My 5 yr old got this for her birthday and she LOVES it. Haven't had it for more than 2 months, but it seems very sturdy and well made. The colors pop much more than it seems in the pic. Very pretty / girly.

Very cute and well built. She has the lunch pail to match and it is really good quality. I think I might get away with a few years use before having to get another.

Spongebob Toddler Backpack

Spongebob Toddler Backpackwhen i bought this backpack I thought it is the regular toddler size backpack (since there isn't any size in amazon description) but it isn't. its the smaller size. 9.5 inches long. you can fit very little and its tight. but that's my fault cause i took a chance. anyway. the backpack itself is very durable, I have washed it many times and air dried it and it lives. other than that my son loves SpongeBob but does not care for the character on this backpack in particular.

Travelpro Crew 8 Business Backpack

Travelpro Crew 8 Business Backpack,Spruce,One SizeI've used the Swiss backpack from ~4 years... but wanted to get something more professional looking. This one definitely looks the part but functionality is severely compromised...

Functionality is so compromised that you'd think this company's product developers have never used their own product or a backpack... more like something management dreamed up as features to make the bag not very usable.

The bag dimensions are huge, but looking inside the space utilization is not that great. The ton of holed-liners they have on the inside of almost every panel, snag on everything. There are no pen/pencil holder slots, the individual pockets are not sized for business cards or anything else functional... lipstick/chapstick and that's about it.

Waterbottle pocket: You can't even fit the tiniest airline water bottle and then you're expected to zipper it shut else it will fall out from one side or the other.

Vertical Pocket design on the back looks inviting as a quick-pocket... but it actually goes all the way to the bottom, so you can't really put anything there for quick access because it will end up to the bottom. The seam that you see in the picture just creates a bump on the inside, it's not to create another pocket and to avoid having all your stuff end up to the bottom.

I have bought & used TravelPro luggage for many years and have been very happy with the durability... but this backpack design let me down in a big way.

I really wanted to like this backpack and am sorry to have to return it. I need a professional looking backpack to carry my 17" laptop on business and I already have a Crew 8 suitcase to match. But, the back pack is just too bulky for me. Like one of the other reviewers said, it is well padded and doesn't squash down, so it sticks out quite a bit from your back. I'm a 60 year old woman and need something smaller. It is very nicely made and I'm sure would be great for a larger person or if you need to carry a lot in it.

Buy Travelpro Crew 8 Business Backpack Now

I purchased this for my business trips. I take three or four a month, I travel three to four weeks a month. This backpack has seen about 100,000 miles in the last four months. I highly recommend it for it's durability. I have to cram it under the seat in front of me and even with about 20 pounds of computer equipment and a small purse inside, the bag fits perfectly under the seat in front of me on regular coach seats and all of the first class seats.

I have bought TravelPro before and have been impressed with their durability but this back pack is exceeding those expectations.

This backpack is very well made and is as tough as it looks. The zippers are heavy duty and there is storage galore. I decided to return this backpack because it is too thick overall with semi rigid sides. It doesn't crumple up into a thinner backpack as some might expect. It is almost like carrying a soft side suitcase on your back. If you understand that it semi rigid on the sides and you have a lot to carry, then you will not be disappointed. Plenty of padding for a 17 inch laptop.

On the outside the Backpack is very solid the zippers and stitching is great and the outside pockets are very useful.

However the stitching in the inside of some of the compartments seems a little flimsy and we'll see how it holds up. The Large size of the backpack makes me think that it will not fit under the seat of a small reginional jet but i have asked others and they say it fits fine

Pros

Built solid

looks great

self repairing zippers pulls

plenty of space and well thoughtout compartments

Strap to attach it to your lugguage

comfy shoulder straps

Cons

Size of the backpack

Tight sqeenz for a 15in laptop but fits

the nylon stitching in the folders compartment may not last

May not fit under the seat of some planes

this is a great backpack I will update this review as things change

Meffort 17 inch Flower Leaves Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case

Meffort 17 inch Flower Leaves Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying CaseI buy constantly from amazon and I know by now the exact color things are... this sleeve colors seem burn... the paint is darker and not as vivid but still very pretty.

I have a 16.4 inch lap and expected the sleeve to be a little big but not 2 1/2 inches on top and 2 at the side! I put it inside my bag for extra protection and have to fold it because is way too big on my 17" bag!

The advantage of the sleeve size is that when I grab it by itself I can put my charger, mouse and other gadgets inside.

The padding is very thin, not that much protection.

The other problem was the packaging and I took one star just because of it. it had a small piece of cardboard inside that left a dent in the material and still has it after a few weeks.

The condtions are good, the material feels comfortable. If there has more space for the accessory, that will be wonderful.

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag,Black/Black/Black,LPros:

Simple, compact design

Good organization pockets

Weatherproof lining

Quick access pocket

Sewn in shoulder strap for good stability

Small size is great for 13" MacBook Pro

Cons:

Velcro closure

No grab strap

No laptop sleeve

I was looking for a bag to haul my MacBook Pro 13" and work papers to and from my work. I wanted something compact, light, and comfortable and in a fairly conservative color. The small Timbuk2 Classic fit the bill. I really like this bag, although there are a few additional features I wish it had. I tried out this bag as well as the Timbuk2 D-lux, Timbuk2 Commuter, and Patagonia Half Mass in a local store before deciding on the small Timbuk2 classic.

===========PROS===========

1. Design. Simple bag. Weather proof lining. Organization pockets on inside for your iPod, phone, keys, pens, etc. Has a quick release extension to ease getting it on, but I don't find that I every need to use it with the small bag. adding it

2. Size. The small Timbuk2 is the perfect width for a MacBook Pro 13" and 8.5x11 inch papers without a lot of extra room on the sides for things to jostle around or get lost in the bottom. There isn't much extra room after putting in a laptop and few textbooks, but I found that the weight of the full small bag is about as much as I would want to carry in a messenger bag that puts most of the weight on one shoulder. The medium sized bag seemed to be a big step up in size and was too bulky for me. For days when I need more room, like for workout clothes, I just bring a second bag rather than carry around extra room with me every day. (If you have large bulky, but relatively light, items to carry around then you may want the medium or large bag.)

3. Neapolitan Pocket. So handy to have a pocket you can access without opening the bag. Enough said.

4. Divider. A pleasant surprise here. I was disappointed that the divider was not suitable for my laptop (see below) and had considered cutting the darn thing out of the bag. However, now I find myself using it all the time! It is a great for storing papers/reports so they are both protected and easily accessible. Sit down on the subway...pull out a report. Super!

5. The Shoulder Strap. The strap sewn in along both sides of the bag and is not removable. Having the sturdy wide strap sewn gives the bag a lot of stability. Bags with straps that clip on, swivel and pivot at the point of attachment. This bag doesn't wobble like that.

===========CONS===========

1. Velcro. The Timbuk2 bag has both clips and velcro for securing the flap. I hate the velcro. It is unnecessary because it already has clips, but worse it is noisy. I am reluctant to open the bag during a meeting because of the loud rIIIIpping sound it will create. There is no discrete way to open this bag. (Note: The velcro closure could be negated covering it with a velcro hook strip which I will do at some point.)

2. No grab strap. Other than the shoulder strap, there is no handle on the bag. I often find myself grabbing for a handle on the top of the bag which doesn't exist. You can get a grab handle if you build a custom Timbuk2 bag on their website, but you pay twice as much for the bag.

3. No laptop sleeve. Although the bag has a built-in divider which fits the MacBook Pro perfectly, only the inside side is padded (see my video). There is no padding on the outside or bottom of the divider. This means that if you set down your bag hard on the floor, you run the risk of damaging your laptop. I just use my existing neoprene sleeve with my laptop. It is too bulky to fit into the divider, but is quite secure in the main compartment of the bag. (Note: the D-Lux version does have a padded laptop sleeve. See my discussion on other bags below for why it didn't work for me)

===========Other bags I considered===========

Timbuk2 D-Lux: It has a padded laptop sleeve (although I wasn't impressed by the padding at the bottom of the sleeve), but it doesn't come in black which was a deal breaker for me. I also didn't like the modular organization system which attaches via velcro to the inside of the bag; the pockets weren't as securely attached to the bag which makes getting things in and out of the pockets more difficult.

Patagonia: What I really liked about this bag was that the padded laptop sleeve does not touch the bottom of the bag, the sleeve was a bit bulky and was oddly attached to the inside of the bag. Also the construction of the bag didn't feel as solid.

Timbuk2 Commuter: A bigger bag than the small Timbuk2 Classic, but with more functionality. It has a cool laptop case that flips out to be TSA compliant (i.e. you don't have to take the laptop out of the bag). It also has a grab handle (yeah!) and no velcro on the flap. It was 2nd on my list, but in the end I decided it was bigger than necessary for my daily commute. The laptop case is made to fit a 15" laptop although it my 13" didn't move around too much. I didn't like the detachable shoulder strap with swivel straps as much; I prefer the sewn in shoulder strap of the Timbuk2 Classic. However, this would be a great bag for airline travel as if gives a little more room than the Timbuk2 Classic and the TSA compliant laptop compartment. I may end up buying this as a second bag for traveling.

This is my second Timbuk2 bag. I got the XS size first to just use it like a purse. I commute by bike to work about one day a week and the XS bag just wasn't big enough for a change of clothes and my lunch, etc. I debated getting a Large one but am so glad I went with Medium. It's huge! I'm only 5'1" so it looks a little ridiculous on me but I can ride my bike fine with it full of stuff. I think I will also use it as my luggage for trips occasionally. I got it in Silver/Lime-Aide/Lime-Aide color which is great for visibility on my bike (I don't trust the drivers in NM too much so I try to be as visible as possible). Timbuk2 bags are certainly expensive but worth it I think. They are quality bags and will last forever. I was also glad to find them on Amazon for much cheaper than the Timbuk2 website.

This bag arrived on my doorstep last week, and since then I have been carrying it to and from work every day. I was so happy I found this color in a size Small (it's sold out all over the internet and more expensive on the direct brand's website). I purchased this looking for a bag that would a) not ruin my back due the weight and b) fit my netbook and other graduate-school items such as textbooks, portable hard drive, etc. First of all, I can fit all of my textbooks, netbook, papers, cords, and other little things I used to keep in my purse, with enough room to shove my water bottle in on the side. When it rains, which it has several times this week, the water is completely repelled by the awesome "ballistic" material. When it stops raining, however, I can loosen both of the straps on the front flap and slide my umbrella perfectly along the bottom of the bag, pulling the straps a bit to make the fit tighter.

With that said, I do think it's a slightly confusing bag! So many pockets and compartments, I may have to make some labels to attached to each so I remember where I put things! Also, I would like an outer pocket for a water bottle of some sort. But, since my bottle doesn't leak, I can put it inside.

I am actually happy it does not come with a laptop compartment. The Timbuk2 Freestyle netbook bag could not even fit my netbook (which is slightly larger, at 11.6 inches) because of its precisely-measured compartment. This bag in a size Small does the trick and fits it perfectly, even with a sleeve I previously purchased on it.

As some reviewers have noted, there is no grab strap. However, just shorted the strap so it lays flat against the top of the bag, tuck the extra strap material into the bag, and there's your shorter "grab" strap, should you need it.

I just wanted to mention about the particular size of the bag I bought (small) since it was the hardest part for me when I was buying..

To begin with, I already have a huge messenger bag from another SF based company. And I still like the bag very much, yet it's a little uncomfortable at times, or looks silly when I have a notebook and a pen in a bag that can handle at least two 12 packs. For that reason, I eventually stop wearing it on a daily basis, and started using my backpack instead. But I really wanted my messenger bag back.. as it's so much more convenient and looks better IMO, esp. when you commute on bike.

So I decided to buy a small messenger bag, but Timbuk2 instead this time. The biggest selling point for me was how it had many small inner organizers/pockets, as well as its divider where you can separate your notepads, books, or small laptops (they are very practical for a college student like me). Also, I picked small because x-small looked a little TOO small and medium looked fine but knew I didn't really NEED that much space when I commute everyday cause I prefer to travel light.

Here's list of things I carry usually: textbook(s), notepads, bunch of pens, a mini stapler, an eyedrop, a 10" netbook or a 13" mbp, and a fleece jacket. (plus couple more small stuff). Well they all fit perfectly without trying and my back really appreciates the load and the way it sits securely on my back. If I don't put in my jacket, then I can stuff in a lot more; I just choose not to. You can also strap your jacket using the secure straps. I usually commute by bike or skateboard, and the bag always sits tight on my back. VERY comfortable if you know how to wear it properly. There's also a loop on the bottom front of the bag where I put a blinker on for night riding..

There's tons of favorable reviews on Timbuk2 products. I just wanted to let you know that small can be adequate enough for daily use, and feels a lot better than having a loaded big thing on the back. It also helps you to limit the things so you don't carry unnecessary things. My first Timbuk2, def. not my last one.

I just got this messenger bag in a size medium and am absolutely obsessed with it. I wanted a new bag for school and since my university involves walking around the city and taking the subway, I needed something that could carry a lot of stuff but still looks cool and allows me access my things easily on-the-go.

Sizing:

I was afraid that a medium would be too big but I'm 5' 4" and medium looks fine on me. If you are concerned about accidentally ordering a huge bag and want to look at pictures of people with different Timbuk2 bags and sizes check this site out: . It was really helpful with my decision. I think that medium is the perfect size honestly and it has enough pockets to carry all those little things you didn't know where to put before. I can fit my laptop, a couple folders, 2 large science textbooks, gym clothes, a water bottle, pens, highlighters, ear plugs, band aids, ibuprofen, lotion, wallet, keys, all my computers cords, and a calculator. (not gonna lie though, it's heavy with those damn textbooks)

Laptop sleeve:

I have a 13" macbook and was actually glad I didn't spend the extra money on the "love glove." It's probably really nice but I already have a padded sleeve for my laptop and with it on, my computer fits really nicely in that slot.

Pockets:

There is a pocket for everything. Seriously. There are pockets in the front, including the Napoleon pocket which is really nifty. And then the pockets on the inside. AND THEN there is a zippered pocket that has more pockets inside (behind the former inside pockets).

Price:

Since I'm a college student, this seemed like a lot of money to dish out for a bag but there are AMAZING deals on Amazon. I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse Deals for only $43.99... Yeah, it's used but as long as you find one that says "like new" it actually looks like new. I can still smell warehouse on it. But, if you aren't happy, you can always return it with Amazon's awesome return policy. So no worries.

Overall this bag is amazing and if you are looking for a durable bag for school, work, beer, babies, what have you, this is the bag for you.

Designer Sleeves 13-Inch Autumn Birds Laptop Case (13DS-AUTB)

Designer Sleeves 13-Inch Autumn Birds Laptop CaseFirst, I love this sleeve. Beautiful design, good cushion for a laptop and I loved that there is an outside pocket for power cord and such.

I searched for 15.6" laptop sleeves for the new Asus I ordered. I did not realize that the choices included other sizes as well this was the only design in a laptop sleeve that really caught my eye and I was excited to order it.

Unfortunately, it seemed rather small upon arrival, and when my laptop arrived a few days later it confirmed the sleeve is inches too small.

Now I have to debate whether I want to pay 8.48 in UPS shipping to return, OR contemplating using it to cary file folders and catalogs for my business since the plastic accordian file I have is busted, and it appears this could expand and possibly work.

High Sierra AT658 26 -Inch Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps

High Sierra AT6 26' Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack StrapsMy old luggage of 25 years finally had to be replaced. I was looking for new luggage and asked several stewardesses what they would recommend. This is one brand they suggested. It has a divider inside. It can be carried like luggage or wheeled. In addition it can be carried as a backpack, because of the back straps. There is a larger size, but when the expansion is employed by unzipping, I would be right at the weight limit for air travel, which is why i wanted the 26" size. Cheaper luggage is available, but lacks the quality the numerous options for carrying.

This pack accompanied a 21 yr old female student to Florence for school. According to her, it was extremely functional and well-designed. She is about 5-4 and sturdily-built; she had no problem hoisting it fully-loaded and carrying it as a backpack. Believe me, it was FULLY loaded..within 1 lb or so of the 50-lb limit, on return trip.

No new damage was noticed upon return but it mostly served a apt storage unit between the plane trips. Wheels and straps were sturdy.

Buy High Sierra AT658 26 -Inch Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps Now

Preface: I purchased 3 bags. This one, the 22-inch (smaller) version and the 32-inch (larger) version.

This bag in particular is too large to carry on, so I've checked it on a number of flights. I think you'd have to work pretty hard to go over 50 pounds worth of stuff in it, unless you like to travel with bricks or something. When I use it, its usually on midsize trips, 2-5 days or so, along with the carry-on 22 inch bag.

As far as the series AT-6 luggage in general, some reviewers have knocked it because its not a spinner type (4 independent wheels), and I'm not sure why, its pretty obvious its not. If that's what you're looking for, all I can tell you is that this luggage isn't what you're looking for.

All roll aboard luggage with the retractable handle like this takes up space inside and this bag is also no exception. There is a thin piece of material between the compartment and the telescope path which is flexible, so you could probably cram a few extra pairs of socks in if you plan ahead.

I have taken these bags on numerous trips since purchase and they're holding up very well, checked and as carry-on. I've not had any broken contents (knock on wood) in any case, nor have any parts or straps been torn or broken (knock on wood).

The built-in ID card holder is a really nice feature, protected from the elements and is attached by a piece of elastic so it can't simply fall out and be lost (spreading your personal information all over the airport). I don't use the backpack straps much, but on the smaller bag, they're comfortable. I find the this and the larger one too heavy to wear like that comfortably.

The only way I could suggest High Sierra make this series better (again, I'm not letting it detract from my rating because it is clear it doesn't have this feature) is to add a "daisy-chain" strap for easier towing of more than one piece. This problem is easily corrected with a simple, economical product: Travelon Multi-Bag Stacker

I have the larger version of this bag and liked it so much, but you can easily over-pack and end up paying more money at the airport check in. My wife and I were going on a trip to the UK and they have even more strict weight regulations, so we bought this model (the 26 inch size) and were very happy. We didn't get charged any over-weight fees and we packed these bags up tight. I also like the wheels and the backpack which in the UK helps a lot because they aren't as efficient (i.e. lazy, haha)as us Americans and have more stairs.

Want High Sierra AT658 26 -Inch Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps Discount?

I traveled for several weeks in Asia with this bag, staying in several hotels, traveling by plane/bus/taxi, etc. The bag served me well. But, it is strangely shaped, and pretty heavy (I believe it is almost 10 pounds). The weight meant that I was frequently flirting with airline limits on small planes. And, while I bought it because I liked the shoulder/backpack straps, between the weight, the shape/balance, and the way the straps are designed, there is no way that I could ever have "worn" this thing (and, yes, I can backpack with a 50 pound pack...if it is a *real* backpack).

Which brings up the shape: The bulge at the top means that when you are standing it, a lot of the weight is hanging out beyond the bottom support...so the bag was *VERY* tippy...it rarely would stand stabily. And, as mentioned above, a lot of the weight is pretty far back from the backpack straps...which is about the last thing you want in a backpack.

All in all, this is a well made bag, with good features...but would serve much better on a car trip than on public transportation.

Gregory Jade 28 Technical Pack

Gregory Women's Jade 28 Size: SmallFirst of all I should warn you that I am a rabid supporter of Gregory packsI had a zipper malfunction on my first Gregory pack ever and it was repaired free no questions asked by Gregory Corp. This pack just confirms my previous experiencesthe pack is well designed, fits like a glove, is highly adjustable, has its own rain cover, and most importantly for methe waist belt fits around my plus-sized waist (size 20). Gregory's women's packs are designed to fit a woman's frame, from the wider hips to the narrower shoulders to fitting over plenty of curvesand with the built-in hydration pocket and port, this pack fits plenty of gear for an extended day-trip. I am the leader for a hiking group (PNW Leisure Hiking), and I regularly carry not only my own daily gear but an oversize first-aid kit and two large nalgene bottles for when newbies forget their waterplenty of weight but I never noticeeven with a bum knee this pack distributes the weight so evenly that I can go all day without noticing how heavy my pack really is. Even a fraction of the weight in a standard one-size-fits-all pack kills me after about an hour. I suspect this won't be my last Gregory pack (not because it wears out but because I plan to start backpacking), and each of my old packs has found a new home and continues to be carried to this day.

took this to peru & used for trekking on the inca trail. perfect. and perfect carry on size. I'm looking at getting another gregory pack that is slightly larger for other Bucket List adventuring. great product.

I have been an avid adventurest for over a decade. I backpack, climb and mountinier. I needed a daypack that wasn't big and bulky for my steep mountain summits. I couldn't believe how well this pack fit and dispersed the weight on my hips! It even solved two of the hardest items to pack! It has convient outer clips to hold both trekking poles or an ice axe. But the best was the open outer pocket that was specifically designed for a snow shovel! Brilliant! Problem solved. It even has a drain for melted snow/ice so it doesn't collect. It is also good for a helmit, jetboil, nalgene etc. If you want your pack complelety covered and safe from the elements, there is a hidden pouch that holds a waterproof pack cover. This amazing pack suites a wide range of abilities for diffenent excursions, and you hardly know its there.

I was shocked when I received this Gregory Jade 28 Technical Pack! The outermost compartment of this pack IS NOT fully enclosed or covered. The opening is held "closed" with a plastic clip attached to a piece of nylon webbing. The edge of this pocket can easily get caught on brush, branches or a protruding rock, snagging the pack and throwing the wearer off balance. This aspect goes beyond inconvenient, towards potentially dangerous. Additionally, gear could get wet, dirty / dusty or fall out! This is a terrible design element from such a brilliant equipment manufacturer! Of course, the pack is very well made and overall beautifully designed. If you're carrying a large object (that can't fall out) in the outermost pocket and you don't care about getting snared by branches, rocks, etc. OR your gear getting wet or dirty, this just might be your perfect pack for you! I sent mine back.

Zuca Bag Calypso- Brown Frame

Zuca Bag Calypso- Brown FrameThe Zuca bag has become the standard carry-all for figure skaters, and as and adult skater, I resisted buying one for awhile. It's hard to imagine that a bag can possibly be worth $150, but I have to say, I've never regretted a penny I've spent on it. There are numerous features that make this a great bag. It's very roomy inside (even more so than it looks)I can fit skates, a couple of pairs of guards, towels, change of clothesit all goes in the main compartment. The bag also has numerous side pockets and compartments. Some zipper, some do not. My CDs, water bottle, extra socks and tights, papers, etc. all go in the side pockets. This really does serve as a carry-all. It's so much easier to just wheel one bag into the rink. This bag is also sturdy. An adult can easily sit or stand on it (I can say that from experience, as I stood on it to open my window when I locked myself out of my house.) The frame is remarkably sturdyI was actually surprised when I got it at just how sturdy it was. In sum, for those who figure skate alot, and have lots of gear, I've found this bag to be indispensable. It's deinitely pricy, but it was well worth the money.

I am *very* happy with this bag! It is nicely constructed and beautiful!

(2 comments tho:

1) the adhesive velcro that attaches the top of the bag to the inside of the frame doesn't always stay attached well, but everything else is so well made that this doesn't affect the look or use of the bag at all, I just reattach it whenever I notice that it has come loose.

and,

2) My bag arrived with no instructions on how to attach the bag to the frame. I had no trouble figuring out how to put it together by just looking at it all and looking at pictures online. But I thought it was odd that there were no directions at all.)

I really love the color, it is great, and perfect but the upper straps don't attach to the metal for some reason. Maybe I am doing something wrong, I just tried so many ways, but nothing works. I just added some Velcro to fix it. Rest is perfect, except one zipper is not that great.

I have had this exact bag for almost 2 yrs. Love this thing. I am a cosmetologist and have used it many times to carry my tools, etc.. to weddings, shows, etc... I usually will need something else as well because it is not huge, but holds enough and can be well organized. I recently started back to college and now use it daily on campus. Get LOTS of compliments on it. The bag has developed 2 tears. One is in one of the small side pockets so if I put anything into it, it slides down into the larger pocket beneath. The other is at the bottom corner of the main compartment front zipper, and I am getting ready to order a new insert. Seeing that they run around $30, that is well worth it. I feel that I've gotten my money's worth from the bag itself. Also, is cheap enough that you can change it out when you get bored with the color. This bag pushes or pulls extremely easy. I've had people say why do I lug this heavy thing around but then I let them push or pull it and they are like "wow, that's nice". Also I have had 4 knee surgeries so any chance that I can sit while everyone else is standing is a plus for me. I can keep my lab coat and lab goggles in one of the side pockets so they are always there when I need them for class. Also there are interior pockets where I like to keep a small stapler, mints, lead refills, cough drops, etc.. at hand for whenever I need them. I feel like I am always prepared because I can keep it stocked. Great bag, climbs certain steps well, but not all. Not sure why. One of my classmates ended up buying one too and she totes it everyday as well. She feels the same as I do. Feel pretty prepared with this thing. Fits her Mac, my laptop doesn't fit.

15 15.6 inch Pink Butterfly Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case with Hidden Handle & Adjustable

15 15.6 inch Pink Butterfly Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case with Hidden Handle & Adjustable Shoulder Strap for 14' 15' 15.6' Apple Macbook, Acer, Asus, Dell, Hp, Sony, Toshiba, and MoreThis is a nice product but It's basically just a pretty sleeve for carrying the laptop. It doesn't provide enough space to store the power supply; you'll have to lug that along seperately in your purse, suitcase, etc. Also, it's very thin...don't expect any protection from this bag if you happen to drop your laptop or maybe bump it against a wall. It doesn't provide much padding.

So, to summarize, if you want a very cute, well built, affordable carrying sleeve/fashion accessory for your teenage daughter's laptop, this one is great. But, if you want a "real" laptop case that you can store your power supply/mouse/cable in, and will provide some padding, invest in something a little more expensive...Targus makes a good laptop case.

Bought this for my niece along with a matching mousepad. She really likes the fact that it is waterproof and has the shoulder strap which was lacking from some others. I particularly loved the price and the many design offerings from this company.

I just wish it was more room and it had more padding in it. I'm always scared that my screen will get cracked in it because its so thin.

Mud River The Sherpa Sack

Mud River The Sherpa SackNice looking bag; I like the handle and pockets (one inside and out), the backpack-style straps are nice too, heavy duty, no plastic. HOWEVER, this is not what I would call a WAXED canvas bag, as the advertising states. Perhaps I was misinformed, but I own several waxed COTTON garments, and I just assumed this bags material would be similar...it is not. It is indeed canvas, but as far as I can tell there is no wax treatment involved, or any other waterproofing treatment for that matter. I'm not even going to try and use this bag in wet conditions as-is because I don't trust it to be consistently waterproof, as waxed canvas/cotton is supposed to be. However, I won't be sending this bag back because I've got several gallons of the stuff (homemade waterproofing wax) necessary to redeem this bags otherwise lacking qualities, and I hope that it'll become a very necessary and trusted part of my outdoor arsenal. I would've paid more for a bag with a real waxed treatment: bottom line (as far as I'm concerned) is that this is simply a glorified army duffel, marketed to dog trainers and sportsman.

Alite Design Hiraki Convertible Day Pack - Versatile and Transformer - Can Be Used As Backpack, Tot

Alite Design Hiraki Convertible Day Pack - Versatile and Transformer - Can Be Used As Backpack, Tote, and Cross-bodyI have the previous model of this pack, which does not have the cross-body strap and looks a little different, but I think most of my complaints apply to this model as well. It's a cute pack, and I like the idea of a pack that converts into a tote. It just doesn't work that well in practice. The straps make it hard to get big things into / out of the pack. If you keep the sternum strap on (it's removable, and I removed mine), you can't pull the shoulder straps up very far to work as tote handles. Also, when I'm at the farmer's market or on campus, it's a pain to have to take the pack all the way off my back to access the main pocket I can't swing it around on one shoulder to get into the pocket, or have someone else get something for me, because the straps pull the pack closed. (On the other hand, this makes me feel like things are a little more secure in there while I'm wearing the pack.)

All that said, it's not a terrible pack. It seems well-made, the bright colors are fun, and it's unique. I like supporting relatively small, local (to SF) businesses. I don't regret spending $55 on the old model closeout, but I'm not sure I would spend the full $80.

I do like that they added the cross-body strap and a side pocket on this model those seem like improvements over the model I have for sure.

I agree with the previous person. The price is not cheap but all ALITE design products are not cheap. I bought this one from a trade show and used it since then. Solid material and very comfortable and smart design. People always ask me where I got it when we were at local farmer's market. The regular store recycle bags are cheap looking not elegant, this one is great.

eBags Small Packing Cubes - 3pc Set

eBags Small Packing Cubes - 3pc SetWhen these packing cubes came in the mail, I was a little doubtful as to how useful they were actually going to be. Until I used them!

They were a little smaller than I expected them to be, but I think that actually makes them more, rather than less, useful.

These are great. They kept my (one big compartment) suitcase so neat. As I traveled, I could split them up for clean/dirty clothes and when I went overweight at the airport, I just grabbed one of the cubes out of my suitcase and carried it on and didn't have to pay the $150 overweight fee.

I bought the blue/teal color. It's nice.

I have found eBags Small packing cubes far better than eBags Slims for packing women's intimate items. It's difficult to position even the smallest pieces of delicate clothing into the Slim-sized cubes without snagging them in the process.

I purchase a set of Rick Steve's Packing Cubes and found that the zipper was a bit of a challenge. Feeling that I needed more packing cubes, I ordered this set and was much happier with these than the Rick Steve's set. They are strong and sturdy, with a smooth running zipper. They made a 3 week trip traveling to 6 different foreign cities so much easier.I never had to dig down into my suitcase to find anything because each catagory of clothing was in it's own cube.

When these arrived, I thought: hmmmm, kind small for the money. Then I started rolling my undies and small clothing items and was amazed at how much fit. I absolutely love these and can see so many uses, besides in luggage:

Teachers and the zillion things you have to keep organized

Sewing supplies

Moms, you know how much you tote around for your kids

Camping gear, endless smaller stuff

Horse lovers: curry comb, hoof pick, bandages -you get my drift!

Bumble Bags Stacy Shopper Tote

Bumble Bags Stacy Shopper Tote, Evening BloomI got this tote to match another Bumble bag I have in the same print (Evening Bloom). I really really love this tote. There are two small pockets on the inside which just fits my Android phone in one and my keys in the other now they don't get lost when I shop! there is also a handy front pocket and a small zip pocket on the inside. Would be a great place to store coupons or other things while shopping. It's a good size too and the fitted straps stay on your shoulder.

Great set my daughter loved it ........... ........... ...... Great shower gift it was a hit for the stoller love

AmeriLeather Ladies' Leather Backpack

AmeriLeather Ladies' Leather BackpackAfter 9 years of a diaper bag backpack, it was finally time to look for something a little less babyish. During those 9 years of diapers, I grew to love backpacks as an alternative to purses. With kids, often times my hands are full or I'm trying to hold one of their hands and it's so very annoying when your purse keeps slipping down your arm. With a backpack, life is much easier.

I wanted one that would be attractive, not too big since I'm a light traveler but bigger than the mini-packs, sturdy because I absolutely hate picking out purses/bags (took me 4 weeks to make a final decision on this one), and simple. I don't need a lot of pockets and zippers.

My main concern with this bag was the comment about it not being particularly feminine and not exactly durable. Since everything else about this bag looked good, and all other comments positive, I decided to buy it. I went with black and so far, I'm very happy with it. It's very attractive and sturdy. The straps are much thinner than the picture indicates. The main storage area is just right. Inside this area is a spot for your cell phone to slide into which is nice, but could stand to be a little bigger. Since my phone is in a cover it's a pretty tight squeeze to get it to fit. The front zipper compartment is a nice size for wallets or glasses. There's a `hidden' zipper at the back of the bag you can use to access the main compartment. An interesting feature, but I haven't seen a real good purpose for it yet. Anyway, overall I'm very pleased with it. If the snap falls off next week, though, you can bet I'll be back to update this review with a much different rating :-)

but not as it turned out what we were looking for. Felts that the straps were too narrow to provide comfort for toting around all day by a person with back problems.

Bella Taylor Ironstone Mini Back Pack

Bella Taylor Ironstone Mini Back PackThis style of purse is just what I was looking for. I love the pattern, the backpack style, the colors, and the straps. The zippers are easy to operate and the size is just right for my needs. The only thing I would have liked this purse to have is more pockets one on each of the sides for quick grabs, and it's lacking an inner pocket. It seems well made although it wasn't sewed evenly, but it's not as noticeable when it's fully loaded with all my girly stuff.

Hannah Montana Full-size Backpack W/guitar

Hannah Montana Full-size Backpack W/guitarI bought this bag for my niece. She loved the bag. She specially loved the small guitar purse attached in the front of the bag. The quality of the bag was not bad at all.....

Its not a very big bag. Would fit in a couple of books.

Glad i got it....

TRENDnet Padded Backpack Carrying Case for 15.4 Inch Laptops TA-NC2 (Black with Sliver Accents)

TRENDnet Padded Backpack Carrying Case for 15.4 Inch Laptops TA-NC2I need to use this bag awhile to give a thorough review, but since there aren't any reviews so far, I thought I'd share some initial impressions. The good: outside appears sturdy to deal with commuting; nice clips and decent should pad on the strap; convenient outside pocket w/ 3 pen holders, a plastic carabiner clip and small pocket; backbackpack straps pack nicely into a zipped compartment; and inside size/padding are sufficient to hold 15.4 laptop and other electronic essentials. A plus is that a backpack strap or the shoulder strap can be clipped to carry as a messenger bag (left or right). I'm a long-distance commuter on public transportation, so my major disappointment is that the designers apparently failed to measure a typical water bottle. Both outside bottle holders are much too small, and I question whether the mesh will hold up. The inside pockets are made using a thinner fabric. Hard to say whether they'll rip and fray with use. As an FYI, I'm a 5'9" female and find the approx 16" height of the bag on the edge of being too tall to comfortably wear cross-body in front (my preferred for commuting). The thinner vertical profile is nice for wearing on the back, especially compared to bulkier backpack bags. The three stars is because the exterior bottle holders were the only reason for my purchase of this particular bag.

Belkin Slim 15" Notebook Polyester Backpack, Black/Light Gray

Belkin Slim 15' Notebook Polyester Backpack, Black/Light Gray***The attached video is just to show you the bag, and some of its features***

I just got this in the mail, and I am very excited about this backpack.

While this backpack looks simple (which is great), it really is a feature-packed backpack.

There are pockets galore of every size you could imagine.

The padding for the laptop is out of this world. Thick on both sides, while having a soft, felt liner. Great!

A removable bag that fits my power cable, mouse, flash drive and all my computer accessories, but that slides into a the bottom of the bag form-fittingly. That's really handy. (see video)

Cell phone/iPod pocket on the shoulder strap

Music pocket on the back with headphone hole.

It looks like the picture, meaning it looks REALLY cool!

This small bag can fit a lot of stuff and remain thin. It's incredible.

The only thing I wish I could do with this bag is have a sleeve for a water bottle, but that's a small thing that most don't even use.

Also, this bag IS made for 15.4" notebooks. I have a 10" netbook. The length of my computer (side-side) happens to be the same width as the sleeve, so my computer fits perfectly when I turn it. However, if you have anything in between, it won't be very form-fitting. (see video)

Comment if you have any questions about the product! I'm happy to answer :)

Everyone complaining about this bag being too small should have read the reviews before buying it. Yes, it is very "slim." I'm a college student and I had a large Targus backpack before this one, and that was just too large for my everyday needs. When I got this bag I was very surprised at how light it really was. The construction is great. The straps are well padded, and the back of the bag that rests against your back is also well padded. One of the straps has an elastic pouch on it to hold small items like a pack of gum or keys or whatever. It isn't easy to see though, and it lies flush with the surface of the strap when it's not being used. As far as storage goes. I can fit my laptop (a 15.4 inch MacBook Pro), a large textbook, a spiral notebook, a regular 2-pocket folder with stuff in it, 2 portable external hard drives with their USB cables, a pack of gum, 2 pens and pencils (there are only 2 actual pencil/pen holders, but you can use other slots for more), earbuds for my mp3 player, the apple remote for my laptop, and a couple other small things in the main compartment itself. Then in the secondary compartment I have my laptop power supply, the power supply extension cord, a 6-foot firewire cable, my iPod nano, and the iPod connector cable. In the side compartment (where the thin gray section is on the front of the bag in the picture shown) I can fit an audio cable (1/8" to 1/8"), another audio cable (1/8" to RCA stereo), and probably a few more thin things like that. and all of this stuff can go in this bag without over-stuffing or bulging. So, for being such a tiny bag, it can really hold a lot. I've been using it for 1 month now and it has been great. (no zipper problems, tears, or anything. which is what i expected anyway.) so if you're like me, and you only have to carry around maybe one large textbook at a time and your laptop, this is a great bag. It looks good and it is quite comfortable. It's super light and has enough space for what I need.

pros: nice design, just right size, comfortable back and shoulder, looks very neat.

cons: too many useless small inside pockets and no partition, not a good backpack for books,

overall: if you need to carry notebook and small number of other stuffs, buy it. If you need to carry notebook as well as other books and notebooks, forget it.

It fits my macbook pro 17" just perfectly, along with the power cord, the external HDD, my headphones, ethernet cable, and wireless mouse. There's also a mobile phone pocket on the front of the straps. It's extremely compact and stylish. Unlike typical backpacks, it doesn't stick out very far from your back. It's almost like it integrates with you.

Unfortunately, the colour options suck, and the straps sit really stiffly on your shoulders.

UPDATE: I bought this July 20, 2008. It is now April 18, 2011, and both of the bags that I bought have completely crapped out. One of the zippers of the main compartment has snapped off, making it possible to close with only one zipper. The place where the straps attach have started to come undone. We don't mistreat the bags. Both are filled with a laptop, and cell phone, wallet, keys, etc. Possibly the charger, depending on the day, and maybe an extra battery. Mine held a 17" macbook pro, and the husband's held a 15 inch dell xps something or other. Both were used daily (or almost daily) for about an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening (which is roughly the amount of time we'd commute to and from work).
