Revo Spin II 29" Exp. Twister Upright

Revo Spin II 29' Exp. Twister UprightI bought a 29" Revo Spin 2 from a discount luggage shop in Los Angeles in late July of 2012, to live out of on my current US tour (I travel the world for a living, working on the crew of touring Broadway shows and concert tours). Today (May 30, '13) I replaced it with a different spinner from another maker.

The Revo case held up fairly well to the rigors of the North American air-travel industry (and the shaved apes who try as hard as they can to break your luggage into smithereens) for the most part, but the trim and handles took a real beating I never thought of a grip handle as a consumable wear point before. On the bag's second air trip, flying from SFO to DFW on AA, the pull-up handle somehow got mooshed a touch; barely enough to see but enough to prevent it's smooth deployment or stowage Since last August, I've had to really whomp on the handle to get it to slip back into the bag. On the bag's fifth foray into the airline world, the external ID tag cse was ripped off. The following trip one of the four caster corners was shattered, and it took a few days to find a repair facility that could fix Revo bags, to replace the wheels. A few weeks ago, the riveted-on plastic REVO brand tag that appears on the top-front pocket cover departed this life... Ten months, and the bag is giving up.

Speaking of that pull-up handle, I'm really not a fan of the height that the handle's packing tubes intrude into the suitcase interior. You can't really pack anything flat against the case while it's lying on it's back. I know many cases do this, but I've seen enough suitcases (and today bought one) that have the sleeves outside the cases interior, with a true "flat-floor" packing scheme.

The Revo also weighs a lot. I mean, this sucker's *heavy*; almost fifteen pounds. It's a trade-off, of course; the heavier the exterior fabric, the more protection this sort of bag provides, however each pound of suitase equals a pound less of personal belongings you can pack before you hit the airlines' overweight-fee points. And I have run into more than one uncalibrated airport ticket counter scale that claimed my 49-lb. loaded Revo was over the magic 50-pound point ("that'll be another $100, please."). This bag is at least two pounds heavier than even the heaviest polycarbonate hardside I've investigated. If you travel more by rail/auto/ship/whatever than by air, and thus are not as affected by overweight fees as other travelers, this might not be any concern to you. But if, like me, you *are* on weight restrictions and flying every week, you'd do well to bear it in mind.

I will admit again that, for the most part, the touring industry hasn't been able to totally kill this bag. But enough stuff *has* happened to it that maybe shouldn't have, that I can't really give it a real five-star rating. It's just an OK bag. It does the job. I bought it on sale in L.A., and I can't say I didn't get my money's worth out of it. But then again, I didn't pay what Amazon is asking for a new Revo. If I did, I wouldn't be so sanguine about this bag as I am.

Sundance Rolling Backpack with Laptop Sleeve Color: Blue Target

Sundance Rolling Backpack with Laptop Sleeve Color: Blue TargetMy 5th grader (and her classmates) loves this bag! She is in a new school with lots of ramps and walking across campus. The backpack is lightweight, easy to stroll, and durable. No more heavy loads and back strain.

Bought the book bag for my 9 year old 4th grader. We have had the book bag for a few months and so far the handle is working well and hasn't jammed or bent like many other T-Bar book bags we have tried but I was dissapointed that the inside material seam ripped within a few weeks of using from the heavy books. I have tried different book bags but have yet to find one for a child to use at school that has a stronger material for the inside other than the silky material they use which doesn't hold up well with the large binders and books kids have to carry these days but if you find one I would suggest getting it.

When my 5th grade daughter came home with a sore back and a 17lb backpack, we knew it was time to look for a rolling backpack. After researching for the best/sturdiest one out there (and believe me, we looked at them ALL!)... this one seemed to be the best for her needs. The size appeared to be good also. However.... the first day she brought it to school, she hated it. Don't get me wrong, she loves the pack itself and all its compartments. But it would not fit on the school bus (they have to put their packs on the floor in front of their feet), and would not even fit in her locker!!! She was so upset today about it, and said she is never going to use it again. The problem is the size stated in the description is 13 inches wide. But when you count the wheels, in reality it is more like 13.5, and this backpack can't be "squished" or stuffed into her locker like a regular backpack, due to the hard plastic underneath (where the wheels are). The only other thing I did not like about it, was that the inner lining was a little thin (much thinner than most backpacks out there), it was not the canvas-type fabric, but more like a thin nylon fabric that could easily tear with a couple months use and heavy books. I am so disappointed that my daughter is going to have to go back to carrying a regular backpack on her shoulders that weighs 17 lb. Someone really needs to make a backpack like this that is narrower (even by a couple inches!) for narrower school lockers!!! We will use this rolling pack for travel, so my daughter is at least happy about that. She will now have her own carry-on luggage when we go on vacation.

PSI would also like to note that we ordered the matching lunch bag (which my daughter really liked), but it was not the exact same color blue as this backpack. Both were shipped from Wayfair.

Belvah Medium Quilted Damask Print Backpack Style Handbag - Choice of Colors

Belvah Medium Quilted Damask Print Backpack Style Handbag - Choice of ColorsI only use backpack purses because I like to have my hands free when shopping or when out with my daughter. (With a regular shoulder strap pocketbook I end up whapping her inadvertly b/c I bend to help her and the purse swings forward!). The problem w/ most backpack purses is that they are ugly. Not this one! It's very pretty, love the patterns available. Someone asked me if it was a Vera Bradley purse. It is very spacious I can carry a hardcover book if I want along w/ the rest of my usual pocketbook stuff. The side pockets are a bit useless although my cell phone fits and it would be a handy spot, there is nothing to really hold it in place. Might be good for travel tissues or something else you wouldn't be too upset to lose. It has the outer zippered pocket which is big enough to fit my large wallet, a large space inside main compartment and a small zippered pocket inside. This is my favorite backpack purse ever.

perfect sized backpack; bigger than a purse but not as big as a regular backpack. it fits nicely on my back.

Bought this backpack in January. Have used it daily (as a purse) since it arrived and just love it. Several people have asked where I got it (amazon.com, of course!), because they want to get one. I especially like the fabric pattern. The only thing that would make it better would be a long zippered pouch on the back.

Very cute but not a full size back pack. My daughter still loves it though, she is ten and loves damask.

Bought this for a trip to Disney to carry necessities for a five year old with allergies. Was able to fit epi-pens, wipes, wallet, water bottle, snacks and more. Nice compact bag, comfortable and cute! Very happy with this purchase, plus much less expensive than other brands and the quality was superb!

High Sierra Tech Series 59205 Hawk 45 Internal Frame Pack

High Sierra Hawk 45 Frame Pack Amazon/Pine/LeafBeen traveling the world for 7 months with this pack, so I feel I can write an accurate review now. I was attracted by the light weight and the price, and I haven't regretted the purchase. It has held up well despite getting tossed around a lot, used as a seat on the floor of many a train or bus, or squished into overhead storage bins. No seams have come apart, but the little plastic toggles at the end of every cinch-strap disappeared within the first month. No loss, though...simply knotted the loose ends together. It's a "stovepipe" style bag, meaning whatever's on the bottom will be buried unless it's unpacked or you go up through the zippered sleeping bag compartment. Many people prefer a side-zip style because of this, but I tend to keep my more valuable items down there so they're hard to get at by sticky-fingered types on packed busses and whatnot. The included rain cover works well in all but the most torrential downpours, and even then only the top of the backrest gets wet. I've found the benefits of the arched mesh "Air Flow" back cooling design to be negligible; in hot, tropical countries like here in Sri Lanka your back is going to get sweaty no matter what the mesh still presses onto your clothes the same as a normal pack would and there isn't much air flowing through there. One nice side effect is that if you pack the bag with your heavy gear down at the bottom, the arched frame keeps most of the weight on your hips and off of your shoulders. The shoulder straps aren't adjustable, but they've been comfortable on my 6'3", medium sized frame. Mesh elastic side pockets can each hold big 1.5L water bottles with ease. Hidden zippered pocket under the top makes for a nice place to stash journals, souvenirs and such. The 45L is small enough to be allowed as carry-on baggage on every flight I've taken it on through a wide variety of airlines (so long as you keep the contents to under 11 kilos you won't even have to check it in). Souvenir patches glue tightly to the nylon fabric, but the glue doesn't permeate through to the inside. Doesn't sound like much, but previous bags were a pain to try to get patches to adhere to without sewing them on. Only other complaint would be that the back rails aren't adjustable like in higher-end packs, meaning even if you're packed lightly, the bag is always the same height; the upper pocket just droops down to however high your gear is when you buckle it closed. I chose a bag in the gray and burnt-orange color, and it's held up well and resists looking dirty despite the fact it must be filthy. Much more expensive bags by Deuter look really similar but perform the same from what I've heard. All and all a nice pack for the cheap price. If mine fails as I continue along on this trip you'll be the first to know!

This pack is absolutely terrific. Just used on a trip from Georgia to Olympic Park, Washington. Carried onto the airplane no problem. Stows overhead easily. Plenty of room and fully adjustable. The mesh back was a key issue for me and it works great. Kept my back comfortable and cooler than with my older packs.

The price is great compared to most other bags with same size and features. I paid $85 on amazon (with Prime). I had been planning a trip to climb Kilimanjaro and needed my first bag. The bag came and i worried it maybe too small. However, so long as you pack each light, i was able to pack a weeks worth of clothes and gear (around 30 lbs). I did not need to carry food and cooking supplies. I was also able to use this as my carry-on without problems. the camel-back pocket works great and has a hose hole on both sides. The bag could use an extra pocket on both sides just for convenience for smaller supplies and quicker access, but is very useful with the few it does have. The built in rain cover is plenty big and durable even with extras strapped outside the bag. The straps and frame are perfectly comfortable for 30lbs and 5-15 hrs a day. The bag made it through the 2 week trip with heavy usage with minimal wear and tear. I did notice a few seams starting to pull apart once i was home and unpacking but nothing that was even close to something i would be worried about yet or even while on the trail. The most important stitches and seams were fine.

I bought this pack based on its size and price. I love it, it is lightweight, has extra compartments in the waist straps and a very appropriate handle I never seen in similar packs. I recommend it.

This was what I expected and a well thought out pack, good quality. One flaw, the handle on the front compartment had missed stitching and I will have to have someone stitch the under side material where the stitching was missed, otherwise a great pack. Quality control needs to be checked by the manufacturer. Other wise would be 5 star.

Velo Transit Men's Compact Waterproof Messenger Bicycle Backpack

Velo Transit Men's Compact Waterproof Messenger Bicycle BackpackI have recently started a walk/bus commute in which I walk several miles each day in Seattle. Consequently I needed a comfortable, waterproof backpack that also looks professional. Sure, you can get one of the large plastic sack bags with a roll top that looks like they would survive a roll over on your kayak. They are quite waterproof but do not look very professional. I have the District 30 which is a fantastic pack. It is a bit bigger than the Compact 25 but very similar in most ways. I had a hard time deciding which one to get. Either would have been a great purchase. Let me tell you about the District 30 since it is the one that I have. I have been using it for several weeks now and I have some observations.

1. Comfort This bag is the most comfortable backpack I have ever owned. The company founder and pack designer has designed this bag with comfort in mind.

2. Professional/stylish This pack comes in many colors and I have the all black one. Let me just say that this is a cool and stylish looking pack. It has a roll top pack which I will cover later but it does not look like a large plastic bag. Regardless of the fact that it is waterproof, it is a great looking bag. It also has several other pockets for keys, papers, iPad, etc. It is not a one chamber bag.

3. Waterproof While I have not had the opportunity to try it in one of the big Seattle downpours yet, I have faced a few showers with everything staying completely dry. The main roll top chamber of the bag is lined with a waterproof liner. The outside pockets of the pack are protected with a waterproof flap. I have confidence that this bag will protect all of my items.

4. Quality You will not find a better pack for any price. The padding is great, the stitching is hefty and it is put together to last. This pack is hand made in Seattle. You can certainly pay less for a mass made pack but it will not be waterproof nor will it have this high quality. For all of the money I am saving riding the bus, I decided to invest in a quality pack. Why not?

So in summary, you cannot go wrong with any of the Velo Transit backpacks. They are high quality, waterproof, comfortable and built right here in Seattle.

January 2013

I have had it for one year and I carry it every day to work. I still love it.

I just received this bag as a gift for Christmas and currently live in Seattle so I have already had a couple of opportunities to test out the functionality and "water proofness", so far the bag seems solid. I have a two hour commute and many times, in the rain, I carry a couple of books a change of clothes, mobile phone, u-lock, and a bottle of water and everything has remained dry and there is still room to put more stuff in it. At first i thought that my stuff would get wet because the top of the bag has a draw string and then a large flap that comes over, where as most of the other bags have a roll over top, but like I said, "I'm in Seattle", and everything stayed dry. There are plenty of pockets and so far so good on the comfort level. There are also two reflective strips which helps in keeping me seen. I also had a problem at first registering my bag online and when I called the customer service was excellent. So, so far my overall impression is it's a great bag there are other bags that I looked at from more popular companies, but many of them are made overseas and this one is made in the USA which means a lot to me and I don't mind that it may cost a little more.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack in Heavenly Holland

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack in Heavenly HollandJust got the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack (Heavenly Holland) and I love it!!! First of all, it's beautiful! It has a unique changing flap on the front with a pocket for wipes, diapers, and hand sanitizer, as well as a fold out changing pad. So handy!!! I was constantly digging out these items separately from my former diaper bag. It also completely closes so no more items spilling out of my large open diaper bag. There are good number of pockets and a zip up pouch on the inside and plenty of room for all the items I take along for my 1 year old and 3 year old. The velcro on the front flap is pretty loud when you open it, but at least there's no fear of it coming loose on it's own and item falling out of the bag.

Stephen Joseph Girls 2-6X Quilted Backpack

Butterfly Quilted Backpack Purple by Stephen JosephGot this backpack for my soon to be kindergartener. It is very cute but barely fits her folder for school, meaning you can put it in there but it sticks out and you cannot pull the drawstrings closed. Also , the pocket is very cheap plastic-like material. I expected the backpack to be a lot more durable.. it seems more cheaply made than I had hoped for. I think it was a bad choice for a school backpack and it is more for a younger child to take in the car or something along those lines.

Bought this for our daughter who was just beginning pre-school. It is just the right size for little ones to carry, and tall enough for her school folder to fit in. She likes to put Hershey kisses in the outside zippered pocket to save for "later". Great buy, especially if you don't want the licensed character crap that everyone else has.

This little backpack is just wonderful for my almost-2 year old daughter. It is easy to identify because of the brown color (most other backpacks for girls seem to be pink or purple) and the owl design is really fun. I got her name embroidered on the flap in the dark green color and it looks great. The pack is big enough to hold her sippy cup, a divided lunch container and several diapers. This was a good buy!

My granddaughter is three and wanted a backpack. She wanted a pink backpack, her favorite color, and she wanted one her size. This is perfect in everyway. It has a kitten on the front, is easy for her to get on and off. The quilted material is perfect for little shoulders, and she can carry it on her back without parental worry that it will hurt.

My granddaughter is a 'Dora the Explorer' fan, but those backpacks were too big and did not look comfortable. With this backpack, she can place her little goodies in the backpack and carry them around. This backpack is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. It is easy to open and close, but it still does not open too easily so that the contents can spill out easily.

My granddaughter loves this backpack , and that is the most important aspect. It is sturdy enough for a three year old, beautiful, and it is pink. What could be better?

Highly Recommended. prisrob 07-31-12

Neff Kruzer Backpack - Black

Neff Kruzer Backpack - BlackI bought it for school, it's basically a cheaply made backpack that they can charge more for because of the neff logo. If it didn't have the neff text then it would probably cost 5 dollars. It started ripping all over the first week of school. It also has some lip that comes up around the zippers and is VERY annoying. Neff is an amazing company, but please, don't buy a neff backpack. Stick to the beanies and clothes!

Microsoft 39203 Laptop Roller Bag - DestinationThe laptop bag is great with all the pockets and places to store my stuff. The handle sometimes takes a few tries to collapse and if I fly on the small planes the only way I can put this bag into the overhead storage is the top first and I have to force it. But this is the only bag I can find that is thin enough to even fit in the overhead of the small planes so I am not complaining. Overall I enjoy the bag.

Trailmaker Girls' Backpack / Book bag - Black with pink accents and peace signs

Trailmaker Girls' Backpack / Book bag - Black with pink accents and peace signsI purchased this for my 8 year old for this upcoming school year she seen it and really liked the artwork on it so I got it for her. She has yet to use it yet so I really cant say anything about the durability of the bag but I can say that I highly doubt that it will make it through the year. It looks and feels cheaply made, it is also quite small so it would be good for a child with very little to carry around but would steer clear of this bag for someone that needs to tote around multiple books of any sort, the front pocket isn't even big enough to hold a zippered pencil bag.

All in all, my daughter likes the colors and design and she is really happy with it, I however knowing what I know now would NOT reorder a bag from this brand!

Marware jurni Kindle Case Cover, Red (fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, and Kindle Touch)

Marware jurni Kindle Case Cover, RedLike a few others, I ordered this case after finding out about Kindle Touch. I wanted to take my kindle touch on a long, rough hiking trip (20 days), so I looked through the zippered covers carefully, and I ended up with this one.

Here are a few things I really enjoy about it:

1. This cover is very protective. To imitate the rough circumstances I might face on my trip, I have tried punching my fists together across one cover (not two), and a few punches don't hurt a lot. Through this test, I decided that my kindle touch will be safe from any reasonable collisions.

2. The zippers pull smoothly, much better than the zippers on my average clothes. So on my trip, I won't have to worry about breaking these zippers. The reason I'm so obsessed with zippers is that they keep most of the water (from rain and rivers) outside. I'm confident this cover will get the job done.

3. Most of the cover is fiber, not leather. I know a lot of people would prefer leather, but I like fiber, because most leather can't stand hard scratches. Fiber usually can.

4. The Marware zipper handles are very nice. They are soft, durable, and smooth. I would describe it as one of quality and careful design.

Now, for the two minor design flaws:

1. If you wish to place your kindle touch upright and apply the hand strap to your left hand, you'll be seriously disappointed. The reason is that the cover doesn't fold back properly; when you hold it with your left hand, you'll be forced to exert additional force to keep it folded. (I'm left handed, so it is a big problem for me). Someone has suggested doing fold-and-zip. While this can certainly be done (I've tried it, and it worked), it cannot be done without effort, because the zippers are pulled backwards. Also, since the zipper handles will be zipped to the inside after this is done, unzipping the cover takes lots of effort and endangers your zipper to breaking (I did not break mine on the first try, but I know the zippers pull weirdly when I tried to unzip it from the fold-and-zip). Clearly, Marware did not design the cover to be used this way.

The only real solutions are to hold it with your right hand or insert the kindle touch bottom-up, since you will then be holding the cover by its zippered edges, allowing your thumb 's natural position to push the cover down (I've experimented with it, and this really works without intentionally exerting any additional force).

*** NOTE: both the fold-and-zip and my solutions will leave a bend mark on the leather piece.

2. Even without a kindle touch in it, this cover's side pocket is very tight, so extracting almost anything from the pocket will prove difficult without tools. This renders the side pocket useless (I wanted to use it as a substitute for my wallet, but I had to change my mind).

Even with these minor flaws, this is a great cover that serves the purposes of both being comprehensively protective and looking nice. I would definitely recommend this to any kindle touch user. Excellent work, Marware!

*** UPDATE, with the actual kindle touch:

The side pocket doesn't feel any different with the kindle touch; however, it is still too tight to be useful.

The kindle touch fits perfectly, and the cover zippers can still zip and unzip without any trouble.

After folding the cover and making the kindle face up, the kindle touch's weight is enough to keep the cover folded.

My right hand hand strap method works, and my thumb will not touch the kindle touch screen when I use the method. It works even when I take the cover-and-kindle facing down.

Plugging the charger into the kindle touch can be slightly troublesome, since the cover bends up on the sides and can get in the way. (Pushing the cover's sides down works.

The cover has two zipper handles, so you can zip the cover even while charging.

One of the complaints about the Marware Jurni Kindle cases is that they don't lie flat. The solution appears to be running the zipper partially back once you open the case. The illustration in the Amazon listing even shows this.

However, when you look at other Marware products and read the reviews, you might come to the conclusion that the company doesn't always "get it". The reverse zipper trick is a bit of a "The dog ate my homework" excuse. If Marware had intended the case to work this way, they would have used the kind of zipper pulls that can be moved from one side of the slider to the other. My guess is that they designed it, has the cases made overseas, and when they got their hands on the production models, got that sinking feeling that comes with realizing you messed up.

You CAN make this case work properly and fold open without a lot of effort. Just take a sharp knife or good embroidery scissors and cut away the fake leather hinge piece. Work carefully on the threads that stitch the hinge to the cover and pull the piece away a little at a time. You'll be rid of it in a few minutes. It does leave some unfinished looking areas on the case, but it FUNCTIONS like it was supposed to, and the zippered pocket on the outside is actually usable.

The Jurni is just another Marware design with problems. In this case, the back "hinge" piece is made of materials that are too stiff, and want to fight back at you. Marware may have forgotten (or may have never known) that for many of the activities undertaken by Kindle users, the ability of the Kindle to lie flat is important -otherwise you might as well be reading a paper book.

I would be happy to trade my (now fixed) Kindle Fire Jurni with a truly functional production model, should Marware ever fess up and get this thing fixed.

Buy Marware jurni Kindle Case Cover, Red (fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, and Kindle Touch) Now

I was looking for something that was durable and adequately protected my Kindle, and this works beautifully! As another reviewer pointed out, the cover doesn't stay open well, but if you bend it back and slightly zip the cover closed, the cover will stay open.

It's about 1 in. thick, but it's still small enough to fit in my purse. I'm very happy with this purchase!

EDIT: Since I've been using this with my new Kindle Touch, I've noticed that the cover is more flexible now and doesn't require me zipping it to stay open! Also, the side pocket (as other have pointed out) is pretty useless. I tried to put the power cord in there...no go. I can see how CC would fit, but honestly I would be scared I couldn't get them back out! I still give it 5 stars because it fits my Kindle Touch so well. I can turn it on and charge it without having to remove it from the cover.

Read Best Reviews of Marware jurni Kindle Case Cover, Red (fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, and Kindle Touch) Here

I have read all of the other reviews for this cover, and I think I may offer another point of view.

First of all, to the people who say their Kindle's do not fit in this cover/case; it is made for the Kindle and Kindle touch. If you own a Kindle keyboard, then you need to look at Marware's case for that model.

For those who say that the hand strap is useless, you are just being overly critical. If you take an extra 30 seconds, you can fold the case over and zip it shut and it works perfectly. The zippers are not reversible, but it can be done with a little care.

The pocket is very tight, and really will only hold a card maybe, but that is why I have a wallet so I am not really concerned.

All in all, I am very pleased with this case. It holds my Kindle touch very snugly, and it is quick and easy to take in and out if need be. The case is strong enough so that I am not worried about my Kindle getting damaged by normal use at all. I love the hand strap when I am reading, and it can be used with either hand. The design may not be perfect, but I think it does what it is meant to do. I am not claiming that they have every bug worked out, but to quite honest, to fix the all the imperfections would make this product more bulky and less attractive.

Want Marware jurni Kindle Case Cover, Red (fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, and Kindle Touch) Discount?

I read the reviews for this product, and almost didn't buy it, but I'm glad I did. I carry my Kindle in my bag to school, and wanted something that would potect it from getting smashed or spilled on. The other covers, with their open sides, were not what I really wanted.

No, the pocket is not really big enough to carry much, but that's why I have a purse and a bag. I did not try to fold back the cover and zip it, as some have done, but I really don't intend to use the hand pocket. I am already capable of holding my Kindle, I just wanted something to protect it. The Kindle fits snugly in the inside, not too loose, not too tight. I used the special offer from my Kindle and got this cover for half price, which makes it an even better deal. I am extremely pleased!

When I looked at the picture, the product looked bulky. I ultimately decided a little bulk was worth the added protection. I was happily surprised when I opened the package, and the cover was slim and sleek. Before I purchased this, I was carrying around my Kindle in the original packaging. This case is an improvement on SOOO many levels!

13.3 inch Hot Pink Fuchsia Café in Paris Notebook Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case for Apple MacBook 13 and 13 inch ComputerI love my case. It is even better then it looks online. I get so many complicates on it at school.

The 13.3 inch Hot Pink Fuchsia Cafe in Paris Notebook Laptop Sleeve Case is great! It was purchased for our daughter's laptop for school. During our search for school supplies we noticed that there are not many laptop cases out there with designs on them, most of them that were found in local retailers were just plain. Our daughter commented how did we ever find such a great looking case. We just told her that we have special connections, lol. I would recommend seller and purchase from seller again.

I bought this for a friend and myself, her choice of this one or one nearly identical but different colors rated elsewhere, for our MacBook Air/ iPads. I suspect it will handle both with ease but I don't know that for a fact as yet. The side pocket should be able to fit the iPad ok. The first gen iPad fits ok without a cover but I haven't a MacBook Air to try it with to see if that fits with the iPad in the side pocket. The second, third and fourth Gen iPads are thinner so they should fit just fine in either the inside or outside pockets.

I bought this for my 3rd Gen iPad with a Logitech flat BlueTooth keyboard made for the iPad which both together fit nicely in the main pocket. Exactly as intended. The colors of this one match perfectly with the red Logitech Keyboard for the iPad and by the way is the one I'll keep. My friend gets the other one.

I made a great choice. Good price and was delivered a little ahead of schedule on Super Saver Shipping.

I recently bought the new Macbook Air 11" 2012 and was looking for a cute case. It's my first Macbook and I was a previous PC user. I saw this and it was really cute. But, after buying it I saw a lot of reviews saying that zipper cases can leave scratches/marks on your laptop. Thus, I decided to return it. Overall this is a good product. It's padded well on the inside that protects your laptop. But, I just got a little paranoid that it might end up leaving marks on my laptop. Even though I would carefully take it out of the case, the zipper lining would go against my laptop.

Heavy Duty Clear Backpack

Heavy Duty Clear BackpackIt is pretty heavy duty and the zippers are also heavy duty. I feel comfortable loading it with lots of heavy stuff and the handles don't look like they are going to fall off. I like it.

Just started using this but it's the perfect size for my gym class and it seems very sturdy. As long as it is durable over time I will be very happy!

The backpack seems to be fairly heavy duty, but the zipper is tough to open and close. I wonder how long it will be before the zipper breaks on this backpack

This backpack turned out to be an excellent choice. We purchased this to replace the mesh backpack that lasted all of 4-5 weeks for this school year.

Lewis N Clark Ergo Digital Luggage Scale

Balanzza Digital Compact Airline Luggage ScaleThis is a great idea, if it worked. First, the batteries don't stay in properly. You have to hold the door closed. The batteries it came with were dead, so I bought new ones. They don't work either, which tells me it's the unit itself. It's of no value if it doesn't work!

Great idea, my wife travles and of course always packs the maximum weight allowed. I bought her this thing and she loved it! (I think better than opal ring..LOL) Great stocking stuffer idea for that travler in your life!

This scale is very compact, so there should be no problem to carry it. Turn it on, hook it up to your luggage handle and lift, in a second or two you will hear the "beep" telling you it's done. Really easy!

Kiva Key Chain Pack

KIva Key Chain Pack-black Scrollits really handy when i'm going to parks where i know i'm going to be buying lots, but dont want to carry it.

its tiny and convinient.

the only problem is it is a bit flimsy so you cant carry heavy things with it often. but to carry free toys and flyers and coupons that you pick up while walking a festival, its ideal.

Overall i think 3 stars is probably generous given the amount of time I have spent fixing a new piece of equipment.

Nice little pack to carry in your pocket; however, after only a few days of very light use (maybe 3-4 lbs) the stitching is coming undone in several places. There is a one inch long hole at the seam on top of the bag and i think one of the shoulder straps will fall off soon (the hole is separate from the strap, there are two independent places where the stitching is coming up). The stitching on the entire bag is fairly mediocre.

Also, the plastic clips that allow the shoulder straps to adjust are loose/broken. Just carrying a change of clothes causes the plastic adjustment to let the shoulder strap lengthen itself until the bag falls off your back. This can be fixed by removing the plastic clip and tying the straps together which makes the shoulder strap not so easily adjustable.

You simply get a tough, lightweight, smallish backpack to fold into a keychain sized pouch, so if you are looking for more than that, go elsewhere. BUT should you want a handy little bag you ca take everywhere and pull it out when you need it, this bag is GREAT. It was recently indispensable when travelling and we rented mopedsI threw everything I needed in there and had my hands free. Note the straps are lightweightalmost like ribbons, and they adjust, but don't always stay put! I also bought the tote but end up using this all the time. Overall, a unique product that's worth it.

This small, portable backpack is useful for everything from day hiking trips to school and work days. Light, flexible, but strong enough for regular use.

I have about a dozen of the Kiva foldable keychain shopper bags, which I love, but I was very disappointed in the backpack. The straps are not only thin and fragile, they come loose from the buckles constantly, even when knotted, rendering the backpack useless.
