BAZIC School Backpack, 15 Inch, Assorted Colors

BAZIC School Backpack, 15 Inch, Assorted ColorsI purchased 6 Back packs from Amazon. They met my expectations, variety of colors, good quality of fabric. I was looking for a lightweight backpack and these were.

The size is very small and the color you can't select. The Blue one is a lot lighter blue than the picture not. Other than that its a decent product. Can't complain when I only paid $5.

Tumi Luggage Alpha Long Wheeled Garment Bag

Tumi Luggage Alpha Long Wheeled Garment Bag, Black, LargeBought several pieces of Tumi luggage several years ago, had many problems zippers failing off, handles ripping, pegs on sides that you set the bags down on cracked off. Called Tumi ALL issues were wear and tear noting covered by the warranty. Word to the wise do not spend the money on these over priced bags.

The bag is great for organzing all your stuff while traveling. Problem-if you pack it to the limit you will be over 50lb limit--the first time I used this bag I was 9lbs over --OMG. Also after just one trip some of the zippers have paint flicked off and one had the zipper pull broken. Very minor things-come on this is a suit case... but I feel like paid a lot for this suit case and I want to figure out how to keep it looking good longer than my traditional suit case. Overall it is still a Tumi and about as attractive as a suit case can get.

Spongebob Toddler Backpack

Spongebob Toddler Backpackwhen i bought this backpack I thought it is the regular toddler size backpack (since there isn't any size in amazon description) but it isn't. its the smaller size. 9.5 inches long. you can fit very little and its tight. but that's my fault cause i took a chance. anyway. the backpack itself is very durable, I have washed it many times and air dried it and it lives. other than that my son loves SpongeBob but does not care for the character on this backpack in particular.

5.11.56997 All Hazards Prime Bag

5.11 All Hazards Prime Bkpk BlkGreat bag! If you like to keep things in a certain place this is the bag for you. Using the webbing on the inside works perfect for my needs. I have tried numerous bags and this seems to be the best I've found in an every day bag.

Not to big, but gives you enough room for a couple of days if you needed it. It has enough room for 3 days easy but the compression straps make it small when you don't need the space.

The front stuff space works perfect for those days when it rains then stops and rains then stops and so on and so on and you want to stow your rain jacket.

The admin pocket is large you can carry to much stuff you don't need.

The sleeves covered with MOLLE on both sides accommodate the ESSE Junglas perfect and most all fixed blade knives would fit just fine there. They will also fit on the MOLLE inside.

The shoulder straps are comfortable and they do not slip off your shoulder when carrying one strap style like the kids. The material 5.11 used for them is nice and stable on your shoulder. The material lets air circulate on the shoulder as well as the back, minimizing that sweaty pattern on your shirt the girls love.

The orange interior panels are brighter than they look in the Internet photos I've seen and would definitely aid in being seen if lost and in need of rescue. The color also helps silhouette what you have attached to the MOLLE.

Padded laptop sleeve

Padded tablet sleeve

Hydration compartment

It comes with attachment points for a hip belt. When I received the bag I realized these point will fit up to a 1 3/4" web belt, really cool.

Quality from a quality company. This is my first review. I've bought at least 100 items on Amazon and this one made me want to do a review.

I'm going to try and post a pic with comments. For some reason I cant attach it to this review.

I was unsure whether I should buy either one or the other backpack. My first attempt was to get the Rush 72, but it was too big for a daily basis use. Therefore these other two backpacks seem to have a regular size, which I would be able to carry with me everyday. The All Hazards is more expensive, I bought it in $160 while the Rush 24 was about $110 (both in black). The reasons why I chose the first one over the other were several. The All Hazards have a laptop + tablet compartment, where I can fit my 13" laptop and my minitablet, but you could perfectly fit a bigger tablet and a 15" laptop, not sure about bigger laptops, but it might work. Another reason is that this backpack unlike the Rush 24 has the "expandable" space between the main and front compartments, which you can have also on the Rush 72. Also the handle on the top from this backpack is more comfortable. The mesh compartment on the front main compartment was a plus for me because you can have all sort of arrangements. The only two things that I liked better from the 24, were that it had more pockets on the front compartment, and that it had a small top from compartment, but I fixed this by buying a pouch and attaching it to the Hazards.

The overall quality of the product is superb, just as any of the other 511 products, it seems that this backpacks can last for years. I have mine already for 2 months only, but I have no complaints so far.

Just in case you want to see more pictures of this backpack, go to the 5.11 website and there are some nice pics and vids, beware that the version of the backpack sold here, doesn't include the two "med/ammo/misc" pouches.

It's constructed well and built to last. It has plenty of space and pockets and molle straps on most of the surfaces. It would be nice if the description listed what size of laptop the padded pocket was designed for. I have a 17" and it barely fits in the large back pocket (not the padded, I had to use some padding material from the packing the computer came in to protect it). I assume the padded pocket would hold up to a 15.6" laptop without problem.

Good storage, great design and it holds anything. I would recommend this for any use! If it will fit, it will work and stay safe.

I served 9 years in the Army and am familiar with many different bag types and manufacturers. 5.11 is a great company that many people use. I know Soldiers and Law Enforcement Professionals that own many of the items they make and have used them overseas in austere conditions. Since my exit of service I landed a job doing AV/IT work and I use this bag as a tool bag and I am highly confident that this bag will be the last one I buy for many years.

PROS:

I use it everyday and I really am thrilled with all of the molle attachments inside. I use them to hold wire cutters and crimpers that I use regularly for my job. It also holds both a Mac laptop and PC laptop which I use daily to test equipment. I commute a lot and it keeps all of my stuff in one spot. I also really dig the pouch on the front, I put replacement parts in there when I pull them from our logistic points. This bag works perfect for what I use it for.

Cons: Opening and closing the bag isn't really a chore, but there is an extra step with the clips on the side. This is me digging for a con, when I say this.

Over all I would definitely buy this bag again and recommend it to others.

Designer Sleeves 13.0 Designer Sleeve - Pink Hearts

Designer Sleeves 13.0 Designer Sleeve - Pink HeartsI purchased 2 of these bags now and the zipper broke on both within a week. If you don't care if it zips up, it's a fun looking bag. But if you want something you can safely zip your laptop in, this is not it.

If you have to carry your laptop around, do it in style. Nicer than the plain black cases that are out there. Great fit for my macbook pro.

Asics City Sackpack

Asics City Sackpack, Magenta/Mulberry, AllLight weight. Three main holding areas very convenient. Zipper outside pocket great for easy access and deep enough to hold a wallet.gotta remember to zip it closed being vertical. The mesh pocket is narrow but snug enough to hold pen & paper and a few small items securely. The main storage area has easy access with strings wide open. The strings pull tight and open easily with a tug but stay closed securely during on-off activities.

Really like price, and the bag! Fits everything I need in it! Love that it has two pockets in front. One for water bottle and the other for my keys, phone, ear phones, and my weight gloves.

High Sierra AT658 26 -Inch Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps

High Sierra AT6 26' Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack StrapsMy old luggage of 25 years finally had to be replaced. I was looking for new luggage and asked several stewardesses what they would recommend. This is one brand they suggested. It has a divider inside. It can be carried like luggage or wheeled. In addition it can be carried as a backpack, because of the back straps. There is a larger size, but when the expansion is employed by unzipping, I would be right at the weight limit for air travel, which is why i wanted the 26" size. Cheaper luggage is available, but lacks the quality the numerous options for carrying.

This pack accompanied a 21 yr old female student to Florence for school. According to her, it was extremely functional and well-designed. She is about 5-4 and sturdily-built; she had no problem hoisting it fully-loaded and carrying it as a backpack. Believe me, it was FULLY loaded..within 1 lb or so of the 50-lb limit, on return trip.

No new damage was noticed upon return but it mostly served a apt storage unit between the plane trips. Wheels and straps were sturdy.

Buy High Sierra AT658 26 -Inch Expandable Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps Now

Preface: I purchased 3 bags. This one, the 22-inch (smaller) version and the 32-inch (larger) version.

This bag in particular is too large to carry on, so I've checked it on a number of flights. I think you'd have to work pretty hard to go over 50 pounds worth of stuff in it, unless you like to travel with bricks or something. When I use it, its usually on midsize trips, 2-5 days or so, along with the carry-on 22 inch bag.

As far as the series AT-6 luggage in general, some reviewers have knocked it because its not a spinner type (4 independent wheels), and I'm not sure why, its pretty obvious its not. If that's what you're looking for, all I can tell you is that this luggage isn't what you're looking for.

All roll aboard luggage with the retractable handle like this takes up space inside and this bag is also no exception. There is a thin piece of material between the compartment and the telescope path which is flexible, so you could probably cram a few extra pairs of socks in if you plan ahead.

I have taken these bags on numerous trips since purchase and they're holding up very well, checked and as carry-on. I've not had any broken contents (knock on wood) in any case, nor have any parts or straps been torn or broken (knock on wood).

The built-in ID card holder is a really nice feature, protected from the elements and is attached by a piece of elastic so it can't simply fall out and be lost (spreading your personal information all over the airport). I don't use the backpack straps much, but on the smaller bag, they're comfortable. I find the this and the larger one too heavy to wear like that comfortably.

The only way I could suggest High Sierra make this series better (again, I'm not letting it detract from my rating because it is clear it doesn't have this feature) is to add a "daisy-chain" strap for easier towing of more than one piece. This problem is easily corrected with a simple, economical product: Travelon Multi-Bag Stacker

I have the larger version of this bag and liked it so much, but you can easily over-pack and end up paying more money at the airport check in. My wife and I were going on a trip to the UK and they have even more strict weight regulations, so we bought this model (the 26 inch size) and were very happy. We didn't get charged any over-weight fees and we packed these bags up tight. I also like the wheels and the backpack which in the UK helps a lot because they aren't as efficient (i.e. lazy, haha)as us Americans and have more stairs.

I traveled for several weeks in Asia with this bag, staying in several hotels, traveling by plane/bus/taxi, etc. The bag served me well. But, it is strangely shaped, and pretty heavy (I believe it is almost 10 pounds). The weight meant that I was frequently flirting with airline limits on small planes. And, while I bought it because I liked the shoulder/backpack straps, between the weight, the shape/balance, and the way the straps are designed, there is no way that I could ever have "worn" this thing (and, yes, I can backpack with a 50 pound pack...if it is a *real* backpack).

Which brings up the shape: The bulge at the top means that when you are standing it, a lot of the weight is hanging out beyond the bottom support...so the bag was *VERY* tippy...it rarely would stand stabily. And, as mentioned above, a lot of the weight is pretty far back from the backpack straps...which is about the last thing you want in a backpack.

All in all, this is a well made bag, with good features...but would serve much better on a car trip than on public transportation.

16.5" Signature Fanny Pack

16.5' Signature Fanny PackThe Style is #044XLD; I assume the X implies extra, the L implies large and the D implies Deep...in short both extra large and extra deep. It is huge.

If you measure the back of this pack from the (back) zipper to the bottom of the pack it is 8 inches.

It is well made, has huge compartments, provides a plastic boat (quick release) clip with a stainless steel ring for keys.

The strap is 1-1/4" wide. Unlike some straps, the termination at the belt buckle has the end sewn-hemmed, preventing a loose strap from slipping through the tension buckle and becoming separated.

The tension buckle used for adjusting strap length appears to be excellent at restricting movement.

The zippers are solid metal with 1-3/4" long tabs. There are three zippers on the top as shown; two in front and one at the back. When the top is flattened (similar to pack being filled completely) it is 5" at the widest point. As advertised, it is 16.5" from the edge of the straps (where sewn in) to the pack portion.

Based on a phone call to Everest, all of their Adult fanny packs have maximum strap length of 42". Thus, I like their length for shoulder carry, vice waist use.

THIS TRAVEL PACK IS USED ON THE STEERING ASSEMBLY OF MY HANDICAPPED SCOOTER. SINCE THERE IS NO FRONT BASKET, MY WALLET, CHANGE, POCKET KNIFE, ETC ARE SECURELY AND CONVIENTLY AVAILABLE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF LOSS. I USED MY PREVIOUS PACK UNTIL IT WORE OUT. I HAD POOR LUCK FINDING A REPLACEMENT UNTIL I SAW THIS REPLACEMENT.

Osprey Sirrus 24-Litre Backpack

Osprey Sirrus 24-Litre BackpackWas looking for a proper day-hiking pack, and the Osprey Sirrus 24 fit the bill. My first "real" backpack after suffering too much shoulder pain with a Walmart special for a year (started hiking July 2010), I bought this site unseen based on reviews and videos from all the major trekking websites. Amazon had the cheapest price by a couple bucks so I ordered here. I chose the Medium size for my 5'6" tall, short waisted torso. It fits very well although I keep wanting to shift it up higher to clear my lower back. But the abundant adjustment straps have really helped to give me a near-perfect, comfortable custom fit. Maybe a small would have been better? Definitely follow the measuring guides and get someone to measure you. Go here:I like that this pack is made specifically for a woman. The shoulder pain is gone!!!

The front straps have three zipper compartments, two on the lower belt and one on the shoulder strap at chest height. The chest compartment just fits my Razor cell phone perfectly. If you have anything larger, like an IPhone, forget fitting it in there! In the two lower belt compartments I keep my Nikon Coolpix, tissues, trekking pole tips and lip balm. Wish they were larger as I feel like I'm going to loose things when fishing for something inside them. I have to fight with them to get the camera in and out which is a problem if I want to take a quick pic. Again, a glove-tight fit. They are located at the pelvic side front which is somewhat hard to reach. I would have liked to be able to adjust them to be more toward the front, but Osprey must have designed them this way to keep them out of the way when bending the legs up a steep incline, which is good. The Zipper pulls are ring-shaped and easily grasped. Having the belt compartments zipping closed from front to back (rather than from back to front) would have been more to my liking, as the plastic rings stick out and rub on my arms when hiking sleeveless in the summer. Go twelve miles with this and you have a red welt.

There are three back compartments which vary in size from large to small. The large fully unzipper-able compartment is perfect size for a first aid kit, headlamp, notebook, extra clothes and jacket, everything you need for a fun day, but is not be adequate for overnighters. I like that I can cinch down the load with the attached clasp tabs. In the medium size compartment, I put snacks, sunscreen and insect repellant. It's good for quick access supplies. It has a small license-sized mesh pocket. The small fixed compartment on top is not as easy to access with the pack on, as they advertise. It takes a little acrobatics to get to. But, it has a sewn-in bright orange key hook which is great. This pack needs more pockets inside the compartments!! I scavenged one off my old pack and sewed it into the large compartment, where small things seem to sink down and get lost, never to be found again. The side mesh pockets are good, easy access to water bottles, maps, gloves, etc. but too small for all the sundries I want at my fingertips. The trekking pole holder was one major reason I bought this pack. The how-to video shows a quick, easy process of stowing the poles, but it is not so easy reaching back with poles in hand to get them through the lower elastic cord, then through the front cord, hold the poles, press the toggle release button and pull the cord to tighten it around them. If I had three hands it would be no problem. Also, if you are sleeveless, the whole thing rubs against the tender upper arm area. I have to wrap a bandana around the top of my poles on summer treks to cover them and the protruding cord end. It's still great to put them away and have the hands free though.

One other big reason for purchasing this pack is the stow-away rain cover which I have used more than once so far -no worries about stuff getting wet. The cover is red, good for visibility on a dark day during hunting season. There is also a handy ice pick clasp at the back. You can retrofit it with a camelback too. The 3D tensioned mesh back panel really adds ventilation and comfort, but sheds off some of the surface of my fleece over-jacket.

The colors are beautiful and the look of this pack is so cool. Overall, I love it and would highly recommend it for any day hiker, nubie or veteran.

This is a great backpack for hiking, and decent for city use too. I love the mesh back (no more sweaty back that makes you suddenly chilly when you take a break) and the frame is really amazing. With my old backpack, the same load felt about twice as heavy. The pack (in particular the waist strap) is really well-fitted to the female body. I've 5'4" and small build but I got the medium size because I'll be wearing heavy winter coats for a lot of the year. It cinched down to fit fine for summer hiking in only a tank top, but will definitely be big enough once it's puffy coat season too. A key for day-to-day use, my 17" laptop fits inside (even in a very hefty foam case) without straining the seams. The side mesh pockets are really great with their additional compression straps, although too narrow for a big nalgene which some might find unfortunate. Great for the aluminum type water bottles though. The only major problem is that the pockets are not very well suited for work/school use. For example, the bottom front pocket opens from the bottom of the pack. This is a handy pocket made much less easy to access because of this. This isn't super annoying if you're using the pack for hiking since I usually just toss the pack on its back when I'm getting things out, but in a work or especially in a school setting you're likely to be propping the pack up on its bottom and accessing it from the top, which makes this pocket impossible to get to. I also find the compression straps on the top to be a bit gratuitous. I never end up actually hooking them. But despite this I love the pack, and I think it's a good pack if you need something that works for both going to work/school, and going hiking on the weekends. I would purchase it again.

Buy Osprey Sirrus 24-Litre Backpack Now

I love this pack. The hip pockets fit my camera and my GPS perfectly so that they are easily accessible without removing the pack, while the chest pocket fits my cell phone (an admittedly old LG Banter) snugly. Be sure to try this pack on somewhere before you buy it to ensure that you're getting the right size. When you get the right one, this pack fits like a dream. Hiking, I feel like I'm carrying nothing. The hip and chest belts distribute the weight so well that the pack and everything in it feel like they're part of me. It moves with me as I turn and scramble, and keeps my back from getting that big sweat spot that you get with normal packs.

It can be a bit of a struggle to get a full 3 liter reservoir in the designated pocket. It takes a bit of finagling because of the structure of the frame holding the middle of the pack off your back. I imagine a smaller reservoir would be easier, but I haven't tried it. Once the reservoir is in the pack, though, it easily stays in place and is easily removed later.

I also haven't tried out the grab and go pole system, as I don't generally hike with poles, so unfortunately I can't comment on that. I actually like to keep the end of my water tube in the front loop.

Overall, I don't think I would change anything on this pack. It's comfortable, versatile, and functional. Plus, the purple is gorgeous. I could live in this pack.

I'm using this as a school backpack. It's great for heavy premed textbooks and the weight is evenly distributed, which is a huge plus since i walk a lot and commute by bike. Mesh backing is great for keeping my back sweat-free. It's a little on the small side but manageable if you pack smart. Side pocketsare great for oatmeal/lunch sack and a water bottle. Rain fly comes in handy when it's drizzling outside.

Ohmetric 30076 Notebook Shoulder Case with Removable Workstation and Organizer

Ohmetric 30076 Notebook Shoulder Case with Removable Workstation and OrganizerI have been using this bag daily for over a month now, and I have been very impressed with the thought that went into its design. Although aesthetically, there is nothing really notable about it, the quality and design of the bag are really exceptional. The interior is lined with bright green and grey nylon fabric, which makes pocket interiors very easy to see. The handle feels sturdier than any other bag I've ever owned, and is very comfortable to grip. The shoulder padding is fixed on the strap, and the strap length is adjustable from either side which allows you to place the strap exactly where you want it. The front clasp is also adjustable to make more room in the front pocket. A large pocket right behind the front flap is closed using only a stitched in magnet, which makes it perfect for keeping papers or a book for easy access. All interior and exterior lining is padded. Every seam and zipper feels very solid, and after a month or so of daily use, the bag looks and feels exactly as it did the day I bought it. I have flown with the bag too, and I can attest to Ohmetric's claim that it is great for getting through security.

There are only two negatives I've come across so far. The first is that in the main section there is a removable "organizer" with three pockets. The organizer is great, and fits all the computer stuff I need fine, but it faces inword, and so with the pockets full it can be a bit of a hassle sliding books in next to it. In order to fix this, I just put the organizer behind the document pocket instead of on the velcro, and that completely resolved the issue.

The second issue is that the metal clasps tend to squeak a bit when walking with a full bag. Some WD40 quieted things a bit, but not completely. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the bag, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good laptop work bag.

PROS:

* Great build quality

* Excellent design features

* Very lightweight

CONS:

* Not much to look at it

* Strap tends to squeak a bit

Purchased this to take my laptop, books, cables, papers, etc. on trips. It is just the right size to carry what I need not too small to carry a lot and not too big to be easy to handle. I do not use the organizer or workstation, but I can see how it would be useful to some. I also like the single handle (rather than 2) at the top much easier to grab and go. Lots of pockets and places to store things.

I am a woman who travels frequently for business. I have been looking for the perfect briefcase for my laptop. This is it. It slides on the handle of my rolling carryon suitcase. It has a nice area for a laptop (actually, I'm now using a netbook for travel). There is a side for files, a side for the powerstrips, mouse, recharger for cell phone, and that is stuck in with velcro so it is removable. There is even a secret zippered compartment. I love the green lining that makes the stuff that sifts to the bottom easy to find. It is very thoughtfully designed. I love it. So few things you buy are better than you expected. This is not just better -it is BEST!

(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM)The Ohmetric 3-in-1 Notebook Shoulder Case with Removable Workstation and Organizer disappointed me. For basic users, the positives may make this case good enough. But for frequent business travelers or commuters, the flaws are hard to ignore. Given the high MSRP & the large number of better cases out there, I see no reason to purchase this case unless it's at a steep discount. Even then, you might want to consider alternatives.

PROS:

++ Adequately sized for your laptop (up to 15.4 inch), accessories & documents

++ Decent quality exterior fabric that appears to be polyester or nylon, though it's not specified

++ The shoulder strap has an extra thick cushion for comfort

++ Rear flap allows you to secure the bag to your carry-on luggage handle

++ Buckles and strap loops are made from a sturdy metal, superior to the typical plastic

++ Light colored interiors (grey & green) make finding your things easier

++ Extra cushion provides protection to the laptop compartment

++ Nice extras, like a zippered document case and a magnetic clasp for the front pouch

++ Velcro straps to secure the mobile organizer

++ Rubber coated metal zipper pulls are sturdy

CONS:

-The mobile organizer and the hard-shell platform seem cheap and will likely be throw-away accessories for many

-Only has one handle! Consider the Ohmetric Notebook Briefcase with Removable Workstation and Organizer if you want two handles and like the set's features, but be warned that set is twice as much

-The bag tips over; rounded feet are poorly placed and are an unstable base for standing the bag up

-Front accessories pouch is too tight to squeeze things into and use efficiently

-There are no side pouches or zippered pockets; this standard feature is sorely missed on this bag

-Document pouch is too loose to hold documents, but too shallow to squeeze binders into

-No internal key rings or latches in the bag or mobile organizer

-No headphone port or MP3 player pouch, which almost all new bags include

-Despite being advertised as "checkpoint friendly," this case and it's accessories are designed so that TSA will still require you to remove your laptop for screening

-The listed MSRP is absurd given the overall cheap feel of the organizer & platform

CONCLUSION

This bag is functional and it does have some positives. But the cheap feel and gimmicky accessories are not consistent with the bag's high MSRP. Some design elements could have been improved to make this bag more functional for business travelers & commuters. You have to really study the product picture to realize this bag only has one handle. It seems to be sewn into the body well, but I'm still concerned it won't be durable enough for the harsh commuting & travelling I have to do.

In light of the many reservations I have about this bag, I would recommend that you review the alternatives. Some, like the Targus Checkpoint-Friendly Air Traveler Backpack actually provide the travel friendliness that this bag advertises. And if you need a shoulder bag, others like the Targus Metro Roller give you more storage and the added benefit of a luggage handle and wheels. Even more basic options like the Belkin 15.4-Inch Messenger Bag are worth considering. For the record, I own all of those bags and many others. The Ohmetric will not likely get much use on my future business trips. The platform & mobile organizer looked great in the product picture, but in person they look cheap & of limited use.

Happy shopping.

eBags Mother Lode TLS Junior 25" Wheeled Duffel

eBags Mother Lode TLS Junior 25' Wheeled DuffelThe bag performed well easy to pack with a lot of room but not too heavy! A very well thought out bag lots of features and built to last. This bag is for someone who appreciates a piece of luggage that performs "As Advertised"! I should know I was in the luggage business for 25 years! Dave Kern

I posted the following review on July 5, 2010, but the link on Amazon is now dead for some reason.

This is luggage that was clearly dreamed up by someone who travels. It features a smartly-designed double interior compartment which can be converted to a single compartment, if desired. In the bottom compartment, there's a movable shelf system, so that when your bag is upright, everything doesn't all get squooshed to the bottom. And because of the way it is constructed, the bag doesn't tip over when it's full. One nice added touch is the orange interior, a seemingly inconsequential detail, but it makes finding small/dark items a bit easier. Other features include:

* three zippered mesh pockets inside the bag (one in the upper compartment and two in the lower)

* three exterior pockets

* an expansion zipper which increases capacity by 1.5"

* four exterior compression straps to ensure the bag stays securely closed

* a built-in ID pocket

* a hide-away add-a-bag strap

* interior straps to secure items

* two handles at each end of the bag (in addition to the telescoping handle) for easy grabbing out of your trunk or off the baggage carousel

Overall, this is a tough, well-made, and thoughtfully-designed bag which comes with a lifetime warranty. All my luggage is now eBags only.

It holds a lot and balances and carries well, and has the right amount if well-placed pockets. I like the hard back that protects it going up and down stairs, etc. It also has a video from ebags that was very convincing. the price I got from Amazon was cheaper than from ebags!

one trip out and the upper canvas lock broke. I am very disappointed in the bag and thought I was really getting a unique bag when I purchased this. I am a very frequent traveler.

SwissGear SA1591 Silver Grey and Dark Gray Laptop Bag fits up to 15.6" Laptops

SwissGear SA1591 Silver Grey and Dark Gray Laptop Bag fits up to 15.6' LaptopsI bought this backback when my other college backpack broke. I was looking for something that could fit my heavy science textbooks in with my laptop, without damaging the backpack, the contents, or both. This backpack does the trick!

I'll start with the one negative thing I have to say. The side pockets have a drawstring to help secure the content, but the strap on one of the drawstrings has already broken. It's not that much of a problem for me, as I can simply store my waterbottle on the other side, but the strap probably should have been sturdier.

That said, it is the most spacious backpack I have ever owned for school, allowing me to fit the equivalent volume of three textbooks and my 17" laptop without the threat of breaking the zipper and without impacting the space in the three smaller pockets. The design of the straps also seems to reduce the pressure on what is usually the weakest part of the strap, the part that is sewn to the top of the backpack, so I expect the straps to last a long time. Finally, it's comfortable to wear. There is a lot of padding on the back of the backpack, as well as a small padded pouch that fits into the small of my back. Its design is well thought-out and the construction is, in almost all cases, top-of-the-line.

This backpack is well constructed and quite roomy. It fits my laptop just fine with plenty of space for accessories. It has made a big difference already in my ability to pack up quickly, relocate, and have everything I need at my fingertips. It has also relieved some of the back/shoulder strain my traditional laptop bag was causing.

I am quite satisfied with this backpack. There is ample room in the padded pocket for my 15.6" laptop. And the front pocket is roomy -plenty of room for books, files, etc. The only thing really missing is a practical dedicated pocket for the AC cord/adapter. Other than that, this is a good product, exactly what I was looking for in a laptop backpack.

This backpack has been fantastic with a few exceptions.

1.) The Airflow on the back leaves much desired.

Airflow was a new thing for me, so I was eager to test it out. I was looking forward to feeling a slight breeze whilst walking briskly to class, but not so much. A brisk walk wasn't enough for said airflow so I stepped up my game to an Olympic Power Walk style (google it! great stuff!). Still, no drafty breeze flowing through the "airflow" cavities. Left feeling rather lugubrious, I gave the backpack one more chance to deliver on the "ariflow." I though a sprint would surely create a slight breeze...yeah, no. Instead, all I got was a shoulder rash from attempting to "feel the breeze." The rash went away quickly and has not come back, in part due to no longer attempting to achieve MAXIMUM AIRFLOW.

Question is if I had a Three Wolf Moon Shirt, would airflow be present? Challenge accepted!

2.) Them stretchy tightener thingys for the drink pockets broke with ease. First, my dog chewed up the one side and I tried to fit a 2 liter in the other side. No dice. They do fit a Nalagene bottle quite well though. You can also hide snacks in there for easy access if using one of the many pockets is too much work. Beware when trying to use them stretchy tightener thingys though, use gently or they will break.

Overall, I am very pleased with this piece of modern engineering. The craftsmanship is very nice. It holds the 30lb load shared between textbooks, laptop and all the other gadgets I dont really need, but must have on board with ease. Its comfortable too!

4 outa 5 stars for me.

We purchased the bag because of the strength of material and construction. My husband is pretty rough with his backpacks (he seems to kill the zippers in all of them!!). He uses this bag daily and he is happy with it. And incredibly, I'm happy to report that all zippers and still working perfectly. One of the straps broke early on but other than that, great bag.

15 15.6 inch Flower Leaves Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case with Hidden Handle & Adjustable S

15 15.6 inch Flower Leaves Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case with Hidden Handle & Adjustable Shoulder Strap for 14' 15' 15.6' Apple Macbook, Acer, Asus, Dell, Hp, Sony, Toshiba, and MoreI ordered this laptop sleeve right after i purchased my laptop. I wasnt sure how it would look because a lot of items you see on online rarely EVER look the same when you get them. This product was exactly as it was shown and it's soo cute! It's padded so it will protect my laptop well. And i love the fact that that handles can be hidden inside if I don't want to use them. Great product!!

I was expecting to be thicker then what I got. To me to be able to protect the laptop should be a little more thicker plus the strap is too thin

I'm not to happy with the color. Online the flowers look pink and in person it more red. The blue isn't as vibrant in person than it is online. The white is like off white, as well. I think I'm going to send it back.

My daughter loved this Hawaii style carrying case for her laptop. However, it was somewhat disappointing for us both to discover that there was not enough room for her to place the charger and plug to her laptop inside the bag. Maybe a pocket can be added for an additional fee. We also order the matching skin, great combo!

If you're looking for a case for your laptop look elsewhere, this case is very cheaply made. One of the handles completely ripped away from the case on the first use. My daughter was walking through an airport the first time she used this for her laptop and one of the carrying handles ripped completely away from the case, only leaving one handle left, she had to carry the case underneath her arm for the rest of the trip! Do not trust this case to carry your laptop in, it will fall and hit the ground when the carrying handles break! Its luck my daughter noticed that one of the handles gave way before the other handle ripped from the case. This should only be use for a sleeve and nothing else.

Jeep 3 In 1 Backpack Harness

Jeep 3 In 1 Backpack HarnessBought this because my 16 months old boy loves his walking independence; he doesn't want to hold hands or walk with someone. The bag is big enough to hold essentials, few diapers, wipes, cup, snack, change of clothes, small toy. It fits well on him and the straps adjust so it will work well for a few years. The harness is great to help keep the straps on his shoulders. We tried it out in the house to see how he would do, he was confused when he couldn't keep walking and took the wrist strap from me to check it out. Haven't tried it out in a public place yet.

Dakine 20-Litre Factor Pack

Dakine 20-Litre Factor PackPlenty of room. The pockets are designed for good organizations. I like that it has a space for 2 water bottles. And even though I thought the sunglasses pocket was lame, I find myself using it often.

I'm in love with this backpack. I ordered the spectrum and I love the green color. It has a pocket for everything I carry. Maybe other people need more or less pockets but for my daily use it's fine. The padded straps are super comfortable after breaking them in. The bag itself is a little bit taller than expected but that's ok. I agree with other reviewers, about the zippers being loud. I would've liked the older model which has a mesh zipper pocket in the front pocket, but this model serves its purpose. Also, the material does feel very sturdy and lasting, like it wouldn't break easily. I recommend this bag to anyone.

im a small chick, so i figured this would be a great buy but it's smaller than i thought it was going to be (even knowing the measurements). I recommend this as a buy for a middle school child or younger, but it's not really big enough for someone in college. It still does what i need it to do though so i guess i cant complain too much...

Bought this as a present for a teenage nephew he wanted a backpack to take on hikes/daytrips which this size is perfect for. The organising compartments are great too, letting him separate his stuff and there is waterbottle compartment on the outside.

i'm a bit of a backpack snob... i like compact bags in the 18L-22L range. and i have generally stayed with patagonia. but i finally ventured to dakine factor, given that the price is/was so low. first off, there's no comparison between the quality if the patagonia bags like the beeline or yerba and this dakine factor bag. the dakine zipper is so cheap, it's only a matter of time before it breaks. the materials are so much better on the patagonia bags. but i must says that i love this dakine bag. i have a young daughter, and like all parents, i'm required to be a diligent servant. so i love the two side pockets and the back pocket. they're wonderful for quick access. the patagonia yerba is comparable, but it is much more. the smaller of the two compartments has a nice array of small pockets for things like cards, pens, etc. the large compartment's laptop sleeve fits my 15-inch macbook pro. and i like the felt-lined top pocket for things like loose change, knife, and sunglasses.

but really, deciding on this bag is all about whether you're wanting those quick-access pockets. i love them.

lastly, i like my backpacks to maintain their shape regardless of what's in them. it helps organization. this is a nice, stiff bag that sits up when you put it down.

This laptop sleeve keeps my macbook pro secure and as an added bonus, it's roomy enough to carry the charger back & forth from work. In the past, the sleeves I've gotten for other devices are too snug and you have to fight with them to fit the device by itself. This one isn't overly spacious, but the material has some give.

Shugon Hi-Vis Rucksack / Backpack - 23 Liters

Shugon Hi-Vis Rucksack / Backpack - 23 Litersperfect for a Hi-Vis daily commute. It's very light empty and expandable. the orange is a perfect match with my Harley Hi-Vis vest.

I would get this for anyone who wants to carry stuff daily and be seen by other motorist. only one improvement needed, a sternum strap would be nice, I took one off and old bag and it keeps the bag very stable in wind and on corners.

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Pack-It Cube Organizer

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Pack-It Cube Organizer,BlackThis is a great product. the cube will hold 6 t-shirts perfectly, the 1/2 cube will hold 6 pairs of socks, or 6 pair of undershorts. If your staying in a hotel it's to easy to transfer the cube into a chest of drawers, and makes re-packing a dream.

With the see through tops, you never have to worry about strangers pawing through your clothes at the airport again.

I travel wekly on business and won't leave home without them.

These Eagle Creek Pack-it cubes still seem to be of pretty good quality, but the zipper and material used in the bags are not as good as what Eagle Creek used several years ago when I purchased several other of these cubes.
