So I have been a Tumi users for years. But, as their Quality went down, I was looking for something better. I Travel for work (IT road warrior) and need to pass my luggage through many venues of travel and mishandling; esp. with some Electronics. I had seen Spinners at the airports and like the idea. So I searched Amazon for "Hard" & "Spinner", and came up with this two-pair eBags item.When I first got them, the Hard plastic looked a bit flimsy, but thought I would give it a try:
1) These cases take both the Load and Abuse of Buses, Trains, Airplanes, etc.
2) Both the "Spinners" and extended Handles give these bags a Great handling feature.
3) Inside Straps, Zips, Adjustable panels; a great, variable way of making sure my stuff stys where I pack it.
4) They look Good.
1) The outside handles are not something I would hang another bag on. I tried a Luggage strap to hold a carry-on, but had second thoughts on the subject.
2) I would suggest a Luggage strap that hands off the Extended aluminium handle. This Extended arm handles the load much better then the handles themselves.
These two eBags and a Wally bag, get me everything I need for Business trips.

This bag is great for extended stays... or shorter stays if you're a heavy packer or packing for 2. In my opinion, for a 2 plus week trip where you want to bring souvenirs back this bag is an excellent choice. I suggest packing cubes because they make it so much easier to manage the vast amount of space this bag has to offer. If you plan on using it as a backpack you better be quite strong, especially if it's fully loaded. However, when I needed the backpack feature it was awesome to have and it saved me tons of time and effort. When fully loaded with clothes and travel necessities I came in 10 pounds under the 50 pound weight limit so careful planning is required when packing so as to not get charged at the airport. Material and overall strength of the bag is fantastic. I beat it up over 16 days of constant traveling in China and it held together perfectly. The wheels handled the various terrains very well and never stopped rolling. Overall a durable and well thought out bag!

I bought this bag as I travel for three week periods internationally for work but also try to include a side trip which usually included snowboarding. I bought this bag to be flexible enough to hold a large amount of gear but also be soft to squeeze into cars and also have backpack straps to carry so I can also pull my snowboard bag. The bag has not disappointed, heaps of room, easy to pull along and easy to spot amongst all the black bags on the airport carousel. I was looking for something I could easily fit a week's worth of business attire in and tough enough to survive the over zealous baggage handlers at ATL. I think I found it. I just returned from my first trip with this bag and was very pleased. After getting my clothes for the week in the bag I was left believing I had forgotten something because I still had room to spare. No problem though because the adjustable straps around the bag allowed me to cinch down the bag tight. No problems at the airport as the ticket attendant got the tape measure out to make sure it met the size limitations. No problem with weight either as this bag is surprisingly light for its size. All that was lest was the baggage handlers. I came home without a rip or tear.There also seems to be plenty of room for the getaways with the wife. We should easily get everything into this bag even without utilizing the expansion.
The Amazon price was good too. I found this bag originally in a mall luggage store selling for about $25 more than what I paid.

I got this monster with a matching carry-on. They both DID NOT survive their FIRST trip abroad. The wheels are not strong enough for a 32" suitcase. They both bent like a cheap fork while rolling on a bumpy sidewalk. Too heavy? It was just clothes and toiletries not gold bars and it's 32". It's supposed to be HEAVY! What a piece of crap!!!The matching carry-on (that they gave me for free) developed a serious zipper issue. It gradually became more difficult to unzip as the trip progressed. The luggage scanner in taiwan actually threatened to cut it open if I couldn't get it unzipped. So, in this case, free = crap.
Verdict: I actually love love love their backpacker gear. But this suitcase and matching carry-on are total crap. I guarantee you the wheels will break on this 32" mother if you fill it to capacity. The zipper may or may not get stuck on your carry-on but do you really want to risk a cavity search from an angry TSA.

I work on offshore oil rigs and needed a bag that was rough, tough, and as waterproof as possible for my travels. I spent a year looking for the perfect bag and I'd have to say I think I've found it. I was a little worried about the Velcro flap but after using it I think it'll work just fine. The backpack straps do slip a little easier than I would like but so far not a problem at all. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't really tested out it's waterproof abilities. So far I couldn't happier with this bag and think I'll have it for years.

Bought this for my wife. Be sure to select the correct frame size to ensure the most comfortable and stable fit. My wife is about 5'4" and of small to medium build, the small pack suited her just fine.One of the side mesh pocket is tilted forward to allow easy access to your water bottle when the pack is worn. There are also mesh pockets on the waist belt for quick access without opening the pack. Back frame provides good support for the entire length of the back and is comfortable for long distances when everything is properly adjusted.
Internal volume is a tad small, I realize it's meant for use as a day pack but I've seen comparable packs which offer about 10-20% more volume. Other than that, I recommend the pack readily.

I bought this to use on an overseas trip as my carry-on/laptop bag. I am totally in love with it. It fits my 15" laptop perfectly as well as everything else I need (and dont need).The outside has a pocket perfect for the phone. And the BEST BEST BEST part of this bag are the giant drink holders on the sides. They fit mammoth size drinks and are deep enough that I am not afraid to throw my phone or keys in there as well.....yeah, as well....they are big enough to hold keys, phone and a drink at the same time. LOVE.
The contruction of the bag is also really impressive. It looks brand new and I have been using it pretty much daily since June (it is now Sept).

The product design is pretty. The only issue I had was that it was a bit tight on my 15" macbook pro. It zipped up fine but there's no wiggle room, so the zipper was scraping against the side of my macbook.The padding is thin, very thin. I would overlook that but I still don't like how I would have to take caution each time I zipped up the case so I'm returning it and trying something else. It would have been nice if it had some sort of lining underneath the zipper to prevent the scraping.

This pack works really well. It's comfortable and doesn't sway too much while you're walking. It has plenty of space and looks really nice. BBP Bags - Industries Backpack
I've had this bag since Christmas and it's served me well for everyday and travel use. I don't have back fatigue like I've had with courier or other backpack style bags. The laptop compartment can accomodate a laptop plus an iPad and the outer compartment can hold my t shirts, an audio interface and all of my cables. There's plenty of pockets to store miscellaneous items. The two side pockets double as water pocket and zip-able compartments. Very handy for last minute grabs of keys, wallet and all the other things I forget on the way out the door.

This is the best backpack I have ever owned. The two best qualities are the myriad number of pockets and how comfortable it is to carry. I walk a lot throughout the week while carrying my backpack, and I rarely feel any soreness in my back or neck. I usually don't even notice that I am carrying it. You can look up my review of the STM Revolution bag here on Amazon, I got it as a replacement for my Evolution bag which finally split wide open after about four years of VERY heavy use. RIP Evolution, you will be sorely missed. The Revolution (newer design of the Evolution) is a fine bag in many regards but not even close to being a replacement for the Evolution. For my intended purpose, it's a horrible bag and I was left hunting for a replacement.I went through several bags (thanks to Amazon Prime, I got to try them out risk free with two day shipping and hassle free returns) including the Timbuk2 Zeitgeist, Timbuk2 Q, Incase Campus and a few others I can't remember. Again, these bags had their pros and cons but none of them fit the void left by the venerable STM Evolution. After much Googling on the subject, I found a site that mentioned BBP Bags, a company I had previously never heard of but got some pretty serious praise from those who had bought their bags.
BBP makes mostly messenger and convertible bags, I think the Industries Backpack might be their only backpack. Out of the box, the first thing I noticed is that it's built like a tank. Not in the sense that it's heavy, bulky or overbuilt but just that it's made from materials that mean business, has chunky zipper pulls, fully taped and sewn seams, all the hallmarks of a bag designed to be carried every single day. It's got a great selection of compartments, TWO water bottle pouches (you hear that Timbuk2, Incase, STM and others?!?!?), high contrast white lining so you can find your stuff in poor lighting, well padded interior (more on that in a moment) and comfortable straps. Lastly, it's a seriously understated bag with a clean, industrial design. You won't grab unnecessary attention carrying this bag, no one is going to identify you as someone who might be carrying $5,000 worth of electronics on your back.
I do have a couple complaints:
The padding in the bottom of the laptop compartment is far from sufficient. I supplemented with a high-density foam pad I had been using in my STM bag so it's all good in my hood, but less MacGuyver-y folks may not be happy with the drop protection.
The shoulder straps aren't the most comfortable one's I've had. This is one area where Timbuk2 bags really stand out, and other bag makers need to rip off their strap design. BBP's sternum strap is great, but would be nice if it had some elastic to it like the STM does. I might actually swap them, now that I think of it.
Because of the way the zipper seams are sewn and taped, it can make it hard to open and close the zippers. This is seriously critical gripe, and some folks are rolling their eyes right now, but I'm in and out of my bag so many times a day that it does amount to a meaningful annoyance. This is one of the ways in which the STM stood out but I have to give BBP props for using a MUCH more durable design. I had to refuse the zippers on my STM twice in four years because they pulled away from the bag material.
So would I recommend the BBP? Would I buy it again? Absolutely on both counts, assuming I couldn't find an STM Evolution on eBay or Craigslist :-)
[UPDATE 3/25/13]
I managed to find a used STM Evolution bag, and not a moment too soon because the top handle on my BBP bag has started to disintegrate. More specifically, the synthetic leather material that's wrapped around the top handle has started falling apart, which makes the bag look kind of cheap.
I also had a zipper pull break, but BBP replaced it immediately. Their customer service was excellent.
The rest of the bag has held up fine. Ultimately I've got no regrets, but it's not my absolute ultimate bag (sorry, STM still takes that cake).

Victorious Make It Shine Backpack
I bought this backpack last year for my daughter. She is in love with a few of the characters on the show. We always go out and buy her a new backpack for the school year because as you well know, they are completely demolished at the end of the school year. We could not find one that she liked prior to starting school and she had nothing to use except a summer bag that she has. I wanted to buy her something that she would love and I found this on amazon. This backpack was a hit and let me tell you, there are no holes in it. It has done it's job well. The only thing that is wrong with it now, mind you the school year is done, is the zipper won't close all the way. This backpack is a great size for my 3yr old. He likes to wear it and it is big enough to hold a lunch and a change of clothes.
The pack is well made, more so than a "toy" backpack, and the bright orange color (nearly "safety" orange) is easy to spot and appealing to a youngster.

Bought this for my 5 yr old son and I was sent a Sonic luggage roller bag instead of a backpack! Unfortunately I cannot send it back as I had it forwarded to me in the caribbean. The bag also had a small burn hole in the bottom front pocket. Do not buy! My grandson loves Sonic. Bought this item so he could haul his gear back and forth to camp. While it is a nice looking back pack, it's not very durable. Side pocket came undone within a week. I had to sew up a hole that separated at the seams a couple of days later. Very difficult, since it's covered with some type of plastic material. There are no inside pockets or zippers to store stuff.

I bought this backpack specifically because I could slip it over the extended handle of my suitcase. I've traveled with it once and like it. I was able to organize my things because there are three different compartments. It seems sturdy and is relatively comfortable to wear. All in all, I'm quite happy with it.
Well organized, fit nicely into airline overhead, and was easy to open all the way for airport security. It was also easy for me to see my stuff. The zippers seemed sturdy and worked easily.
The only thing to watch out for is the straps. If you don't tuck them all the way in, which is hard, you need to be sure and run the chest strap through the handle so they won't drag on the street. It's easy to unsnap the strap when you hit steps.
Way better than any of my previous duffels or rolling luggage.

Spent a while looking at new packs for mainly work but also for travel. Was sold by the celebrity endorsement here and haven't been disappointed, a well built and comfortable pack! Only complaint (for work, can see it as a benefit for travel)is that the main compartment zippers are full and if you aren't paying attention and grab the pack when open the entire front can come down spilling everything. I purchased this in August for a quick 6 day trip to Europe to watch a Formula 1 race in Belgium. I found the pack to qualify as "carry on" very well as the ticket agent made me jam into their metal dimension square and it fit very snugly. The pack material held up well and the rollers worked well even on gravel at the track. My complaint is the quality of the main zipper which broke on the third day of use, rendering my ability to keep anything in very limited. Zippers are not easily repaired or replaced, so its the trash bin for this thing.
Ju-Ju-Be Be Right Back Diaper Bag New
I have have owned the Ju Ju Be BFF, packabe and ppb's boxy backpack. This one is my favorite.Here is a detailed comparison of the BFF vs. the Be Right Back 2.0 (I will refer to as the BRB for the rest of the post)-
-The backpack straps on the BRB have firmer padding and the padding extends down the strap longer. This is important for those of us who have 'thicker' shoulders or those who choose to pack the BFF's back pocket to the max.
-The BRB has a nice mesh breathable fabric against the back and underneath the straps, the BFF does not
-The BRB straps are very easily adjustable, the BFF's are not
-The BRB has a side zipper pocket that runs along the back and is easy to access (changing pad located here), the BFF has a pocket on the back and in order to access it you must move both backpack straps (changing pad located here)
-The grab handle on the BFF is slightly more padded than the grab handle on the BRB
-The insulated cup holders are deeper on the BRB
-The mommy pocket is a different shape and has less pockets but overall holds more in the BRB
-The soft lined phone pocket is wider (about 1 inch) and deeper in the BRB
-The BRB utilizes magnet closure with 1 exterior small but deep pocket, The BFF does not have any magnet closure pockets
-The BFF has a sturdy and padded bottom with metal feet, the BRB does not (this is the only thing I don't like about the BRB)
-The BFF has more pockets in the main compartment, but overall much less space in the main compartment
-The BFF can be utilized as a messenger bag or backpack, the BRB is only a backpack
-The BFF is available in more prints currently
Overall I do like the BRB much better. I find access to be much easier/quicker, and that it holds more. I also find it more comfortable. The BRB is a nice size as well, for example, the other backpack from Ju Ju Be, the PackaBe, is just waaay tooo huge to carry around on a daily basis. and I found the backpack straps on the PackaBe to be extremely thin.
I have 3 boys ages 3, 2 and 6 months. This is perfect for me on an almost every day basis. For dates, or the rare occasion where I do not have the boys with me, I use my Be Quick.

Then there are the "amenities"! Teflon coating makes it super easy to wipe clean. My son spilled apple sauce only a day or two after i got it. It wiped clean without so much as a smell, stain, sticky mess or anything. I love the concept that I can just drop it in the washing machine in case it does get gross. It's the only diaper bag I've seen on the market that offers this option. I've spent so much time wiping my old bag down with Clorox wipes and spraying it down with Lysol whenever I've dropped it on a bathroom floor, or had to tuck it under an airplane seat. The 3M insultated bottle pockets are awesome! Ju-Ju-Be advertises that it will keep a bottle or cup hot or cold for 3 hours. I've found it lasts much longer. First, I like the height of the pockets. I have the tall sippy cups for my son, and they fit in there perfectly. The sides are elasticized, so it "holds" the cup in place, but allows me to easily reach in and grab the cup, but the height prevents a large amount of the cup (and mouthpiece) to stick out and possibly touch things like shopping carts, the car floor, etc. I pack my son a straw cup of ice water every morning, then I leave it in the bag when I drop it off at daycare with my son. I've become accustomed to room temperature water in the evening when I pick him up, but now the water actually stays cold! The ice is melted, but the water is still cold. I was SHOCKED.
The bag itself is super comfortable. The straps are easily adjustable where it only takes seconds for my husband or I to move the size (I'm 5'5", 120lbs, and my hubby is 6'0" and 220 lbs, so there's a big difference in what "fits" each of us.) The memory foam padding on both the back of the bag (entirely covers your back) and the ones on the straps makes this bag actually enjoyable to wear (even pregnant, it's extremely cushy on my back, and seems to take the weight off carrying so much stuff.) I also really like that there's a handle on the top of the bag that let's me reach down and pick it up with one hand to carry out to the car or whatever, without having to actually put it on my back.
The only reason I didn't rate this bag a 5 is because i would have preferred some additional options in pattern. We got the Stargyle which is very nice. I like it. But I wanted something distinct in pattern (so it stood out), but that wouldn't be too "girly" for when my husband had to carry it. This pretty much fits the bill, I guess. It's not overly feminine, but there's nothing remotely masculine about it either. I would have preferred something more gender neutral. This pattern is cute, though. I like it, and since I'll have 2 boys, it works out fine.

I wanted the BFF made by Ju Ju Be but it was too small for me to accommodate everything I need for my infant and toddler. The BRB fits everything I need on a daily basis with plenty of room to spare for traveling or full day trips. It appears small but fits much more than you would expect as you start packing. It is very comfortable and feels lightweight which is pleasantly surprising because of the thick durable material it is made out of. The mommy pocket fits everything you would need to carry in a purse comfortably and is my favorite feature. The outside of the bag has a nice amount of pockets but I think the inside could have used a few more for better organization. I do wish there were feet on the bottom of the bag but that's not a huge deal as it still stands on its own when packed. The side zipper for the changing pad is so easy to access and can fit more such as diapers and wipes or an iPad or kindle. The major reason I didn't rate this bag five stars is because of the print choices. Ju ju be makes so many cute prints and it was frustrating that there were so few offered for this bag. It seemed strange that they made two in solid black and another two with black backgrounds. Because its a pricey bag I wanted to love the print but in the end I liked all the features so much I decided to settle on the print aspect. I received this as a Christmas Gift. After having my second baby, my first diaper bag was starting to get strenuous for my shoulder. We went on a small vacation, and I used a backpack while at the amusement park. I asked for a diaperbag backpack for Christmas, and my parents purchased me this one. They were worried it could be too small, and at first glance, I thought it could be too. Hardly! Not only is this bag better on my back, but my favorite feature is the organization of this bag. All the compartments are easy to get to and unlike a traditional diaper bag, I don't have to pull everything out to find the diaper or the extra onsie. and there is still plenty of room!
The construction is great! Can't comment on how long it'll last, since I've only had it a few weeks. But I'm hoping for a long time!

This new version of JJB's BRB is excellent to say the least! The new design is slimmer than the older version but has lot of room. For easy packing, the bag unzips all the way so you can almost pack it like a suitcase. If you only need one thing out of the bag, however, you can just upzip part of the way without opening the entire bag. The mommy pocket has a lot of space so I don't need to carry a purse along with this bag. I also like the cell phone pocket and then the extra pocket on the front. The changing pad pocket is so nice because it is rather hidden and I can fit my Kindle Fire in there as well. The bag isn't nearly as heavy as the older version and sits well on my back. Even my husband had no problem carrying it all day at the zoo. We have two children and cloth diaper our youngest. We're able to fit everything we need for a full day out and even had room left over! I also like the mesh area on the front of the bag when you unzip the big part. I can fit all our extra clothes there and then have the whole main compartment for coats, food, diapers, etc.As always, the best thing about JJB is that they are washable, so I don't have to be so careful about putting the backpack down on the ground! Definitely worth the money and the Stargyle print is beautiful in real life. The gray seems darker and the blues more vibrant than the photos online!
