Booq Boa 3L Backpack (for 17" laptops)

This is a great bag. It has more room than I expected.

One note, the laptop compartment has two Velcro pads that can be positioned on the sides or top/bottom of the compartment.

I actually called Booq and ordered another set of pads ($12 with shipping) to have padding on all 4 sides.

This backpack has a very well organized and extremely well constructed interior. It is very bulky and sits quite high on your back, however, and made me look in my wife's opinion like a first-grader carrying too many books. I returned it and got the Brenthaven 15-17 Pro, which I think is nearly perfect. I had it's predecessor model from Brenthaven for many years and loved it. I only got a new one because the inside pockets finally began to wear out. The new one is better, and if it had an interior like the Booq it would be completely perfect.
