The two outside pockets make better than normal use of the front space of the pack and provide a good system for locating smaller objects without digging to the bottom of the big compartment. There is a padded divider in the main compartment for a laptop or organization of other equipment. The shoulder straps are nicely designed and well-padded. The back of the pack is padded so pointy objects are less likely to poke you in the back
For everyday use, day hikes or travel this pack has what you need without being too complicated. Considering its high quality, it's well worth the price.

Buy Clear PVC Backpack by Ensign Peak Now
The backpack came just as described. We used it at the Florida theme parks, and were not delayed by security dumping out or looking through our bag. They could see everything inside and just passed us on. Many thanks for such a useful item.DebWe've now purchased two more of these. They are cheaply made. The vinyl does tear easily. But they are very cheaply priced. I expected to replace it often, and I was not disappointed. Don't buy it if you are looking for something sturdy. This bag was just as described, heavy PVC. Working in a prison means checking your bag before you enter. That usually means stopping, opening up the bag and showing it's contents. Now I just walk by and lift it up and turn it once, no stopping. So far the only flaw is a missed stich area about an inch and a half long. A little stiching of my own and it will be perfect. It is durable as I leave it out in my car. We have had many a night below 10 degrees and it does not effect the bag whatsoever.

Features that I really like:
Large wheels makes rolling on challenging pavement a lot easier
Compression straps secures the top and prevents the zipper from moving (an extra security measure)
Balanced side handle Makes carrying the suitcase easy
Straps I tried the straps once in Istanbul when it was raining and I had to carry my umbrella as well, worked great! although that is the only time I used my straps, I roll it 99% of the time due to the large wheels
Light weight the suitcase weighs 7.5 lbs if I remember correctly, for a framed pack that is very light
Curved frame contoured to fit on your back
Features that could use some improvement:
External pocket There is no external pocket. I wish there was a small external pocket for quick access to things like maps etc.
Overall, this is a fantastic pack and I am totally satisfied. Osprey also guarantees these packs for life so that is comforting. So far I am loving it.My partner and I each bought this pack to travel for 3 weeks in South East Asia (Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore), and hopefully to South America next. We chose the Osprey Sojourn 60 L pack because we both have bad backs and would rather have a versatile back pack that allows u to wheel our stuff around where we have the choice!
The wheels are well designed for rough terrain and did fine where there is pavement, kerbs or dirt tracks. We also used the harness quite a few times while walking on beaches, getting on/off long boats, walking through jungle, and up long interminable staircases in cheap hotels without lifts! They were fine and in no way less comfy than the 70 L travel backpacks i used in the past! Although it may not be the best thing to trek for days on end (although I would still give this a go to find out), it worked just fine for a few hours at a time.
During our trip, we met several fellow travellers who had the same pack, and every time they couldn't help come and tell us how great and useful they are! Other travellers thought the packs looked very cool, and were very jealous that we could wheel them around while they had to carry their stuff. As for carrying capacity, i had just under 20 kg of stuff in the bag at the end of the trip and it was easy enough to pack and fit with ease. In addition, the packs were fine to bring in a luxury 5 star hotel, they didn't look dingy at all.
In terms of the pack's quality and design, the attention to detail and workmanship is outstanding, and with the lifetime warranty i have absolutely no regrets! I've already converted a couple of backpacker friends in buying these because of their versatility, ease and simplicity. I do recommend getting the rain cover as this saved us during heavy rains when mud and rain was everywhere! Also, I was debating whether I should get the Meridian range as it comes with a built-in daypack, but luckily I found it very easy to use my own 25L daypack and balance it in the front. There are D-clips and a courier attachment at the back of the pack that you can use to attach a separate daypack should you wish but i found that offsets my balance too much. Having it at the front is a good way to counter-weigh the pack and makes it easy to get your money, map, etc. out quickly.
All in all, I would highly recommend this pack for those who like to do some adventure travel and expect a combination of rough, off the beaten track trips and staying in well-developed cities and nice hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to use this to visit my parents in Europe for a month or for an adventure trip to Laos!

This pack is clearly the result of Osprey's investment in innovation and its years of experience. If you've had a bag by Osprey in the past, you know their products are top-of-the-line. Even with these high expectations, this bag exceeds any prior expectations. It is light-weight, perfectly sized, and it's ready for any condition. If you're thinking about going on a "backpacking trip" where you'll be visiting a place with paved surfaces this is your choice. There's no reason to lug a huge pack on your back . . . roll it. Save energy for exploring!
I can't speak to the pack's usefulness in hiking. I imagine you'd be much better off using a pack that's designed for that purpose. But don't get me wrong. This pack is very comfortable as a backpack. Check it out!

Didn't really run it through tough terrain so can't report on it's durability. Wheels and handle feel sturdy and well-made. Removed the backpack harness and hip belt to lighten the overall weight since we weren't going to be hiking with it. Packed to full capacity, I can't imagine carrying it on my back using the provided harness and belt for any extended period of time.It was a little less of a structured case than I anticipated (I wasn't really looking for a duffel), but it did have reinforced sides and expanded to fit everything we packed plus all of our souvenirs from a 4 country European tour. Bought the Eagle Creek Pack-it World Traveler set which provided the structure that the bag was lacking. I used the interior and exterior straps for compression and nothing moved at all within the bag, even on the way home with lots of boxes and bags inside.
The orange color was great when hunting for luggage on the baggage carousel!I bought my first Osprey bag several years ago for backpacking. The lifetime warranty made my decision but the comfort and quality made me buy a flapjack messenger bag. I recently was promoted to a traveling job so I immediately went to Osprey for help. The price had me concerned but I knew I would be happy. Needless to say I was blown away. The quality blows every other brand out of the water. It is ready to take on the worst baggage carrier with the padded sides. It is amazing how much it can hold or compress down to hold a weekend trip securely. It rolls better than any bag I have used and the backpack option is nearly as comfortable as my Atmos 55L backpack. My flapjack clips secure to the bag and getting from baggage claim to the rental desk is a breeze. If you aren't social you may not want this bag because everyone wants to talk to you about it. Another homerun by Osprey!

First of all whoever wrote the other review does not have to worry about the plastic connections between the main pack and the smaller pack. This is not the weakest link. I have been having terrible trouble with the seams where the straps sew into the bag. I had to have both smaller bags replaced because of this issue. The company accidentally sent me a replacement bag with the wrong type of connections (this wasn't discovered until the day I left for Germany and they did send me another replacement) and I used the bag with a bad handle on the second trip. So, I can also tell you that the fabric inside the smaller pack also separated/tore from the seam.
The company has been very good with the warranty claims and I haven't had trouble with the replacements, but I also have not taken them on a strenuous trip. The concept works very well. The bag fits comfortably on my 5'4" frame for hour-long walks to the hostel. Just make sure you put your purchase through its paces before the warranty expires.I bought this bag for my most recent trip to Spain, where we flew in to Madrid and planned on going to various other cities via rail. The large bag holds so much, yet still fits carry on specifications. The daypack attached to it is perfect exactly what you need if you leave the main bag at a hostel/hotel and go exploring. Also on a plane, you can put the main bag up in the storage and keep your snacks/important documents/book/etc in the small bag on your lap. The straps that clip it to the main bag look a little bit flimsy, but they held as I was running for trains several times.
The only problem I would have with this bag is that although its straps are adjustable, I don't think they can fit every body type. I am pretty small (5' 0") and even though I had the straps at their tightest, the bag was still hung and wasn't fully supported on me. After a couple hours of carrying it, I could definitely feel it, so if I planned to take it hiking or something, this might not cut it for someone my size. The other thing is that it is pretty wide for a backpack. Definitely wider than my body, a bit difficult to walk around things with. Finally, the little laptop sleeve that comes with it only fits 13in laptops, so is pretty much a throwaway if you have something bigger.
Overall, the Airporter is an excellent bag and I love it!I had high hopes for this backpack as the design is perfect for a backpack tour of Europe. It is small enough to get onto European regional airlines (stricter carry-on standards) and it has enough capacity to support a Hosteling tour of Europe. Also, it is very hard to find a detachable daypack bag in this class of bag (capacity). The first day in Paris, two straps pulled out. The zippers are questionable but to their credit they actually lasted the trip (of course I was babying the backpack the rest of the way). Unfortunately I can not recommend this backpack though I am rooting for this company to build a robust version. If they improve it, I would try it again, but in it's current state of quality it is not ready for prime time. While the company does have a warranty, that doesn't help you if you are in a Metro station in Paris enroute to your hostel.I received the guerrilla bag and it was all that I expected. However, I returned it because it did not meet what I was looking for after I saw it. No complaints about the bag itself. Just not what I wanted.

Super Cute! Not generic looking. Holds all of my books for school, which is amazing! I would definitley purchase this again!Want Olympia Luggage Sports Plus Rolling Shopper Tote Discount?
I bought one of these totes four years ago to carry my lunch, books, papers to be graded and my laptop computer back and forth to work. It has been used daily for four years now and is still going strong. I liked it so much, I bought another for travel (so I don't have to unload my school bag each time I take a trip.) Though no laptop compartment, it works very nicely with my neoprene zippered computer pouch I purchased to cushion my laptop a bit more. Holds a great deal I am even able to carry my small lunch cooler in it daily as well. I'd highly recommend it to save carrying your parcels on shoulders and backs I couldn't live without it!!Back to School Saving - Disney Minnie Mouse Day Dreaming Minnie Large Rolling Backpack and Gift Too

Clothing and electronics stayed dry!
I have recomended this pack to many of my coworkers. This item packs into itself great feature when storing not in use... lightweight with comfortable straps that tightly secure to your back. The folding portion that seals at the top of the bag seems a little loose to ensure the water tight seam, but I guess Ill find out soon enough. This is not waterproof. It's very flimsy and an awkward shape. The only way to open it is a Velcro flap at the top.

Its comfortable to carry. Beautiful colors. The material inside will last for a very long time.
It's big enough to put my 15.6" laptop. & there are lots pockets in it.
What's more is that I got it during thanx giving time for a reduced price.
My sister & friends really like & planning to buy one.

Sherpani Sonoma Backpack (15.7 x 13.8 x 5.1-Inch)My partner has rated this for me as 10/10 she says it is a good Size, can hold a lot, plenty of pockets. I have read some comments about the art work being fuzzy but she thinks the art is charming. This colour may not appeal to many people but you have a choice dependant on availability. Reasonable price and shipping was reasonable to. I tried to buy the handbag in a different colour buy there were none avalible.I purchased this bag as a companion piece to the messenger bag that I have in the same pattern. It is roomy and I can fit two wallets, two newspapers, my lunch and still have room. The one thing I do not like which is why I give this 3 stars is that the top is zippered closed and then you pull it shut with the strings. That was in the product description, but it turns out that the zipper is small, ackward, and an absolute pain to work, sometimes you can't get it together and it separates. You cannot just close it with the strings, someone could easily reach their hand inside and grab your wallet, so closing it with just the strings on a CTA bus or a Metra train is not a good idea. So I won't be using this bag every day, too bad the zipper part really kills it for me.This backpack is really cool. It looks great and has lots of room. I love the design and bought it for my daughter going in to high school. It seems to be well made also.Wildkin Soccer Bags

The body of the MERLIN backpack is made from tough 420-denier coated nylon fabric to take advantage of its ability to fold into a small configuration. Frontal pockets are made from 1000-denier coated nylon fabric. When completely folded its size is 8" x 5" x 4" and when open it will hold 1080 cubic inches of gear. In addition, it is capable of holding a 100 oz. hydration bladder although I have not used this bag for that purpose. When empty the bag only weighs 17.8 oz.
Potential uses:
1. Leave in your vehicle in case you need a backpack. It doesn't take up a lot of room.
2. Leave at your place of work as a Bug Out Bag!
3. It is a great secondary backpack if you are hiking or collecting items and need a place to store your items.
4. Great pack to use at a theme park to store wet clothes or to store extra dry clothes.
5. Great at the beach to carry towels and other needed items such as sun block and hats.
6. Awesome light weight bag if you are out camping and want to take a light backpack with minimal necessities.
7. Use at a park to throw in gear if playing sports.
8. Can even function as a really cool diaper bag if you have kids.
There are plenty of uses you can dream up for this backpack. The shoulder straps do not have padding and there is no chest strap but this in no way should detract you from this backpack. There are some MOLLE attachments to add on gear if needed.
This is a very strong and versatile backpack with many potential uses. You won't be disappointed with this Maxpedition MERLIN Folding Backpack.
