Nice looking bag; I like the handle and pockets (one inside and out), the backpack-style straps are nice too, heavy duty, no plastic. HOWEVER, this is not what I would call a WAXED canvas bag, as the advertising states. Perhaps I was misinformed, but I own several waxed COTTON garments, and I just assumed this bags material would be similar...it is not. It is indeed canvas, but as far as I can tell there is no wax treatment involved, or any other waterproofing treatment for that matter. I'm not even going to try and use this bag in wet conditions as-is because I don't trust it to be consistently waterproof, as waxed canvas/cotton is supposed to be. However, I won't be sending this bag back because I've got several gallons of the stuff (homemade waterproofing wax) necessary to redeem this bags otherwise lacking qualities, and I hope that it'll become a very necessary and trusted part of my outdoor arsenal. I would've paid more for a bag with a real waxed treatment: bottom line (as far as I'm concerned) is that this is simply a glorified army duffel, marketed to dog trainers and sportsman.Save 6% Off
