I bought this backpack and lunch box for my 4 year old daughter. I thought it was super cute and well constructed. My daughter especially liked that the hello kitty was fuzzy. She couldn't wait to bring it to school. My only complaint is that the lunch box is pretty large considering it is paired with a small size backpack. It was a fun purchase and I would recommend it to others.

It's an interesting backpack. I wanted one to alleviate the shoulder pain I was getting from my purse. This is NOT the bag for that. It's not a handbag replacement. However, it IS a great bag for textbooks and especially for a laptop. It's well padded and well constructed. It's also far roomier than it looks, yet it stays very flat against your back. It's good looking enough to take to work and/or meet with a client. Since it does lay so flat, I never felt like a large-backed turtle and I never had to remove it when I was walking though narrow bus isles or on subway when it was packed for rush hour.

I was excited when I saw this backpack and purchased it. Then, I got very disappointed when I tried to fit in my toshiba 17" notebook and could not close the zipper. The other point I did not like was the fact that I could not get it to set comfortably on my back even when it was completely empty. It was extremely tight on my shoulders and arm pits. Now imagine if it contained a laptop. I received the product and returned it 2 days later. The back pack is great, but unfortunately it doesn't fit my 17in+ laptop. That's entirely my fault, it clearly states it will fit a 17. I tried my hardest to squeeze it in, I could use the pack to carry it with the zipper open. I think it would be a lot more comfortable to wear with a much smaller laptop, the larger one was stiff and didn't sit low enough in the pack. It kind of made me feel like a turtle with a hard shell on my back. This is good to have on vacation. You can carry laptop without anyone knowing you have it. You can also find a lot of free wyfi, comes in handy looking up information. lightweiight.
My five year old saw the other kids at the airport with roller luggage and wanted to retire the backpack for one. So she picked this one out and we just took it on a 14 day trip and it held up great. She was able to pack it full of her favorite toys, the side netted pocket was perfect for a bottle of water and easily stow it under the seat as carry on for easy access to fun. The handle comes out easily, rolls good and most importantly is easy to open for her. One thing to note the pull up handle does not extend up to "average" adult height so expect to carry it if your kid is not feeling like dealing with it but thats where the top handle and shoulder strap really help.
First off, I bought this for my 6 year old son, who loves Wii and Super Mario. So, when we received this backpack, he was ecstatic! He is thrilled by it. Yet I am not. The backpack is very cheap quality cheap fabric, not even lined, no extra pockets. It could even be folded up, that's how thin it is. I will not be surprised if this lasts only a few months of school! Then the lunch bag, which I wouldn't even call it that, is not insulated, and not even lined! For food safety reasons, I don't think we'll even be able to use it! I am so disappointed that I paid $21 for this! It's worth maybe $8. I would have returned this in a heartbeat if my son hadn't already seen it. If your buying this just for play (and even then, don't pay as much as I did!), it may be ok, but not for everyday school use!

This backpack looked super cool, and my son loved it when he initially recieved it. However, we had to put into the trash within 5 weeks because it was so ripped and shredded that it could not hold his school supplies and such. It ripped first on the bottom, and things started falling out. Then it got a tiny hole near the outside top. It ripped open very quickly into a gaping hole about 3 inches by 6 inches and we had to then toss it. I feel very ripped off as I paid in the neighborhood of $30 plus dollars. My son loved the look of this backpack and he truly adores having the lunchbox to take to school. He is only in preschool and only attends 3 days a week. He carries a few papers in his backpack so I was quite disappointed that the entire side ripped out of it after it was only used for 6 weeks.

The leather is thick, but buttery soft and the saddle shade is warmest cognac. My 17 inch notebook fits inside with room to spare and there's a cell phone pocket on the side. The only con is I wish there were more holes on the straps, so they could be made shorter. That's easy enough to remedy, I suppose. I fully expect this bag to last a lifetime.

I love this laurex bag, it looks awesome. Unlike other laurex bags this one does not have a removable laptop sleeve but rather a compartment to slide your laptop into. This inner compartment is in no way big enough to fit a 17in laptop, but would probably fit a 15.3in well. It has plenty of little nooks to put all of what you might need. I have a 17.3in laptop (that obviously doesn't fit into the designated compartment) so I put it on the other side of it and my laptop cooler where the laptop should go. It works fine and my laptop is still plenty padded. All in all I am pleased with this purchase.
Will not know how my grandson likes it until Christmas. I like it, the straps appear to be very strong and this is what is needed. He will also have to carry a PC. I am very pleased with it.

Some people will refer to this as a "minimalist" bag in that you can't fit a spare hard drive, spare battery, two Steven King novels, a water bottle (there's water in the kitchen for God's sake!), swim fins, and a pair of night vision goggles in it. What you can easily fit in it is your laptop, an external keyboard, a mouse, cables and chargers, a couple magazines or notepads, or one Steven King novel. It's plenty big without looking big. It's like a european cut suit versus one of those old american ones. It's just enough, a tailored modern look. This bag really isn't for say anyone over the age of 7. I was disappointed because I purchased it for my 15 year son who plays alot of basketball. He knows his "gear" and this wouldn't have impressed him. I didn't even show it to him; just returned it to Amazon. I expected better quality from the "Jordan" brand. At $33, it was an outrageous purchase. Look for a different bag, Amazon offers several.

I was looking for a replacement to my everyday messenger bag and really wanted one with an adequate phone compartment. What definitely sold me on this item was the pocket shoulder strap. It's padded for comfort but it keeps my phone where I can see it and not in some side pocket on the bag. The strap pocket is big enough to carry the average sized smartphone. There are also 2 smaller side pockets and a mesh for other stuff like a water bottle. If you like dozens of compartments though you might not like this bag. In total there really is only 5 compartments (including the shoulder strap). The two larger main pockets are right on top each other which is a bit awkward. and the capacity isn't the kind you can carry lots of stuff and a laptop. I wish there was an inner pocket in the main compartment but it gets the job done and the clip on both sides makes it easy to switch the way you might wear it over the shoulder. In all a comfortable medium sized messenger bag that can adjust to the way you like to wear it.
