Voltaic Systems 1022 Array Solar Laptop Charger Backpack, Silver
1) Sturdy, enviro-friendly backpack has plenty of storage space for commuting or weekend trips. Lots of panels and compartments including a padded laptop section so you can easily view and access your 'stuff'. The Solar panel section can zip-on and zip-off. It neatly houses the battery, connector tips, and an AC power cord (for optionally recharging the battery from a wall socket). Still it is all very lightweight especially compared to my rolling backpack the other 'must-have' I recommend for road warrior equipment. The front badge (red plastic icon) is powered by the panel so you can get a visible red light when the solar panel is exposed to sun.
2) Super Battery! This has got to be one of the most powerful batteries available in such a compact form factor. I have used this battery on my 2+ hr commute to power my 'phablet' and modem. I have yet to manage to drain it on a trip. I haven't needed it yet for my Macbook Air, since the battery lasts several hours, but I have no doubt it will serve either buy a magsafe adapter from voltaic, or use a magsafe-auto/truck power converter available here on amazon. I chose the DC cigarette lighter converter, so I'll have more options for power sources.
3) Super Solar Panel! Well constructed and sturdy outer panel can either charge the included battery, or charge up to 2 devices at once. You can power or charge a typical 5v smartphone device, plus a more power-hungry 12 or 18v device while the sun's up.
I can't say enough good things about this backpack, because it perfectly fits my particular need and addresses my power-insecurities in a "green" way. I plan to purchase another for a friend who lives in the tropics where getting consistent power is often a problem.
Don't let another storm or "wall-socket-less" outing find you without a setup like this. I write this as another 3-day blizzard approaches, confident this power-setup can get me through the expected "72-hour black-out".
PLEASE NOTE: Both the panel and the battery supply DC output. So if you plan to charge a laptop, make sure it accepts DC power (apparently some laptops like Dell will run off it, but not charge off it). If you have questions you should contact the folks at voltaic dot com before your purchase. There's an instruction sheet included, so it takes about 10 minutes to educate yourself on the full setup super straightforward. Just check the requirements of the devices you want to charge.I liken this purchase to purchasing your first brand new vehicle.. you've done your study on the car and when you purchase for the first time you are nervous, anxious, and excited.. the same feeling applys to the purchase of this bag. . it exceeded what I anticipated.. theres nothing like walking around with electricity on your back to power your electronics. . 5 star rate! excellent!

I was looking for a backpack and needed it to be at least rain proof and this one fit the bill very nicely. As a plus is very spacious and rugged The solar panels worked very well and did charge the battery as advertised. I used it with my Beats Pill, Samsung Galaxy S1 and 15in laptop and worked well. It has 3 different voltage modes.Shipping was FAST.
The only con that I had is that It wont charge my Black Berry phone and some 17in laptops computers. For some gadgets you will need to by a separate adapter (like for the PSP) but at lease their are not too expensive.
In all I'm pleased with my purchased and ppl are very curious about seeing a backpack with solar panels. They think its from another world lol.

MyGift 15 inch Fascinating Peacock Notebook Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case for most of MacBook, Ac
It fits great on any 15.whatever inch laptop. This product arrived in a timely manner, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The peacock is beautiful. Fits my 15 inch laptop plus charger and a few small accesories. I recomend it.Some reviews say it is too big, but it was perfect for my 15" Sony Vaio. Good Job:) Fits well, it is beautiful and reasonable price. Also arrived on time. This fits my new HP laptop like a glove, it's not too bulky, with the right amount of protection to slip into a large tote bag.It is WAY to big for a 15 inch macbook. If you want a nice snug, protective fit, buy something else. It is also rather thin.
I got the case, and thought it was so pretty that I decided to keep it and buy a smaller case to put inside of it. I figure for a $2,500 piece of equipment, more protection can't hurt. That is just what I did.
Deuter Speed Lite 20
1 negative-Too many straps! the 2 straps on each side are a bit overkill and not really nessesary in my opinion. They tend to hang out all over the place. But I just cut them off as I never used them, and problem solved. The waist strap is detatchable so thats ok.
Excellent bag, I previously owned a Deuter back pack and it lasted me about 10 years without a problem, this one has the same high quality feel and I reckon it will last just as long. The amount of things you can do with this pack
is crazy! I had expectations because of all the research I did
on it before ordering it, but I ended up getting more then
expected! it fits everything I like for all day hikes including all
my emergency extras I never use but must haves incase any
changes or emergencies haha and my 3 liter bladder. living in Tahoe we love backpacking
hiking biking and this pack keeps up with it all! it also fits into
the bladder pockets of our backpacking packs cause of its
material. The straps on the outside make it 10 times nicer letting
you carry more things, probably enough for an overnighter in the summer, they
can remain on the outside like the pic shows or can buckle them across
the front of the pack, can carry winter equipment(backcountry). The
removable strap you buckle across the waist isn't too comfortable but
I got used to it! great day pack for sure!!I think it ix great, its eerything it said it would be and everything i was looking for therefore I am satisfied. I bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I dont quite knoiw what else to say. If you think you'll like it; you will. If you have doubts dont get it.This pack is listed as a day pack. Well, I guess if your day is a walk in the park for 30 minutes it would be OK. Not in the Eastern Sierra where a day hike can be up to 12-15 miles in rugged terrain. You need to be able to carry a lot more than this pack can.It was about the same size as my Camelback, which is small. Also the straps are narrow and there is no way to tie down anything on the pack. The quality is good, it's just to small.

This is a wonderful backpack. It's made of a sturdy material that doesn't rip. It'll hold 3 college textbooks and a laptop in the main compartment, although it is a tight fit (and that is my ONLY complaint, I wish the main pocket was larger). The "lined sunglasses pocket" is great for storing anything small enough you don't want to toss it in either larger pocket or the two water bottle holders (I store pencils and my phone in it during class).Read Best Reviews of Dakine 26-Litre Hana Pack Here

Ibex 17 Inch Notebook Backpack
If anyone can find the removable pouch, let me know.
Down to the proper review:
There's no point repeating all the great features mentioned by others. You've read the other reviews: you know all about the fact that it's pretty much the only bag guaranteed to fit the large 17" laptops. In fact Dell sell it on their website as a bag that fits their 17inchers.
Here's a feature no one else has mentioned so far: unlike the Columbia Cyberpack, it has a plastic [fake leather] waterproof base so u can confidently place it on a wet/messy floor.
Someone mentioned the zippers not having zipper flaps to stop rain getting in. But we all know that those flaps over the zips can be awkward. I'm looking at my bag right now and i can see that there are flaps BENEATH the zipper on each side. So for rain to get in, it would have to get thru the zipper then thru the flap/ribbing directly [like 3mm] underneath. It's hard to describe what it is but it is water proof material beneath each side of the zip that closes together like drawn curtains when the zip is zippered shut.
NOT MENTIONED B4:
One nice visual aid is that the zippers for the main compartment are noticeably bigger than the others.
Also there is an apparently flimsy handle at the back behind the main handle. It's to hang the empty/lightly filled bag up on a hook. It took me about a minute to work out what it was for. :O
btw: the main handle is totally over-engineered but gorgeous: it is a very soft plastic and fabric handle surrounding a a steel wire handle which is itself coated in plastic. It's one mean looking handle.
One thing, I've noticed is that one of the shoulder straps is loose around the length adjuster and i have to keep tightening it up or the one for the right shoulder keeps getting longer and longer. I'm thinking of stitching it into the desired position but because i go to the gym and have aspirations of getting an upper body like John Cena's, i fear that if i stitch the shoulder straps into the present desired position that when [not if ;)] i get huge it would no longer fit across my back and I'd have to unstitch the straps and readjust to fit around my hopefully huge back. As you can imagine: i hope i do encounter this problem. It would be a small price to pay for looking like John Cena. ;)
btw: In comparison with the Columbia Cyberpack [a laptop backpack for up to 15-Inchers], that i also own, it doesn't have the Cyberpack's reflective elements useful for when walking at night.
Perhaps the quick pocket [the red-lined pouch near the handle] should have been made of luminous material on it's inside [instead of the red lining] to help find things in the dark when outside. I suggest keeping a small torch inside the small pocket inside the quick pocket.
The organiser/organizer panel in the front compartment elicits mixed feelings:
Pros:
I has two slots for credit cards. Good
A good mesh pocket to hold a battery powered shaver.
A good pen holding pocket.
Cons:
It has three pockets. good. but they are on top of each other so if you use all three it cause a bit of a bulge in the front pocket.
Also, there is a clip for key rings but the thing it so short it's hard to find and a lot more awkward than what it should be.
I suggest buying the "Victorinox 1679500 Army Knife Swiss Champ" to fit in the organiser panel. It has a pocket to fit it.
SUMMARY OF POCKETS/COMPARTMENTS:
TEN EXTERNAL COMPARTMENTS/POCKETS:
U CAN SEE THEM FOR YOURSELVES. :) But you'd have to go on other websites. So here is a summary:
1: front compartment [contains organiser panel]
2: book compartment [directly behind front compartment]
3: main bag compartment [behind book compartment]
4: a top 'quick pocket' deep enough to fit an open hand in up to your wrist
5: laptop compartment
6: left mesh pocket [un-zippered]
7: right mesh pocket [un-zippered]
8: left diagonal side pocket
9: right diagonal side pocket
10: pocket on the left shoulder strap that is good for holding a small mobile phone, mp3 player etc. I find it very useful to put a bus ticket in.
ORGANISER PANEL [INSIDE FRONT COMPARTMENT][a group of small pockets for stationary etc]:
* LEFT POCKET: holds pens and has two slots for credit card sized cards
* CENTRE TRIPLE DECKER POCKET: three pockets on top of each other
* RIGHT MESH POCKET: large enough to hold a small shaver
* red zippered pocket behind the organiser panel
* hidden key ring clip [A SORT OF BAG EQUIVALENT OF A DVD EASTER EGG ;)]
FIVE INTERNAL POCKETS [THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ORGANISER PANEL] [HIDDEN EXTRAS]:
1: zippered mesh pocket inside book compartment
2: document/magazine pocket inside the main compartment
3: small pocket inside the top 'quick pocket' near the handle. [with an exit for mp3 player head/earphones]
4: document pocket inside the laptop compartment [I SUGGEST NOT PUTTING TOO MUCH IN THERE COZ IT MIGHT PRESS AGAINST THE LAPTOP SCREEN-LID.]
5: small zippered mesh pocket inside top of laptop compartment. There are two problems I have had with notebook backpacks in the past. Number one was, that they say to be 17 inch compatible, but they actually do not fit larger than average 17 inch notebooks. Rest assured that this backpack will even fit the largest 17 inch laptops. I can fit the Dell XPS into it with no problems. The zipper line does not lie tensely over the corners of the notebook and does not create scratches.
Number two is the quality of the zippers. The zippers have to run smoothly, easily, and not come apart, split open, get stuck, or display other annoying dysfunctions. The zippers on this pack are of very good quality.
There is tons of auxiliary storage space. If I had a say in it, the shoulder straps could have a little more padding, but since it fits my large notebook, I will not deduct any stars this time.

This back pack is very good. Well made, sturdy for carrying all the weight. The two items missing that keep this from being a 5 star review are: no waist strap, With all this wieght in the pack this would help alot. 2nd is no rain flaps on the zippers. I am in Seattle and I am concerned over rain getting into the bag on the long daily commute.17.5 inch laptop (10lbs) 4lb power brick. plus lunch, note book, paper work, coffee thermos, Oracle manual, Reading book. Yep, alot fits in this while staying compact.

This Ibex backpack is the very best backpack on the market for a 17" laptop, but it's slightly disappointing when you compare it side-by-side with the 15" Synergy backpack from this VERY SAME COMPANY! I don't understand why Wengar Swiss Gear doesn't simply make a 17" version of the Synergy backpack?Right off the bat, I was disappointed to find out that this 17" backpack has FEWER POCKETS AND STORAGE COMPARTMENTS than the 15" backpack. How is that possible for a bag that's supposed to carry a LARGER laptop? My biggest disappointment, however, was that there is NO SMALL ZIPPER POCKET on the very front of the frontmost pocket. This pocket was so handy for quickly throwing in airplane tickets or itineraries or anything else that you need to grab quickly. Next, the zipper pockets on the 2 sides are absolutely tiny and can barely hold a pack of gum. Compare this with the 15" backpack, which has HUGE zipper pockets on the sides which stretch all the way down the side of the backpack... I used to store my digital camera and other big items in those side pockets.
However, after using this backpack for 2 years, I have grown to love it and I have yet to find any other backpacks that are BETTER than this one. So this is absolutely the best backpack on the market, but there's always room for improvement! :)

I'm ambivalent about this review. The pros are that this backpack has a lot of room and carries everything well.
The cons are signficant.
1) if you are a semi-muscular person, the shoulder straps could hurt. The one thing that other owners of this knapsack have commented on is that this problem could be solved if Wenger had just put cross strap that crosses in front of one's chest and connects the two shoulder straps.
2) one of the shoulder straps has a place for a cell phone. There are a couple of problems with it. First, it is way too narrow to fit a smartphone (e.g. an iPhone or a BlackBerry). It can only fit an old-fashioned cell phone (i.e. a non-smartphone). Second, the bottom of this cell phone holder is a major weak spot for the knapsack. It broke apart after a month. The worst thing is that I've seen this exact same problem on several different Wenger backpacks.
3) the other shoulder strap has completely fallen apart.
Wenger needs to redesign the shoulder straps for their backpacks. They have a great product otherwise, but since many people are carrying laptops in their backpacks, shoulder straps that break apart endanger laptops. In contrast, I've had an L.L. Bean backpack for 10 years and have put them same amount of stuff in it. The shoulder straps are still intact, however, the Wenger backpack has better aesthetics.
NOTE: I have to write an update. If you want absolutely great customer service, then Wenger is the company. I went to their website and found the email address for the Warranty Department. I sent an email and they responded within 30 minutes. They asked for some readily available information and a few pics of the problem. I sent it to them and they responded within 30 minutes that I needed to pay $10 for shipping and handling by PayPal. I did this and they again sent me a reply email within 30 minutes that a replacement backpack was going to be sent to me. I received it the very next day. I did not have to waste any time or energy sending back the defective backpack, and now I have a perfect knapsack again. Wow! Truly A+ customer service.
I'm still unsure about the quality of this item, but no other company I've ever dealt with has the customer service of Wenger. This company totally deserves its excellent reputation.
If this backpack holds up, then I will revise and give it far more stars.

Badlands 2200 Backpack
Buy Badlands 2200 Backpack Now
I purchased the 2200 last September for a Wyoming deer hunt. I loved almost everything about this pack. The bad: a) the flap pockets are not wide and big enough to hold a compact spotting scope. I had a difficult time storing and removing my compact spotting scope, a Nikon ED 50 straight field scope, without the tripod attached; b) The two compression straps attached to the folding compartments are too far apart to properly compress any type of load being carried inside of the flaps; and, c) SHORT and MEDIUM framed individuals beware! This pack was designed for tall men or men with long upper body torsos. I am 5'9& tall and the pack did not fit well. I have many different brand backpacks and have always used packs with mid-sized frames; however, there was no way of properly adjusting the pack to fit my torso. Aside from the above, this is great pack with nice features. I sold my 2200 to a friend, who is 6' tall, and he absolutely loves it. I recently tried on a Badlands 2800 and it fits my shorter torso much better so I will be buying 2800 as soon as Badlands announces their 2013 lineup. Its a good pack. I would have liked more pockets. The side pockets don't reach far enough around that I can take stuff out when the pack is on.Quality materials and function. Great pocket layout; I ike the one shoulder use and ease of access without setting it down.Kiva Key Chain Pack
its tiny and convinient.
the only problem is it is a bit flimsy so you cant carry heavy things with it often. but to carry free toys and flyers and coupons that you pick up while walking a festival, its ideal.Overall i think 3 stars is probably generous given the amount of time I have spent fixing a new piece of equipment.
Nice little pack to carry in your pocket; however, after only a few days of very light use (maybe 3-4 lbs) the stitching is coming undone in several places. There is a one inch long hole at the seam on top of the bag and i think one of the shoulder straps will fall off soon (the hole is separate from the strap, there are two independent places where the stitching is coming up). The stitching on the entire bag is fairly mediocre.
Also, the plastic clips that allow the shoulder straps to adjust are loose/broken. Just carrying a change of clothes causes the plastic adjustment to let the shoulder strap lengthen itself until the bag falls off your back. This can be fixed by removing the plastic clip and tying the straps together which makes the shoulder strap not so easily adjustable. You simply get a tough, lightweight, smallish backpack to fold into a keychain sized pouch, so if you are looking for more than that, go elsewhere. BUT should you want a handy little bag you ca take everywhere and pull it out when you need it, this bag is GREAT. It was recently indispensable when travelling and we rented mopedsI threw everything I needed in there and had my hands free. Note the straps are lightweightalmost like ribbons, and they adjust, but don't always stay put! I also bought the tote but end up using this all the time. Overall, a unique product that's worth it.This small, portable backpack is useful for everything from day hiking trips to school and work days. Light, flexible, but strong enough for regular use.I have about a dozen of the Kiva foldable keychain shopper bags, which I love, but I was very disappointed in the backpack. The straps are not only thin and fragile, they come loose from the buckles constantly, even when knotted, rendering the backpack useless.

Ohmetric 30074 Notebook Briefcase with Removable Workstation and Organizer
After 6 months the magnet holders slipped but that was minor. After a year and a half the zipper broke rendering the case useless. I wrote to the company, sent a photo, offered to send them the case but they never responded. Design 5 star, construction 0.They thought of everything with this bag. My netbook and all the cords are easily accessible and compartmentalized. There are nifty pockets for all of the stuff you are likely to need, and the logical arrangement keeps everything organized.
The best features are that the bag slides over the handle of your carry-on suitcase, so you don't have to lug it on your shoulder through the airport. The other feature is one that you wouldn't think important until you actually see it in action. That is the light green lining. You will never lose something in the bottom of the bag again, because it is so easy to see. The hidden zippered pocket is also appreciated. I don't use the laptop "table," but it is completely removable and I just don't take it with me when I travel.
