This product appears to be sturdy and waterproof. The only aspect that I would like different is the Velcro flap. There is not enough flap there to securely fasten to the Velcro. Only about an eight of an inch of Velcro meets to seal the flap.

Case Logic 15.6" Laptop and Tablet Case

Was looking for a new case and stumbled upon this once by chance. It is a perfect fit for my laptop, mouse, tablet, external hd, external power supply & cords. Even with all this stuff it did not make the case bulky in shape which is great when i travel. Best case I've had hands down.

ѾѾѾѾ Recommended with warm fuzzies (but better suited for laptops with compact slim AC adapters).

The first thing that I noticed about this laptop briefcase was how light and slim it was. This briefcase only weighs 21 ounces (1 pound 5 ounces), including the shoulder strap, which is lighter than many laptop bags. The exterior feels like soft neoprene while all interiors are lined with nylon. The main laptop compartment has dimensions of 15.25 inches wide and 11.25 inches deep, and can accomodate a laptop of 15.2"x10.5"x1.7". Inside the main laptop compartment is an 8.0-inch wide sleeve that perfectly fits my iPad 2. My iPad 2 is covered with the excellent Targus VuScape Protective Cover/Stand for Apple iPad 2 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, WiFi and WiFi + 3G THZ044US (Black/Blue Interior), and this interior tablet sleeve is nicely sized to hold my iPad securely with the Targus cover left on. The Targus cover doubles the thickness of the iPad to 0.7 inches thick, but it will still easily fit inside the tablet sleeve.

Because the briefcase is fairly slim, however, storing the iPad with its Targus cover, my Dell 15-inch laptop, and the Dell's chunky AC adapter made for a very snug fit. I initially stored the AC adapter vertically along one edge of the laptop compartment, but, even then, it zipped up into a bulging compartment that also put extra strain on the main zipper. Finally, I decided that it was just easier to carry the AC adapter in the outside zippered compartment. This creates a bulging outer pocket, but it is easier and quicker to store the AC adapter in the outer compartment than to arrange it each time vertically squeezed into one side of the main laptop compartment. And with my AC adapter squeezed inside the main compartment, I worried about straining the main compartment's zipper too much. The outside zippered compartment is almost as wide and high as the main laptop compartment, albeit not as deep. The inside wall of this outside zippered compartment has another zippered pocket that is as wide as the main briefcase and can also hold a tablet, and I sometimes store my iPad inside this pocket instead. This outer pocket may be used as a tablet storage option if you have a thicker laptop and you need extra room inside the main laptop compartment. The rear of the briefcase has a small zippered pocket and a trolley pass-through sleeve for slipping this briefcase onto the pull-handle of another luggage.

The included shoulder strap is comfortable. However, I would have much preferred that the shoulder strap used metal clips. Instead, the shoulder strap uses plastic clips that clip onto plastic D-rings on the briefcase. While I prefer metal D-rings instead of plastic D-rings for durability, I really dislike these kinds of plastic shoulder strap clips when used on a briefcase that is carrying the weight of a laptop (and tablet). And over time, the plastic clips can fatigue and bend or break after repeatedly attaching/detaching the shoulder strap by pressing down on the plastic, or by the weight of the loaded briefcase repeatedly straining the J-shaped hook of the plastic clips.

Overall, this is a good basic nicely-styled briefcase for a 15-inch laptop. The tablet storage sleeve feature is nice, but since many laptop bags and briefcases already have extra zippered compartments that can separately store a tablet anyway, I think that this tablet sleeve feature only adds a moderate amount of uniqueness to the design. This is a fine briefcase for carrying back and forth between the office or coffee shop. But in my opinion, it is too lightweight, not padded enough, and not roomy enough to take with me on business trips, air flights, and travel outings. And if your laptop uses an AC adapter that is like a small brick (like my Dell AC adapter), you either have to *squeeze* it into this sleek briefcase's main laptop compartment or keep it in the outside zippered compartment; in both cases, this briefcase's slim profile then no longer looks sleek and bulges outward. Even thin 15-inch Ultrabook laptops often have somewhat chunky AC adapters.

If your 15-inch or smaller laptop uses a slim compact AC adapter and you do not need to carry various other folders/binders, mice, and laptop peripherals, then this briefcase can be quickly packed and retain its nice sleek look, and this briefcase may work just fine for you. But for my needs, especially when traveling through airports, the main interior laptop compartment of this briefcase really needed to be an additional quarter-inch wider/thicker inside it so I could store my AC adapter brick vertically inside without having the nylon/neoprene bulge outward. For carrying my laptop to the office, I can just quickly store my mouse and other peripherals in the outside zippered compartment, which adds protruding bulges to this outside pocket. But when traveling, and for extra protection, I would rather have enough room inside the briefcase to store my mouse.

So I rate this briefcase 4 stars mainly for people who do not have a thick chunky AC adapter and who do not need to carry a larger-sized mouse or too many other peripherals or folders/books/papers. For those people, this is a great briefcase with a slim profile and a light weight. But for my own use, this briefcase is a bit too slim, and if it was just an extra quarter-inch wider/thicker in its main laptop compartment, I would have then rated it 5 stars.

I have been looking for a long time for a study messenger bag that would be the right size for me to take to work or school everyday. I was so happy when I finally found this bag. It has a very study construction and I am able to carry my laptop, lunch, notebook, and a textbook or two comfortably. Many other bags I looked at were either too thin to hold much (just designed for a laptop) or were so huge I couldn't imagine carrying it around on a daily basis. This bag is just right. The adjustable strap ensures that the bag hangs at just the right height to make it comfortable. I also liked the darker canvas color as it makes the bag look a bit more professional than the other canvas bags. I had originally ordered the same bag in the olive color but did not like it (looked much darker than the photo) and was so glad that I returned it for this color. My only complaint is that there are only 3 pockets: one small side zipper pocket and two large front pockets. The front pockets are really big and stuff gets lost in there so there isn't a great place to put pens or a cell phone. Guess you can't have everything. Overall, I have been using this bag for a couple months and it has become my go-to bag and still looks good as new.

My daughter picked this bag out for her 7th grade bookbag/backpack for back to school.....within 3 weeks the straps were falling off, I had to re-sew and reinforce all the straps. 3-4 weeks later the straps were coming off again, the main clasp had fallen off, AND the entire bag was frayed/shredded all over....it's made of a cheap-ish, nylon-type of material that just cannot stand up to school use. It is now in the trash before one academic quarter has ended! We bought the LL Bean messenger bag, which we should have done to begin with made of a much sturdier canvas, not nylon, and obviously super-sturdy like their backpacks, which have never failed throughout many years of abuse from my grade-schoolers. This bag could possibly be OK if you plan on not putting anything in it or taking it anywhere....but if you want a reliable, sturdy bag, please save your money and look elsewhere.

This bag looked like it was very sturdy made and would last the entire school year for my daughter at college. Well, she is still carrying it, but it is virtually falling apart and it looks like it was uncovered at some archaeology digsite. That means it lasted all of 6 weeks. Not good. I have purchased eight pieces of Disney rolling luggage. One in this pattern.

Your Merida fan will love this case. The sides are a glittery teal colored vinyl. The Merida pattern on the front of the case is a tad dark for my taste. But, the movie color scale was a bit dark too, so this is a fit.

The online disneystore is sold out of this style. However, they do have many other complimentary Merida items that could be paired with this luggage.

This luggage works well as a carry on, but would probably be destroyed as checked baggage. This luggage is great for a weekend trip or simply as a toy hauler.

There are no pockets inside this luggage. We have discovered that three medium size ebags packing cubes fit perfectly in this case. Ebags packing cubes are available on Amazon and direct at ebags online. The Aquamarine colored ebags would be a nice match for the Merida case. The small or slim ebags packing cubes would also work well with this case.

My granddaughters all love their Disney rolling luggage. Even the 2 year old can push her own. Insists on it in fact. "I do it!"

This luggage is great, however the outside finish does scrape with the "handling" it recieves from airport personnel. My one piece of the 3 piece set made to Japan, Costa Rica, and Hawaii before it was finally smashed on a trip to Philly. Then the airlines replaced it, so now I'm good to go! Moves easily with little effort, and is incredibilly light. It's also fun, I always smiile when I see it coming around on the luggage carosel, and that's something my plain red hardcase never made me do.

Once spoke to someone who said they no longer do Heys warranty work and she gave me these other numbers.

This is a really nice backpack. We got this for our three year old niece who picked it out herself with our help on Amazon based on the pictures. It did not disappoint.

The backpack itself seems durable, a good size for a three year old and the Dora picture on the back is in a nice glossy reflective print that our niece liked a lot.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter's third birthday. She loves it! It has very vibrant colors. Pictures don't do it justice. When I opened the shipping box it came in, and saw the product, I thought it looked even nicer than it did online. It is a great size for a child at that age. It's not too big, but yet, it's still big enough to get quite a bit of use out of it while your child is growing. The only complaint I would have, is that it seems like the straps are not well-sewn onto the back pack itself. Hers are still intact (she's had it for about 4 weeks), but from the amount of stitching, I wonder how long the stitching will hold against wear and tear. This could be fixed easily if you're handy at sewing though. Overall, I like it and she loves it. This isn't something you can normally find in stores. So it was nice to receive something online that looked even better in person than how it was displayed online. Sometimes, online products can be deceiving, but this one was more than expected.

Piazza Torino Backpack

I bought the Crossbody bag and the Backpack, both in Terra Cotta and I don't know which I like better. I love them both. They are beautifully made-I have not found a loose or crooked stitch in either bag. I have paid more for designer bags that weren't made this nice. In the picture you can see tags on the zippers, each one of these and one inside were carefully wrapped for shipping, which shows the attention to detail that is used. There is also a cloth bag that comes with the bag that is for storage. These bags are truly impressive.

Updated 04/18/13-I was out eating pizza and had my Terra Cotta purse with me and some sauce fell. Luckily it did not hit my purse but was scary for a second there, it definitely would have stained my new bag. I came back and bought a Black backpack for everyday use. I wish they had a red one too. I'm a mom of 3, love the function of a backpack purse, but not always the "look". This one is great! The leather is incredibly soft, and the inside of the bag is roomier than it lets on. I can fit my big ole long wallet, camera, sunnies, lotion, with room to spare. I could fit a paperback book or kindle in there, as well. The zipper pockets are all pretty deep, but not deep enough on the front for my iphone 5. It sits nicely on my back and shoulders without drooping. The lining is cream with brown design, so easy to see things inside compared to a dark lining. The only downside is that the leather is so soft on the sides/bottom that it "slouches" when you set it down on the floor. But overall, very impressed with the lovely construction of the bag!

Have been using this for a week and am very happy. Just the right size (medium in size compared to others I have used). Absolutely love the way it sits on my back and straps are perfect length (am 5'6" with average frame). Also hangs from shoulder very nice. Overall, I love the backpack. The print is really pretty. The fabric that its made of is really durable and doesnt get dirty easily. The biggest complaint I have is that it doesn't have much room in the main pocket. I think the lack of depth may also be reason why it won't ever stand up straight when I set it down....oh well, I still like it :)

Dakine Explorer Pack

What a great looking product!! Comfortable to wear, catchy design but not something too loud (if you know what I mean..) I love the fact that my 15" Unibody MacBook Pro fits in it just right, and have plenty of space to put some magazines, tools, external hard drives, accesories for my iPhone, etc etc... it's just PERFECT for the people that likes low profile looking backpacks but with a good amount of space to actually make a use out of it.

I think this deserves a 4 out of 5 star rating due to the fact that it full-filled my need for a 17 inch carrying bag.

my 17 inch laptop fits very well with room on top for the cords. I like the design and love having the choice of the shoulder strap or the handles.(a minor thing is you can't zip all the way when using the handles since they come from the inside.) The feeling is smooth and gel-like however I wished it was thicker so I felt like is was well protected. I don't think I would want to travel too far or too long with my goods in it. Protection could be better but keep in mind this is a computer carrying sleeve and not a suitcase. I mentioned the design was very nice and I would say it works for man or woman but I wished it looked a little more like the picture with that pretty blue. In real life its darker almost like a midnight blue/purple with a purpleish swath in the middle but overall nice. Up close the design doesn't look like its cheap or cheesily done. I do recommend it for people looking for a backup case or a light travel carrier.

Good bag, well made, sturdy materials, water resistant, looks good, comfortable to use, light weight (when empty!), holds a lot of stuff, good features. Love the zip back pocket that holds documents, pens, my cell phone, wallet, etc. Zippers and pockets everywhere and I love that too. There are two deep large pockets on the front to hold my sunglasses and whatever I need to get to quickly. Easily accessible from the front without unzipping/velcro-ing/unbuckling, but deep enough that nothing falls out. 2 water bottle holders is very cool. Good bag at a good price.

What I had some trouble with and how I solved it:

1) There's an inner front flap full of pockets sewn to the top front edge of the bag under the cover. I love this, but If you put anything more than a couple of ounces in there the front edge of the bag collapses awkwardly. I solved this by cutting a piece of stiff plastic to fit, punched a couple of holes in the corners then got creative with a thin piece of webbing to tie this insert in place. I also attached that front flap of pockets to the plastic in the same way. Problem solved. This really should have been addressed by the bag designer.

2) My 15" laptop *almost* fit into the laptop pocket, but was too large by about 1/4". I could have returned the whole bag, but that's a pain in the butt. Instead I turned the bag inside out, pulled out the stitching on one side of the laptop pocket, moved the edge over to the inside seam of the bag and re-stitched it by hand. Laptop fit easily. No idea why the designer/manufacturer didn't do this in the first place and just add a little bit of padding on the corner to compensate. Took about 15 minutes was seemed easier, faster, cheaper than sending it back and searching for a different bag.

The Montezuma messenger bag that I purchased is strong, sturdy, and I like the color.

Pacsafe Luggage Camsafe Venture V16

It's surprising the amount of stuff you can put into this daypack: I can fit a Canon 5D with 24-70 attached, with lens hood + Blackrapid R5 strap all in the lower half camera compartment; and in the upper compartment one or two guidebooks + snacks. Plus a 70oz Camelpak in the back vertical laptop compartment so I don't have to keep buying expensive bottled waters.

I also like the versatility of the daypack that I can take out the lower camera compartment and turn it into one large compartment if needed.

4/5 stars for a well-designed, well-made product that I personally feel is a little pricey.

This Pacsafe will serve as my airplane travel camera bag it fits my laptop, tripod, and Nikon D-7000 comfortably along with miscellaneous camera accessories. The challenge comes in arranging my 3 Nikkor lenses (18-105mm, 105mm, 70-300mm) so they fit comfortably; but, it's do-able.

This is an excellent daypack/carry-on camera bag.

Recently took it as a carry-on and daypack on a two week international trip. No problems or complaints. The camera compartment held a Canon 60D with a 17-50mm f/2.8 attached lens, cleaning supplies, filters, two extra batteries, charger, extra memory cards, and camera strap. The laptop/hydration compartment held a 13" macbook air and an iPad. Upper compartment held sunglasses, headphones, guide book, travel wallet, and external battery/charger, with room left over for small souvenirs. The tripod holder also worked well for holding water bottles.

My only problem with this bag is the price. You are paying a significant premium for the security features. Despite this, I bought the bag for the extra security and peace of mind it would provide and I am happy with the purchase.
