This is a good bag and has it plenty of room to spare. My only compalint is a minor one, I wish the materials the bag is made out of was stronger. I feel that in time, it may tear. That hasn't happened yet and the bag allows me to carry a lot of gear when I go to play in public. I can put in the lights, tripod or other light weight items in it. Overall this is a good bag. I hope the manufacturers makes the same model as this using a stronger material.

It's tough, the main strap carried a 50lb load with no issues. It turns into a backpack when needed. I would buy again.

School College Rolling Backpack on Wheels- Black

I bought this bag because wanted something slightly smaller for either just a one night away or be my second bag with wheels. I needed something easier to get into the overheard on flights. I haven't had an oppotunity to travel with it yet but the height that the handle lifts to is good and I'm a tall person. It seems like it's exactly what I'm looking for but I can't tell you how it performs yet or how the wheels last on it. May 2013 update. Took my first overnight with it. It did just fine through 4 airports and was much lighter to pick up and place in the overhead. It still didn't fit well in one overhead (small plane) so I had to check it just once at the gate. The handle is a very good length for me. It doesn't lock and goes down into the bag without any struggle.

Maxpedition Jumbo L.E.O. Versipack

I purchased this bag because I finished school but still needed something just to carry my laptop and other small items along with the Smith&Wesson. I chose the LEO over the EDC version only because I didn't really care for a water bottle holder. In this bag, I am fitting my MSI Wind, chargers with other notebook accessories, tissue, small medicine bottle, S&W M&P + spare mags, voice recorder, spare pocket knife, and using Grimlocs to attach keys and other items. It carries comfortably on the strong side. I don't regret buying this bag.

This is a 5-star product don't get me wrong. If I didn't already have the Fatboy version of this bag, I would probably love the Jumbo. But, in my opinion, and for my needs, the Fatboy rules.

I picked up the Jumbo LEO because I wanted a little bit more room than the Fatboy and also didn't need the water bottle slot of the regular Jumbo. The Fatboy is not a big bag and that's the main reason I picked up the Jumbo I had to know if it was worth it.

The Jumbo material is Maxpedition's lighter version not the crazy, stiff rugged material used in the Fatboy. So, while lighter, it's still more rugged than any other bag I own except the Fatboy. So, I'm spoiled and I now I prefer the thicker material.

I also prefer the following on the Fatboy if this helps you with your decision:

Drawstring closure. At first it annoyed me on the Fatboy, then I see what it's like without it on the Jumbo. I'd rather have it for keeping my stuff in and other stuff like sand, liquid, etc out.

Better organization all around really: maybe it's just that the stiffer material makes the organization slots more reliable;

Pen holders on the strap are simple but fantastic; and, not on the Jumbo.

Strap mini pocket holds a flashlight or multi tool better you don't feel like it would ever fall out of the Fatboy.

Back pocket is big enough for mobile or water bottle although not designed for either necessarily but it works.

Much more streamlined feel when you're wearing it that's most likely because it's a little smaller but also because the material is much stiffer.

So, they're both 5-star, excellent products and you can't go wrong. But, for my needs, I ended up passing on the Jumbo and opting for the smaller bag. As a side note, the Fatboy is absolutely the smallest I could imagine putting up with. If it were any smaller, I'd pass on it just big enough.

Got it in black to help hide the zippered compartments. It has a few mods from the regular jumbo bag. The bag is more suited for LEO and those who carry. The only gripes about the changes are the absence of the collar in the main compartment,contents can slip out the top as the cover leaves a gaping hole. I have a remedy for this using four snaps and a stuff bag which snaps into the main opening and is held in place by the four snaps. Then use the installed stuff sack as usual, this would give me that option of removing the stuff bag when security is not needed. Gave it four stars because of this.. other then that the waist belt is there in place of belt loops. Still a great bag that is versatile and easy to carry.. Update: I found a mesh bag with draw string closure that looked made to order. I fastened it with a brass screw post and washer to the drain hole in the bag. Works great and inner mesh bag can be deployed as needed..

I watched a lot of reviews of this product on youtube. Most of the videos were focused upon the regular Versipack. I purchased the LEO because it fits my needs much better. The construction of the bag is outstanding. The product is made of a good nylon. Most stitching is consistent and double stitched in places. Buckles are solid and will last for a long time. There is molle webbing on the back part of the sling and padding to the body side of the bag. The pockets are deep and are versatile for many different products that you may want to carry. The top pocket will hold a regular pair of glasses in a hard case perfectly. The magazines from my 1911 fit perfectly in the magazine straps in the front internal pocket. 16.5" Signature Fanny Pack

The Style is #044XLD; I assume the X implies extra, the L implies large and the D implies Deep...in short both extra large and extra deep. It is huge.

If you measure the back of this pack from the (back) zipper to the bottom of the pack it is 8 inches.

It is well made, has huge compartments, provides a plastic boat (quick release) clip with a stainless steel ring for keys.

The strap is 1-1/4" wide. Unlike some straps, the termination at the belt buckle has the end sewn-hemmed, preventing a loose strap from slipping through the tension buckle and becoming separated.

The tension buckle used for adjusting strap length appears to be excellent at restricting movement.

The zippers are solid metal with 1-3/4" long tabs. There are three zippers on the top as shown; two in front and one at the back. When the top is flattened (similar to pack being filled completely) it is 5" at the widest point. As advertised, it is 16.5" from the edge of the straps (where sewn in) to the pack portion.

Based on a phone call to Everest, all of their Adult fanny packs have maximum strap length of 42". Thus, I like their length for shoulder carry, vice waist use.

Gregory Denali Pro 105 Mountaineering Pack

As a retired professional guide, I find this pack to be ruggedly constructed and designed for comfort. The zippers, seams, loops, fabric, all the essential materials, are designed to function well and take abuse without failing. The zippers flow easily and do not jam. The pack is designed for versatility with access from numerous locations. The top telescopes to a considerable height to accommodate increased volume. Smaller loads are easily cinched down by compression straps. The downside to all this is the seemingly endless number of straps hanging everywhere, resembling Medusa's head. I miss the big side pockets that used to be almost standard on all backpacks. Fortunately, one Osprey Crampon Pocket straps perfectly to each side of this pack, with the pair adding an extra 400 cubic inches of volume. The yoke system of this pack is superb. Weight is distributed to the top of the sacrum and the hip points by the well designed and very large padding in the waist system. Some believe the weight of the pack to be a disadvantage. This pack plus the Osprey pockets come in at around 9 pounds. I have put 40 pounds of gear into this pack for a 49 lb. total. I have put the same 40 pounds in a 5 lb pack (45 lb. total) and into a 4 lb. pack (44 lb. total) and the 49 lb. total of this pack is immensely more comfortable and easy to carry than the others. I am now close to 60 y.o. and the most I have put in this pack is about 70 lb. In my 20s, I carried as much as 120 lb in my old Synergy Works pack and I can tell that this pack would easily carry that much and in far more comfort. There are other great load haulers such as McHale and Mystery Ranch, but the M.R. weighs even more and both are extremely more expensive than the Denali Pro. For serious backpackers and Sherpa duties on up to medium rated rated world class mountaineering expeditions, this pack is as good as it gets.

As the previous reviewer did a very fine job of explaining many of the features of this FIVE STAR pack, I prefer to instead focus my review on the importance of sizing this pack correctly, which in my opinion, is absolutely crucial to your happiness. The pack itself comes in three sizes, the belt also comes in three sizes, and the adjust-a-cant system can be set at three different hip angles. While there are of course other fine adjustments to be made, these three main adjustments are the most crucial for a proper and comfortable fit.

First, the pack comes in small torsos 16 to 18 inches, medium torsos 18 to 20 inches, and large torsos 20 to 22 inches. These sizes relate to different overall pack storage amounts of 100, 106, and 115 liters. This is definitely not a case of you getting to choose your desired storage capacity. It is about correct torso sizing only. You must have your torso properly measured, either by a local backpacking professional, or by using the guidelines listed at numerous websites. An incorrect torso size, either too big or too small, will cause the pack to sit uncomfortably on your back and could also cause excess swing (movement up and down) and sway (movement side to side.) Both will cause at the least, discomfort, and at the worst, suffering when carrying heavy loads. In addition you will be wasting a fair amount of your energy. You absolutely must get your torso size correct!

Second, the hip belt comes in small, medium, and large. When you wrap the belt around your waist the padded portion should come to no closer than 4 inches from your belly button, 5 inches would be even better. (Hopefully, the dealer you go to will have more than one belt size for you to try.) If you don't have the proper distance from pads' end to navel, the pack's weight will not properly distribute around your hips and again, you will suffer. One size may not fit you for any length of time so you must be prepared to switch out the belt if you gain or loose weight. Personally, I have gone from a large to a medium, and am now going to switch to a small. Even if your dealer doesn't have your belt size, or you buy online here at Amazon.com, so you can't test different belt sizes, this is not a major issue, as you can order a new belt set directly from Gregory/Black Diamond Customer Service in Salt Lake City.

Third, the adjust-a-cant waist harness can be set at three different angles depending on the slope of your hips. In general, men will set it to the least or medium slope and women will set it to the medium or greatest slope. Try the cant at more than one angle so that you can get a better idea of which slope angle works best for your hips' slope.

It is true that the pack is loaded with straps everywhere. However, each set of straps serves a very different purpose and it should take no time at all to understand each strap's function. I use and appreciate every strap.

A nice feature of this pack is its removable top, which converts into a very roomy lumber day pack. It has its own belt with its own belt clasp set, or if you don't want to carry two clasp sets, you can remove the belt clasps from the pack itself and use them with the lumber pack. I usually carry a Marmot shoulder strap with me to provide extra stability and security when I use the lumbar pack by itself.

I don't know if it is still the case, since Gregory sold-out to Black Diamond, but in the past, the Denali Pro was the only major product in the Gregory line made in the United States. The quality of American workmanship (versus Asian workmanship, which is where all of their other packs are manufactured, the Philipines I think.) shows remarkably and this is another great plus with this pack. It is tough as nails!

After all of these years, this pack is still the be-all-end-all of expedition packs, a veritable tank. As the previous reviewer has very well pointed out, don't be put-off by the pack's seemingly high empty weight. There are darn good reasons why this pack is on the heavy side when empty. It is due to its outstanding quality, durability, features, and last but not least, its unrivalled ability to carry heavy loads comfortably.

This pack is somewhat expensive, but as far as I am concerned, it is worth its weight in gold. In fact, I consider the Gregory Denali Pro to be the gold standard in expedition backpacks.

There are THREE critical things in backpacking :

any one of these is not right, you simply will not be right, no matter how well everything else goes.

picking a backpack is first & foremost dependent upon your style ... if you are a trail burner, who joyously mocks others on the trail with comments such as "the lighter go farther!" then this definitely is NOT the pack for you. i'm not making a case for endurance packing or ultra-lightweight backpacking, because i enjoy both, having learned each style provides their own unique rewards.

back to real backpacking ... i'm talking about stuffing 2 weeks worth of supplies into your backpack, including shelter, clothing, cooking, food stored in bear canister, tools, rope, gloves, compass, water bottles/bladder, toiletries, water shoes ... i mean it ALL fits inside this bad boy !!!

the top portion of the pack detaches and functions as a day pack ... this is great, because it allows for day-long excursions from base camp, without having to bring your whole pack. i now dedicate that portion of the pack to my "survival gear", when i want to make a day trip i just disconnect that piece, grab some water, and i'm on my way. when teaching the boy scouts wilderness survival, they are only allowed to bring their "survival pack" ... they are always amazed what is inside my survival pack, including a mini sleeping bag from S.O.L. ... lets put it this way, i'm comfy, they're learning, and the detachable pack is what i use that makes that possible ... great little feature, use it well ;)

any good pack should be adjustable, and this pack definitely shines in this department. depending on how you stow your gear, where the weight is distributed, whether your gear has already been compressed or not, these factors all dictate different adjustments you should make to ensure the load is properly distributed to your body. compression straps everywhere allow for cinching your load, keeping it from swaying side to side or bobbing up & down when walking. ANY movement at all is BAD ... its going to tire you quicker, and many times leads to painful and unnecessary chafing/rubbing spots on your hips, back, shoulders, or neck.

buy the right size pack, bigger is not better, its just a size that is made for big guys in this case ... buy the pack that is SIZED for your body !!!

my northface superlight down sleeing bag fits perfectly in the sleeping bag compartment, and is easily accessible. my raingear fits nicely in the pack and is also easily available in the event of a sudden rain storm. the secret i have found to use this pack most effectively is dividing my gear up functionally (cooking, hygiene, clothes, etc.) and to use separate ditty bags to store those in. that way, instead of a pile of stuff falling out when opening my pack, out pops about 5-6 neat little storage bags all color coded for easy identification. an extra little tip, i use waterproof ditty bags that have a bladder on them ... when i'm going where the pack may fall into water, i actually inflate the bags before putting them into the backpack, to help create buoyancy ... and when i know i need as much space as possible for really long trips, i suck the air out of the ditty bags through the bladder valve, which helps maximize compression and reduce space required.

the shoulder straps feel like a couch, and the belt does not feel like a strap cutting into your skin, which is good because this pack is capable of carrying a 100 pound load. i don't get there any more, a heavy load for me is 80 pounds, or 90 pounds if bringing the camera gear for special occasions & scenery. and that is another excelling point of this pack, it can expand and contract very efficiently, so at the beginning of a trip it may be completely telescoped, but as you travel deeper into your trip, it easily collapses to maintain a proper fit on your torso.

the fabric, stitching, straps, and buckles are all top notch ... if you don't throw this pack around, and keep it clean and free of mildew, it could very well last you the rest of your backpacking career. this is my second one, and the first one lasted over 10 years of very heavy use as a scoutmaster. as an aside, i do NOT recommend this for boy scouts, because its really more pack than they will need at this point in their life. get a smaller pack, more suited for 1 week and weekend outings ... they will KNOW if/when they need this pack, because they will have been bitten by the bug ;)

i don't have a bad thing to say about this pack, even the price is fair for what you are getting, especially when compared to other packs that are maybe 1-2 pounds lighter, but so much more flimsy. amazon had this pack on sale for $386 when i bought it ... which is LESS than what i paid for my first one 10 years ago !!!

don't buy this as your first backpack ... buy it as your LAST backpack ... it REALLY is that good, and thats coming from a user with well over 2,000 trail miles wearing one of these on his back, NEVER complaining about the pack (just those darn switchbacks ;)

EDIT 12.10.12 a camera tripod fits perfectly where skis are normally stored on the backpack.

The good: dual zippers, so the sleeve can be opened length-wise or width-wise, which is handy if you are using this in a top-loading backpack; there are liners on the inside of the zippers, so that they do not touch the laptop itself (no scratches, thank you); fits a Vostro 3500 perfectly.

The bad: no padding whatsoever. Sure it might be waterproof (haven't tested this fact), but it certainly isn't going to provide any kind of additional protection for your laptop.

Overall, I like the sleeve and would recommend it. I was previously using a Belkin sleeve with another laptop, and that had almost all the same features, plus it was much better padded. But it also cost twice as much.

besides the fact that i got this sleeve more than a month after i purchased it, there is no ULTRA PROTECTION, it turned out NOT to be that thick of a sleeve. the picture made think it might be too thick to even fit in my bag. it turned out to be just ok and it was pretty thin padding. its good if u need a waterproof sleeve. so i will say just stick with buying the costco sleeve its way thicker and only 10 bucks for 2 sleeves

Timbuk2 Option Laptop Backpack - Medium

I have used just about every messenger bag and backpack on the market, mainly when I was a bike messenger. These days I just want a small comfortable backpack for going to the library, or work, or other small trips. I do not need a gigantic delivery backpack such as Ortilieb, but I did need waterproof since I bring my SLR camera and iPad with me just about everywhere.

The straps fit very comfortably and are curved allowing the bag to swing to your front like a messenger bag when only using one strap. This is best to do on the right shoulder to get access to the many pockets/laptop area. I like how both straps are separate and do not have a collar connecting the such as the Baileyworks and Chrome backpacks, with those I always felt like I was wearing a life preserver.

So many pockets, holds everything I need daily like my lunch box, SLR camera, iPad, bluetooth keyboard, raincoat, glasses case, a book to read, and more. The main cargo pocket is small but sufficient, you can carry two 6 packs on top of each other. The side pockets are too small for a water bottle but hold my keys or cell phone or umbrella without losing its contents. I really like how all the pockets have zippers (except the two side ones) and its just a well made classic looking bag. A Bottle opener on the left shoulder strap is a nice touch as well. If you are looking for a waterproof version of a regular school backpack then this is your bag.

I purchased the backpack to use in lieu of a Timbuk2 messenger bag. My work commute now includes a 15 minute walk and I was looking for a backpack that would allow me to carry the weight of a computer and other items more evenly. After a couple of weeks of use, I am very happy with the purchase, both in terms of functionality as well as quality and fit. I can highly recommend the backpack!

Incredibly disappointed with my purchase of this bag. The bags square shape and narrow straps make the bag feel as if it is constantly slipping off your shoulders, I must adjust the straps at least 5 times a day. Having said that, I am a average size male (5' 9") commuting to work in a Midwestern city. I purchased this bag in the late fall and have been using it through the winter thus far and have found that if I wear anything thicker than a sweater the bag is incredibly uncomfortable. I have come to the conclusion that this bag may be more suitable for women or can only be worn in warmer weather. Forget about using this while wearing a coat. The build quality is nice, but the laptop padding is pretty nonexistent and the storage is minimal. Outside my laptop, I can typically carry my iPad, a large book, and some ancillary items. You know that small item you had shipped to work because it's convenient? Yeah, that's not going to fit in the bag on the commute home... so get used to carrying.

Several coworkers love this brand, which is why I gave it a shot. Sadly, I think I just chose the wrong model and now have a bad taste in my mouth. I'll keep it around for the summer when I need a small light carryon or travel bag for the day, but a practical work bag it is not. Bummer.

I purchased this bag after an extensive search to replace a much much-loved worn-out Kenneth Cole backpack that was discontinued. As I carry my work life with me each day in NYC on foot and subway, I am extremely fussy about my bag's functional and style features. As well, I am a small and not young woman, so fit and weight are very important. Never thought I'd find something I like as well as my former bag, but I love this one even more. As a former bike messenger, I have always been a Timbuk2 fan.

The Option looks good, fits beautifully snugly against my back, and has numerous great features. Watertight, all those compartments and pockets, even that cute Napoleon pocket for the Metrocard and small bills and change when my outfit has no pockets. Can fit a NY Times and my files in the main compartment, makeup and pens and other miscellaneous items in the smaller section, cellphone and sunglasses in the side pockets, etc. etc. And with the bottle opener on the strap I am always ready for a brewski.

I bought this backpack because I liked the design of it. All too often I used to worry about zippers unexpectedly opening and loosing items while commuting, bicycle riding, walking, etc. This backpack has a messenger bag / Japanese schoolbag (randoseru) feel to it and I don't worry about anything falling out (other than my water bottle).

*Three front zipper pockets hold and organize the little stuff. Under those is a "sneaky" side pocket that I can get to without opening the top flap.

*Inside is one, deep main pocket that typically holds: a few folders, a 1/2 inch binder, a calculator, usually three or four softcover textbooks, my makeup pouch, a few snacks or lunch, and a shirt or sweater folded on top.

*The side pockets that would normally hold a water bottle are not very useful, as a standard reusable water bottle will not fit easily. I use one for my hand sanitizer and coin purse (the pockets are deep and I haven't lost anything yet). The other for the occasional water bottle I pick up for a buck at the cafeteria.

*The laptop pocket is against your back and is lined with a red-bubbled-foam for cushion; there is no other cushion or support for your back other than this. I keep my Kindle Fire in this pocket and my electronic Japanese dictionary. They are both small, thin items and I feel they are safe in there. They rest on the bottom and I just barely feel them on my lower back.

*The material is easy to clean! I also take this bag to the beach, on bicycle rides, and for picnics. It stays clean on the outside and is easy to wipe clean on the inside.

I already knew Timbuk2 makes durable bags and I thought it was more sleek and professional looking for a backpack. I have used this bag everyday for school, work, etc. since I received it. I find it comfortable considering I have shoulder problems; the cut of the straps, along with the laptop padding, offer plenty of support. This backpack seems to be just what I was looking for to replace my previous bag.

I did not buy this bag because it was considered "laptop friendly." In fact, I would not suggest this bag for anyone with a laptop. I could not imagine having a laptop in that pocket and wearing this bag; it would be too uncomfortable on your shoulders and back to carry.

Samsonite Luggage Stratford Backpack

Feels durable. Great size for my 3rd grader. Has some pockets inside to put his homework folder in. It's not as Royal Blue as it looks in the photo, however. More of a Navy Blue. My son is a huge Whovian, so we were hoping it would be Tardis blue, as I ended up sewing Doctor Who patches on it for him. But it's a really great color still, and holds up well. Fits comfortably. The shoulder straps have some really nice padding on them.

I have been having this for 4 months now and I think that this is an excellent back pack at a great price. I expected Samsonite to have a 5 star quality and this product did not disappoint.

This is a great backpack. I ordered it to replace my old Jansport bag (which was still in great shape, but I grew tired of the color). I can fit several textbooks and a laptop in it, although sometimes it is a tight squeeze. The side pouches for water bottles are great, my old pack did not have these and I was always worried a bottle might bust and ruin books/papers. The straps are cushioned and comfortable. I am, however, giving it only four stars because the color is much different than what is shown in the picture. The pack pictured is a very vibrant purple, while the real thing is a much more muted purple. Still attractive, but not what I was expecting.

SOLO Tech Collection Laptop Backpack for 17.3-Inch Notebook Computers (TCC703-4/20)

Was a little TOO snug for the 17.3" laptop, so we had to return it. It seemed to be sturdily constructed and the blues were quite bright and colorful.

This is a very good large laptop backpack.

I was looking for a large backpack that would hold my books, laptop and my little lunch bag for the day, and it was this or the Targus XL Backpack. Well after looking at both I went for the cheaper one. So far I haven't regretted the decision. The size is slightly smaller than the Targus, and it does seem to be a little lower in the quality of material and build, but the comfort and compartments to me seem just a tiny bit better. I like Solo's large main compartment with the smaller nicknacks in the front compartment and the laptop compartment in the back.

The zippers seem to be well constructed with metal pulls, but the bag material on the bottom seems like it might be a bit flimsy and I suspect it will wear out quickly. The straps are nice and cushiony and the back padding is very comfortable.

So far it has been very good. I'll try and report back in a few months to tell you how it has held up.

Baby Sherpa Alpha Sherpa - Black

I researched all sorts of baby diaper backpacks and thought this one would be the winner. It is an okay bag but now I wish I had kept the tags and paperwork to return it. The Lap top pocket is barely big enough to hold a laptop and if you do carry a lap top, there is no room for a changing pad (you have to choose one or the other and i would rather the changing pad). There is no diaper specific pockets or even enough inside pockets to separate your things. Also, there are no stroller straps to attach to your stroller or shopping cart for when you'd like to put your bag down. The big built in cooler is nice, but since most people just carry a few snacks for their children and not a six pack of cans, it makes for much less storage in the main backpack and makes the backpack top heavy. It also has no pacifier holder. The two extra side pockets could be slightly bigger. The material seems to be durable so far and it has served it's purpose. All in all, I would recommend a more diaper gear friendly bag to others. For being a diaper backpack, the Alpha Sherpa doesn't have all their bases covered.

I ordered the baby sherpa alpha after having my second child, needing a bag that work work for preschooler needs (juice, snacks, lunch) and baby needs (bottles, diapers, wipes, baby food). This is pretty perfect. Only fix? Not enough small interior pockets inside, like a purse. I can't find tiny things easily. Otherwise, really love this backpack.

I have had this bag for a couple of years. Some of the other reviewers noted quality issues, the only thing I have noticed was that the bungees stretched out and gave up faster than I would have liked. I have pulled them tight and cut off the excess one or two times. The rest of the bag looks brand new, since the material seems impervious to stains and tears.

Here is how I use this bag, and I love it.

#1) Airplane travel.

There is no better bag that I have found for airplane travel with kids. I don't use the changing pad that comes with the bag, since it is a bit big and bulky. I use a thinner more flexible one and slide it in the front open section of the bag along with our boarding passes. In the "laptop sleeve", I can fit either my 15" work laptop (I have to stretch it a bit to do this), or I will store my iPad, one or two magazines, a coloring book, and some paperback kids books.

I use the bottom insulated compartment for a kids change of clothes, snacks, and the airplane harness.

The top portion of the bag holds my wallet, diapers, wipes, my camera. iPad can also fit here if I am carrying the laptop.

The side pockets hold smaller treats (lollipops, stickers) for coaxing my kid to get in the seat and stay there. The other one holds my cell phone. One of the small pockets on the side has a string with a clip for keys, so I always know where they are.

The bungees can hold a kids jacket and blankie or lovey.

Then I still have the mesh pocket for a drink.

I also use a carabiner to clip on bags of food or airport purchases, there are handy plastic rings on the bag for this purpose. You can really load up and live up to the sherpa name.

Even with all this, it still fits under the seat. With this bag I feel confident to fly alone with my kid, with both hands free and an organized bag filled with kid necessities.

#2) The beach or hiking

For a day trip to the beach, I fill the insulated compartment with a frozen water bottle and snacks or a small picnic lunch. The top portion still holds diapers and also sunscreen, and magazines in the laptop sleeve. I have to carry another large tote for the tent, towels and sand toys. I use the bag as a pillow while lying on the beach. The bag will get hot in the sun, so I would only bring it if you have a tent or shade.

The handle on top makes it easy to move around once fully loaded. The straps are well padded, so I have never been uncomfortable wearing it. The back of the bag is a nice mesh fabric so I don't have a sweaty back.

I love the bag for these types of trips/outings. I think it is bit of overkill for an everyday diaper bag (except for an infant who needs formula). I don't take it shopping or to little trips around town. But it is a killer carry-on bag, and definitely beats carrying a diaper bag + cooler for picnics.

We received several diaper bags from our baby showers cheap and expensive ones. This one is by far our favorite.

We love the laptop sleeve so we don't have to carry extra computer bags. The cooler in the bottom is a must-have when traveling with breastmilk or formula. Plus, it's easy to carry through an airport you can't beat that.

I've had the Alpha Sherpa backpack for just over a year. I really like the cooler compartment in the bottom: it allows me to keep food items, messy bibs or other wet items separate from the rest of the bag. The side bottle compartment and mesh side water bottle holder are nice as well (I have a toddler and a baby, so it's great to have easily accessible outer pockets for each of their cups).The top compartment is rather small for 2 kids' stuff so I tend to overpack it, which may be why the zipper has split. The bungees on the front have also snapped in one place, so not all of them are useful now. The chest strap that holds the shoulder straps in place started to rip right away, so it's not very sturdy either.

I like having a backpack so my hands are free: it's hard to manage a toddler and a baby when I'm worrying about a diaper bag swinging off my shoulder to whack a kid, so this design solves that issue. The shoulder straps are nicely padded so they're pretty comfortable and make it easier to carry a heavy load than with a messenger bag.

I agree with the other review that points out that you can either use the laptop sleeve as a laptop case or a changing pad carrier there isn't a way to do both. We just haven't used it for a laptop sleeve. Also, the pad that came with the bag was too small and didn't seem like it would be easy to clean, so we replaced it with the JJ Cole pad we had from our Method bag.

Overall, I'm disappointed with the quality for the price ($90) of this bag. I knew there was only a 30 day warranty when I bought it, which made me suspect that the quality wasn't outstanding but I did hope it would last more than a year. I wouldn't recommend this bag to someone using it everyday; maybe only for occassional outings.

CaseCrown Book Cover Clip On Case (Black) for 11 Inch Apple MacBook Air

I bought one of these for my Macbook Air 2011 and I can say the following:

1. Visually its impressive. The Faux Leather looks and feels like the real deal. I was worried about putting any case on my Air as I didn't want to detract away from it's appearance. No worries on this point. The case actually makes my Air stand out from the rest.

2. Quality Although I haven't had the case for more than a week, I expect it to last for quite a while (and if it doesn't, another 18 bucks buys a new one).

3. Protection I'm sure there are other cases that can protect your air better than this one, specifically the clamshell type cases that snap around it to cover it completely. That being said, this case will protect the top and bottom extremely well. When the case is closed, only the left and right sides are exposed (the benefit here is that all the ports are open even when the case is closed). This is not an Otter Box, so if your expecting to be able to drop your macbook air from 10 feet, this case may not be for you. I can tell you though that having this case on here gives me a large degree of comfort knowing that the surfaces of my laptop are protected from scratches and nicks...

4. Wrist Rest When I purchased this case, I didn't realize it had this feature. The wrist rest is built into the case (the bottom part of the Mac Air slides into it). It has a cutout to expose the trackpad (which is fully functional) and is made of thin faux leather. I think it's not there for comfort, but rather to protect the Mac Air where your wrists rest. I know I've had several laptops that lose their luster there from repeated use and I was happy that this case will help keep my Air looking good for years to come.

5. Stand Built into the bottom of the case towards the back there is a pop-out stand. I assume this is to prop up the laptop when using it on a desk to help keep your hands in a "ergonomic" position. I very rarely use my Air at a desk (writing this review from my couch), but I tried it out and it was able to hold the laptop up even while typing a long email. Again, I wasn't expecting this, so I view it as sort of a bonus like the wrist rest.

6. Price I mean come on...it's 18 bucks and free shipping (if your a Prime subscriber). I was seriously considering buying the $79 Book Book case before I saw this one and decided that for the price I'd give it a shot. I'm SO glad I did.

This is my first review of anything I've ever purchased on Amazon (been buying here for 5 years or so) so that ought to tell you something. Oh...and I bought a second one for my wife's 2010 Macbook Air as well.

This might come off a bit harsh. This is not a bad cover, but it does have a few drawbacks. First thing to remember is almost all of these covers even the cough cough PD..... come from China or Korea.

I selected it over the more expensive ones because most are just ripping you off. A 11.6 Macbook Air cover should not be costing more than $50 maximum.

That aside I am using this cover as I type this. As for the external quality of the cover it is pretty good.

Now the few things that ding it as far as rating goes are

1. The little flap on the bottom used for ventilation and propping it up when it is on a desk, does not always stay closed after use. This could be improved. You have to press it in and hold it to make it close, it will still droop down sometimes.

2. Is how it fits on the Air. The Palm rest area slides into the cover and it is not quite a snug fit, not bad but not snug. This is manifest as well when you close the cover. it tends to expose the back corners of the Air until you physically push the air in slightly or push the top of the cover back. In a travel situation when you are in a hurry this could be a problem. As the rear corners of your laptop would be exposed.

I suspect that the $50 faux Suede covers fit more snugly. I can say for $20 delivered it was worth the money. I am not entirely disappointed give that. If I had paid more? I might be more upset.

There are not a lot of options overall for Macbook 11.6 Air in Leather or Leather style covers. In fact most options are in the $100 range.

The bottom line here is for the money, its not a bad cover, not perfect not completely terrible either.

I am sure there are people out there saying you get what you pay for. Though In terms of manufacturing, none of these covers cost a lot a to make. Unless the cover is imported from Italy, or hand made here in the States, it should not be costing you in the $100 range.

I was concerned about getting this but needed a case quickly for my macbook air and so I went for it. I love it. It fits so nicely in the case, I don't feel like it adds much bulk or weight to it and it feels well protected. The little flap that snaps it closed tucks under easilyno problem at all. I never have used that back flap that you can prop the computer withI guess I was a little worried when someone said it might not fit back as snugly as it does now. I have not needed it at all. It looks really nice and has done a great job protecting my new computer from my kids grubby little fingers. I really like the suede like pads which sit where your hands rest. I think this is one of the best features. It really protects your computer from the constant wear of your hands. I would buy another if this one fell apartbut it seems so sturdy I don't see that happening anytime soon. I highly recommend this case. And this is my first ever Amazon Review.

Hello Kitty Plush Face Messenger Bag

Shanghai Frizzi Chartreuse Green Covertible Messenger Diaper Bag

I thought this bag looked really neat from the photos but when I received it was I surprised, and not in a good way. To me it just looks cheap. The flap on the front is uneven and the fabric is not a very nice quality. I thought I could get a neat bag that didn't necessarily look like a diaper bag for a reasonable price, but I am returning this bag and will just spend a little more to get a better quality bag.

I got this bag because it resembles the petunia picklebottom diaper bags and I wanted a sturdy backpack. The fabric is nice, the bag is very roomy and I have gotten several compliments on it. However, the backpack straps unzip from the back and the zip does not close, leaving the back gaping. The bag is on the over-large side. Other than that, it is an affordable alternative to those pricey diaper bagsthe features on this one are nice, just a step down from pricey petunia.
