My old EDC bag was the Maxpedition Neatfreak Organizer, but my only problem with it was that I couldn't carry my HP Mini 110-3530NR Netbook (Black) in it. This is where the Kato comes in ... (you've got to love the name!) ... I purchased it when it first came out. It's large enough for me to carry my HP Mini, my Franklin Planner, and all sorts of EDC items. It has a very nice protective sleeve for either an iPad or similar tablet computer or concealed carry.
The bag is rugged, well-constructed, has good PALS / MOLLE webbing on it to which I attached my Maxpedition Fatty Pocket Organizer to, and it's able to hold a LOT of easy-to-access EDC items. The over-the-shoulder sling is of good quality just like the rest of the bag, and the locking clip that holds it all together is a good addition as well.
One very nice feature is that, when opened, it presents you with an administrative fold-down for maps, notes, and other tools that a good messenger bag would have. It is one of the things that sets this bag apart from many others. It has replaced my Neatfreak as my EDC bag and I've been using it for about a Month now. I'm a very satisfied customer.
The video is my "unboxing" video, and I hope you enjoy it.

I had my mind made up on another well known tactical bag,but the masterful design and quality construction of this bag won me over. Its not bulky but very sleek and full of pockets: that wonderful administrative pocket that folds out with an assortment of pockets for pens, pencils, personal documents or maps that can be enclosed in the special plastic window for displaying or viewing. The design of this administrative pocket has been so well designed that when you get ready to close this pocket, the support straps fold out of the way without getting caught in the zippers!! Two pockets for computers:One padded pocket in the main part of this bag for a Macbook Air 11" laptop and a special lockable compartment with water proof zipper on the outside of this bag for your iPad! The other outside pocket though not hidden like its competitors:Maxpedition and 5.11 Tactical, houses your CCW. The design on the front of this pocket with the velcro for removeable logos breaks up the visual profile so that your CCW imprint doesn't show through and nobody would ever guess what you have in this compartment! The MOLLE under the outside flap makes it possible for you to attach more accessories and the small zippered bag that's encluded on the side of this bag is a great asset also! D rings Padded shoulder strap and special locking buckle and high quality zippers complete this wonderful bag! Thanks AMAZON for such a high quality product.

I just received this bag today and feel it has great construction and materials. It was larger than I thought it would be, given the word MINI in its name... I actually expected it to be half the size. If I saw this in the store, I would not have purchased it given its large is larger than what I needed. But for someone that needs to store larger items and/or likes the well documented size, it is a very solid bag, with lots of fine details that you will appreciate. I will keep the bag and find a use for it, but I will continue to also look for a smaller bag to meet my own needs. The price is good, and the product was clearly new. The box it came in was previously used, which is fine, and protected the contents good enough.

Innovative and cool. The iPad pocket is almost too small if you have any type of bigger case. Still awesome item and love hazard 4

Great bag for the size. Perfect for my kindle fire. I carry a lot of small items for my job and this bag has been the best. The only complaint is the front flap/pocket gets a bit heavy when loaded with items. Pass through zipper to inner pocket is a nice touch.
