Finally, a smarter way to put a tag on my luggage. Our family moved about a year ago and I had to remember each time we traveled to check the assorted bags to make sure the luggage tags had the new address. I was given some Dynotags as a gift and now when we move again, I can easily update all of the tags by making one simple change from my computer. Great idea. These work as advertised. I got the luggage tags as a gift and have been using them for several months. I periodically test the tags to see if the associated link is appropriate and have had no problems. It's very handy to be able to change the associated information as things change.Want Dynotag Web/GPS ready to use QR Smart Luggage Tags - 2 Identical Tags+Chains Discount?
This is an excellent product. It works as advertised and I've retired my all collection of suitcase tags! Now only one tag, dynotag :)These could be the last luggage tags you buy. I do wish they were a bit more robust in their construction.Osprey Packs Escapist 20 Backpack

The price is great compared to most other bags with same size and features. I paid $85 on amazon (with Prime). I had been planning a trip to climb Kilimanjaro and needed my first bag. The bag came and i worried it maybe too small. However, so long as you pack each light, i was able to pack a weeks worth of clothes and gear (around 30 lbs). I did not need to carry food and cooking supplies. I was also able to use this as my carry-on without problems. the camel-back pocket works great and has a hose hole on both sides. The bag could use an extra pocket on both sides just for convenience for smaller supplies and quicker access, but is very useful with the few it does have. The built in rain cover is plenty big and durable even with extras strapped outside the bag. The straps and frame are perfectly comfortable for 30lbs and 5-15 hrs a day. The bag made it through the 2 week trip with heavy usage with minimal wear and tear. I did notice a few seams starting to pull apart once i was home and unpacking but nothing that was even close to something i would be worried about yet or even while on the trail. The most important stitches and seams were fine.Read Best Reviews of High Sierra Tech Series 59205 Hawk 45 Internal Frame Pack Here
I bought this pack based on its size and price. I love it, it is lightweight, has extra compartments in the waist straps and a very appropriate handle I never seen in similar packs. I recommend it.Want High Sierra Tech Series 59205 Hawk 45 Internal Frame Pack Discount?
This was what I expected and a well thought out pack, good quality. One flaw, the handle on the front compartment had missed stitching and I will have to have someone stitch the under side material where the stitching was missed, otherwise a great pack. Quality control needs to be checked by the manufacturer. Other wise would be 5 star.Reebok Ball Backpack with 15" Laptop Sleeve Black 483661041

Gave as gift, brother in law loved it;) it is really nice and sturdy cute bag for a male giftI've been looking for a small daypack that didn't look like it was made for a 10-yr-old for a while. I have a tendency to over-pack, hence the desire for something on the smaller side. This daypack fits the bill. It has plenty of space for snacks/lunch, a hat, rain jacket, collapsible trekking poles, and other miscellaneous items, such as a small first aid kit, cell phone (just in case the bears need to contact someone...), camera, wallet, insect repellant, etc. I shoved a 24-oz water bottle in one of the water bottle pockets with no problem. I don't feel a need to use the sternum or waist straps and will probably remove them at some point. I bought the blue/smoke version, and am very pleased with the color. The material is tough. I haven't used it in the rain yet, but it seems like the material will be relatively water-repellant (although I wouldn't trust it to be completely water proof). So far, I'm very pleased with this pack.Bought this backpack primarily because I wanted the outside stretchy bands for carrying stuff that I wanted easily accessible, like a vest. The backpack is good sized and carries all that is needed in a day's adventure. The outside side pockets are perfect for waterbottles, and there is ample room in the larger compartment for lite weight jackets, cameras, binocs, etc. A good day pack.Overboard Waterproof 25L Backpack Yellow
From the reviews and for the price I thought I was getting a good value; but, at least from my experience , I definitely would not recommend this item!So far I've used this waterproof backpack for one hiking excursion and it was fine. I've also used it for carrying items to & from work on public transportation on heavy downpour days without a problem. One things to note: there is no no outer zipper. There is only a zipper for the inside flap pocket. If having an outside zipper is crucial to you do not purchase this item. To close the bag, you have to roll the top edges of the bag together downward and then snap close the side closures on each side of the bag. There is a triangular-shaped reflector on the lower front portion of the bag, which is a help when walking at night so that drivers can see you easily when you are crossing the street. The shoulder straps are well padded and very comfortable. Very easy to adjust. The bag is very deep inside (26 inches) and I was able to put two blankets and numerous items inside with no complications. The zippered inner flap pocket is 12 inches deep. There a 7-inch deep web pocket on each side of the bag. Good for placing water bottles. The material of the bag is a rubberized type. The WSRS (Waterproof Store Rating System) waterproof rating for this bag is Class 3. Bag capacity is 25 liters. A full-color instruction card comes with the bag, provides photo instructions for closing the bag.

This backpack is awesome! High quality for a good price! Used it at the lake while JetSki'n this past weekend.Comfortable straps! It has two extra straps that buckle in the center to hold it straight and secure. Stays put during the ride and doesn't wobble around.
Seals nicely at the top. You roll the top down a few times and either buckle it together or onto the sides. I was a little hesitant about the seal, but it works out great. Makes it easy to get in & out and Kept all my items dry.
I'm very happy with this product. Highly recommend!

From the photo I didn't realize how big this backpack it is. It would have helped to have a manechin wearing this backpack to fully understand the size. I wanted a water proof light small backpack to wear it everytime I go on the shore from the boat, but this one is way too big and super heavy. I had to return it.Want Overboard Waterproof 25L Backpack Yellow Discount?
The Overboard Waterproof backpacks keeps you kit dry. This 25L size is just right. The 20L is two small for most outdoor activities I take part in. The 30L is just too big. This 25L is really a good fit for me and my activities. Overboard apparently don't market this size anymore. So finding this one was great. These backpacks aren't loaded with pockets and compartments. Just basically one big compartment inside. It does have a smallish interior pocket. Good for keys, glasses etc. The wide padded shoulder straps and back support makes for a comfortable carry of your gear. Snorkel/scuba/boat trips, beach activities or hikes in inclement weather are what this pack was made for.It may be a kind of niche product. But it fills that wet, dusty, sandy niche well.
Lowepro Vertex 200 AW Backpack
Pros: Despite the previous reviewers comments, I found the Vertex 200 to be very comfortable when it was completely adjusted. But to adjust it for maximum comfort I tightened all the straps very tight. Between the waist strap, shoulder straps and the chest strap, I thought it was about as comfortable as any other way for me to carry that much gear without being a roll-bag. I like that the zippers are water-proof even though I never had to test that feature. The top handle is sturdy and comfortable when the bag is off.
It's well padded and comes with many re-configureable velcro compartment walls for the interior. Shoulder straps are also very padded and comfortable when the waist and chest strap are fastened.
Cons: The laptop shouldn't be in the front flap. I'm not sure I understand the design decision of putting one of the heavier items in the whole pack on the front flap that requires lifting to get to the contents. Then when you want to fully open the pack, you have to make sure your laptop encased in the flap has a flat surface to rest upon. You certainly can't fling it open with reckless abandon.
I agree with the previous reviewer that the laptop placement also tends to make the bag tippy. Luckily my MBP doesn't weigh very much, but I can imagine if my wife's hp 15" laptop were in there it would be more of a problem. On top of that, it levers the weight of the computer further away from the body's center of gravity when being worn.
Conclusion:
The laptop placement and the somewhat useless expandable pockets on the side are the only things preventing me from giving this bag 5 stars. It is obviously very sturdy and protective. It performed great and I walked quite far with it without pain. A considerable feat for someone with bad knees like me.
If I were making the choice again I might look at the Kata backpack more closely as they decided to put the laptop closest to the body of the wearer. But I also preferred the subdued look of this bag.Bottom line: a sturdy well-built pack that could use some design improvements.
After obsessing over camera packs I chose the Lowepro Vertex 200 and brought it to Boston for a 5 day photoshoot. It was loaded down with a Canon Rebel body, 17-40 lens, 50mm lens, small tripod, flash, 14 inch laptop and various accessories. Total weight 25.6 lbs (according to airport scale)
For reference, I'm an avid backpacker and have tried on and purchased many high-end packs before.
What I like: It's stylish and built like a tank. (but weighs as much as one) Feel confident your gear will be safe inside. There are dozens of pockets and it is very customizable. Sealed zippers are a nice touch, usually found only on high-end technical packs.
Complaints: The accessory pockets on the front and inside are not wide enough for the manuals. The outer side pockets are not good for much either, I normally stick a water bottle in there. The laptop sleeve is positioned at the front of the bag, which makes the pack very tippy. It would be more stable tucked next to your back.
My biggest complaint is the harness. Due to excessive flight delays at Boston Logan, I wore this pack for 3 or 4 hours walked a mile or two. By the end of the day, my shoulders and back were killing me. Lowe makes some excellent packs for backpackers, which is why I was so surprised at the crappy suspension. It just hangs on your back.
Maybe I'm spoiled by my Atmos 50 by Osprey Packs. I've packed 35 pounds and it feels great. At $229, I expect more.

I bought this pack just before a 3 week trip to Patagonia. It had no problem carrying all my photo gear and laptop for the trip. Overall it's a good pack, can use a lot of improvement in the comfort area. This pack, as all backpacks do, suffers from the "take off the pack, put it on the ground, get out your stuff" problem, but that's unavoidable with a backpack. On the other hand, the nice thing about the pack is that the quick access zipper pouches are very nice. All of your batteries, memory cards and filters are very accessible. This is about as good as it gets with a backpack.
The major drawback to this pack I found was that it's not comfortable to wear, particularly on longer hikes. Lowepro is known to make solid, comfortable packs but this is not one of them. A friend and I both had the pack and despite all the adjustment straps we couldn't get the load to distribute comfortably. In fact, in both of our cases, the shoulder straps buckled right where they met the backpack. The pack just didn't fit correctly.

I won't go in to too much of a review of the useful aspects of the 200 other than to say for my needs it's great. I love the organizational possibilities, the high level of protection and the weather proof zippers and rain cover. A lot of great attention to detail with this pack. What I want to focus on is being 6'4" tall and needing a pack that carries well on my back. I tried the Vertex 100 and with the shoulder straps fully extended the waistband still hit me above my naval, by several inches! All I needed was a pair of PeeWee Herman pants and I'm ready to go cover a golf tournament!
The added two inches in length of the 200 made all the difference. The 300 would probably be perfect for fit but the 200 is better for travel as a carry on piece and also to hold my current photo kit. The shoulder straps are well padded and comfortable as is the waist belt. There is a sternum strap to hold the should straps in place and when properly adjusted the pounds disappear as I carry it.
One other feature I really like is the tripod carrying possibilities. The best is down the middle in the back but you can also carry it on either side to maintain easier access to the main compartments but depending on your tripod this may make the load off balanced too much.
From a tall guy, I love this pack.

1. First of all, it must be clearly stated that photo backpack reviews are going to be highly subjective... similar to whether or not one brand of shoes fit for one person etc...2. With the above being said, I've tried many photo backpacks (Tamrac Expedition, ALL of the other Lowepro backpacks); the Vertex series is the best overall compromise of them all. And it is a compromise. There is no perfect photo backpack. Ultimately, it comes down to for what purpose one is going to need the backpack for, the amount of gear they need to carry etc... With that being said, most serious photographer will have several camera bags etc...
3. What I like about this backpack is:
a. It is well made, just like all of the Lowepro product (they are the overall best camera bag company)
b. The harness is the best of the bunch; absolutely no question about it. Furthermore, the harness system has all of the various straps to fine tune the fit, which is important, the more you carry.
c. The bag has enough of the little various pockets that a photographer will require.
d. The cpu slot; not essential to me but ok. I would agree with the other reviewers in that if a good quality cpu slot is important, having it out front may be a modest problem. But if you're going to use it to mainly carry your cpu during basic travel; it should be good enough. I'm assuming that most photographers who are going to be hiking through the woods aren't going to be lugging along a laptop...
e. The inside has enough dividers to do whatever you want to do with it. I use about 60% of it for my camera gear and 40% for my hiking gear (jacket, food etc...).
4. Cons? As most others have mentioned--> size--> ie bulk, yea--> it looks like a photo backpack because it is. ie it looks like you're walking around with a box on your back, but thankfully it doesn't feel like it. And since it's well made--> yea, there is some heft to it.
5. Tangent: my fantasy photo backpack would be to have a hybrid backpack, that actually works and fits like this pack. Tamrac and Lowepro do make such hybrid packs, but do not be fooled; it's not the best of both worlds, but rather failed attempt... Until that day happens when the perfect photo backpack comes along--> get the Vertex Series without hesitation.

Laptopupto 15 inches comfortably.
Ipad
Laptop charger
2 textbooks
2 binders and 2 notebooks

stationery and cellphone in the front pocket.Great bag. Just got it brand new. Got it delivered second day. Price was very reasonable for the backpack. Perfectly fits 15.6" laptop (Dell Studio 1555). The tag also says it fits laptops upto 15.6". Comes with a 3 Year limited term global warranty. Is overall nice built. Compact. Not too large. But spacious and lots of compartments, including bottle holder. Great backpack for regular use. Although I am not sure yet whether it is waterproof or not, because I couldn't find anywhere written so. And haven't used it in rain or snow yet.

My backpack finally bit the dust and I needed another one-I hate change and I hate looking for the perfect backpackThis one is not perfect but very close -I have been using it for about a week and it is working out just fine
It keeps my little netbook safe and my precious kindle too. There are places and zippers to keep all my stuff where I can find it quick.
It is not too big. I thought I might need the big backpack but knew since I am not a large person it might be too big. The size it just right--if anything I think another small pocket on the outside for my phone would be great. There is just one and it is a tight fit for an iphone. Of course there are a lot of places and holders inside the pack.
I love the water bottle holder many bags have done away with this and this was a deal breaker. This one has two. I put water in one side and the other will fit a small umbrella if you are so inclined.
For the price and free shipping it is a great deal and a nice back pack.I purchased this item about 6 months ago and really liked it. It has ample storage space for my laptop, tablet, kindle, and all of the associated plugs, wires, and cables that are needed. It feels solid when you grab it and wear it and it protects the items inside very well due to a good amount of padding/cushioning. The only problem I have with it is that after about 4 months the seam inside the bag that separates the laptop compartment from the large accessories compartment has frayed and is coming apart. It wasn't ripped, the fabric just seems to have loosened and come undone from the single stitch that was holding it. I don't know if I stressed the bag at the wrong spot or what, but it doesn't seem like it is structurally sound at this point.
Thule EnRoute Escort Daypack for 17-Inch MacBook Pro and 10-Inch Tablets - Black (TEED-117)
This particular back pack is built for a 17 inch MacBook Pro/10 Inch tablets. I have an older HP Pavillion that fits just fine, along with an iPad and Kindle-all these (and more) fit fine in this bag. Not to mention there is plenty of room for all the "extras" people take with them. I use this bag for commuting to and from work and errands; I use it for a few extra books, chargers, water bottles, phone, sunglasses, sun block, and lunch. The pack holds all this and there is plenty of room for more.
The pack itself is heavy nylon; it feels thick, not a cheap thin material that might be more apt to wear holes in the bottom or sides. The metal zippers and straps are heavy metal, not plastic where there might be a higher chance of breakage. The back of the pack that is against your back is padded, so even if you are hauling a heavy load, you have less chance of something poking you in the back when you shift. The pack also has stabilizer straps to keep the pack in place. I personally do not use them, but I know my kids find these can be helpful when biking or carrying heavy loads. The best part of the pack is the "Safe Zone" located at the top front of the pack. It is perfect for a phone, sunglasses or camera because it is made with a hard outer shell that keeps items inside from getting smashed. I love that they thought of this AND it works perfect and is easy to get too.
Whether this is the exact "design" you are looking for, keep Thule in mind, I have yet to have a problem with their products. I know I sound like a salesman, but the products truly are quality. I have not had to call customer service or file any sort of complaint with the company. So I cannot report on how well their customer service is at this company. Hopefully, I never will need to call them! This is the perfect commuter daypack for busy people who need to have a 15" laptop/ notebook with them. The outer cover against the back is well-padded, providing a laptop protection from drops, hits or whatnot. A center compartment can carry the cords and other accessories, and a third outer compartment can carry smaller stuff like cellphone/charger, sunglasses and other business-related stuff. A "Safe Zone" on the outer side is for fragile or smaller items and is nicely padded against slams, drops or hard hits in that area.
When this pack is fully loaded it spreads out nicely but does not hamper movement, as the sides to this pack are narrow.
The pack is, as shown, all black with some blue zipper covers. Empty this pack weighs 2.4 pounds, so that alone should limit the use to urban commuting with electronics. This would not be a good gym bag as none of the compartments are large for bulky items, nor would this be an ideal backpack for day hikes for the same reason because most of the padding is centered against the back to protect a laptop. I also would not recommend this as a carry-on for the same reasons already stated unless you are a minimalist. The best use for this pack is for the office person or commuter.
Compression straps on the side help keep the load streamlined. There is one small mesh pouch on either side of the pack for 16-ounce water bottles.
The color is basic black, which is ideal for business environments.

As far as the construction goes, this backpack seems quite sturdy. It has adjustable chest and hip straps for stability. it also has front to back straps to compress the volume if the pack is not full. The sections that are padded are quite sturdy, and there are loads of pockets. A semi-hard pocket is on the outside for easy accessibility of sunglasses or a small electronic device.Unfortunately, the chest strap will not go high enough to avoid pinching a female chest, and the straps over the shoulders are way too broad for me. Also the shoulder straps are too long for my shorter torso and cannot be adjusted to fit, even at the tightest adjustment.
This would probably be a great pack for a gentleman carrying an ipad or laptop, but it just didn't work for my short torso and fuller figured frame. I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone who needs to transport laptops or electronic equipment. The construction is such that it is excellent quality and padded to protect. The storage is not the typical that would be found in a regular backpack, but is laid out for electronics. Enjoy!I was really expecting so much from this backpack. Having owned lots of Thule products for my vehicles, I assumed their backpack would be made to the same high level of quality. I was very wrong.
I have owned other cheaper backpacks by Swiss Gear, Targus, and Samsonite which all looked and felt much better. This feels about the same quality as a cheapo Jansport backpack with a little extra padding. Except for the inadequate padding in the bottom of the backpack. I cringed when setting it on the ground as I could feel my laptops smashing onto the surface.
The material which this backpack is made is thin and I question its durability. Think $10 backpack at the local walmart and that's about the quality of this backpack.
The straps are barely padded and the handle is just about the same.
Zippers, while metal, do not open and close smoothly. Upon first opening the backpack, some of the material was already caught in the zipper and took a few minutes to rectify.
Buckles, Buckles, and more buckles to go with the numerous straps.
Not very roomy but will accomodate a 15" rMBP and 15" monster HP laptop at the same time. But not much else!
Packed up and on its way back to Amazon.

Alchemy Goods Union Backpack, Made from Recycled Bike Tubes, Ash/Black
Sometimes I use it to carry very heavy items, like four 1.25 inch thick full size text books, or two medium format cameras with lenses and tripod. I also live in China and travel a lot, so I use it as my carry-on bag on the plane.
I take this bag on my daily commutes to work on my motorcycle, sometimes through the rain. The bag has proven rain proof at high speeds many times and the two reflectors in the back give me a sense of safety on the road.
I get compliments and comments like "is that thing made out of..." while they inspect it, love it!!!It holds a ton of stuff, sits comfortably on my back and seems to be completely waterproof, judging by the downpour I went through last week. The water just beads up and you can wipe it off. The only quibbles: since the top is only covered by a flap, water could possibly get in the top during really heavy rain (this did not happen to me yet); also, the straps are adjustable and sometimes they adjust to full slack when there is no tension (but the straps are very easy to adjust, which is important to do to suit each load and, while wearing it, the straps stay put very well).

This backpack is one of the greatest things I've ever used. I've had mine for over a year now, and it shows very little wear, as opposed to my Timbuk2 backpack...that sadly, I have to replace about every year. The build quality and attention to detail are only something you can get in a small-production shop (in my opinion) and this definitely has it. It is nice that it is made from recycled materials, and it absolutely gets a lot of compliments. But it is understated enough to not be flashy.Reflective striping in the back has saved me numerous times, I just know it.

Diaper Dude Messenger Ii Diaper Bag
This bag has multiple pockets, some velcro'd, some zippered, and some open and there's the zippered roomy central area under the main flap with mesh pockets all around it.
This bag comes with a changing pad that can be folded into a small square and stroller straps to hang the bag on your stroller.
I liked how the bag was carried messenger style and the mobile phone pocket fit my Nokia N95 8GB without any problems. My wife was taking items from the front pockets while I was carrying the bag.
After using this bag, I think it can be used even by dudes without babies because all the pockets can be used for other things. And it looks great!
Note: When I ordered my bag through amazon it came with the changing pad but no stroller straps. I contacted the nice people at diaper dude and they immediately sent me one. So make sure you check yours when it arrives!

My husband didn't want a "girly" diaper bag so we finally found this one and thought it was a bit pricey but it seemed to fit our requirements. The only good thing I can say about it is it's not white so it doesn't show the dirt. The strap doesn't come off. So if you're a tall guy (my husband is 6'5") and need a longer strap to carry the bag at a comfortable height forget it. You can clip a longer strap on but then you still have the dude strap dangling there. The zipper for the back pocket is awkward to get to and open. Also, the back pocket is narrow and really doesn't hold much big waste of space. Also the metal pull on the zipper snapped in half leaving a jagged edge. The bag doesn't stand up on it's own so if you are trying to get stuff out of the bag while holding down a wriggling baby/toddler the bag just falls over and then you have to try to get it back up and get your stuff....
We contacted Diaper Dude to let them know of the cheap quality of their zippers and didn't hear a word back from them.
Spend your money on something else. You earned it, you deserve better customer service (I'm refering to Diaper Dude and not Amazon) and a better bag.I like the idea of the bag and the number of pockets. The quality, however, wasn't there. I saw a couple of small issues early on--problems with stitching not completed or velcro peeling off (after a week) and didn't use it much. The strap broke off as if I'd been carrying a ton of bricks or used it every day for a year. I contacted the company, who asked for photos. Then they said I could ship it to them and provide a credit card number to ship it back after they determined if it should be replaced or fixed. I definitely shouldn't have to pay for shipping both ways, or take pictures for them. I never even got an apology for the very serious inconvenience (it broke in the middle of a parking lot as I was on the way to an emergency doctor appointment, and everything went flying). Big fail. I bought a Reese Li, which is infinitely sturdier, and called it a day.
Dakine Girls Jewel Back Pack
The only problem I could see with this bag is when it is loaded up with books in the front pocket, it is very difficult to fit my 13 inch laptop into the laptop compartment, or place water bottles in the pockets on the sides. This would be even more difficult with a larger laptop, so take that into consideration.
It arrived quickly, and is of very solid construction. I love it.

My daughter had been looking for a backpack for about 6 months, when she found this one. The best thing is the back straps. They have an extra loop at the top that spreads out the weight between both shoulder straps. She is in High School always has a ton of books, so it gets very heavy. With the new straps, it really distributes the weight evenly to not put so much pressure on her back. Of course she loves all the pockets (especially the padded one for her laptop, and she loved the pattern. The only bad thing was that it came shipped to us with the security tag still on it. I called customer service and they were very helpful in giving me instructions on how to remove it.
We have been through so many backpacks over the years, we wish we would have known about the Dakine brand before. The colors are beautiful, I ordered it in Lolani... not to bright like I was afraid of. I love Dakine because of the quality of the material and all there products seem to have alot of pockets, this bag is no exception. The bag is LOOOONG, I am 5'4 and the bottom of the bag lands just at my hips, and the straps are at there shortest. Not only is the bag long, but the depth of the backpack is farily narrow. I can fit quite a few books in the bag, but I have to stack them. I am returning this bag and ordering DAKINE Girl's Prom Pack, same color. I did give it 3 stars because of the quality and color, just not happy with the size of the bag.LOVE LOVE LOVE this backpack! It fits EVERYTHING perfectly....I have had it for about a month and shockingly everything is still very organized in it. This is because the pockets and zippers are so well designed. It has a separate zipper/pocket for your laptop (I have a Macbook Pro 13" and it fits just great), the insulated pocket for food is such an awesome perk! It fits soooo much more than you would think and if something spills it doesn't make a mess in the rest of the backpack. I love the straps they fit perfect and it is so lightweight I can carry all of my books (~7 books/15-20 lbs)and my laptop without a problem. This is BY-FAR the best backpack I have ever owned...and I am so glad I bought it! :)
