When I first opened the package I thought that this case was too small. Yes, my long vga cable, cat6 ethernet cable weren't going to fitwhich turns out to be ok.I've loaded up this case with all the pieces and parts for almost any disasterI've got a 32gb thumbdrive with my backed up presentations, a mouse, my Apple adcvga adapter, usb cable, firewire cable, firewire adapter, an optical mouse, mini to mini cable for sound,spare batteries for my wireless presenter clicker, etc. All these things that used to rattle around my bag.
It keeps them all in placeand accessible. Considering my new "bum bum bag" doesn't have as many internal dividers as my old bagthis has been a godsend. Yes, I balked at the priceit's probably only worth $20-$25 which is why it's getting 4 instead of 5 starsbut, it seems well built and for me it's been worth it.
Going through airport checkpoints should be much easier nownever mind being able to find my stuff when I need it.

This organizer has changed my life. I bought the Skooba R750-300 Cable Stable DLX (Black) and soon had it filled with cords and chargers for my smart phone, my mp3 players, my computer and my Kindle. It's a little pricey, but well worth it because of the internal features like elastic holders and zippered pockets and it closes up into a nice little package with its own handle that will slide down in a briefcase or carry-on. If you're considering this one, take a look at Skooba Cable Stable Combo Pack (750-350) to get both sizes. I purchased this product since I have numerous cords and plugs related to computers, phones, and tablets. This cleaned up the clutter. I probably could use a second on. I do not use it for travel. Great concept but poorly executed by Skooba. "Cheezy" zippers and the feel of "cheap" quality. I doubt this will hold up to rugged "road warrior" use. Size is about right, but as an example of poor design.. the zippered mesh pocket can't even accommodate one of the small wall power transformers and still be zipped up. They left no "stretch" or "elastic" stretch space and still have the zipper work. If this were superior quality material, zippers, stitching, elastic, design etc, I'd pay $30+ for it. But as it is, It's not worth more than $12-$15. Maybe they'll improve it with time and listening to feedback. Like I said, great concept with all the chargers, cables, and electronic devices (memory cards, SIM cards, camera's, phone, ipod's, etc. etc. etc.)in use today, but this falls short of being a real quality product at reasonable price.

Nice bag, compact but with several compartments for the computer, books, magazines....pens and pencils, CDs and other junk.
This bag will not hold even a 15.4 inch computer. I am currently using it for my 14 inch dell latitude but will be taking a 15.4 inch HP in it on trips. A 15.4 wont fit in the dedicated computer section but it will fit in the middle compartment and if you treat your bag the way you should...then computer safety in this middle compartment should be fine.
I believe codi makes a diplomat bag for 17 inch computers and I might buy one at regular retail price...but now Im looking for something in leather......lol

The Mobile Edge Premium Backpack is quite possibly one of the finest packs that have ever graced my shoulders. However, when I received the pack the color was not what I had in visioned. I bartered my pack to one of my close friends and immediately bought the exact same pack except in black/silver. Call me picky, call me OCD, it just seemed to suite her better than myself ;-). I will try to highlight all the points which sold me on this product, along with the discrepancies I find with the pack. Let's begin with the appearance.The pack is by no means a small backpack. It appears large because is capable on carrying a 17" laptop with accessories and a couple of college level text books. However, the pack appears to be designed to be low profile, similar to that of motorcycle equipment. This model in particular is very bright and vibrant. The color is described on the website as "green" however I found (along with several of my friends and associates) to be more of a yellow color. Due to the material used it was also quite reflective, an excellent quality for pedestrians and bicyclists. This is where one my one major gripe about the pack comes into play. The colors portrayed in the pictures are much brighter than they appear to be in pictures. The silver/black model I purchased following this pack is not very bright, though still reflective and thus aesthetically pleasing to me.
This pack fits well on most people. My friend, whom I bartered the model to is on the shorter side and it still seems to work for her as well.
Storage:
There are two large storage areas which allow for most anything a student needs. There are several quick access pockets found on the exterior of the pack as well. Virtually every pocket has some kind of padding/protection, excellent for the tech savy who coincidentally, are paranoid about their gadgets.
Overall its a very comfortable pack which can be worn very close to the body or with some slack. There is ample padding on the straps and back area to reduce vibrations and ensure a comfortable walk or ride. It is also nicely ventilated which helps to keep you from getting too hot. I recommend this pack to anyone who has to carry a laptop.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad, this thing is huge. Great for long trips, but can be a bit cumbersome when just using as a laptop bag for work. Everything it claims to be, a bombproof duffle for the ages. I purchased the medium which is plenty large enough for a days worth of travel. I've used this everything from weekend getaways and boat trips in the tropics, to extended camping. Fantastic bag, excellent quality, and well worth the price.The shoulder strap is nice and wide, and stays in place once you adjust it to the length you want and doesn't "slip" like so many other's I've had. The two leather straps that fold over the opening and secure the closure are very handy for attaching other bulky items that you might not want in the duffle like a coat or umbrella.
This duffle makes other, more expensive bags I've seen look like cheap knockoffs when compared to this Boyt bag. Tough as nails and well worth the buy!

I'm a small girl. Carrying around a backpack with a laptop, water bottle and notebook usually gives me back pain. I bought this bag for the laptop compartment and high-quality, BUT, what I love most are the big cushy straps. I longboard to campus over a mile each way and I have had no issues with back pain since having this bag. I have ALWAYS owned Jansport bags and will never go back.Just a heads up, the zipper took a while to wear in. At first it would stop and be awkward to move, but after a week or so it opens and closes with no issues. Also, the leather pulls on the zippers fall off. :(

This is a great backpack. I am an older student working on a 2nd Bachelor's Degree. It is very large and holds my textbooks and notebook. It has lots of pockets and great places to put individual items. I love the way it looks as well.The wheels are quiet. I've been using it 4 days a week for about 5 weeks and it seems to be holding up well. My last backpack had already begun to fall apart by this time.

The option of the little wheels are great 'cause all my stuff is kind of heavy. And one last thing I want to say is that I LOVE all those little pockets that come inside and outside the backpack, they are VERY useful to organize many many many things that you need to carry with when you go out.

The backpack is sturdy and I expect it to last a long time. There are 3 features that I do not like and they are as follows:1) There is a protective piece that covers the wheels & supports when it is used as a backpack (so that the wheels/support will not dirty your shirt while using it as a backpack). The piece needs to be bigger it now barely covers the wheels/supports so the edge of the wheels/support still will dirty your shirt when using as a backpack.
2) The front pocket has 2 peep holes that has no purpose other than just for looks. However, this causes rain or water to sip into the pocket wetting the contents.
3) The top of the second pocket also has a slit that will let water or liquid to get into that pocket.
Otherwise it is a study backpack

This back pack is well made. I was looking for a pack that would roll. The handle is long enough that I don't have to bend over to pull it. I'm 5'8". The wheels I was especially concerned with and this has the durable roller-blade wheels that will last. Those rubber ones didn't last 3 months wheeling through a downtown metroplex every day. There are many compartments, more room inside the largest than I've ever had. I just wish it had something a little more handy for things like bus passes or parking cards. Large interior (expandable by an additional inch or 2), 4 pockets, long rolling handle (huge plus), and so far extremely durable. I carry at least 2 laptops and a scanner 5 days a week (sometimes 3 scanners and 1 laptop). I've had the bag for 2 months and it continues to hold up well. There is only very minor fraying of the fabric near the wheels where it's dragged. The handle on the top doesn't show any signs of giving out soon. The zippers are still in perfect shape. The wheels are very smooth and it manuvers well. This is truly a large bag though not something you'd give to a kid in elementary school. The only drawback is that it doesn't quickly convert to a backpack you have to unzip the straps and wrap the flap over the wheels. It's just not as easy as another rolling backpack I had. This is probably only a small concern for most, however. I don't have a problem with it (hence 5 stars).

The front compartment could barely accommodate the AC adapter/charger for my HP Mini 2140 netbook and the corner of the bag somehow got torn with very light usage. I have owned several backpack-type purses and this is by far the best in terms of quality. I have now owned and used this backpack everyday for 8 months. It looks brand new, and shows NO signs of wear. I have never had such a fine leather product! No stains, scratches, smudges, or wear of any kindsimply amazing! And it is not because I am kind to purses, no, this thing gets overstuffed, sat on, handled with dirty hands, handled when eating, etc. It is a trooper! I also love the size! Not too big, nor too small. It really is just right. I barely notice it on my back, and once I panicked thinking I had left it somewhere, it was on my back the whole time. The zippers and fasteners are high quality, and again, show no signs of wear. The only thing I would change is to make it a teeny bit bigger for my new ipad.

All around good bag with lots of pockets but the zippers are a bit thin and cheap for a 50buck bag. You will need to be careful with the zippers over time. The shoulder straps are padded and comfy. at 30bucks the price would be right.
Tenba 632-201 Shootout Waistpack (Olive/Black)
Upon arrival of this bag, I noticed that it seemed much better made than many bags you find at walmart or other big box stores. In making my purchase decision, I looked over the Tenba website, and found that the bag matching this product description had many great features not mentioned on the amazon webpage such as a rain hood and velcro on the bottom for tripod attachment. If you look very closely, the product shown on the inset pictures of the Tenba website do not match the large pictures. Also, there are 6 large pictures that do not even match themselves. Pictures 1 and 6 are of the bag shown in the inset smaller pictures under the "features" tab:Pictures 3 and 4 of the larger pictures are display the product if you order from Amazon, which I have. The differences between the two products are as follows:
-Missing rain hood aka Weatherwrap
-Missing tripod straps on bottom
-Missing magazine pocket to unzip so you can slide it over the luggage/cart handles
-Side handles for which can be used to attach the media wallet and phone/music pouch are on the thick waist strap, not on the bag. There are no side handles on the bag itself.
I have put in a request to Amazon to verify all their stock is missing the above features, and they took a few days, but have agreed it is missing said features from the Tenba website. I have put in two email requests to the Tenba website, non of which have been answered. If support is an issue for you, please look to another manufacturer.
All bad things aside, I will keep this bag because I have made my own attachment for the tripod to this bag, and because I shouldn't be walking around in the rain for the type of photography I do and have decided to put a regular umbrella with the trip attached to the bottom of the bag in case I find myself walking around without cover. The zippers are rubberized, and I will spray it with a "waterproofing" spray that is designed for sports shoes, I've sprayed all my bags with it, works great.
The pockets are good for organizing equipment, they are well laid out. I would like the inside to be yellow like an "Ape Case" or Kata bag. I can fit a D90, 18-55mm attached to body, 50mm 1.8, 55-200mm and two SB600's in the main pouch, in a snug but not too right fashion. The side pockets have a lens cleaner kit, two Hoya filters in their case, ML3 wireless trigger, hot shoe attachment for SB600s, spare batteries, and there are 3 dedicated pockets for memory cards along with the included memory wallet which holds 6 cards (and is cheaply made,I'm not using mine). If you have a "full format" DSLR or have a battery grip, I may not recommend it without handling the bag first to be sure things will fit.
Without getting too creative, the movable dividers divide the main compartment into 4 pockets, two large and two small. I do not have any pro lenses, so mine fit ok, but I could imagine 62mm,77mm, 82mm glass will either be tight, or not fit at all; again, handle the bag first if possible.
Lastly, the main reason I purchased this bag is because I knew I would not have a large kit to carry around, but wanted something to take weight off my shoulders, and this does this very well. I haven't hiked a mile carrying all my gear yet, but it feels great. Using the included shoulder strap, it does not bounce while walking, for me. If you walk through crowded places, I would worry about bumping into things because it does stick out a little. Overall, great bag, just wish it was matching the one on the Tenba website 632-201 and that the company would respond to any of my emails.
I carry my Nikon D90 with the 18-200 lens, SB-400 flash, cords, battery charger, spare SD cards, and still have room for my phone, asthma inhaler, keys, and other misc items. It is very comfortable around my waist. And it has a strap to attach so you can carry it over your shoulder.
I looked and compared for months before deciding on this bag. I am so happy with it.

I hate trying to hike with a small digital SLR around my neck bouncing off my chest and my digital video camera in one hand as I try to keep my balance on narrow rocky trails. I have tried to carry an over the shoulder camera bag, but then it takes several minutes to unpack and get a camera out, and by then, the shot is lost. This is probably one of the most full-featured packs I have seen. Its as well made as anything I have seen and I would have loved to have used it. Love the pockets, ease of access, included small carrying case, and great construction.Two things didn't work for me; the first is that it is very big and bulky great for shooting in the outdoors or the woods, but too conspicuous walking the streets of South Africa. The second is that is "pulls down" even with adjustments. In the end, it wasn't the right bag for me.

It came with two pouches inside the 2 side pockets. A very nice surprise. The pack is bigger than I would like. I have a Nikon D5200 with two lenses. There are lots of extract space not being use. It is almost 7 inches thick inside the main compartment and made it extended from the waist too far. Reduce the thickness by 2 inches will be perfect. All the zippers need improvement they are hard to zip. There are two zippers from the each of the 2 end pockets to the main compartment, if the zipper is not completely close, small item thing can drop from the zipper gap. I love this bag. Really. The color is awesome (not a gaudy bright orange, but bright enough not to be a depressing pukey orange) and the bag is just perfectly functional. Most of the time I fold the top over, but when I wind up with a lot of things to carry, I love that the bag can fit just that much more. There are a lot of smaller mesh pocket compartments, even inside the 2 front pockets, which is fantastic for storing extra little things like lip balm, headphones, gum, etc.The material itself is thick and appears very durable, but is not heavy. The strap is wide and doesn't bother my shoulder. I bring it to work and carry it around like a purse on the weekends, and it doesn't look scummy at all.
My only complaint would be that there is no clasp or snap to hold the top down when it's folded over, but it's really not a hindrance.
I was surprised at just how much the fold-over compartment would hold and it might be easy to overload it if you're not mindful of the weight that would result. There are mesh compartments inside and out for wallet, cell phone, etc, but the fold-over section is essentially a bag, so some digging around is inevitable.
One suggestion I'd make is to add a feature that will secure a water bottle upright, though I was able to wedge mine, screw cap on tight, in the outer compartment and that worked fine.
I really like this bag and expect to use it a lot in town when I have art supplies, books, or paperwork to carry.

Overall the product looks to be high quality, the stitching looks good and some of the stress points are even double stitched. Always a good sign. Zippers look strong as well.
The main compartment is more than thick enough for a laptop, in fact I store my Samsung QX410 laptop in there along with a leather professional folder. However it is not 15 inches in height with the padding in there. The Samsung laptop is just under 14 inches across and it just barely fits in this case. If you have a laptop bigger than this get the 17" version they make. Now it is padded very well so the laptop is very secure and safe but that padding makes the inner dimensions slightly smaller than advertised. If you have an Ipad or other tablet device this bag is IDEAL.
The smaller front pouch is big enough to store your day to day needs. I have my smart phone my headphones, a multi tool, a lighter, a small flashlight, 2 pens, 2 pencils, laptop charger and my computer mouse in there. It could be a quarter of an inch thicker in my opinion , all those items fit but very snugly.
There is an additional open flap pocket on the back of the case for storage of paperwork or small folders.
There is a hook and loop pad on the front that allows you to have a Company or Name patch on it. Under that there are 2 rows of molle webbing should you need additional attachments.
The carry strap is adjustable and has an adjustable pad for added comfort when carrying.
The case lacks a water bottle holder of some kind. I fixed this by attaching a Maxpedition Rollypoly pouch to the webbing for the strap ring, this works just fine!
Pros: Lightweight, Slim, appears well made. Holds laptop, folders, and most all day to day business accessories. It looks far more professional for a business person than one of the Maxpedition Fat boy or EDC bags. And is easily HALF THE PRICE. It does not have a dedicated place for a CC pistol but you could adapt it for one if you really needed to. Best thing about this case is that it does not look like a man purse nor does it look overtly tacticool.
Cons: Padding means that laptop pocket is smaller than advertised. The strap attachment rings and the strap spring hooks are plastic. It's a strong feeling plastic, and I doubt will cause the average user any problems, but I would prefer metal personally. Front pocket could be a tad thicker. No water bottle pocket.
Sandpiper, if you read these reviews. Make this pack with a dedicated collapse-able water bottle pocket on one of the sides of the case keeping the pack slim. Make the sling attachments metal. The back folder pocket, if it had a hook and loop surface, could be made to hold a small CC pistol. Also if a version of this was made out of a good dark colored leather. I'd be all over it!
All in all this is the best laptop case I have purchased I plan to use it every day! I'll update this review as time goes on to give a perspective on longevity.

Cool looking and lightweight vertical case. It did not fit my Dell 15R so I had to return it, but it fit the bill almost. Not thick so you can be mobile. I'd imagine it would fit an Ipad and stuff easily.Want Sandpiper of California Laptop Case (Black, 15x12x2.5-Inch) Discount?
