Yak Pak Backpack The Biggie - Multi color Brush : 6887-996

Yak Pak Backpack The Biggie - Multi color Brush : 6887-996This was my 3rd Yak Pak purchase, and they're all still going strong! I've had the "Biggie" for a year and use it daily commuting around school. It has 4 pockets: I keep my keys in the smallest front pocket, then a basic pen organizer in the 2nd smallest pocket plus room for small gadgets, then a laptop pocket that fits my 15.6" laptop in a sleeve nicely, and finally a HUGE compartment for books. I couldn't live without the mesh pockets on both sides (umbrella in one, water bottle in the other). The straps are a lot nicer and more padded on this bag than the classic backpack I have. And you can't forget that YakPaks are made with nylon, so they're water resistant!

Patagonia MLC Wheelie (Maximum Legal Carry-on) (Black)

Patagonia MLC Wheelieread the reviews and was skeptical but bought it anyway as trust the patagonia name --disappointed as other reviewers noted is too small, too many silly compartments that really don't work thus poorly designed and above all way over priced --i ended up getting a swiss gear carry on at target with a handy laptop compartment and seems extremely durable and is well designed for $100

Planet Mars Design 15-Inch,15.6-Inch Laptop Sleeve with Hidden Handle and D Ring Hook Eyelets for Shoulder Strap Bag Carrying CaseThis laptop sleeve is adequate but not overwhelming. There is not a lot of extra space for things like the power cord or anything else. If I was placing my order over again I would go to the next size up so I could carry a few extra items with me. On the positive side the quality is good; it was delivered promptly and on time.

Mountain Hardwear SplitterTM 38 Backpack

Mountain Hardwear Splitter 38 Backpack - Black - Small/MediumThis pack is very comfortable and surprisingly big. I load this bag with my whole rack plus double camalots .5 to 4 and all other required gear and there is still room for odds and ends. For a day pack it is unbeatable, you can fit all your sport gear and a 60m rope with some room to spare. Definitely recommend to others.

The days are long past when I could dump a Salewa hammer, some pins, slings, a swami belt, a shoulder harness with 2o biners, lunch, a jacket, a chalk bag and some gorp into my nice leather-bottom North Face summit pack, pull the drawstring and strap the rope over the top, pulling the two long straps. Crampons (when calked for went on the bottom, spikes into that nice leather bottom, clip, a water bottle to one of the shoulder straps, add an ice axe, if necessary, and head off cragging.

Now we have chocks, and cams, and wired chocks, and fancy harnesses, and helmets (I only wore helmets on loose rock or when Alpine climbing, back in the day) and rope bags, and rope cloths, and belay/rap devices, and cell phones, and digital cameras, and hydration bladders...

Well, these packs carry it all. Tough as they can be! Holds two ice tools each, and two water bottle pockets, too. Padded and divided to spare your back from that Camalot #5...

If you have any kind of trek to the base of the climb or plan a day at the 'gunks or JTree these are great if you and four others plan to have everything that you need right-at-hand.

13.3 inch Hot Pink Fuchsia Café in Paris Notebook Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case for Apple MacBoo

13.3 inch Hot Pink Fuchsia Café in Paris Notebook Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case for Apple MacBook 13 and 13 inch ComputerI love my case. It is even better then it looks online. I get so many complicates on it at school.

The 13.3 inch Hot Pink Fuchsia Cafe in Paris Notebook Laptop Sleeve Case is great! It was purchased for our daughter's laptop for school. During our search for school supplies we noticed that there are not many laptop cases out there with designs on them, most of them that were found in local retailers were just plain. Our daughter commented how did we ever find such a great looking case. We just told her that we have special connections, lol. I would recommend seller and purchase from seller again.

Sonic the Hedgehog Backpack

Sonic the Hedgehog BackpackThis backpack is horrible. I have re-sewed the seams many, many times, but the top seams on both sides keep ripping open just past where it was last sewed. My son is in Kindergarten so he's not even putting school books in it. It's just a cheaply made backpack that does not hold together.

Our grandson was thrilled to have a backpack with his favorite character on it when he started 2nd grade this year. Three weeks after school started I found one of the bottom seems had started pulling apart. I mended that, and reinforced that entire seam. Now, five weeks into the school year, the seam around the top edge is pulling out. The picture on the front does not even show a scratch on it, the only durable thing about it. The only thing he carries in it is a library book, one pocketed folder and his lunch box that matches it.

I purchased this Sonic backpack for my kindergartner. After 1 wash the seam on the front pocket unraveled and there was a giant hole in the bottom. My son loved this backpack and was so sad when we had to throw it out.

My son has only had this backpack for 2 months and it already has a huge hole in the bottom. He is only in 1st grade and does not carry heavy books or anything that would cause undue stress to the seams. Don't buy.

It's not the seller's fault but, this is not a quality product.

I ordered this for my Sonic-obsessed son because I didn't see any Sonic backpacks around where I live. He loves it and it really is cute. The quality is like any other kids' backpacks you see out there-meaning it's not cheaply made but I wouldn't say it's the same quality as those sold in a sporting goods store. Anyway it's perfect for my little kindergartener and I'm glad I got it for him.

This is a BEAUTIFUL case for my 17.3 laptop. I am actually glad that it was a little bigger so that all of my stuff could fit inside. The scenery is really kewl; I was looking for something without the typical loud colors, something more subdued...this was my answer! For the smell that folks commented on, I just placed a laundry sheet inside for a day or two. Amazon once again has come thru!

Want 19 inch Cafe in Paris Silver Gray Notebook Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case Discount?

I was looking for a simple case that coule carry my 17" laptop, a mouse and the power cord. Most cases have far too many compartments and are too bulky. This one SEEMED to be the answer. But not quite. It has no handle and no specific place for the power cord or mouse. It does protest the laptop, but I am still looking for one similar but with handles that si the correct size for a 17" computer. It seems as though there are many for 10", 15" and 19" but very few for 17" machines.

Baby Sherpa Alpha Sherpa - Black

Baby Sherpa Alpha Sherpa - BlackI researched all sorts of baby diaper backpacks and thought this one would be the winner. It is an okay bag but now I wish I had kept the tags and paperwork to return it. The Lap top pocket is barely big enough to hold a laptop and if you do carry a lap top, there is no room for a changing pad (you have to choose one or the other and i would rather the changing pad). There is no diaper specific pockets or even enough inside pockets to separate your things. Also, there are no stroller straps to attach to your stroller or shopping cart for when you'd like to put your bag down. The big built in cooler is nice, but since most people just carry a few snacks for their children and not a six pack of cans, it makes for much less storage in the main backpack and makes the backpack top heavy. It also has no pacifier holder. The two extra side pockets could be slightly bigger. The material seems to be durable so far and it has served it's purpose. All in all, I would recommend a more diaper gear friendly bag to others. For being a diaper backpack, the Alpha Sherpa doesn't have all their bases covered.

I ordered the baby sherpa alpha after having my second child, needing a bag that work work for preschooler needs (juice, snacks, lunch) and baby needs (bottles, diapers, wipes, baby food). This is pretty perfect. Only fix? Not enough small interior pockets inside, like a purse. I can't find tiny things easily. Otherwise, really love this backpack.

I have had this bag for a couple of years. Some of the other reviewers noted quality issues, the only thing I have noticed was that the bungees stretched out and gave up faster than I would have liked. I have pulled them tight and cut off the excess one or two times. The rest of the bag looks brand new, since the material seems impervious to stains and tears.

Here is how I use this bag, and I love it.

#1) Airplane travel.

There is no better bag that I have found for airplane travel with kids. I don't use the changing pad that comes with the bag, since it is a bit big and bulky. I use a thinner more flexible one and slide it in the front open section of the bag along with our boarding passes. In the "laptop sleeve", I can fit either my 15" work laptop (I have to stretch it a bit to do this), or I will store my iPad, one or two magazines, a coloring book, and some paperback kids books.

I use the bottom insulated compartment for a kids change of clothes, snacks, and the airplane harness.

The top portion of the bag holds my wallet, diapers, wipes, my camera. iPad can also fit here if I am carrying the laptop.

The side pockets hold smaller treats (lollipops, stickers) for coaxing my kid to get in the seat and stay there. The other one holds my cell phone. One of the small pockets on the side has a string with a clip for keys, so I always know where they are.

The bungees can hold a kids jacket and blankie or lovey.

Then I still have the mesh pocket for a drink.

I also use a carabiner to clip on bags of food or airport purchases, there are handy plastic rings on the bag for this purpose. You can really load up and live up to the sherpa name.

Even with all this, it still fits under the seat. With this bag I feel confident to fly alone with my kid, with both hands free and an organized bag filled with kid necessities.

#2) The beach or hiking

For a day trip to the beach, I fill the insulated compartment with a frozen water bottle and snacks or a small picnic lunch. The top portion still holds diapers and also sunscreen, and magazines in the laptop sleeve. I have to carry another large tote for the tent, towels and sand toys. I use the bag as a pillow while lying on the beach. The bag will get hot in the sun, so I would only bring it if you have a tent or shade.

The handle on top makes it easy to move around once fully loaded. The straps are well padded, so I have never been uncomfortable wearing it. The back of the bag is a nice mesh fabric so I don't have a sweaty back.

I love the bag for these types of trips/outings. I think it is bit of overkill for an everyday diaper bag (except for an infant who needs formula). I don't take it shopping or to little trips around town. But it is a killer carry-on bag, and definitely beats carrying a diaper bag + cooler for picnics.

We received several diaper bags from our baby showers cheap and expensive ones. This one is by far our favorite.

We love the laptop sleeve so we don't have to carry extra computer bags. The cooler in the bottom is a must-have when traveling with breastmilk or formula. Plus, it's easy to carry through an airport you can't beat that.

Want Baby Sherpa Alpha Sherpa - Black Discount?

I've had the Alpha Sherpa backpack for just over a year. I really like the cooler compartment in the bottom: it allows me to keep food items, messy bibs or other wet items separate from the rest of the bag. The side bottle compartment and mesh side water bottle holder are nice as well (I have a toddler and a baby, so it's great to have easily accessible outer pockets for each of their cups). The top compartment is rather small for 2 kids' stuff so I tend to overpack it, which may be why the zipper has split. The bungees on the front have also snapped in one place, so not all of them are useful now. The chest strap that holds the shoulder straps in place started to rip right away, so it's not very sturdy either.

I like having a backpack so my hands are free: it's hard to manage a toddler and a baby when I'm worrying about a diaper bag swinging off my shoulder to whack a kid, so this design solves that issue. The shoulder straps are nicely padded so they're pretty comfortable and make it easier to carry a heavy load than with a messenger bag.

I agree with the other review that points out that you can either use the laptop sleeve as a laptop case or a changing pad carrier there isn't a way to do both. We just haven't used it for a laptop sleeve. Also, the pad that came with the bag was too small and didn't seem like it would be easy to clean, so we replaced it with the JJ Cole pad we had from our Method bag.

Overall, I'm disappointed with the quality for the price ($90) of this bag. I knew there was only a 30 day warranty when I bought it, which made me suspect that the quality wasn't outstanding but I did hope it would last more than a year. I wouldn't recommend this bag to someone using it everyday; maybe only for occassional outings.

Thule EnRoute Mosey Daypack for 15-Inch MacBook Pro and 10-Inch Tablets - Black (TEMD-115)

Thule EnRoute Mosey Daypack for 15-Inch MacBook Pro and 10-Inch Tablets - BlackSo after discovering this pack on Thule's website, I was nervous that I could not find a review on it ANYWHERE, I ultimately purchased it from Amazon, and below are my first impressions

One of the first things I did was load it up with essentials, 15" Macbook Pro Retina, Nexus 7 tablet, car adapter, rain jacket, snacks, Nikon D5200 SLR w 18-200mm lens, SB-400 flash (in the crush proof pocket). Macbook chager (in the other crush proof pocket), everything fit great, and the pack was surprisingly comfortable with about 20lbs of gear in it. I really like how it sits close on my shoulders, should be great for motorcycle rides in the spring.

Since I will use this pack with a lot of electronics I did a quick weather test, I filled the main pocket with a beach towel, and I stuffed paper towels in all the critical areas, then I put it on and stood in the shower on full blast for 5 minutes. Here are the results.

Top compartment (zipper on very top of bag) = Soaked

Crush Proof pockets = little leakage, just slightly damp

Inside the main compartment: laptop area = bone dry

Tablet area = bone dry

very bottom of pack (where the beach towel was) = very wet, not quite soaked.

Since I plan on taking my DSLR in this pack I am going to purchase this to keep it dry and protected http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004S7ZVQO/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I kow this isn't advertised as a waterproof pack, but the wickening of the faberic performed well, and if caught in a downpour your electronics should be safe.

Overall I am very satsified with my purchase, it's the perfect size / comfort / styling for an urban daypack.

Enough features to be an urban pack, and enough room to be an overnight (or gym) pack. This Thule pack is very well-made. The material has a tough feel but sophisticated look. The zippers are strong and there are no seams for them to catch on (a pet peeve of mine). Here's the run-down on functions and storage...

Your computer will go in an inside pocket at the back of the pack. The laptop slot, which fits my 13" MBA very easily, is padded on all sides (including the bottom of the pack), except for the top which is open and does not have any closure. The top of the pack cinches down to keep the laptop in place, but when the bag is open, you will need to be careful to no let your laptop slide out.

Your iPad will go in a shallow pocket attached to the laptop pocket, This one is not padded on the front and will leave the top of your large iPad sticking out a few inches.

The rest of the inside of the pack is cavernous. I was able to fit three days worth of clothes for a recent car-camping trip.

On the inside front of the pack there are three pockets (one large and secured with a small piece of velcro, and two unsecured smaller pockets. I struggled to find a good use for the larger (4" x 11") pocket, but ended up using it for snacks and power bars. A charger didn't quite work for me there. It was too bulky and caused the bag to slouch over too much. The two smaller pockets are good for your phone and a couple of cords.

There is a good-sized pocket and zippered mesh pocket on the top of the bag. This is where I ended up putting my charger and cords. Keys and wallet can go in the zippered mesh pocket (there is a key chain holder there). The mesh pocket would also be a great place for toiletries.

On each side of the pack there is a reinforced zippered pocket that is designed for sunglasses or your phone. The inside is a soft, felt-like material. There is no dedicated media port, but the top of the zipper would allow you to pass a headphone cord through. The sunglass pockets are very well reinforced and are a nice, well-designed feature. Won't quite fit goggles, however.

Below each sunglass pocket is a water bottle pocket. Fits your typical 0.5L water bottle fine. The good news is that it also fits a 1 L Nalgene-type bottle without any trouble. The depth of the pocket holds the water bottle in place. The fabric around the bottle stretches, so your bottle is secure whether it is 0.5 or 1 L.

That's it for pockets. There is a total of 7 lashing points on the front of the pack. I use small caribiners to hang my flashlight, headlamp, and other items. One complaint about the pack is that the latch to secure the top of the pack is very subject to slipping out. It is a passive, pass-through latch that has a tendency to work its way out. I found myself resetting that latch way too frequently. Why not use a more secure latch? I'm guessing it would have taken away from the sleek look of the bag. Still, I would rather not have to mess with the latch so frequently, especially with my laptop counting on it staying secure. This bag is also lacking a waste strap. The sternum strap is fine, but if you load this up, it will start bearing down on your shoulders. There is generally very little in the way of adjustments, particularly at the shoulder, and you cannot cinch the contents down to make them more balance or secure.

Overall a good bag that tries to balance looks with functionality. I overall prefer my North Face day pack for its overall versatility, but this bag is very nice as a relatively simple pack that you can just toss stuff into and go.

Buy Thule EnRoute Mosey Daypack for 15-Inch MacBook Pro and 10-Inch Tablets - Black (TEMD-115) Now

I'm very pleased to have this pack for an unusual use. I do genealogy work, have for decades, and the materials are valuable. I'm too old to reproduce it. This pack becomes my travel pack for daytrips or weekends to sites, libraries, cemeteries, and even the document rich courthouse. It's nice to have all the electronics and materials in one pack to pass through courthouse security easily.

My bag is gray, and the color is a few tones lighter than the Amazon image appears, FYI for those color conscious.

My adaption shows the versatility for this item.

1.....Main compartment is large enough to hold my laptop and a full 3" thick 3-ring binder of data. A separate compartment, with protective padding between holds my KindleFire easily. Between these larger compartments is an 8"x8" sleeve that can hold a ready supply of new charts. On the front of this main partition is 4 additional sleeve pockets two 4"x6 ½" and two 4"x5". These hold pencils, erasers, highlighters, scissors, extra batteries, flash drives, discs, and even coins to pay for copies (thus the convenience for passing through security, jeans pockets empty, it's all in the bag.)

As duel protection, a drawstring nylon top can be optionally closed over the inside contents prior to lowering the top flap and securing it with a fool-proof strap clasp.

2.....The lid that covers and secures tight over this compartment has 2 of its own zippered places, one inside the other. One holds my snacks, a net portion, which also has an attached short strap with a metal clip to secure a valuable like a camera or keys. The larger compartment I carry 5"x*' pads of paper for notes.

3.....The front has 2 (one each side) stiff sided zippered storage units that easily hold anything 3"x6"x2", and the locations where I keep a camera (fast use) and cell phone. I also keep a spare pair of glasses there (yes, I have lost a pair in the grass before.) Below these pockets are sleeves with an elastic open top that holds water bottles and/or a slender coffee thermos for me (and peppermints.) I also carry a damp washcloth in a Ziploc.

4.....There are 7 plastic 2" loops that have yet served no purpose for me.

5.....Padding on the pack's back and straps make it comfortable to carry as a backpack for extended times. A strong nylon loop at the top of the straps allows the pack to easily be carried in one hand, my usual method.

6..... Pack itself weighs less than 1 ½ lbs so carrying load is completely up to the user.

That's just my use, and everyone will be able to adapt this item for their own use.

Perhaps a backpack diaper bag? Overnighter carryon?

Strong construction, as good as I've seen on a pack this size.

It's worth the money to protect valuable electronics and genealogy data.

It will be fun to read reviews in the future and see how many ways this pack has been adapted.

The Thule EnRoute Mosey Daypack is a gorgeous day/backpack and it will draw attention. It's styled like an ultrabook (and sized like one, as well). If you're like me and you carry a laptop, iPad, notebook, external hard drive, and various other vital gear, then you might grow frustrated with the space limitations imposed by the very modest size of this pack. Then again, it is billed as a daypack, and if your adventures don't require you to bring along much more than your computer and a few power bars, then you'll have plenty of room to spare. I somehow manage to make it work, but it's not for everybody.

In terms of overall design and quality of construction, this is unquestionably the nicest bag I have ever owned. Every element--from fabric to zipper pulls--screams "top shelf" and you will never be embarrassed to have this bag slung over your shoulder.

For the price, I don't think there's a better combination of quality, design, and utility out there. Highly recommended.

This bag is a little large overall, but my laptop sits in perfectly in the main compartment and the padded surface of the compartment offers good protection. I use the slip pocket to keep my Kindle Fire.

It comes with two side heat-molded compartments which are known for fragile gears; I keep my cell phone, sunglass and my camcorder. The bag can accommodate all kinds of gear and can take up to fifteen to twenty pounds of electronic paraphernalia. It also has a side pocket on the lower side where I keep my water bottle. One cool thing about this bag is that the padded backpack straps make it easier to carry the load. It is good for camping trip or weekend trips.

The materials are of good quality and the bag is strong, but the snap-in locking mechanism is not user-friendly. I give this product four-star for comfort, design and utility.

This was a Christmas present for my husband who had just started school and needed a nice bag for his books and work laptop. He loved it; needless to say we were both disappointed when the bag tore right along the sides a couple months in making it useless. As it is leather and he didn't load it up more than what the website showed, we were surprised this happened. I contacted the David King company and sent in photos of the tears. The representative was also puzzled when he saw the tears and assured us it must have been a fluke. We received a replacement quickly and so far it has held up longer than the original. I would do business with them again. The bag is really nice, goes with anything (my husband wears clothes from business dress to jeans) and durable. Lots of space inside for his laptop and paperwork or schoolbooks. A nice gift for any guy young or old.

Pros: nice leather, button straps work great.

Cons: no shoulder pad for strap! It hurts when you're carrying a laptop, books, and other things for a long walk. Could use a shoulder pad. Pocket for laptop could be padded just a little bit better.

I would recommend finding something less expensive that is better. It's not a terrible bag and if you can't find anything else then get this-it won't do you wrong but it won't serve your shoulders any justice.
