This is the messenger back my daughter chose to accompany her through 3rd grade, and I am happy to say that it has met the challenge and then some! After one complete school year of being stuffed, soaked, packed, dragged, and otherwise abused, it is still very much intact. The various nooks and crannies are abundant for storing away all kinds of goodies (O, how I love finding sticks from the playground and 4-week-old Craisins!). I'd buy another, if we needed one! This bag came very quickly in the mail (and I got standard shipping), which I am very, very pleased about. I bought it so that I could replace it as my purse when I go on a plane. It's perfect for my needs. Has a sport for the water bottle. I can fit my books, and wallet in it. As well as some fruit to snack on. The quality seems great. And the color is very pretty. As I teacher, I love this bag. It holds all my papers (& laptop if I need it), has great pockets for my phone, water bottle, pens, highlighters, and sticky notes.Very sturdy and I love the color.High Sierra Chip Messenger Bag

I do love this bag...it is very well made and stylish. The only concern I have about it is that it was pretty expensive...but in this case you do get what you pay for.Read Best Reviews of Chrome Metropolis Bag , Black/Black, One Size Here
Mammut Trion Guide Backpack
A couple ways it could be improved:
1) the internal gear loops are too small (but still nice to clip parts of your climbing rack to the INSIDE of your pack for organization)
2) Deueter's pack has 4 plastic D-rings sewn onto the top of the lid for the purpose of affixing compression straps and gear (maybe you're sleeping bag or ground pad). A useful addition without loading on a lot more weight.
3) external daisy chains could use an extra loop above or below their current position
7000 Cubic Inch Alpine Trekking/ Hiking/ Climbing/ Camping Backpack
I bought this pack a few months ago and really didn't have the time to try it out...until last week.
Two of my buddies and I decided to go on a four day back-country hike in the Red River Gorge. I had been on a few of these before but nothing as long and as rugged as this one, and for four days the 7,000 cubic inch space came in quite handy.
I was able to fit: two pairs of pants, two pairs of shorts, a pair of swimming trunks, a hooded sweat shirt, a pair of shoes, a first aid kit, 4 pairs of socks, 3 t-shirts, a flashlight, three 1.5 liter water bottles, two rolls of toilet paper, a two person tent and a .45 handgun in the main compartment. On the upper compartment: toothbrush, deodorant, flint striker and fire starters. Lower compartment I used for food such as canned tuna, beef jerky, soups, ect....
Strapped to the lower half was a thick sleeping pad and a thick sleeping bag. The two side compartments each easily held 1.5 liter bottles snuggly strapped in.
In all it weighed in at around 90 lbs. Which is where the comfort of this pack comes in. Sure it was heavy but it fit great, had well balance and pretty good shoulder padding. With the chest strap and the padded waist strap it made a very heavy haul as easy as it could be.

I was planning to go camping in Yosemite for the weekend and needed to shop for a backpack after I found out my old mainstay had a big hole in the rough-hide leather bottom. Many thanks to Fluffy for that... Anyway, I wanted something quick and cheap when I came across these bags. Holy cow, this camping backpack is a bargain. It is HUGE and has got all the trappings of a fully spec-ed out camping backpack. There are more than enough compartments, straps, and buckles to hold just about any standard gear you'd care to take and it looks I could have catered a New year's bash in this bag. The shoulder, hip, and belt straps are all nicely padded and adjustable. I don't know much about the material and stuff but it came back from my trip in one piece and now I have a real backpack for my next trip. Definitely recommend it for its price.Read Best Reviews of 7000 Cubic Inch Alpine Trekking/ Hiking/ Climbing/ Camping Backpack Here
helloi have been using this pack for a few weeks
the materials, like the circular ball closingsand blue string, used for tighttening up the top pack are cheapely made, as well as the straps... if you put this up againt a north face, jansport or lowe pack for starters, it does not hold a candle. the ergonimic needs for good hiking are lacking in this the design of this pack
one problem is the hip buckle adjustment is not adjustable on the spot, as it is cheaply made. 90 percent of the bodies weight comes onto the hips in movement and a well designed hip pad is imperative. also the 7,000 cu inch measurement statement is including all openings, which is misleading. the basic top to bottom opening does not shore up to even nearly that
in my view this kind of advertising is deplorable
yes, it was an inexpensive pack, but this is no excuse for bad
design.

This pack will do the job of lugging a lot of gear... but it isn't 7000 CI. I can fit my 2 person tent, 4.5 liters of water, enough food for 3 days, 2 days of clean clothing, my glock 19 handgun, stove, sleeping bag and pad. That being said if they would reinforce the cheap plastic buckles and design the side pockets to expand larger this could be a great bag on a budget! It isn't that comfortable but for under $70 buxs compared to over $300 for an Osprey I can deal with that. I have a 3 day trip and 2 day trip on Mt.Baldy and Ice House Saddle Trail on this pack as long as the cheap plastic buckles hold up I am happy with my purchase.Donna Sharp Duffle Bag, Precious

Pokemon Pikachu Large Backpack
Notice the WAS. Unfortunately, the zipper came off one of the tracks today (10-11-11). School started 9-7-11, so it only lasted about 6 weeks. The rest of the backpack is still in great shape. We tried to pry open the zipper piece to put it back on it's track, but a small amount of pressure on the zipper and it snapped apart permanently. The ends of the track were completely sewn into the body of the backpack, so it was impossible to separate the track from the backpack (so we could put the zipper back on track and retack the track to the body of the pack). So the backpack is useless now...we're off to order a Lands End backpack like I wanted to do in the first place, before I gave in to Pokemon fever from my 6 year old. Perhaps this is just a fluke, or perhaps he pulled really hard?? Not sure, but Lands End will warranty it for life if this happens, and we have no recourse on a no-name product. My son loves itits a good size for all his stuff as well. It goes to school with him every day!

My school requires us to use drawstring backpacks, at the beginning of the year I had this very cheaply made drawstring backpack. It ripped quickly so I needed another new, better bag. And then I found this one! I got in it in black (when they had black available). It's very nice and big, fits 2 of my textbooks and some workbooks. I've been using it constantly since September and it's held up well, just ripped a little recently so I've been going lighter on it. Less textbooks. The one thing that annoys me is the strings are slightly thin. But not too thin like my old bag. So it doesn't hurt much, but I would like bigger strings. Otherwise, it was the best money I spent. Most definitely worth it.Read Best Reviews of Large Drawstring Backpack by Augusta Sportswear (in 12 colors, Style# 175) Here
The first day my son used this string bag it ripped right down the whole front of it. I bought the same bag last year for school and it was much stronger and lasted months before it started to show signs of heavy wear and tear.Want Large Drawstring Backpack by Augusta Sportswear (in 12 colors, Style# 175) Discount?
I bought 2 Addidas and a Jordan string back pack for my new middle school son and they didn't last a week. They have to carry so much that they were too small and the seams and strings didn't hold up. He has now had these great string bags for over a month. He can use just one bag to carry everything and they a really strong and lined so nothing it popping out. Definitely will order more!Justice League Large Rolling Backpack

I bought this backpack on clearance from amazon (it was only $25!) and am absolutely thrilled with it. I have owned it for quite some time, and it has held up to every challenge I have put it through. I can easily fit 3 days worth of clothes, my toiletries, and my xbox in this bag, and still have room for other small items. As a daily backpack, this looks very nice, is comfortable to wear, and is very durable. My only complaint is that the straps are a little loose, and are easily nudged out of place. A very minor complaint for an otherwise perfect bag.me gusto mucho el diseño y fue lo que esperaba. recomendado, es un practico y muy buen estilo... es del tamaño perfectoThis was purchased to replace a similar bag that was about two years old. Although it is basically the same shape and style as the old bag, this bag is a little smaller, has fewer extra pockets and is not as well made as the old one, which was disappointing. Still, for the money, it is an ok bag and I will be keeping it.
Everest 7045S-RD 13 in. Deluxe Junior Backpack
Kroo SEAL Series Sleeve fits 15.6-Inch Notebook (Green)
Also they aren't kidding when they call this a sleeve. You basically just lay the laptop in it and zip the case in around it. There is a net pocket inside that could hold something, but the case is so thin that you could never get both a computer and something else inside at the same time. Maybe a few sheets of paper, but that's about it. Luckily there is also a net zip up pocket on the outside that can hold a very small power adapter and a small travel mouse.
I would suggest looking elsewhere for a laptop case. The other issues could possibly be overlooked if the case could at least be zipped closed. But I tried this with both the brand new ASUS and a small 15" Dell we have here as well and that one was an even worse fit. If they had made it just an inch bigger, it would be usable.
Briggs & Riley Brx Exchange 26 Duffle
This is a sturdily built bag, lightweight, versatile, and fairly stainand water-resistant (the test: the contents inside stayed dry after a few unavoidable trudges through nasty rain storms).
There's one interior zip pocket that runs the length of the bag, handy for storing small items, and three external zip side pockets, two of which contain clasps for attaching a removable shoulder strap. The backpack straps are well-padded, adjustable, and comfortable, and can be zipped up when not in use (there's also a sternum strap to help keep the bag in place while you're walking). The only complaint I have about this bag is that when the straps are in use, the flap normally covering them is supposed to be folded up and secured with an elastic band at about where your lower back would hit the bag (check out the pictures on the company's website to see what I'm talking about). I found this design to be a bit of an inconvenience, as the strap is not a tight fit and the flap would sometimes come loose or scrunch up against my back. I'm considering attaching some velcro to it to keep it more secure.
The bottom of the bag is also padded good for your belongings, and good for your back when you're trekking with your stuff. You can stick a lock onto the zippers to the main compartment, which is handy, although I wish the holes were bigger so that I could put on a sturdier lock; two different luggage locks I used during my trip completely fell apart.
This bag weighs about 3 lbs. empty and runs 26 inches long great for smaller framed people or anyone looking to travel light. It holds an impressive amount, though; I was easily able to fit three weeks' worth of clothing and random travel gear inside, and the zip expansion provides 3 inches of additional space to work with. Although it's cutting it close as a carry-on, you could probably swing it on some airlines. Four external adjustable straps allow you to compress your bag and keep it nice and compact.
I think this bag looks much better in person than it does online; it's good-looking and cleanly designed, with no weird bulges, unnecessary design elements, or tacky coloring or logos. The fabric and other materials used look high quality. You don't feel embarrassed carrying it into a decent hotel, but it doesn't look like a theft magnet, either.
Briggs & Riley has a lifetime repair warranty on this bag that seems like it would be easy and straightforward to use according to their website, you just need to mail your bag in although given how well my bag has stood up I don't anticipate having to make use of it anytime soon.
This is a fantastic traveler's backpack, and I'm expecting to get many more good trips out of it.I needed a duffle type bag for a trip to Korea. I had a large wheeled suitcase to check in and I wanted a bag that was not too heavy, could easily fit in overhead, and would allow me to pull my suitcase and hold a briefcase. This bag was perfect. It is well made and easily fit four-five days worth of business clothes (two suits, shoes, four shirts, various sundries). The 26" size was also perfect for side trip from Seoul to Daejeon via KTX train.

I used this to travel around China at hostels. It's a very well-thought out bag that converts to a backpack. I like that it also comes with a shoulder strap that's detachable since I'll use it for a weekend bag for camping back in the States. The pockets are all in great places. It's a rugged bag, looks nice and is very light. I bought it to match another piece from them and I love the fact that it comes with a lifetime warranty. That is worth the extra price to me.Read Best Reviews of Briggs & Riley Brx Exchange 26 Duffle Here

The product itself does what it is meant to do and although the inner pockets have a little give the bottom doesn't so it is pretty stable when inserted into a bag. However, it has an awful odor and whatever you stick in it or around it "catches" the smell. I thought airing it out would help but that hasn't happened so far. I'm hesitant to wash it because it might get ruined so I tried spraying it with Febreeze to see if that will help.Daddy Outdoor Diaper Bag
It's made of a great material and is very sturdy. I do believe that this will last a long time. I do like the leather straps that are on there. Buy this if you're tired of carrying around the "normal" diaper bag.
Note: I also bought a backpack diaper bag as we have another baby on the way. I'll be able to carry our newborn in a carrier in the front and carry this backpack at the same time. So it's a complete win for fathers everywhere. There's enough room to carry our toddler's items and the newborn's.
Eagle Creek Luggage Vagabond Courier Bag
I carried an Acer 11.6" netbook, which fits snugly, along with power cord and mouse. Plus maps and guide book, cell phone, camera and water bottle. Also a travel wallet, pens and a journal bought to fit the outside pocket, plus a trail bar or two. The thing just keeps expanding. I occasionally shoved my rain shell into it, too.
Only quibble is the carry handle, which is thin and seems to be unraveling slightly where it's sewn in. I found it hard to grab by feel, and would like a wider / stouter one much better.

I've been using this daily for about six months and LOVE it. Normally I don't write reviews, but I happened to see that this has a pitiful 2-star rating because of one other comment. It definitely fits a normal iPad. Or even a regular magazine. Lots of good compartments of different sizes and locations. Very comfortable to wear, even for hours in a row. The orange highlight is a nice touch, too.Read Best Reviews of Eagle Creek Luggage Vagabond Courier Bag Here
The color of the actual product is not as pictured. There are large sections of orange that draw too much attention. The size is great for an iPad mini or Nexus 7 but is too tight for a full size iPad.
Thought I could get used to the flap but it just got in the way.
