I recieved my pack in a timely manner and was surprised by the generous size not usually seen in a sling especially of this price. Have not put it through the paces yet but it does appear sturdy and functional.. Good overall design and fit. I would say all in all I did well in my choice. A good value for under $20 incl. s&h. I'm pleased.
I bought this product, after exchanging a similar version I received as a gift but that was too large. I made a mistake and hit one click purchase twice and ended up with two of them. Good thing I never got around to returning the extra one. Within 2 weeks of every day use (take it out in the morning, put it in in the evening), the zipper broke off and the darn thing was zipped shut. Not wanting to bother with returns for somehting so cheap, I just threw out the first one and started using the second one. It lasted 3 days before I had the same problem. Sigh. I finally spent the extra $13 and bought the Vera Bradley one I had wanted in the first place and I'm in LOVE. It's thick, protective, has a storage pocket and the zipper works. Just another lesson of you get what you pay for and don't bother paying for this.
These bagz are the best for just keys, cell phone & lip gloss....with kids, there's always so much to carry around...that you can take your essentials and tuck down in here, then stick it in your ''other'' bags.....but find it when you need it ! Saves another 10 pounds on your shoulder from a purse, too ! Must have !!!

I bought this for my 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas. I have not given it to her yet but I know she has been wanting one and I think it is a great backpack.
I'm a big fan of Gregory packs and this one is definitely high-quality, lightweight and full-featured. Unfortunately, I had fallen in love with the air-flow design of the Jade 60 prior to purchasing this but I went with the Serrac for the lower price. After loading up the Serrac and walking around my house for a while my back began to sweat and the difference between this and the Jade 60 was really noticeable. Not to mention, the Jade 60 is a woman's pack and I missed the extra padding at the hips. I'm sure this would be a phenomenal pack for many folks but I ended up shopping around and finding the Jade 60 for just $20 more so I'm returning this guy to Amazon. I will say that the Serrac easily held my lightweight gear including tent, bedroll, propane stove, rain gear, sleeping bag, hammock, mess kit and it still had enough room for some clothes and food. It definitely would have been able to handle my load for a 2-4 day camping trip.

This was purchased for my kindergartener and 2 years later it's still in great shape. Even after being overstuffed, the zippers are holding strong. The design is still just as prettyno scratching or any wear marks. Great product.

My company has a volunteer program where we provide needy kids with back-to-school items. I was given a list for a little girl starting Kindergarten. She wanted a Dora backpack. We had to have these items before the stores actually started carrying the back-to-school items and I knew I could count on Amazon to have what I needed. It arrived in a timely fashion and it made one little girl very happy!
The bag was not as sturdy as it looks. Stitching is bad too. Feels like a buy and throw within a few months product.

This style of backpack I was looking for has to be durable and have some padding in it to keep my things where I want them and this seems to fit the bill.
This bag is perfect. I would not change one thing on it. I get compliments all the time and other guys want to know where they can get one. The pocket in front holds my IPhone phone. With the back pocket hold all my cards and has a slot for $ bills. I still have a wallet with only the cards that I need for every day use the rest are stored in my bag. I would give this 5 stars.
Needed a catch all backpack that didn't shout computer or camera bag. This pack is perfect. I added a small pad in the bottom, it holds my camera securely, with no damage. The large velvet, computer sleeve holds my 13" mac snug as well all it's cables and external HD. It only has only outside pocket, but for me it's enough to hold sunglasses, pens, and few other small items. Super comfortable on you back too, both slung over one shoulder or both.

I was supr excited to get this bag because I loved the look but unfortunately I'll be returning it. First thing I noticed after opening the package was the bright red stripes on the interior lining. While they are noticeable even when the bag is closed they weren't a deal breaker for me. The reason I'm returning is there's a big cut in the bag, as if someone sliced it with a knife. Disappointing after waiting so long for the bag.

This backpack is very roomy and durable. It is made of quality materials and has good workmanship. It is perfect for the thick binders and notebooks used in school.
I use this a lot for when I go to work as it has enough room for everything I need after all being a lifeguard you do need to have quite a bit of odds and ends. It also helps for when I'm traveling as I used it when we went down for the weekend to Illinois to see my sister and meet her fiancee's parents. All in all it was great for both travel and for work so if you are looking for a bag for such things then this is for you.
I purchased this backpack for my son in August of 2011 (1st grade) and it has held up a year later. One of the mesh pockets on the side has torn (there is 1 on both sides) but the bag itself is very durable and has no tears, fraying or zipper issues. My son loves this backpack. Don't waste your time looking for another. For the price, you can't beat this product!

I originally searched out Petunia Pickle Bottom bags for their beautiful fabrics stylish prints with a glazed finished that is not too shiny and in that area this bag did not disappoint. But I'm afraid beyond the fabric, I just wasn't impressed with the other features of the bag.
