McKlein Gold Coast Leather 17" Detachable-Wheeled Laptop Case

McKleinUSA GOLD COAST 43185 Black 17 Detachable-Wheeled Laptop CaseMy laptop case arrived today -superfast shipping -and it's everything the description claims and more. Comes with a sleeper bag like expensive purses, smells great, leather's soft and shiny. There are a gezillion pockets and compartments for storage. As a bona fide bag snob, I think it's a great deal for the money. The vendor could not have been nicer either.

I bought this for my boyfriend 3 years ago and he still loves it. He uses it every day and refuses to let me buy him another. Nothing has broke; the zippers are all still working. No holes or tears. Excellent bag even after 3 years of daily use. He says it's the best Christmas present he ever got! Yeah, I did good with this one.

Just got it today and it is fantastic. You guys should post more pictures. I purchased another McKlein case but returned it same day in exchange for this one. Wish I would have chosen this one first. The attention to detail (stitching, zippers, fit) and all the storage compartments are all fantastic. I know when I go to travel this is going to be a gem to whip through the airport.

I have space for my HP DV7, Canon IP100 printer, all the cords and power packs, Jambox, external DVD burner, a supply of blank CD's and DVD's with room to spare. My only complaint would be that I could fill this case up and make it too heavy to carry (HaHa, but that's what the wheels are for).

Anyway, this is a great case, wish I'd have gotten it years ago.

I bought this for my wife and she was ecstatic about the leather, that is could be removed from the cart and all the room inside. It exceeded my expectations.

Really. Outstanding. A zillion places to put things. It's adaptable, it's handsome, and a great buy. My husband loves it, and thinks I spent three times as much.

SnugPak Sleeka Force 35 Rucksack Coyote Brown

SnugPak Sleeka Force 35 Rucksack Coyote BrownI wanted a backpack that could go in an overhead compartment on an airplane but that would also hold a lot of belongings and would still be comfortable and supportive to wear. I do believe the SnugPak fits all these requirements. It's perfect for overnight trips or day hiking trips. I even took it on a 6-day trip in the U.S. when using airfare and was able to fit everything in it (and I'm a young woman who loves to accessorize!). My only complaints are that the side pockets are kind of awkward and not ideal for getting stuff in and out of them. Best to put food in them if you're hiking, or supplies you won't need immediately (if they're at the bottom).

Ive had mine for about 5 years now, and still take it everywhere. Its a tough bag for everything its been through, it still hasnt tore which is amazing. This is a great deal price wise, i spent $250 when i bought mine. This bag is perfect for a (Go-Bag) which im about to turn mine into.

Worked exactly as I had hoped. Held up great on a recent trip to Africa. Enough room to make sure you have a change of clothes, Ipad, chargers, SLR and point and shoot camera. Zippered top holds passport etc. The only thing that would make this the perfect carry on is an easy access slip for paperwork. Make sure you are a fan of top loading packs. I am.

Case Logic BTSB-116 16-Inch Laptop Backpack (Black)

Case Logic BTSB-116 16-Inch Laptop BackpackI bought this bookbag to make traveling with my laptop easier and it has. It looks better than the picture and is sturdier than thought it would be.

I love it. It's big enough to hold everything you could possibly need for your laptop. It also has all those little pockets for specific items like the laptop itself or a memory card. The padding protects all items quite well and since it's a backpack, no worry about it being too heavy. I'm very happy with this purchase.

15.4 inch Black Notebook Laptop Computer / Apple MacBook Pro 15 Contour Bold Floral Print Sleeve Ca

15.4 inch Black Notebook Laptop Computer / Apple MacBook Pro 15 Contour Bold Floral Print Sleeve Carrying Slip CaseI very carefully measured my laptop. According to the interior dimensions listed here, my laptop should have fit into this sleeve. It didn't. Aside from that annoyance, the sleeve was fine. It appeared reasonably well made, and the smell was not unbearable. I returned it due to the size issue, but I assume the faint smell would dissipate in a few days.

The only thing that would have been nice is for it to have a little more room for me to put a charger. I guess thats why people get actual computer bags. Really, thats not even that big of a deal, I just put it in my purse whenever I need it. Overall, like I said, simple but good.

A couple of years back I purchased a Lady Bug 100 tote. They were out of the black so I took what they had...a pretty teal, but not what I wanted for work. I gave it to my sister thinking I would order a black one for myself. I then forgot about it for months, and when I went to order one they were no longer available. My sister offered the teal one back to me but I still wanted something in black. I ordered a "Lubber" tote which is similar to the Optari Sol Tote, but the handles are fixed in one position, and you cannot get things in or out easily. You actually need three hands to make it work. I gave it away. The Sol tote has very cleverly designed handles that swivel down out of the way. They are unique, and make all the difference between this tote and other similar ones. This is my favorite tote of all time!!

Armour Small Hard Shell Laptop Sleeve, Fits Most 13-Inch Screens (dp-5028-1)

Armour Small Hard Shell Laptop Sleeve, Fits Most 13-Inch ScreensGreat bag Fits MacBook Air 13" perfectly. There is a small insert in the bottom of the bag (extra cushion I assume) that needs to be removed for the best fit but I use that as a wedge at the top of the bag to keep the MBA from moving. I searched all over for a hard sided bag, since I use the Otter Box product for my iPhone and I like that level of protection. I was led to this product after seeing STM's messenger bag but the feedback said it would gap open and let water in and that is obviously not hard sided Apple never mentioned this case in their website and I had to search STM's to find it. Very heavy duty, strong zippers etc. I also liked that they have a separate bag for accessories so the MBA does not get scratched up and I don't have to lug the accessories around if I don't need them. It comes with a little hook to attach to the main case but I went out and got one of those carabiner clips just because it is easier to take off and on. I've used it for a few months now and my only complaint to STM is cosmetic. It is a fine, hard case but the bottom of the bag get's a little pitted where it is banged around and it is not through color black little grayish / white divots can arise. My only other complaint is directed at Amazon. For some reason UPS partners with the Post Office for deliveries from Amazon and instead of delivering to my house they deliver to the post office this takes longer and I had to go to the post office and pick it up.

Kiva Luggage Packing Genius Stowaway Duffel Bag

Kiva Luggage Stowaway Duffel, Glacier, One SizeI use this bag for my yoga gear. It's compact but holds a lot, and is just the right size to fit in the small half lockers many gymns and yoga studios have. It's lightweight but very well made and durable I love it!

*NEW SPRING 2012* Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack GLAZED - Santiago SunsetThe bag is functional with lots of pockets and room for all of baby needs. Not only functional, but cheery and attractive, but not to girly for dad to carry. Love the option of the shoulder strap or back pack straps. Daughter was very pleased and expects to use this as the only bag for first baby. Appears to be durable and easy to clean.

This is a GREAT diaper bag. I don't really carry a purse anymore so I wanted something cute for myself as well as my daughter. The fold out changing pad is the best feature. The two outside "side" pockets are great for my cell phone and wallet. And I recommend this outer material as it is easy to clean with just a rag and water. I also get lots of compliments on it. =)

Timbuk2 Aviator Laptop Travel Pack

Timbuk2 Aviator Laptop Travel PackI purchased this travel pack because (1) I am a fan of Timbuk2 (my everyday bag being the H.A.L.) and (2) I always travel with a carry on when flying. In terms of quality, the pack is typical of Timbuk2's excellent quality although a couple of pull-tags were curiously absent for the the top and front zippered pockets. The internal organization is minimal but typical for travel packs: no organizer pockets or key lanyard present anywhere. It is flatter than my other travel pack (eBags eTech Weekender) by a couple of inches which will decreases capacity making this pack good for 3-4 day trips at most (while I am able to pack 6-7 days worth in the Weekender). Being smaller however will make moving through crowds (like down plane aisles) and finding overhead space easier. The straps are thinner than I expected given the size of the pack but remain comfortable regardless.

Coleman Exponent Runamuck X35 Panel-Load Daypack,Blue

Coleman Exponent Runamuck X35 Panel-Load Daypack,BlueMy Coleman backpack zipper broke on my first attempted use. Coleman Warranty Service was no help since I didn't buy it from a Brick and Mortar store. There is a big reason why these are selling so cheap, "They are Cheaply Made". I will never purchase Coleman products again!!!!

I was very pleased by the design and weight of this pack. Like all packs I buy, I immediately cut a bunch of stuff off it and shortened the straps. With these modifications, it's a nearly perfect pack for me. I like to travel for months at a time with no more than 15 pounds on my back, and this pack makes it possible. You'll need to be a bit careful of it, as it's not a rough-and-tough pack made of thick, heavy material. With reasonable care, though, it should last a long time and provide great service.

Deuter Speed Lite 15

Deuter Speed Lite 15 Backpack: Midnight/OceanI bought this bag primarily to commute to and from work with, so that I have a decent bag to jog with on days that I might want to do so.

This bag is INSANELY light, and even packed with everything that I bring to and from work, I barely feel it on my back.

I can fit 3 sets of keys, my wallet, and my phone in the small upper pocket; 2 bottles of water/juice/etc in the mesh side pockets; and in the main pocket, I have managed to pack my work clothes when I changed into my jogging shorts/top (dress pants, short sleeve, and bra), along with a Medela 4-bottle cooler pack and Ameda Pump Kit, a kindle, and my ipod.

I haven't had this bag out in any rain harder than a sprinkle yet, so I can't attest to how leak proof it is, although I do know that the condensation from my water bottle doesn't appear to leak through the bag. I have read reviews from other sites indicating that the Speed Lites aren't terribly rain resistent, so if you plan to jog in the rain frequently you may want to invest in a rainproof cover for your bag.

I bought this for short hikes and it is perfect very lightweight, with comfortable straps, and just the right size. The tapering shape allows for full arm movement so you hardly know it's on your back. I've also used it with a Camelbak Antidote reservoir which works very well.

I carry this backpack everyday to work instead of a purse. It holds my 16oz nalgene in one of the side mesh pockets and a similar sized bottle of iced tea in the other side mesh pocket. The small zipper pocket fits my small wallet, ipod touch, and some other small items. The large compartment fits my lunch (if I choose not to carry a separate lunch cooler), gloves, hat, and other small items.

I also use this backpack for good weather, half day, less than 5 miles round trip hikes. For that I can fit a 16oz nalgene in each mesh pocket, a 1L playtpus in the internal sleeve, lunch, a rain coat, and first aid kit. I have removed the "hip belt" as I find it getting in the way for my purposes. I would find the hip belt useful for bike riding or climbing. One thing to note is that the exit port for your hydration bladder tube is only over the right shoulder so if you are dead set on having it over your left shoulder this might not be the pack for you. I love how the tapered design and simple frame make it feel like I have nothing on my back.

I chose this pack over the 10L and 20L versions of this pack because the 10L would be a tight squeeze for a rain coat and lunch and the 20L had compression straps that I feared would get in the way of the side mesh pockets and I just didn't need them.

AmeriLeather Slim Executive Faux Leather Attache Case

AmeriLeather Slim Executive Faux Leather Attache CaseI am a graduate student and I needed something that I could carry around my school stuff in, but that I could also carry straight to work without having to hide it under my desk or in a closet. I am also, however unfortunately, a very small person. This briefcase was given to me as a birthday gift and I love it. It fits my 13' laptop, my notebooks and writing utensils, a few computer disks and some odds and ends I always end up carrying. It's small enough that I can carry it easily but big enough for everything I need. The lock was a necessary feature, as I carry around confidential documents, and this one works great. The wheels are a little sticky and hard to turn, but it's not that much of a problem. It's only a three-number standard lock, but for the kind of documents I'm carrying around, that's pretty much enough. The leather came in great condition, the snaps around the expandable file are pretty strong, and the hinges and handle are sturdy and well made. If you're looking for something to carry around your whole life, this won't work out for you, but then you probably wouldn't have clicked on the attache with "slim" in the name. For me it's perfect and I hope to be using it for many years to come.

Tamrac 5586 Expedition 6x Photo/Laptop Backpack (Black)

Tamrac 5586 Expedition 6x Photo/Laptop BackpackHaving used Tamrac gear for years, I have been impressed by the excellent build quality and sharp appearance of their products. Generally the materials are high quality, very durable, and the workmanship superb. I wanted a heavy duty backpack with enough space for two bodies, three or four lenses, a flash unit, flash meter, battery pack, flash bracket, filters, spare batteries, a tripod, and miscellaneous accessories. I chose Tamrac's Expedition 6 (E6), and was not disappointed. This backpack is designed for heavy duty outdoor use, and the materials are even more wear resistant than their regular bags. The shoulder straps are padded and very comfortable, and the panel that rests on the back is well padded and designed to promote air flow. With the chest strap and belt clip fastened, the fit is a snug and secure, even when the pack is fully loaded. The zippers on the exterior are heavy duty, with a rubber self-seal upon closure, a very cool feature! There is a rugged heavy duty handle on top. From a materials and construction standpoint, the E6 is solid, and pretty close to indestructible.

The main interior compartment is very well constructed, and custom configurable. There is ample padding all around, and the adjustable dividers are quite thick. The compartment is about six inches deep, with two nylon straps in the middle section for extra security for securing a camera or lens. On the lid are two large zippered compartments, made of heavy duty clear plastic. The padded laptop compartment, is in the lid section, and will accommodate a computer up to about 14 inches. I was able to get all the gear listed above into the backpack, and also squeeze in a large Gary Fong type diffuser, lens hoods, and a small point and shoot camera as well.

Tamrac products are designed well, but are not perfect. In general, they do a great job with the main compartment, but could do with some design improvements for the outside pockets and auxiliary storage spaces. Such is the case with this backpack. Tamrac has a fixation with memory and battery storage. The two vertical compartments on the back of the E6 each contain three tiny pockets, devoted to these items. If the goal was to cosmetically display memory cards, rather than provide spaces designed to carry a significant amount of gear, it is achieved. Not much can be carried in these spaces, since the compartments are small, and not very deep. I don't even use the spaces for the items they were intended for. I carry four extra memory cards in a Hakuba case, and spare camera batteries in another case. These are both stored inside the pack. I squeeze what I can into the tiny red tagged pockets, but these are not well utilized spaces.

The center pocket at the bottom of the back cover, is designed to accommodate two of the three legs of a mid-sized tripod, and has an additional sheet of hard plastic liner inside for protection. While the setup works as designed, the pocket is perhaps wider than it needs to be. When you insert two tripod legs in the pocket, zipping it up on either side, is no easy task. Not the best design, and again another space that is not utilized very well. A suggestion would be to reduce the size of the tripod pocket and enlarge the two side pockets to run the full height of the pack, and make them deeper, so more gear can be carried. The fasteners on the straps for the tripod get loose too easily.

Saving the worst for last, rather than provide any usable pockets, pouches or compartments on the sides of the pack, there are only provisions for attaching additional accessories, using Tamrac's Modular Accessory System (MAS). This approach is infuriating! For what this costs, I expect a backpack that enables me to carry as much gear as is practically possible. Instead users are expected to pay extra for that capability. Tamrac's MAS and Strap Accessory System (SAS) components are expensive, and generally only marginally useful. Customizable separately attached carriers and pouches may appeal to some, but with sewed on pockets or carriers, you won't need to be concerned that an add-on component might get caught on something and get detached. No doubt Tamrac would say that they are providing `versatility' to the customer. Great, but at what cost? If you add four MAS components at $15 to $20 each, that adds up to the cost of another small bag! If MAS has to be integrated, how about putting provisions for MAS only on one side of the pack, and providing built-in pockets, straps and a bottle holder on the other side? At least give the user some additional storage space! Adding pockets or compartments on the shoulder straps is another possible improvement. Even a simple pen holder would be nice.

Some backpacks have the computer compartment located just behind the padded backrest, which might be a more secure design. Transporting your gear safely is one matter, and being able to conveniently access your things once you get to your destination is another. With the E6, access is convenient, however you obviously need to be careful whenever you have a laptop in the computer compartment, as there is no strap to keep the computer in place, and the weight makes the lid swing like a pendulum. If you happen to forget to zip up the compartment, the lid could flip open and your computer could bang something or even slip out. Basically, if you forget to zipper up, any unsecured objects stored in the lid of the E6 could fall out, when you flip the lid open or closed. It has happened to me a couple of times, but fortunately it was only some accessories that fell out, and not a laptop.

Since the other backpacks in the Expedition line are similar in design, most of these comments apply to them as well. There was potential for this series of backpacks to be really outstanding, and with a few modifications they very easily could be. The interior compartment is well-designed, the overall build quality is excellent, and the addition of the laptop compartment is an improvement over the previous version of the E6. This backpack can carry a lot of gear, and should last for years. Unfortunately, because of some poor design choices, maximum utility is not achieved. Still even with the shortcomings, the E6 solidly met my basic needs. Tamrac gear is not perfect, but their high quality, competitively priced products, often tops the competition.

I did quite a bit of research before ordering this bag including going by retail outlets to try bags on. I had originally ordered a Kata R-106, but much to my dismay, it was huge!. I travel quite a bit for my job and wanted a bag that allowed me to take my camera equipment and my laptop, and can fit under the seat on the airplane.

My goals when looking for a new camera bag:

Needs to fit all of my camera equipment (4 lenses of varying lengths, 1 flash, vertical grip &, 1 dslr body)

Needs to fit the accessories that go with the camera charger, cords, extra batteries, storage, etc.

And most importantly fit my 15" MacBook Pro (2007 version).

Fit a female frame (I have found that many camera backpacks do not take female anatomy into account and place the breast strap in a very uncomfortable place for the girls)

Light, well padded and easy to carry

Have a place for a water bottle

Backpack

I decided to go with this bag because it fit all of the above criteria. My laptop barely fits, though. I had to take out the bottom Velcro piece of padding (there is still some that is build in) to get it to fit, which is nice and snug. If i keep my incase sleeve on the laptop, it fits as well, but the zipper has stress points at the corners of the laptop. Although there is not a water bottle holder on this bag, it can be ordered from the list of accessories that come with the bag (MX5398) or I can just clip a bottle on.

I have not taken the bag on the airplane yet, but thus far, I am happy with this purchase. The bag has weatherproof zippers for the wing pockets and computer compartment and has a weather "hood" over the camera section and tripod foot pocket (including a drainage hole in the foot pocket).

Indeed it is a durable bag that meets my needs.

Tamrac 5586 Expedition 6x Photo/Laptop Backpack (Black)

The Expedition 6x is an excellent carry all backpack for the offroad photographer. I use it to carry my Nikon D80 with a mounted medium telephoto, a long tele, another mid tele, 2 smaller lenses. Additionally I carry a full set of 11 Cokin filters with adapter rings and holders, a light meter and a small flash unit. There is plenty of space for circular filters and an assortment of accessories, with room to spare for a future lens purchase. The laptop compartment is spacious, as are the extra compartments for spare batteries and memory cards. I am a large man (6'5") and tyhis pack fits perfectly. If there is anything negative to say about the 6X it is that my LARGE Manfrotto tripod is too big for the tripod attachment, though my monopod is easily attached to the pack. This 6X was a birthday gift. I almost asked for the 7X, but I am very satisfied with this model.

Dabbawalla Backpack

Dabbawalla Backpack, Go FetchThe back pack is very nice looking but the shoulder straps are not very good.

The shoulder strap are very badly design. The bag has 2 holes on each side of the bag, they are placed closer to the bottom of the bag to allow the straps loosely go through from inside of the bag.

This might be great in theory, but in practice when a child uses it, the bag moves from side to side and it makes the strap longer or shorter each time the bag move a little.( It is very uncomfortable for the child)

Also the 2 holes at the bottom of the bag are so big that if you happen to place a fork or spoon inside the bagDabbawalla Lunch Bag, Holy Cow, it will slip though the holes and when the child need to use it, it won't be there.

The product looks nice and I am happy that it is PVC free. However the product was stated to have dimensions of 14 x 14 x 6. Because of this I had expected it to be big enough to easily hold a standard 8 1/2" x 11" notebook even with the rounding that occurs at the top of most backpacks. I am very disappointed that a standard notebook barely fits and in some cases the backpack may cause the corners to bend. It might just be functional for its intended use as a backpack for pre-school and kindergarten.

On physical inspection, the interior measurements of the backpack without contorting it are 10"w x 11 1/2"w (at center) x 6". To get those 14" dimensions, I needed to flatten, stretch, or otherwise distort it well beyond its natural shape. Counting the top loop at its fullest extent is also useful to get that 14" height. Amazingly, the 6" depth appears to be accurate.

In terms of quality, the materials and sewing looks adequate. I can see how it would be possible for small objects to fall out through the small gaps where the back straps go through the bottom of the pack.

This bag is a great size for my (3T wearing) 2 year old. The length-adjustable straps are nice, and we added a carabiner clip across my son's chest to make sure the straps don't slide off of his shoulders when he has a full backpack. The soft neoprene is very comfortable for my son; it's not rigid at all. The backpack is roomy and the neoprene keeps fruit and snacks cool. I'm about to use this as his lunchbox this week with an ice pack and I expect it will work just fine.

We get stopped everywhere by people wanting to know where we got this backpack. It is much cuter in person than in the pictures and my son absolutely loves it. I couldn't be happier with the looks, the size or the usefulness. It's not cheap, but it keeps things cold, has plenty of room for toys and books, and is machine washable. What more can you ask for?

David King & Co. Oversize Laptop Backpack

David King Co. Oversize Laptop Backpack - Caféthis bag was delivered in great condition. The leather is thick, the linings are good, and the padding around the laptop pocket is thick. the zippers are strong and each front pocket has a surprising amount of room. The side pockets have a lot of room. Even with the center pocket full with other items in addition to my laptop in it's separate compartment, the front and back pockets can still hold up to 4-5 magazines each. I love this bag. I can travel with it for a weekend away or use it on a daily basis ...... I will say that I'm going to treat the leather on the lower back, bottom and lower front and side pockets for added water proofing and scuffing because of the light color and my daily use ..... I just don't want the leather to be stained or damaged

Satisfied with my purchase of the David King & Co. Oversize Backpack. My only minor issue is that my Mac Book is about an inch too tall to fasten the retainer strap over the padded computer compartment but the compartment still zips closed with the Mac Book installed. Otherwise, there is ample space and compartments for my tablet and other accessories. The leather feels and looks rich and the bag seems to be constructed well. The possible addition of a loop or retainer on the shoulder straps to secure the extra length of the adjustable strap would eliminate the approximate 6" of extra strap length from flopping around.

I bought this for my college student (son) as a Christmas gift. He wanted to use it for traveling/carry on. He said it's exactly what he wanted. Great quality.

Oakley Kitchen Sink Backpack

Oakley Kitchen Sink Backpack Shadow, One SizeFirst I will say I got my bag through Oakley Standard Issue website for $99 so it was a great deal. I travel a lot for business, mainly 3-4 day trips and since I got this bag I no longer check bags for travel. I am writing this review while I am sitting in the Hotel filling it back up getting ready to fly back home. For this 3 day trip I packed in:

My Dell E6510 15.6", charging cable, Ipad with charger, Bose headset (fits perfect in the sunglass holder on top), Dress pants, dress shirt, running shoes, baseball hat, 5xT-shirts, 3 pairs of socks, 2 boxershorts, 16 CD's, 16 3x5 pocket guides about 1/4inch thick each, magazine, Oakley glasses, My trusty travel coffee mug, and a small bag with travel approved bodywash, toothpaste, facewash, toothbrush, deoderant and electric razor.

I actually had room for an extra shirt and shotglass I picked up at the local Harley shop and still have a little room.

It's heavy but it works.

After ripping through several "name-brand" laptop backpacks, I finally decided to spend the money on this monster and I could not be happier. I travel weekly, often on planes, and this thing looks and feels like it's brand new after 18 months of abuse. I load it up for almost every trip and it is always comfortable on my back even during long walks through airports. It is a little large for stowage under airplane seats, but I have not yet found a seat that it will not fit under. If it ever fails, I will most likely buy another one until someone can prove they build a superior bag.

This bag is aptly named... almost The storage is very good including separate pouches for cell phones, iPods, or other digital devices to include up to a 17" laptop (although it might be harder to get to the laptop from the side access zipper if it is bigger than my 15" Macbook). There's even a hard pouch for sunglasses to keep them from being damaged. There are 2 reason I rated his bag 4 stars instead of 5. 1st off, there is not any protection from inclement weather (ie. a rain cover). My Lowepro slingshot bag that I use for photography has a built-in rain cover and you would think that a bag that costs as much as this Oakley bag one would include one as well. Secondly, the metal buckle is annoyingly loud when it is not being used. It jangles very audibly and this a distraction in class or at the library, although it is functional along with the chest strap. My old laptop bag did not have either and it dug into my shoulders, especially when riding my motorcycle.

I've been a fan of Oakley bags for a long time before I bought the Kitchen Sink. The first impression after unpacking is that it's heavy, and it sure is. All the metal adds to the weight, but it does give a wicked look to the bag. I mainly use this bag for everything, and this is my weapon of choice during travelling. I've had this bag for about 2 years now and have flown around the world at least thrice with this on my back. Although heavy, this bag is extremely comfortable on the shoulders courtesy the padding and a little height adjustment. I have actually timed myself while carrying a full bag on my shoulders for about 3 hours plus before I became exhausted, but the shoulders were still good. The waist straps are full metal, which I simply tucked them away since I don't use them.

As for the space, let me give an example of my travel situation. I prefer to carry all my belongings in hand baggage to whatever extent. So the Kitchen Sink holds 2 laptops 14'' + 15'' (in the laptop compartment), my bag of adapters, chargers, hard drives, cables (in one side pocket), my hair trimmer, electronic shaver and toiletries (in the other side pocket), my 160GB iPod Classic (perfect fit in the front padded pocket slot), a toothbrush, house + car keys (+ other small things in the front pocket), my passport, eye mask, headphones, glasses, sunglasses and loose change (in the top padded pocket), at least 3 t-shirts / shirts, a pair of jeans, trousers and shorts (in the main compartment) and a pair of slippers (in the bottom compartment). The bag looks like it's about to explode, but that's just an illusion, as there's always some space here and there.

For people who want to use this bag for air travel, two things to keep in mind the side zipper for laptop access and the hooks in the front. The side access for the laptop is really convenient for quickly getting the laptops out during security. As for the hooks, I really like them as I attach a small pouch from the hook, just for some extra space. Plus since I carry a rolling bag, I've made provision of attaching the extended handle of my bag to the centre hook. This is unbelievably amazing while running from one terminal to another to catch a flight, while keeping your hands free. It's a slight inconvenience because when the bag is full, the hooks stand in the way of getting the bag in the overhead bin. But a little shake here and there, and voila, it fits. Also I've been asked more than once during the security check to "remove" these hooks from the bag. Imagine asking Wolverine to lay down his adamantium claws!!

Now for some areas for improvement:

1. Due to the padded pocket on the top, the flap keeps falling down over the main compartment. This personally doesn't bother me much, but might be an issue for some.

2. There is a pocket on each the shoulder strap (very well placed I should mention). I would assume that this is for a phone and other trinkets. The only problem is that it's too small for a smartphone. I usually use it for keeping my iPod nano and an extra pair of earphones.

To give a rating to this bag (on a scale of 5):

Build quality: 5/5

Space: 5/5

Design: 10/5 (wicked cool)

Ergonomics: 4.5/5 (only because of the small pockets on the shoulder strap unable to fit a smartphone)

Comfort: 4.5/5 (need some time to adjust the shoulder straps to individual height)

Price: 4/5 (I did think twice before shelling out $200)

Value for money: 5/5

Overall, $200 well spent.

First off as always Amazon service is tip top. I ordered this pack on friday with the standard free shipping (5 to 8 buisness days it said) And it arrived on monday. The bag it's self defies words. The closest I can come is that it looks like a futuristic tactical bag. The pouches on the waist strap are the perfect size for small semiautomatic clips. And if you remove the waist strap you now have a pass through in the bag which could eazily accept a baseball bat or machete. All of this and it has room to spare. This may not be the cheapest bag on the block. But it's well worth every dime.

David King & Co. Large Computer Flap Over Backpack

David King Co. Large Computer Flap Over Backpack - TanI just received this leather laptop backpack, so I can't comment yet on its durability.

I can comment on the quality of the leather, which is very nice, the color, which is also nice and a little darker than the picture shown here on the website.

This backpack has more zippered pockets than I know what to do with! Let's see -power supply and speaker bar in this pocket, reading materials in this one, snacks in here, vaporizer over there... I count at least four large zippered pockets, plus another gusseted flap with zippers on the sides.

The interior has quite a number of neat details like card, pen, and cable holders.

The back of the pack is made of black vinyl (ostensibly to save weight, but presumably also to hold down cost). The shoulder straps are broad and comfortable with a vinyl surface against your shoulders, plus a center leather grab handle you can use to pick up the bag one-handed.

About the only negative I have encountered is the padded compartment with tab closure designed for the computer, which was too shallow to accommodate my 15.4" wide-screen laptop. Fortunately the laptop fits fine in the adjacent pocket, which zips closed to contain it.

I imagine a standard non-widescreen 15" laptop or any other smaller sized computer or tablet might fit in the padded compartment.

Still, this backpack appears to offer very good value for the money and is functional and good-looking in the bargain.

PROS:

* Nice leather in an attractive tan color.

* Broad, comfortable, adjustable shoulder straps.

* Zipped pockets and more zipped pockets to hold and organize a full load of stuff!

* A lot of leather backpack for the money.

CONS:

* Dedicated padded computer compartment too shallow for 15.4" widescreen laptop. Smaller machines should fit.
