My bag was better than I had anticipated. Even though it was my second choice, it has proved its worth.
This appears to be a nice product but it was WAY too small for my dog. I purchased the medium size for my rottie healer (she's about 45 pounds) and this was sized more for a teacup chiwawa or something. Definitely wasn't going to work for me so I will be returing it. It seemed like it was decently made and the quality of the materiel was nice if you have a little puppy.

I bought this for my tablet. The fit is nice. The design is pretty but the strap must be merely for show. It broke the 2nd time I used it.
This bag is great. I like to have two big pockets for my laptop in one and my notebooks in the other. I have had this backpack for at least 4 years. The bag has out lasted the zippers. I would keep this bag, if there was a way I could fix the zippers. This bag is worth the money!

I was looking for a moderately priced backpack for a 'flashpacking' adventure in Asia. I was most excited about the carry-on size and the detachable day pack. The backpack has held up considerably well during my 6 week trek in Asia, but the daypack which I use...everyday....has started to tear at the seams. Honestly, I was expecting a little more life out of the product. Great design idea....mediocre quality.
The socks are good quality and very warm. My fiance loves them. The socks may not seem soft on the outside, but they are cozy on the inside (and that's what counts, right?)

Great looking and feeling socks though I recommend wearing them over a comfortable pair of sock liners rather than directly against the skin. It's not that cold out yet in NY, so I don't really know how warm these will keep me, but so far they look and feel great. I will probably be ordering more.

I originally bought this with hopes of proving to myself that shoulder bags are better than backpacks -turns out this isn't the case (which is the only reason I gave this 4 stars). I had the previous model which was sold in Apple stores. I loved that one. It eventually ripped out where the strap attached to the bag, so I bought this one to replace it. Same company, same bag? Nope. Quality is lower. The strap seems thinner, and the coating seems to be less. It is hard to say if it will hold up as well as the first, but it just doesn't feel as well made. On the other hand, I spent 50% more for the previous one in the Apple store, so maybe there are actually two models without a visual distinction.

I purchased this item about 6 months ago and really liked it. It has ample storage space for my laptop, tablet, kindle, and all of the associated plugs, wires, and cables that are needed. It feels solid when you grab it and wear it and it protects the items inside very well due to a good amount of padding/cushioning. The only problem I have with it is that after about 4 months the seam inside the bag that separates the laptop compartment from the large accessories compartment has frayed and is coming apart. It wasn't ripped, the fabric just seems to have loosened and come undone from the single stitch that was holding it. I don't know if I stressed the bag at the wrong spot or what, but it doesn't seem like it is structurally sound at this point.
I saw an industrial serviceman that had one of these packs and asked him about it. Because he works all over the world and carries his backpack every where, he said backpacks normally last him six months. His backpack was two years old and looked like new. We were near a computer so I asked him to help me find it on-line. I went to Amazon... Looked up Swissgear backpack... as soon as we found it I wiped out the charge card a bought one.

I have hunted for several years for a bag like this to replace the one I was carrying (very similar style but not as secure or roomy). I was not having any luck finding one in leather that was UNDER 100.00 (i.e. affordable to me)!! The pricing was right on. Because of how long it took me to find this bag, I bought 2 one in black and one in cafe (from 2 different sources but around the same price)so that I can change ovre easily when I want a differnt color. This is the third time I have purchased this backpack. I love it does everything I want, including carry my IPad! and when I need it my umbrella! However, I still find the dye comes off, mostly when I am walking around in a hot, humid climate . I should have looked at a ruler when I read about the size of this thing, because it is tiny. I purchased it for my 3-year-old to take on our hikes. It has just about enough room for a juice box and his child-size binoculars. Still, it is cute, and he seems to really like it. It is literally as big as my hand with my fingers spread. When he outgrows it I may be able to use it as a coin purse to carry inside my purse.

It is extremely well made. The pockets, handle, and included strap are a very nice touch. I am very happy I went with this one. Plus, the design is actually pressed into the neoprene so it looks great and makes the bag different for the average sleeve. The 16 in is a little tight on my 15.6 in widescreen laptop, but this guarantees that my computer does not slide around.

Lovely case. I work in a big complex and have a heavy laptop due to my line of work. I bought this so I don't have my hands full with PC, notebook, pen, folder and i phone, when walking between buildings multiple times a day. It holds all of that well, the issue is that the shoulder handle is so thin that it hurts my shoulder so I can only use the short handle. This is one heck of a bag! The quality and craftsmanship are superb. The materials are top-notch. When you open the main flap and observe the quality of the leather, you are amazed at the thickness of the hides, and recognize that this bag will last for many, many years. My 15.5" laptop fits in perfectly. The middle compartment has thick, leather half-round "bumpers" stitched into the sides and bottom to protect the computer if it is bumped or dropped. Make sure that your laptop will fit the bumpers will not compress much if you have a larger machine. If you have a widescreen laptop >16", this bag is probably not for you. Verify measurements. Plenty of storage for pens, cards, papers, power supply, cords, medicine, mouse...you name it. Shoulder strap is long and comfortable. Backstraps (for use as a backback) seem to be a novelty, but they function fine (who would wear this as a backpack??) Quality, quality, quality! Wine red finish is beautiful and classy. Other finishes, given the quality of leathers, must be stunning, and would likely wear like a fine leather jacket. Long was a pleasure to deal with excellent communication, helpful, and quick shipping. (Can you tell that I am loving my new briefcase???) A great buy for a great product. Thank you!

This is a great backpack. I'm a fan of Case Logic camera bags, so this didn't come as a huge surprise. Much like the camera bags it's sturdy and full of useful compartments, in addition to being comfortable to wear. Some of the compartments seem a bit random--do I really need a lower-back pocket?--but I've yet to find this to be an inconvenience. I was impressed when it held up in an unexpected downpour; I wouldn't leave it out in the rain for terribly long, but books and laptops will definitely survive a 10-block sprint through the rain.

I had the opportunity to lug this backpack on an international trip right after it arrived, so I could test its battle-readiness right away. Overall I am satisfied; its small size belies its volume and the padding at the back is better than what appears. I could easily fit my 15 inch laptop along with two books, a kindle and some small accessories. After this there was little space left, however. I carry my MacBook Pro 15 (Retina) and my iPad in a Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio fine. The MacBook Pro fits (barely) but the iPad + case fits nicely. I also carry the charging cables, an Apple Magic Trackpad, and a Seagate Slim 500 GB Portable Hard Drive. I don't carry books or papers (I don't need to, since I use digital versions). I also occasionally carry a water bottle, which fits in one of the side pockets.
This bag is large enough to stow a generous amount of gear that I need during my day: a nice big wallet, a little cosmetics bag, a couple of folded-up reusable grocery bags, a sweatshirt, a snack, a library book. My immense 24-oz OXO travel tea tumbler fits in the bottle pocket on the side. And I use the compression straps for my yoga mat. A further bit of excellence: the bag is designed so that you can twist it around and access the pockets while wearing it. The little pocket located on the strap is easily large enough for my Samsung Galaxy SIII. There is even a padded, felt-lined pocket for a tablet or a Kindle. Despite being so capacious, it never feels too big or bulky or gets in my way. It has grab-straps sewn onto the larger strap so that it's easy to grab and lift the bag from any angle, and also there's always a place to clip your keychain onto. It has multiple pen slots and card/stuff slots in the large front organizer area, plus the convenient open front pocket for that power bar/parking card/packet of tissues you need rapid access to. This bag is pretty close to perfect!

I have been using these bags since I first bought one in Stockholm almost ten years ago. The design is great--they are very lightweight, comfortable with reasonable loads, and obviously classic looking. Unfortunately they are overpriced for what they are. I bought a new bag about a month ago and I'm not impressed with the durability. It seems like the prices have gone up a lot without any increase in manufacturing quality. For a small daypack that costs $75, you'd expect it to be something better made than a Wal-Mart item. But the fabric on the inside started fraying immediately and now a small hole has appeared on the bottom of the pack. I love these bags for their style and function, but I really feel a bit stupid for paying so much for a bag that look so beat up after only a month of use. I've never gotten a hole in any of my other backpacks, even ones I've use for multiday trips in the backcountry.

I had one of these packs years ago, before it was a fashion pad. I have to say the boxy design is a turn off. They look cute on kids, but for adults it is not flattering. The straps are not too comfortable, so I would not put more than one to two books. The main compartment and the accessory pocket are both not huge, don't expect to put a MEAD notebook in them. The removable cushion on the back is a plus if you are using it for outdoor purpose. The side pocket is very narrow and would not fit most water bottle (maybe a smallish plastic evian). The material is not too durable, mine worn down quickly within a year; and $75 for a pack is (cheap by Swedish standard) but expensive by frugal US standard. The laptop sleeve is great quality; the problem is the sizing is way off. I had read other review of this product which said that the laptop sleeve ran small and suggested that you buy a size bigger than your computer, and I did. I bought a 17" laptop sleeve for a 15.4" widescreen laptop and the Built NY 17" laptop sleeve was still too small for my computer or to be specific it was still too narrow for my computer. Amazon lists the external dimensions as 16.9 in L x 11.8 in W x .5 in D. The 11.8 in W measurement that is listed is from the ends. The hour glass part in the middle is around 10.4 inches wide, so if your computer is wider than about 9.5 inches don't buy this laptop sleeve.

This is an extremely well made sleeve for a laptop. I have a Toshiba 17" laptop and I bought this sleeve because of the outstanding workmanship. It fits my laptop like a glove. It is made of wet suit material which offers more cushion than another sleeve I used on my 15" laptop. It zips on the side instead of the front so it offers more protection for the computer. I own a 14 inch HP Pavilion Laptop and I think this product was especially made for it. It's an EXACT fit and I love it. I'm not sure how it would fit with a 15 inch computer as it seems there wouldn't be room for another inch but if you have a 14 inch computer this is perfect. With that said, the material does stretch a bit so maybe it could.
