Oakley Men's Small Icon Backpack

Perfect small bag for my car. This bag is small, so if you are looking for a hiking bag this is not it.

The goods:

-nice small bag w/ enough pockets

-looks cool, I like the style

-the outside pockets are large enough to be useful

-the organizer pocket and straps can expand out to hold more if needed

-other than the 2 outside side pockets, it has a side pocket for a 13" laptop, kindle, ipad, notepad. it also has a padded top pocket w/ a hole for your headphones and a small mesh pocket on the front. these pockets can be accessed w/o undoing the clips.

The bads:

-'organizer pocket' is not completely sealed. If I flip my bag over a few times the heavier items (bic lighter, small leatherman) fall out

-if all is fastened, you gotta undo 3 buckles, fold the top back, then unzip to get into the main pouch.

I would give this 5 stars if the organizer pouch was more secure. An organizer pouch is supposed to organize and secure small items. With this bag being so small, I tend to not always carry and place it upright. I think I will add some velcro to 1 of the organizer pockets (the 1 that holds my lighter and leatherman) and it should be secure enough.

Gave this to my brother for christmas, he's been wanting a smaller book-bag for when he goes out to take his iPad with him. Fits perfect!

The person who wrote the pack is small, is right. It is small, but for me fits everything I need every day without being too cumbersome, and it LOOKS cool. What more can I say? As for the straps, I never lock them, as the zipper and closed flap keeps everything in place. I would only use the straps if I want absolute security or hiking a cliff or something.

All the pockets and places to put stuff is great!

I have an all-black one, and time-to-time, people stop me and ask where I've gotten this pack as they like the size and look.

I've had this for years and use it nearly everyday, throw it around in the car, etc., and it's held up amazingly. One strap has broken as it got yanked by the dog, and one zipper pull-tab has broken off, but I've been able to attach another pull in the zipper base.

The backpack is kinda expensive, but I think it's been worth it.

This is a superb bag for times when you don't need to carry the world. For hiking, a nice small daypack. For travel, an excellent pack for times when bulk needs to be limited. I was able to fit a jacket and a parka (thin for the rain), camera, extra lens, gps, cell phone, batteries, a book (not small), several small misc. items and there is room left over. The shoulder straps could be more substantial and I would not recommend this for a hike of long duration unless you beef up the thickness of the straps.

I purchased 2 of these to give as gifts to Beatles Fans. I liked the product although they were not the cloth type recycled material I was expecting. Instead they were a shiny surface type bags and not as large as I'd hoped to be used as shopping bags. So, instead I used them as useable gift wraps for a couple of additional gifts and that worked well. The only drawback to purchasing online is that you can't feel the texture of the goods. But recipients were happy, so I am happy.

Gave this to a girlfriend, who then broke up with me shortly thereafter. Of course I cared more about this bag than her, so I asked her for it back. "Awww hell naw" she said, then blocked my number.

Overboard Waterproof 25L Backpack Yellow

I purchased this backpack believing it was water resistant and durable enough to keep some clothing dry while we were riding wave runners/Jet Ski during our vacation. However in just one use we found the strip/seem that joins the front and back panels came apart. Despite the fact we only stored flip-flops a couple of shorts, polo shirts and towels it didn't keep our clothing items dry. Apparently, the thin coating in these rubberized seems aren't very durable and or are of very poor construction.

From the reviews and for the price I thought I was getting a good value; but, at least from my experience , I definitely would not recommend this item!

So far I've used this waterproof backpack for one hiking excursion and it was fine. I've also used it for carrying items to & from work on public transportation on heavy downpour days without a problem. One things to note: there is no no outer zipper. There is only a zipper for the inside flap pocket. If having an outside zipper is crucial to you do not purchase this item. To close the bag, you have to roll the top edges of the bag together downward and then snap close the side closures on each side of the bag. There is a triangular-shaped reflector on the lower front portion of the bag, which is a help when walking at night so that drivers can see you easily when you are crossing the street. The shoulder straps are well padded and very comfortable. Very easy to adjust. The bag is very deep inside (26 inches) and I was able to put two blankets and numerous items inside with no complications. The zippered inner flap pocket is 12 inches deep. There a 7-inch deep web pocket on each side of the bag. Good for placing water bottles. The material of the bag is a rubberized type. The WSRS (Waterproof Store Rating System) waterproof rating for this bag is Class 3. Bag capacity is 25 liters. A full-color instruction card comes with the bag, provides photo instructions for closing the bag.

This backpack is awesome! High quality for a good price! Used it at the lake while JetSki'n this past weekend.

Comfortable straps! It has two extra straps that buckle in the center to hold it straight and secure. Stays put during the ride and doesn't wobble around.

Seals nicely at the top. You roll the top down a few times and either buckle it together or onto the sides. I was a little hesitant about the seal, but it works out great. Makes it easy to get in & out and Kept all my items dry.

The Overboard Waterproof backpacks keeps you kit dry. This 25L size is just right. The 20L is two small for most outdoor activities I take part in. The 30L is just too big. This 25L is really a good fit for me and my activities. Overboard apparently don't market this size anymore. So finding this one was great. These backpacks aren't loaded with pockets and compartments. Just basically one big compartment inside. It does have a smallish interior pocket. Good for keys, glasses etc. The wide padded shoulder straps and back support makes for a comfortable carry of your gear. Snorkel/scuba/boat trips, beach activities or hikes in inclement weather are what this pack was made for.

It may be a kind of niche product. But it fills that wet, dusty, sandy niche well.

This luggage has already paid for itself. I take it on every trip and I take the computer bag around town at times. Seller was very communicative. I needed by a certain day before leaving for a trip for my 30th birthday. Sent them an email about it, they shipped it that day. I have never had to check it except for puddle jumper planes to small islands. Fits in overhead and carrys on. Opened box today and could smell plastic. We saw there was a "WARNING" sticker on the tag stating that it contains cancer causing substances according to California law. This listing is for a black (I really wanted some of the cool funky colors like white or yellow, but they weren't available) waist pack / bottle holder, with a clear white bottle tossed in.

First off, check the measurements on this before you order the "fits up to waist size 44 with an adjustable strap" is accurate, so if your waist size is higher, or if you intend to wear this 'belt' at the hips, check your measurements because this may be too tight. Also, the belt width is 1.5" wide, which is pretty wide for a belt check your belt loops to see if this will fit before you buy.

The included water bottle is a 20 oz. bottle, about 7" high and with a 2.5" diameter along the bottom. This isn't a particularly big water bottle, and since it fits the bottle holder perfectly, I doubt a larger bottle would work with this pouch even if the base were the same size, the extra height would probably cause the bottle to tip over out of the holder. I have my doubts about the safety of the plastic used in the "free" included bottle, so I'll likely be replacing it soon.

The zipper pouch is about the same size as the attached bottle holder the included bottle can be zipped inside the pouch, if that gives a good idea of the size. I use the pouch to store a wallet, a phone, and an mp3 player the inside of the pouch is lined with plastic and seems fairly water resistant.

The outside of the pouch features a netted pocket, but the top of the pouch isn't cinched with elastic or anything, so I don't store anything in the netted pouch it looks too easy for something to slip out. Still, if you had to show a photo ID, like a gym badge or something, at all times, then the netted outer pouch would be perfect for that.

Overall, I feel like this is a good quality pouch for the price, and I'm glad I bought it, but I do wish the belt was a little longer and a little narrower.

I purchased 2 black Everest Waist Packs with Sports Bottle for less than $2 each plus shipping, so less than $10 all together. Would love it if the seller would bundle shipping; but for the price I can't complain.

I bought for a 4-year old and a 6-year old. Wanted a water bottle and a small zippered pocket big enough for snacks, a small poncho, tissues, etc. yet small enough for kids.

4-star instead of 5-star: I needed to make a modification.

The waist is too large for little kids the belt is adjustable only on one side. For each pack, I bought a 1.5" strap holder, unsewed the end of the buckle, and re-assembled it as an adjustable strap. With both straps adjustable, they fit my skinny little 4-year old, as well as adjusting for an adult.

The construction is quality, the zipper is good, the material is fine, the engineering is decent. The bottle is uninspiring; but adequate. Nothing fancy like breathing, sweat-reducing fabric or anything like that; just a well-built simple sub-$10 pack.

This works great for what I wanted. My little people carry their own stuff. It is less cumbersome than a backpack and doesn't get taken off and left as frequently. It does get in the way a bit for a 40-lb person; but anything smaller simply wouldn't suffice to carry what she needs for a few hours of hiking, amusement park, or whatever we're up to.

Tumi Luggage Ducati Super Mono Compact Brief Pack

The straps do not allow for extension so the bag is always pressed to your back. After walking around in the summer for a few minutes, my back is a sweaty mess. It's good for motorcycle riding, but not a good daily pack.

Also, it doesn't fit my 14inch laptop with the extended battery attached.

Overall it's ok, but for Tumi, I would have expected a little more flexibility with the straps.

to be fair the review is about the brand and not on this specific backpack.

I bought a TUMI backpack after a recommendation from a friend that mentioned there is life time warranty on it (to justify the 200$ price tag).

I decided its a good deal since I was confident I will be able to keep this bag our of harms way as far as external damages.

4+ years gone by the bag started to show some chewing done by the teeth of time from normal use and I decided to go to your friendly neighborhood TUMI store, pay a fee of 15$ for the shipping to TUMI "labs" in order to get the bag fixed or replaced. got a letter a week later asking me to contact them in 30 days or they ship the bag back "as is". (no phone call follow up god forbid in spite of the fact they get all your details when you ship it back).

the lady informed me the model I had only covered by warranty for 3 years... and other than that they cant repair the bag damage.

the only option the way they see it is for me to purchase another back at a discount.

now all that was good and nice if it was the redbull bag I bought in Thailand at 2001 for 10$ (that didn't have any damage since then by the way) but its a 200$ investment we talking about here.

the lady kindly corrected me it was 189$..

of course the fact I bought the bag in Manhattan in which you pay sale tax is not something TUMI cares to much about.

I let her know they can throw the bag and that I will make sure not me or anyone else I know will purchase their overpriced bags again, and its not because the product is not good I honestly liked it while I used it but because a company that charge so much premium for a mass manufactured product has no right to exist with this type of service.

so if you are about to buy a TUMI product I implore you to factor this incident in your decision and learn from my experience.

What was i looking for?:

Before this pack, i had The North Face Recon and i really enjoyed that. I had it for about 5-6 years and i was getting bored of it. I also noticed that it had more capacity than i needed so i wanted to look for something a little smaller in size

Impressions:

Upon first inspection, the build quality is very nice. I have the all black model and the fabric has a very faint hexagon pattern on it. I have read online that this is for water repellency.

What did i not like?:

-the water bottle pouches on the side were way to small to carry a Nalgene bottle.

-the straps tend to slide off your shoulders unless you use the sternum strap

Overall:

Overall, i really enjoy this pack and i would recommend it. I think the reason that the straps fall into my armpits are because i have broad shoulders.

SOLO Vintage Leather 15.4" Laptop Tote

I just purchased this bag from Amazon last week, and I love it! It arrived within two days, even though I selected the free shipping.

The quality is great,nice stitching, nice grain of leather, and it is VERY sturdy, but not too heavy. I saw this bag in Best Buys two weeks ago for $99.99, and it was $77. on Amazon!

I have a Toshiba 15.6 screen laptop and was worried about the size of the laptop compartment, but my laptop fit fine, and the laptop compartment closes like an envelope, with velcro all the way across the flap to secure my computer. I've never done an Amazon review, but this bag was so nice, I had to comment. Definitely feminine enough, and a welcome change from the briefcase/messenger bag.

The straps are cushioned and comfortable. There are pockets and compartments for accessories, makeup, cell phone, wallet, etc. This bag is attractive enough to double as a purse. I was even able to put my lunch and a bottle of water in the large compartment, and it was nice to only have to carry ONE BAG to work! I am already receiving compliments on the bag from my colleagues! I live in a cold climate, and the bag fit comfortably over my parka. The straps are a great length. If you have to sit the bag on the floor, it stands up straight and has feet on the bottom.

Nice job Solo Products. The ONLY drawback is that I was unable to find this bag in black. If a black one comes out, I will purchase it in a heartbeat!

I just bought this Solo Bucket Bag after being bored stiff by the usual styles available and absolutely loved it at first inspection and still do. I find the oversized, padded handles extremely comfortable don't even feel it on my shoulder. The interior padded compartment for the computer is protective with a nice velcro flap and no zippers to scratch the case. Plenty of room and pockets for all the extras, and the bucket bottom with feet is very stable. It definitely is genuine leather, soft and supple. The style is feminine instead of boxy and all-business, yet makes a professional impression. Could double as a beautiful handbag on its own, in my view. I wouldn't change a thing.

This bag makes me feel like Mary Poppins. I half expect to pull a lampshade out when I'm unpacking. It's so big but because of the vertical shape it looks a reasonable size.

It's very studyI lug my laptop, folder, chargers, lunch, and makeup etc around in it everyday. There are small signs of wear but it's the kind of bag that looks better the longer you have it, like an old leather jacket. The wear is purely cosmetic, the stitching etc is holding up perfectly.

Some people have mentioned not knowing what the straps inside the bag are for. Mine seem to keep the shape of the bag nicely, I also use them to attach my keys to so they don't get lost at the bottom.

The front section is useful for phones, the laptop section is very well padded, it balances on it's own when on the floor, and the interior is a lovely colour. I recently used this as a carry on for a long flight. It was great but I had to be careful things didn't fall out when it was under the seat as there is no zip at the top.

Overall it's a perfect work bag. Everything fits in it, it's as comfortable as can be reasonably expected when carrying so much. It looks professional but not executive. Perfect.

I must have looked at over a thousand bags and read hundreds of reviews before I decided on this one. It is just as wonderful as the reviews portrayed. It has all the features I was looking for: Under 100 dollars, leather, outside pocket, stylish enough to use as a purse, colorful lining, feet, and roomy interior. Plus it has the bonus feature of being able to slide over the handle of your carry on bag. It is great for every day use and for traveling. I only wish there was more of a color choice: specifically black.

Digital Camo Laptop Backpack

Delivery was on time I order it on Friday and got it on the following Monday. Once I got the backpack I put my lap top in it and the fit was some what very snug, I really won't say I had a hard time putting in and taking out my 17" laptop but it did not come out or enter as smooth as I thought it would. As for as the comfort when wearing it on my shoulders, I would give it a 2, it is too wide for my shoulders and I don't have small shoulders.

I'm on my second pack. The inside lining where the laptop goes ripped in both case. My notebook is only a 15" Mac. With the second pack the zipper for that area is tearing from the lining. I have never had any case do that. This is poor manufactured with poor quality materials.

Even with the snug fit reported by another review, it is exactly as described. A well made, backpack to park your 17" laptop in, yes it is a snug fit, but that is a good thing I think. Kids' The Princess and the Frog Backpack with Detachable Lunch Kit - Purple

This kid's back pack is cute to look at but is not worth the price I paid. It is cheap looking and feeling and the lunch kit is too small for a full lunch and not insulated enough to keep anything cool.

Neverthelss, my little one loves the look of the backpack and is happy that mommy was able to get it for her. Too bad the quality is not better.

My daughter love this backpack. Its actually larger than I thought it would be. She's been using it now for over a year and the quality is pretty standard.

I bought this for my 4 year old niece, she loves her backpack the only problem i have is that the lunch bag is a bit small and may have to use the side compartments on the backpack to put juice or water bottles since it cannot fit in the lunch bag, it is a beautiful bag do not know how durable it will be but looks strong enough for what a preschooler would carry to school.

UPDATE:after using for 8 months the bag is durable but the lunch bag is being used as a pencil case
