle is now coming loose due to the tiny screws falling out. Wish it wouldn't have that issue but if you want something spacious to carry to work and look good, this is your match. Love it regardless.

Oneill Men's Boundary Backpack
I bought the brown version of the Oneil Men's Boundary backpack and so far it's been everything I need in a backpack. This backpack is also made of good quality fabric and is very durable. It looks spectacular on the outside and has plenty of room for a 15.6" laptop and several books. The straps are pretty sturdy and the back is very comfortable for everyday use. The only thing I don't like is the ugly interior orange color and the zippers jingle and make A LOT of noise. Overall however, I really like this backpack and I'm sure it will last me a few good years.

So, a new school year calls for a new backpack. Should I get a Jansport? Adidas? North Face? Or perhaps Nike? I honestly had no idea. I went on a Goolgle marathon, Yahoo Answers promptly following. "What type of backpack should I get this year?" Boom, millions of results. Was I really going to go through all of them? No. Not at all.The most popular backpack was Jansport, but I honestly didn't feel like getting ANOTHER one. Although they were "good in quality," I wanted something new. Something that I didn't see in the hallways of my school every day. Something fresh.
How could I have forgotten about Amazon? I've been a loyal customer for a few years, but I somehow forgot about the website. That could not be. I immediately logged into my Amazon account and the word that I searched for was, "backpack". Oh, the horrors. After a while, "backpack" became "rucksack backpack" and "rucksack backpack" became "jam_closet". What? 56% off? I came upon this product and immediately fell in love. And me being me, I ordered it and happily waited for it to come.
When I first saw it in a small package, I was thinking that it would be smaller than expected. Was I wrong? Yes. The backpack is roomy and easily fits 5 3-subject notebooks. Unlike Jansport, that many notebooks don't hurt my back. When I first tried it on, notebooks and all, I immediately thought, "Did I forget to put something in there?" despite me putting them inside a few minutes earlier. It's extremely comfortable, even with a ton of things inside.
I was expecting a brigher mustard yellow, but I got more of a "golden mustard". Does that make any sense? Might not. I've heard that pleather usually smells bad when it comes through the mail. This didn't. It smelled fine, no nasty pleather smells that you need to air out. The two colors looked beautiful together. Yellow and brown? It looks nice and classy, in my opinion. Have I mentioned how comfortable the straps are? Because they are.
If you want a new backpack that people will compliment, then get this one. I love it and I'm sure everybody who buys this will be more than satisfied with it. I know I am.

I get so many complement on my bag from different people it's seems to be a conversation starter. It's a very nice stylish bag n plenty of pockets to store stuff. The color is perfect not to bright nor to light n the opening to place my books is also a good size. The straps are thick enough for my shoulders and my back doesn't hurt like my old back pack did. The straps seem to distributed the weight of my books evenly so that's always a great thing especially for walking across college campus. I would definitely recommend this backpack. Love this backpack. The straps are great and like all of the pockets. The color is more of a khaki. The only down side is that even though it is a full size backpack it takes a little time getting your stuff in and out of it because of the drawstring top.

I've used this case in black color for a year.It's stylish, quite comfortable to wear due to adjustable strap and safe for my laptop because it's a hard case.
I have HP dm4 and it fits it (leaving over 1 inch of space by the side). But the laptop is the only thing that fits there: all cords with adapter (slim version) and a mouse I have to put into the pocket of this case; and when I close the case, it bends a little at pocket side. And there is no room for anything else. When you have glossy plastic on top of your laptop you could hurt or scratch it with things in a pocket, and I definitely don't recommend to use this case when you plan to carry laptop with adapter and cords. I wish it would be a little wider.
The most unpleasant thing about this case I've found it's easy to scratch and marks are WHITE. I have a black case, and after a year of use it looks awful at corners. That's the major reason I buy another case. When you buy this case in white or yellow it's OK, I guess.

I bought this for my mom as a christmas present. She absolutely loved it. It is made very well and is super fashionable. The only downside is that it isnt big enough for more than your computer and mouse. You have to carry the Plug seperately. It does offer a good level of protection if you are travelling and want to just have something cute to put your laptop in and keep it safe in your carry on.

I had the opportunity to review The Adventurer, a rolling travel duffle that has all of the features of a top-of-the line piece of luggage, for a lot less! This large, black and silver suitcase is made from ballistics grade polyester and has a lightweight, durable polyethylene frame which not only helps the bag retain its shape, but also allows it to stand upright on its own without any support. This way you can access your belongings without having to lay it down, lean it or prop it against something. Except for the back side, it is a soft-sided suitcase, not hard, and the material reminds me of a very well-made backpack.It is the perfect size for both me and my husband, with a roomy interior, plenty of multi-size pockets on the outside, plus front compression straps with no-slip buckles so you can adjust the overall size of the suitcase. There is an elastic strap with a buckle inside to help secure contents, and also a large mesh pocket on the inside of the cover. Another feature I really like is that all of the zippers are no-snag, so they are easy to zip without any material getting caught up in the track, and they zip very smoothly.
There is this great top pocket on the outside which is perfect for quick access to keys, tickets, your phone or whatever else you made need on short notice. And I love the covered ID slot that is built right in on the back side close to the top so I no longer have to worry about ugly and annoying luggage tags that always seem to fall off, plus it protects my privacy! You just push a little button and slide it out of the slot! Very handy!
There are grab handles on four sides which makes getting it out of the car trunk much easier, as well as allowing you to carry it different ways! The two wheels for pulling roll smoothly even on rough surfaces, and the 12" tow handle with comfort grip is fully retractable. Both on the back side and the bottom are high impact rails to help protect contents and the shell when pulling it up stairs, plus there are other reinforced, durable impact points. The corners are also reinforced by fabric overlays and multiple stitching layers to protect against tearing or splitting. This suitcase is so well made, even the buckles on the compression straps are heavy duty and made to withstand 180 degree bending and very hot or cold temperatures like you would find in cargo bays!
I love our new Adventurer! It has all of the bonus features you find with very expensive luggage, it is just as well made and durable (if not more) and costs so much less! Although I received this in exchange for review, all words and opinions are my own, and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for durable, attractive and easy-to-manage luggage
There is a compartment located on the top portion that can be un-zipped. I find it perfect for my kids' toothbrushes and such, as it all fits perfect in there.

Condor Urban GO BAG
I'm in in the Marine Corps, have had this bag for a little over a month, and it has proven to be well worth the money. I use the bag daily and it comfortably fits all my gear for the day (books/papers, pt gear, lunch, etc). The side zip pouch for your laptop is awesome because it provides a little more structure/rigidity to the bag while you are wearing it. I also took it for a weekend trip and it fit all my clothes, toiletries, and computer. If I had any criticism it would be that I wish the zippers were of a better quality. The zippers are fine, but you can tell that they are not the kind you get on the $200+ Blackhawk and Camelback bags. Having said that, for the money you can't go wrong with this bag.
It doesn't have any kind of internal frame, and the shoulder straps mount to the very top of the bag. Higher than the top of the bag, really. This makes the weight sit very low, meaning you have to lean pretty far forward with a heavy load to put your center of gravity over your feet.
The waist belt is pretty nice, the adjustable web belt part is pretty thin, but wide and the combination of the padded waist strap and belt does a pretty good job of comfortably seating the weight on my hips.
The chest strap is very nice also, it rides on a 3 bar slider on 1 inch webbing on the face of the shoulder strap, so it stays where you put it and is beefy enough to help raise the load up slightly higher as well.
Aside from not being able to adjust the ride height, the other change I would make to this bag would be to put more PALS attachments up high on the sides. The side PALS only start about a third of the way down the bag (there are attachment points higher up on the front of the main flap, but if I add another pouch or 2 in that location that puts the load further out from my center of gravity). That being said, I was able to use the top handle on each side (there are 3 handles at the top of the pack) to mount a couple old sustainment pouches.
Day to day this is a nice bag, but not for serious hiking. On a side note, I'm pretty sure "Daryl" uses this bag in "The Walking Dead" and you trivia folks can correct me if I'm wrong.I purchased this pack based upon what I could find out about it with reviews and other information. It's construction is solid. There's one place where the stitching on the molle loops is coming loose, but I used a lighter to burn off the tags and it seems okay now. I've put about 30 pounds of gear, clothing, shelter and survival stuff and hiked with it for a total of about six miles. It seems to ride pretty well, except for a pinching sensation in my right shoulder which I attribute to the carry handle being attached to the shoulder straps. I have wide shoulders so, it takes some getting used to.
Other than that it will hold a 100 oz. water bladder and has lots of pockets for small stuff. I've attached two canteen pouches to the lower sides and an EMT pouch to the back. There's a pouch for my lensatic compass, one for my ammunition and a pouch for my multitool. Clothing, rations and small stuff go inside.

I purchased this bag for school and work and this is by far my favorite i've used so far. I've purchased other bags like the Maxpedition Falcon-II and Vulture-II, and while the material of the Condor bag is not quite as thick or rugged "feeling", It is still VERY well built. There are a handful of pockets and in all the right places, not too many so that space is being wasted and not enough so that you're just carrying around a sack with crap thrown in it. In the two side pockets I can fit a large coffee mug and still have some space. I know the description says it will only fit up to a 15" laptop in the side pouch specifically for one, but I was able to squeeze my behemoth 15.6" Lenovo W520 workstation and still zip up fairly easy. The molle webbing is pretty consistent which is always nice and the shoulder straps are quite comfy. One interesting thing I don't find anywhere is the extra side handles in addition to the one on the very top. I also find that unlike most bags, this one will actually stand up straight on its own where there is stuff in it.I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a bag with alot of space. I prefer this bag over my maxpedition bags I have currently.

I really like this pack! This pack has plenty of storage for me to keep all my gear in it. It is also very comfortable to wear; you do notice the top handle at first, but it does get better. The North Face Men's Surge II
So after weeks of reading about backpacks and their practicality and so on, I decided on the Surge II and wont even look back!Some people are saying this daypack is a waste of money and to purchase the Surge I instead. I would have to disagree
I am a college student and I also enjoy getting lost in the woods so this pack serves my every needs
A. Lets start with the first large compartment (laptop compartment)
1. Its huge and has a tablet compartment attached to it. I fit my 15" Macbook in there with a case and use the tablet compartment for my charger usually
2. Sorry but this compartment does not have a slit to run a bladder hose through but you can always just run it though an opening in a zipper if you really wanted
3. This compartment also has a foam tube on the bottom (2inch in diameter) for protection(I just drop my bag to the floor even with my laptop in it when i set it down honestly)
B. The next large compartment is your main compartment,
1. For day hikes, I fill this thing to the top with food, clothes, gear, and usually one very large jacket for the night hike back.
2. For school i could fit my biology and physics text book in there (each is about 300 pages) plus my binders and notebooks with enough space to add my sweater on top, ITS HUGE!
C. Here's your organizational pocket
1. velcro compartment, attached to a pocket the same size which is zippered, attached to two other pocket, (could fit a CD case in each) plus other small compartments including a padded pocket for something more delicate like an iphone perhaps.
2. The front side of the pocket has a mesh zipper compartment which is nice because you can always see what you got in there.
D. Now in the front you can see two zippers, unlike the Surge I, on the Surge II these pockets arnt connected!
1. Two separate pockets big enough to fit 3-4 water bottles in each, this is where i keep my on-the-go snacks and other totally random useful things
E. Above these two pockets you have the flannel material for sun glasses and such, its big enough for me to fit my hand in there with my fingers stretched out as far as possible
DONT BE FOOLED! This pack has only 1 bottle holder (pictured) the other side is just a strechy pocket and it fits my first aid kit in the perfectly!
also the bottle holder keeps my 1L nalgene bottle in place and it never shakes, even when its full
This change they did doesnt matter for me, 1L of water is plenty and if i needed more, im sure i can find space in the pack to store a bottle for refill.
other things: the waist strap tucks away underneath the padding, it has a chest strap with a whistle attached, got a chain of daisy loops and its looks GREAT!
I've also made a bunch of my buddies kinda jealous
It's nice to feel comfortable on a 20mile hike and this pack does it! definitely recommended.

I've had the black surge ii for about a year of regular air travel, and it shows very little wear. I love it. The pockets are arranged by someone who knows, and there's really nothing superfluous about it. I can easily stuff a regular change of clothes plus my dell 16" laptop and a couple books and hit the road. The balance is good, so even with just one strap it stays put.
Justice League Large Rolling Backpack
I purchased this for my son as he was starting kindergarten. Within the first week the mesh drink holder tore. After 2 months the wheel cracked and eventually broke off completely. Also the strap got caught on something and detached from the base of the backpack. Hard to believe we couldn't even make it half way through the school year with a 5 year old and this backpack. Cute design but not durable.

eBags TLS Mother Lode Weekender Junior
This is the absolute best carry-on bag ever, especially if you take smaller planes for short flights. It fits in the small overhead and easily under the seat. Using the eBags packing cubes, I was able to pack 3 days worth of clothes, including a very bulky sweater, toiletries and all my gadgets (iPad, noise canceling headphones, chargers, etc). I love the option to carry it messenger style, although if you pack it with a ton of stuff, backpack style is the most comfortable method. The handles are all perfectly placed and the top loafing pocket is perfect for your liquids bag that you need easy access to going through security. I haven't been able to find a negative to this bag. So well thought out, that I'm sure I'll order the larger rolling version for my longer trips.
It is a little heavier than some others with the same volume (extra zippers, pockets, straps, compartments all add up), but the "square" size (fits strict airline dimensions better than round packs) and extremely versatile storage configurations are great. My wife wanted a lighter, better fitting bag so she bought the Osprey Kestral 48 which weighs a pound less, but her pack is a top loader (geared more for backpacking) and doesn't have near the travel features of the Mother Lode (better organization, lockable zippers, etc.). My wife's Kestral is comfortable for her and the hip belt is very good (a weakness with the Mother Lode), but it is slightly taller and tubular and has difficulty fitting the foreign airline carry-on size restrictions, as well as her having to empty the pack to get at something in the bottom (she does use packing cubes however). It also cost her 3 times as much as I paid.
I solved the Mother Lode hip belt problem (it comes with a thin retaining hip belt w/clip but this cannot transfer any weight to your hips, something you do want to do when carrying it on longer "hikes") by wearing a larger fanny pack tightly stuffed with my fleece jacket and some clothes underneath the Mother Lode to create a "shelf" for the Mother Lode to rest on taking weight off the shoulders. I even customized the fanny pack slightly by sewing a strip of neoprene (rubber side out) to the inside of the fanny pack (against your back) to prevent the fanny pack from slipping (if you have hips you might not need to do this but my torso is fairly straight). You can use the lightweight hip strap (included) to hold the MLode close to your back or somehow clip or tie it to the fanny pack if you need this. Works fantastic. I just received this and here are my initial impressions:Construction: Solid. This appears well made and stitching is strong.
Color: The eggplant is true to the picture. The interior contrasting color is rust.
Main compartment: Surprise there is an expansion zipper. If the product description included this, I missed it. This allows the main compartment to expand an additional 2" to a total depth of 6.5". The center divider clips at the top of each side and can be unclipped to lie flat. There is a 10" x 5.5" pouch that snaps in. The "lid" has a full sized zippered mesh compartment. The clothing straps are solidly built and attached at the bottom with clips at the top to thread the straps through.
Closing the main compartment: The zippers are well constructed although it did require a bit of "back and forth". This may have been because the bag was empty. There are 4 plastic side release luggage strap/clips for further compression and security.
External compartments: The top zipper in the back opens to the laptop compartment with a sling to secure the laptop in place. (Nice touch) The top zipper in the front opens to a pouch that is 5.5" deep (as measured from the lowest point in the front.)
The large front compartment is the size of medium sized backpack with 3 interior zippered compartments and a two small pouches (one is convenient for storing a pen the other may hold a calculator or similar sized item.)
The zipper on the exterior of the backpack "flap" accesses a compartment the size of the whole flap.
A side zipper on the backpack area opens to reveal a sewn-in bag with a drawstring top. (Another surprise) I am not sure of the intent of this but I think it would be perfect for holding sunglasses or reading glasses. In this same compartment is access to a slot for your ID visible to the exterior of the pack. (Again, nice touch)
Straps: It took me a minute to locate the backpack straps. They are stored in the zippered area on the back of the pack. They are securely sewn in at the top and once removed from the pouch will attach via a plastic clip to the bottom of the pack. There is also a waistband strap included for weight distribution. The straps seem to be well padded. Also included is a carrying strap if you prefer to hang this on your shoulder. I don't see myself using this feature.
Purpose: This will be my carry-on for overseas flights. It will store under the seat in front of me and easily slide out for me to use as a footrest while sleeping. (That's my intent anyway)
My only disappointment was when I saw the label "Made in China". I do try not to purchase items manufactured there due to their labor standards.

I wanted a bag that would hold everything I needed for my work week, would be easy to carry through the airport, and wouldn't have to be checked. I chose the junior bag because I'm only 5'3", but worried it would be too small for my needs. I am amazed at how much I can fit into this bag. It holds all my clothes, my laptop, my 10" tablet and so much more. My wife bought me this as a birthday present after she got one and I made positive comments. I think it is a well built and designed bag especially for the business traveler in mind with the various pocket placements and heavy duty zippers. It is expandable with a zipper pull and has four corner compression straps to help secure. Over a standard backpack, this one hinges open so you have quick and easy access to your items. The main compartment has a divider in it so all your stuff does not settle to the bottom which work well with cube packs I use for packing. Well placed pockets for travel paperwork to stay handy and padded place for the laptop. I use just a single strap crossed at an angle for carrying but also has a seperate padded strap you can use to carry over your shoulder to the side and has three handles to pick it up by built in.The clips and connection points however are made of plastic so am personally a little skeptical how they hold up over time but by reviews I have read, this does not seem to have been a issue for others. All said, I am very happy with this purchase so far and would recommend it to my friends. Happy and safe journeys!
Green Frog Kids Backpack
I bought this on myHabit, which I highly suggest if you have kids you check out on a regular or semi-regular basis as it has some terrific buys. Our daughter is going on 17 months and this was a great buy for her. First the main compartment is roomy than I expected. You can fit a good amount of stuff inside. It also has a very soft lining. The outside pocket can hold a few items and has the same soft lining.They did the eyes on top and feet well. They add a nice whimsical touch. Another huge plus is that the straps are very easy to adjust. Which is good because you can make them a little too big so that getting the backpack on is an easy and fun process and then cinch them a little tighter. Finally the attached frog doll can swing around to the front for some added interest and fun. The only downside was a couple of loose threads. But the overall build quality is very good. Nice first packback and it would hold a good amount of stuff. Fun way to stay more organized on outings and playdates. While also letting your little one shoulder some of the burdern in a comfortable and fun way.

First — I bought this at an Apple Store for $100 and have used it pretty much daily for almost three years. I's pretty well-made, the laptop compartment is well protected, the straps are comfortable and easy to adjust, and it is spacious and has lots of compartments (I often carry laptop, iPad, camera, various accessories, charger, etc., and on short trips have used it as my only luggage).Fatal flaw — when overloaded its zippers (even when fully closed) allow it to simply fall open and it cost me an iPad (as in flipped out and shattered). A small number of airport-friendly bags have snaps that can prevent this from happening — but they all seem to cost a lot more than $100. The bag was overloaded when this happens, but not that overloaded.
Note that the bag does have a velcro strap to prevent the laptop from falling out, but this is a weak alternative and in any event was no help for the iPad.
It's a testament to how good this bag is aside from this that I continue to use it.
Non-fatal flaw — the plastic handle (allowing it to be carried like an attache case) is made of a very hard material and is not terribly comfortable. Mine has broken and now presents some pretty sharp edges as well.

A quick preface. I'm very picky with my backpacks. It's the one item I have with me nearly every day of the week. It carries my life and and I need it to be not only functional, it's got to look cool. Having said that, this backpack has a "cool" factor, but it falls down in design in two minor places, that scream to me that the people who designed this don't shop for bags much (or they do, but they are so in love with their own designs that they are wearing blinders.)First the good: Lots of space. Zippers on main pockets open very easily. Padding around laptop is excellent.
Now the bad (and I admit these may not be a problem for other people): 1) There is no clip to hang your keys off of. Every bag I've ever owned has a key hook in it so I don't have to fish into a dark bag to find my car keys. This somehow got forgotten in this bag. 2) While the vast majority of zippers open very easy, the zippers on the two pockets that are located on the sides of the bag get caught when you zip them up. I tend to only have one hand free when I'm going into pockets and if I can't zip the pockets back up (and it's a hassle to zip them down) then I won't use the pockets. The part that is really confusing is that the reason they won't go down is because there is a liner in the pocket in case you want to leave the thing unzipped and put a bottle of water in there, which on paper seems like a great idea, until you try to zip it up and it gets caught. Hard to believe this got past the designers and I'm the first person to notice this.
Anyway, I'm sadly gonna return the bag. It's a nice bag, but I need everything to work right or it doesn't work for me.

Kiken 18-Inch Jedi Mind Trix Custom Build Laptop Shoulder Bag (SL-SB-104-03)
First off, I bought my Slappa Kiken Jedi Mind Trix Laptop Bag off the Slappa website, which has two thumbs up from me. I wanted a durable quality bag, lots of pockets and padding, with good looks to it. Initially I thought this bag was way too expensive, but after seeing that Slappa is consistently rated at the top, I made the investment. I have the laptop bag in front of me as I write this review.Basically, you get what you pay for. This bag is top of the line good. The material is dense, high quality, and well manufactured. The adjustable shoulder strap is heavy duty (reminds me of a black seatbelt) with nice thick solid metal spring clasps and D-rings. The cover of the Jedi Mind Trix has two velcro straps that allow you to strap in any large accessories, i.e. gaming keyboard or whatever. This cover also zips off completely in exchange for other Slappa Kiken covers, giving a neat customization option. Underneath it is velcro which holds the cover down, 3 front zippered pockets with good size, and zippered access to the front compartment. I kinda wanted buckles instead of velcro here, but since everything is zippered in, I don't really want to unbuckle AND unzipper, plus the velcro is that heavy duty stuff and is less clunky. The two big compartments in this bag can be locked with one of those little pad locks.
The front compartment is roomy, big enough to fit several textbooks and accessories. Its got a standard pocket, 4 slots for pens/pencils, and another pocket with a velcro cover. Also there's a full size zipper compartment for more storage.
On the backside is the second big compartment, again with zipper (lock capable) access. This is the side that has the laptop pocket, using a velcro flip up to hold it in. Again velcro doesn't bother me here, since it's zippered as well. My old 17 inch laptop fits nicely and also works for my 15 inch. The padding here is the stiff good stuff that doesn't deform when things push against it. Also there is another full size zipper pocket opposite of the laptop pocket with plenty of space to fit in more stuff.
On either side of the bag underneath where the shoulder strap clips on, are two zippered mini compartments, which feature a mesh pocket and normal pocket inside. I may have wanted a water bottle pocket on one side at least, but that's not a big deal. The two main compartments have a cool feature where they can be unzipped and lain flat or you can velcro in the sides to give it more of a pocket feel.
Bottom line: Everything about this bag is beyond satisfactory. The price may be high, but you receive a first class product that has tons of pockets and lots of room for your stuff. You will not find higher zipper, D-ring, and clasp quality on any other laptop bag to ensure protection and security. I will continue to be a Slappa customer. And yes, I'm a Star Wars fan.
When it arrived I was even more impressed. The design was awesome, the outer material seemed tough, the interior well padded and all the compartments held everything I needed it to and more.
Again, if you have an Alienware 18x then it will fit nicely.
I am completely stoked with this bag! You won't be disappointed if you get this!

I purchased the Kiken Shoulder Bag after doing days worth of research trying to find the right bag to carry my Alienware M17x R3. It is a very large gaming laptop, and there are not too many bags that it will fit in. I actually came across the Kiken pretty early in the search, but I kept looking to see if there were any better options out there. In my search I was looking for a messenger or shoulder bag. I carry my laptop to and from a professional setting, so a backpack wasn't really much of an option for me. That was actually what I was trying to get away from. Protection was a big issue for me as well, though not enough to need a hard case or pelican case. I would be carrying my laptop out to oil platforms with me though, and the people that handle our bags onto the helicopters are not always the most gentle. To top it all off though, I spend a lot of time offshore, so I need to be able to bring everything I need to game, work, and entertain myself while I am out there.All of these things affected my decision on a bag, and I was able to settle in on the Kiken. It took a little extra to make it right, but the end result worked so well that I thought it would help everyone out for me to share the results. I ended up with the Kiken 18" Shoulder Bag and the PTAC Matrix 18" Laptop Sleeve, both made by Slappa. Originally, I was told that the extra sleeve wouldn't be able to fit into the dedicated laptop sleeve of the Kiken, but when I received the items, the first thing I did was try to stick it in there. Fortunatly, it worked! I should note that I put the sleeve into the bag without the laptop in it first. After that point, I was easily able to slide in and remove my M17x without having to take the extra sleeve out. This combination leaves me with unbelievable protection, in a stylish, but not entirely unprofessional bag, that has amazing quality workmanship. Although there is a lot of velcro, so it can be noisy, the velcro is incredibly strong and the hardware is all metal. All of the stitching is sturdy and well done, and the ballistic nylon is very tough. I've already dropped the bag with my laptop in it a few feet and it banged around on some stairs, but the laptop and the bag came out unscathed.
I should also mention that I purchased this bag directly from Slappa, and their customer service was great. They did not have the Jedi Mind Trix sleeve in stock so they called me and we changed it a different one. They offered me a discount on the Jedi sleeve when they received more of them in to compensate the mix up. I've been using the bag for a little over a month now, and I have not run into any problems with it, or had any problems storing all of my accessories in it. I highly recommend this bag.I purchased this bag directly from the Slappa website for my ASUS G73JW laptop. It's a heavy laptop and I wanted something sturdy to carry it.
After 10 months the main handle (not shoulder strap) has separated from the bag on one side. I logged into the Slappa website to see what the warranty is and it's 180 days, so looks like I'm out of luck. I would of expected more than 10 months of use for a hundred dollar bag.
Something of interest. I tried to leave this exact same feedback on the Slappa website and guess what.... My feedback didn't show up. So it looks like only the positive feedback makes it to the big show.

I love this laptop sleeve. It fits around my 13 inch mac perfectly. I keeps it from getting scratched and dirty while it is in my bag. It also soft to the touch both on the outside and in. It has a foamy feel to it. The flap that that closes the sleeve doesn't latch, but it still keeps the laptop safe from falling out. The only thing that I was worried about was the size. At first it appeared too small, but once I tried to put the computer in it, it fit perfectly.
