Stephen Joseph Go Go Bag - Ballet Shoes

Stephen Joseph Go Go Bag - Ballet ShoesMy little girl loves this bag. Although I bought it with the intention that she use it to carry her ballet shoes to dance class, she actually uses it for just about anything as she loves it so much. It's been dragged on play dates stuffed with toys, been used as a swimming bag, and even a beach bag and still looks great with no scuffs. A great purchase all round.

Neoprene Laptop Carrying Case Sleeve Bag w. Hidden Handle & Eyelet (D-Ring) for 15 15.6 Inch Notebo

Neoprene Laptop Carrying Case Sleeve Bag w. Hidden Handle & Eyelet for 15 15.6 Inch Notebook - Loving Bird DesignI received the case in a very timely manner, however the packaging that it was in was a bag type of mail and it had been banged up. The product itself wasn't damaged as I do not blame the seller for the damage at all. I do love the case and would recommend to anyone as I have received so many compliments on it. Only thing is.. and as with all neoprene type of material it does have a distinctive odor, it is washable and I may try to gently wash it in the hopes to get the plastic smell to die down some... other than that I am COMPLETELY satisfied with this product and seller =) 2 thumbs up!!!

This was exactly what I expected and hoped it would be. It's really, really cute. I would purchase again from you.

Latico Basics NorthSouth Convertible Laptop Bag

Latico Basics NorthSouth Convertible Laptop Bag,Black, one sizeI really love my bag. I don't really wear it as a backpack unless I need my hands free, but it works well as a shoulder bag. My laptop, textbook, and paper pad all fit inside, and there are plenty of pockets to store pens or other small things.

I cannot get over how crappy the leather in this bag felt. I thought the convertibility from a shoulder bag to a backpack was great until I discovered that this becomes about the most awkward looking backpack possible. This would be a steal at $35 $45, but $100??? No thanks.

Samsonite Luggage Dowel Flapover Business Case

Samsonite Luggage Dowel Flapover Business Case, Black, One SizeThis bag is very very nice. When the box arrived The bag itself was in a series of 3 boxes and a plastic bag. However, I could still smell the leather before opening the first box. The first thing that struck me about the bag is how nice the leather is. The leather seems thick and rugged but still soft to the touch. The build quality of the bag is also great. The stitching is solid and all the nickel hardware looks like it is build for years of use and abuse. The inside of the bag is lined and soft. It will provide plenty of padding for my Ipad and laptop. I have a 13 in mac book air but the provided literature explains that the bag will fit up to a 15.6 inch laptop. So it was no surprise that my laptop fits even with a cover or sleeve over it. I was surprised to find that my ipad fit in the tablet slot even with a thick protective cover on it. It was a snug fit but I was pleased that I didn't have to search for a new cover for my ipad. With everything in the bag I still have plenty of room for other books and papers. However if you are a student (especially a law student like myself) this bag may not be large enough to carry multiple large heavy books. I plan on using this to carry a laptop and a few items for internships and class days with less reading. On that note the bag looks very professional yet still young and modern. It is perfect for young professional who is not trying to carry a backpack to a professional office or courthouse. At less than $100 it is a steal for a bag of this quality with these accessories. The bag also has a slot zipper pocket on the back for extra storage, as well as a pass through that I believe is meant to allow you to place it over the handle of a roller bag for easy travel. The only cons I can think of are that there is no perfect place to put the chargers for your tablet and laptop. Also the front slot has pen slots that are a little too small for larger pens and hi lighters. I have also found that the latches on the front of the bag although not particularly difficult do not provide quick access to the bags contents. (By the way the latches are not the buckles as shown on the picture, those are fake, the latches are behind the leather straps and are a standard push button latch.) When all is said and done I am extremely happy with the bag and would suggest it to anyone asking.

Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack - Black

Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack - BlackWe have had this bag for over 3 years. It is used on almost a daily basis by one of us. We are now using it for both our 3 year old and a newborn. It is big enough to carry items for both, but it is still easy to transport as it is a backpack. One of the great things is that it is not too girly so dad has no problems carrying it.

We love the built in cooler feature our only minor complaint is after 3 years of almost daily use the inner silver lining on the cooler is starting to peel.

this is great, this our 4th diaper bag (we have a 16 month old and 1 on the way) and this is the best for sure. not too big and bulky like the regular tote style, you can sling it over one shoulder or two or a stroller. well balanced, LOVE the insulated lunch section and bottle holders, all the multi purpose pockets are great. we have plenty of room for two kids stuff in ours and its still not heavyvery durable too.

Buy Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack - Black Now

We bought this diaper bag after being tired of searching for things in regular designer diaper bags. This backpack is perfect for everyday use and traveling on long trips. The insulated bottle pocket allows you to pack bottles, food, ice pack, etc and still have room for more. We are able to fit about 10 diapers plus a bag of wipes in the diaper section, as well as a couple of changes of clothes, blanket and some extra toys in the main compartment. The extra pockets on the side are great for traveling when you need to place Infant Tylenol, mylicon drops, thermometers..all of those little extras that typically get lost in a typical diaper bag. Its not overly big either and you can hang it right on the front of your stroller for easy access if you don't want to carry it around. It also fits in our basket on the bottom of our stroller, as well. Great buy..I will never use a regular diaper bag again.

I purchased this backpack b/c we have a 16 month old and a newborn. We used the packpack for 2 months and the mesh is pulling apart, I've mended it several times! It is just not holding up well at all. Also, it doesn't hold nearly what I expected. The only good feature is the insulated food compartment.

Faulty zipper Before I even had the chance to use it, the zipper wasn't working properly. This seems to be a common issue in other reviews. I thought it might have been others overstuffing the bag, but the zipper design is poor with a weak hold and easy to mis-align. Had to return the item which is too bad because I liked other design aspects of the backpack all the compartments, hooks, and canvas material. Though, I did find it odd that the cooler/food compartment on the bottom of the bag had a hole (for ventilation or drainage, I suppose).

Mosey Life Convertible Backpack

Mosey Life Convertible Backpack,Platinum, one sizeThis bag is beautiful inside and out. However, the straps are "slippery" and tend to fall off your shoulder. As a backpack, the straps really cut into the front on your shoulders and were too painful for me to wear that way for very long. The bag has a lot of room inside but the shape of the zipper (upside down smile) makes it a little hard to get into without using both hands.

I purchased this bag in black for the winter months. I have this same bag in another color which I used all summer. It is absolutely the best bag for my needs. There are 3 large completely independent internal compartments along with a zippered area. The organization is unmatched in any of my other bags....and I have many. The only complaint I have is that the handles are slippery when used as a shoulder bag which is how I use it daily. My solution was to order an Ameribag luggage grip, attached it to the handles and voila...no more slipping off the shoulder. The slippery handles are my only real complaint. I love it.

I got this bag for a month long trip to Greece. It was perfect and I used it the entire trip. It is so easy to change from shoulder bag to back pack...nothing to reclip.. just pull the straps. It has plenty of pockets and compartments to keep a camera handy. The size is great.. can handle all one needs for a day trip (water bottle & suncreen, etc). The material is nice and does not get too hot against your back. I like the wallet that clips inside with a little elastic "leash" because it makes it difficult to be the victim of a pick-pocket. It is rather expensive, but I was very happy with my purchase. I would love to get some other colors.

I just received this bag in black. I was looking for something that was lighter weight than the large leather bags we are carrying that are hurting our shoulders. I have crossbody bags, but sometimes they cause shoulder pain as well. This bag is attractive, not so sporty looking, plus wisely designed. The only thing that is inconvenient is that there are no handles on the one side so if you want to grab the bag to move it, you have to grab the top two sides of the bag. I think the design would be ruined if there were two handles, so i don't suggest the company do that. The inside center of the bag has a secure zippered large pocket (the bag is a generous 5 inches deep). In addition, in that section there is a nicely sized zippered pocket on one side and on the other are 2 slip pockets with see-through mesh plus a flat 6 credit card slots/zippered/slide pocket thingy attached with a strap and removable clasp. On either side of the main large pocket there is a deep pocket wide pocket (2 total) for more easily accessed items. On the outside there is a vertical zipper deep pocket and a snap tab closed smaller deep pocket for a phone and more. The whole bag is closed with a turn latch. When worn as a backpack everything is pretty secure. You can put either side against your body. The quilting is a horizontally oval design and there is leather trim that gives it a sophisticated look for a lightweight constructed bag. The metal rings where the straps slide through seem very strong. To adjust from a regular shoulder bag or hand bag, to a backpack is extremely easy. It's just a matter of sliding straps. There are 2 side adjustable, 4 hole buckles as well. Inside my black bag is a pink nylon lining that adds a nice touch and makes things easy to see. I like a bag to make logical, organizational sense and this one fits the bill. The dimensions are 13" at the widest part and 12" high.

I have used three of these bags in different colors for more than two years. They are the only bags I have ever owned that I have been happy with for more than a year. I carry a lot of "stuff" including my IPad and I walk several miles a day regardless of weather. The bags are comfortable even with a lot of weight in them, and they never look hugely bulky. I use them for everything from the opera in Chicago and professional conferences to walks at the zoo or on the beach. The colors are beautiful and never fade. They also wipe off easily and are difficult to stain. [Although I admit that I spray them with water-protection.] They switch from backpack to shoulder bag in less than 3 seconds, even when you are walking! They are also lightweight, despite being very sturdy. If you need to carry a lot of stuff, especially if you also need to look professional, this is the bag for you. Good luck at choosing only one color--they are beautiful bags!

I'm very glad I chose this bag. Very tough and looks awesome. Bottom line is yes i would buy this bag again and definitely recommend it.

Timbuk2 Shotwell Backpack

Timbuk2 Shotwell Backpack, Sorbet Green/Algae Green/Gunmetal, MediumI am a fan of Timbuk2 bags and had high hopes for this backpack, but it did not work out. First disappointment was the color: I ordered the purple/barley/potrero color and thought I was getting a grey bag with purple and brown panels (that's how it looked to me in the website photo). But the color "potrero" is not described anywhere and Timbuk2 (much like Patagonia before them) likes to name colors with locations with no descriptions (the "alcatraz" color is apparently sky blue). Usually this is fine with an accompanying photo, but in this case "potrero" is an olive-green-brownish color which was not to my liking. My husband, originally from San Francisco, said, "Must be named after the Potrero Hill district." Not so helpful to me as an eastcoaster.

Secondly, the pocket location on this backpack did not distribute weight well for me. It's a tall backpack which I know will work well for others but was not what I was looking for with my 5'8" frame. If you put anything heavier than a smart pohone in the outside pockets (like keys and a pocket knife and other small, but heavy items) it makes the outside pocket bulge outwards over the power brick compartment. I also felt the shoulder straps were too close together and rubbed my neck wrong. I won't comment on the sewn-on bottle opener except to say: make it removable.

But the material was certainly rugged and the contruction/zippers, etc. were durable and excellent as always with Timbuk2. I would only recommend this pack for people who are comfotable with the narrow shoulder straps, who want a tall pack that carries very little (don't put weight in the outside pockets) and who are looking for a backpack in earthy & purple tones.

I loved the look and feel of this bag because its longer and can fit a lot as well as being very light. The thing is I felt my laptop was not safe in the compartment even with a case. It doesn't have a hammock to keep it away from the bottom of the bag and no protection on the bottom is available. If you have a really heavy duty case than maybe it would be ok, but my merely placing it on the ground I could see how you could dent up your laptop. It also doesn't have as many pockets as other bags offer, and my water bottle wouldn't fit in the side pocket. Some of the pockets don't open completely. I love Timbuk2 but this bag is lacking their normal attention to detail I would probably try another bag unless you have the correct protection.

I've been commuting into NYC for many years, and have tried every style of bag available (including custom making my own market bag with a zillion pockets). I was on the hunt for a bag that was easy on my shoulders, had tons of orginization, was stylish, inexpensive (less than $100), and didn't leave me looking like a turtle (I'm a slender to average 5'4"). Sounds impossible, right?

Wrong! This backpack is IT. Its cute, lightweight, is evenly distributed on my shoulders, and is incredibly compact. To give you an idea of how ninja this bag is, here's what I carry around with me to and from the city every day:

Cell phone

Wallet

Caribeaner of keys

Camera

Ipod

Kindle with case

Travel mug of coffee

Liter of water

Sunglasses

Small pouch of essentials (tampons, chapstick, business cards, bobby pins, toothpicks, etc)

Notepad, dayplanner, pens

Breakfast and lunch (several tupperware containers)

Change of clothes and a yogitoes towel for after work yoga

And there is STILL room for a sweatshirt and whatever miscellaneous crap I aquire throughout the day. I can seriously stuff this thing until I can barely zip it... And it still looks very sleek and compact. I can go to a nice bar or restaurant after work and not feel like I walked in dressed for camping.

I can't comment on how this bag is as a laptop bag because I don't own a laptop. And if I had to complain about this bag, I would say that the exterior waterbottle pocket is a bit snug for a liter bottle.

Bonus pointsI got this bag as an open box warehouse deal... For only $30. But I would have paid a little more for itthis bag was exactly what I was looking for and I absolutely love it.

I ride my bike or the train to work every day and was looking for a backpack to carry my gear for the commute. I'm really happy with this one and have used it for almost a year now. Timbuk2 is known for their quality and this backpack fits the bill. It's a little taller and more rectangular than square, which gives it a more stream-lined look. It fits everything I need for one day in it and even works well as an overnight bag. The laptop pocket is not well protected, but I keep my laptop in a protective pouch (purchased separately) and that does the trick. I don't carry my laptop every day, so I actually like not having the extra bulk in there. This thing is perfect if you need to carry around:

Lunch for the day

An extra jacket, sweater, shirt

Ipod and charger

Some other random stuff

On weekends I'm able to carry around:

2 changes of clothes

1 pair of shoes

Toiletry bag

Some other random stuff

Looks great and does the job. Based on the quality I expect this to last for years and will definitely consider Timbuk2 products in the future.

I got my backpack back when Timbuk2 was having a sale on it, so I got it for $45. I think for this price, it was a great deal as this backpack has proven to be very versatile. I usually use it for school, and it is actually able to carry a great deal. I can fit my laptop, notebooks, books, 32 oz water bottle, food containers, and a sweater in the main large compartment without it looking bulky at all. It has a bottom compartment for the laptop charger, which I find to be a bit small if you just throw the wires in, but if you actually roll up the charger neatly enough, it is definitely enough space. The two zippers in front of the bag is also very useful and is deep enough for smaller things (such as pads, cell phone, ipod, or wallet). My only real complaint is the water bottle holder. It is impossible for me to squeeze my water bottle in (though it is a 32 oz bottle), and I feel that a simple water bottle will also be a bit too snugged. Thus, I use the pocket to carry my keys and phone instead. It is important to note that this backpack is a little bit longer than a typical backpack, though it is not very noticeable when when I wear it. I've read that other owners have complained about this, but it didn't seem to be a big deal when I bought it. What I really love about this backpack is the internal organizer for pens and pencils as it was very well thought out. I used to carry a pencil box to hold all my stuff, but I no longer need it because of this.

To sum it up,

PROS:

Great slim/sleek look

Lots of compartments

Internal organizer

Carabiner

Secret pocket =O

CONS:

Though the material is durable, it is not waterproof

Small water bottle holder

No cushion for the straps or back

Laptop compartment also lacks cushion

Logitech Kinetik 15.4 Backpack

Logitech Kinetik 15.4 BackpackThis is a sharp looking backpack with a lot of nice features and room for slender items like folders and paperwork and slim binders. The zippers throughout the backpack are smooth and travel well, with few hang-ups. The exo-shell casing definitely contributes to the clean-cut look, but there are some drawbacks to this exo-shell design depending on your intended use.

I travel full time and my old backpack had a laptop section and then a cavernous main storage space where I could place all my gadgets and smaller hardware devices (I'm a network engineer, so I need things like spare network cables, a small network switch, and other small gear like that, as well as the ever-present wireless mouse, power brick for my laptop and a drawstring pouch big enough to carry my iPod essentials).

There are many little pouches and slits/slots for paperwork-style stuff or binders, but the only real place to keep my bulky gadgets is in the netted pocket on the lower portion of the inside of the shell. This works well enough, but because all of this weight is distributed to the front of the backpack, it has a tendency to tip over forwards when set down (even with the laptop providing counterbalance in the middle-back section of the backpack). This sort of defeats the advertised free-standing feature of this backpack. I found myself having to lean it against something or brace it in some way to keep it from falling over when not slung over my shoulder. It behaved better when fully opened and unloaded of my bulky gear, but even then it would tip forwards sometimes.

Another problem is that in order to access anything inside of the main compartments, you have to pretty much unzip it all the way, because the stiff exo-shell prevents any attempts for quick access. You might find yourself wrestling with the backpack when you're doing this, to keep it upright, because of the aforementioned problem with weight distribution. If you want easy access to anything you're carrying in this backpack, keep it in one of the smaller external zippered compartments

If you're an air traveler (like me), be warned: you may sometimes have trouble stowing this backpack on the plane because of its exo-shell. The rigid design doesn't let you squeeze it into tight spaces that would be handled just fine by an otherwise full fabric backpack (especially on those smaller regional jets with very small overheads and cramped under-seat storage).

Something that is completely missing is a side pocket for a water bottle. Lots of backpacks have these nowadays, and my old one had two mesh ones. This one has none, and no alternative external pouch.

While these things are a negative for my purposes, this is still, overall, a very nice backpack. The exo-shell definitely gives it a sleek, sharp look, and the fabric is a good quality ballistic nylon. The shoulder straps are connected along the full length of the top section of the backpack, which I feel would make it hold up very well over time, as most "traditional" backpack straps are separate and can eventually fray and come loose from the body of the backpack, requiring repair.

As far as externally-accessible compartments, the right strap contains a zippered compartment for a small/slender MP3 player or phone and a headphone port. This little compartment could also feasibly hold folded up paperwork like a boarding pass or your ID (for all those air travelers out there), giving quick and easy access that doesn't require you to un-shoulder the backpack.

There is a side zipper on the left side along the back that serves as the "official" quick-access storage compartment. It can hold more paperwork than the shoulder strap compartment and was designed specifically for this purpose.

A zippered compartment on the top of the backpack expands into the rear (laptop) compartment directly above the laptop sleeve. It makes for your best externally accessible storage for miscellaneous items.

For the main compartments, the rear compartment holds the padded laptop storage sleeve with Velcro strap on the inner wall, along with two slender storage slots for paperwork on the outer wall (the back of the backpack). I keep a notepad in the lower, full-size one. The half-size pouch above it is a tight sleeve and only good for thin items or paperwork.

The forward main compartment has a thin zippered pouch on the top of the inner wall and a good-sized sleeve about two inches wide, big enough for a binder, bunch of folders, or in my case, my spare network cables and small three-plug power cord. On the outside face of this pouch is a small elastic pouch, three pen sleeves, a bunch of business card sleeves, and a clip for things like your key ring or similar item. Opposite of this is the inside of the exo-shell, which at the top has two Velcro-sealed pouches side by side, each with graphics on them suggesting possible items you may want to keep there (iPod, small camera, mouse, webcam, thumb drives, etc). These are nice little pouches and I like them, but putting stuff in them contributes to the forward-leaning weight of the backpack. Below these two pouches is the main storage area for anything large. An elastic-rimmed mesh pouch covers it about halfway to the top, and it's good for carrying the laptop power brick and anything else of that size.

With all that said I would recommend this backpack to anyone that doesn't need to carry a lot of extra hardware beyond the laptop, laptop power brick, a mouse, and maybe another small electronic device like a camera and/or iPod. If you need more gadget space and less filing space for folders/paperwork/binders, or are thinking of using this for frequent business travel on airplanes, keep looking, otherwise, this backpack will serve you well and look good doing it. Just remember to load-balance it so it doesn't fall on its face.

This is a very nice piece. Very comfortable to wear, even when completely loaded. I absolutely love the design, but then, I have hots for mesh fabrics. It does have beautiful shiny orange-colored padded back. Inside it is very roomy and yet secures not one but two laptops. I have to carry two laptops and a binder during my work day. This backpack does a great job.

Multimedia wise it was designed with you in mind: the pocket for the MP3 player (I have Classic iPod) is roomy and is located in one of the shoulder straps. This allows you to access your player without having to take your backpack off. In my opinion very smart and humane idea.

However.... with all my kudos to the makers of this great backpack, I have to mention one flaw. The outer shell is nice a matte but is very easily scratched. It takes a light tangential bump into a furniture or a wall or somebody's backpack (especially if you are a student, as I am) to leave a scratch. The worst part is all the scratches come out white. Very annoying. I am starting to think I will need some stickers to cover those ugly scratches... or maybe some shoe polish.

Other than that I love this backpack.

I purchased this backpack at risk for a 17 inch dell m6300 series laptop. To save anyone the search, the m6300 has the following measurements:

D: 11.3

W: 15.5

H: 1.6

Well, I will say that it does fit into the padded compartment, just barely. It's Tight going in, and a bit tighter coming out. It may not be the safest way to carry a 17 inch laptop, being so tight, but it works for me.

The shoulder compartment for the MP3 played won't quite fit a 4th gen Ipod, but does make a nice stash spot for Jump drives, dongles and the such. All and all, it gives enough room for the laptop, power supply, mouse, A couple notebooks. a binder, and various odds and end.

The hidden compartment on the back is big enough for passports and (folded) traveling papers. The bag packed full will fit into most all carry on size check cages. Although, security will have fun making you clear out all the half hidden pockets.

The bag is well balanced, has a good amount of support, and comfortable for travel. The scuffing mentioned elsewhere is a real issue. The shell coating seems to be neoprene. For anyone who hasn't used a neoprene in the past, it is awesome in that is nigh impossible to put a permanent mark on. However, it also gets temporary marks easily. With the right amount of elbow grease and water, (or mostly any other non-astringent cleaner) you can get almost any mark out. All and all I am happy with my purchase.

I just received this bag and from the start I can tell its a keeper. While I only have a netbook, I was in the market to buy a hardshell backpack that I could use while biking to school. I figured that if I took one bad fall, my netbook and I were in for pain.

That is till I came across the Kintek. It offer amazing protection. The Exo-shell is just amazing. It's rigid enough to withstand hard impacts(or punches) but shows some very subtle signs of flexing(which is a good thing in my opinion). My only gripe with the backpack is that it doesn't have a pouch on the side for water bottles which I use often.

The bag also offers so much space in such a small package; Every part of this bag is used to effectively that I wish I could purchase several of these bags for if/when this one becomes destroyed.

I simply love this bag and can only wonder why Logitech doesn't offer it on their website.

If Batman were to use a backpack, he'd use a Logitech Kinetik.

This bag can comfortably accommodate my 17" dell laptop and all of the other junk that i feel i need to haul around with me. Too often the what you see on the internet turns out to be a little to big in the flesh if you know what i mean. Not so here. Additionally, its very comfortable for short to medium distances, has plenty of storage compartments that can be reconfigured (a few more compartments like that would make it great), and draws lots of interest with the shell and striking colors. The only downfall so far has been the scuff marks to the shell from my desk, doors, and walls. the white scuffs prove difficult to remove.

Volcom Men's Equilibrium Backpack

Volcom Men's Equilibrium Backpack, Blue, One SizeI fly a lot, and this bag flies with me. Holds everything I need without being too bulky. My skating days are behind me, but the two straps on the back are clearly made to hold a board. Mesh pockets on the side perfect for water bottles I can get and store without taking the backpack off.

Small complaint the smaller pocket only has 1 zipper and opens very low. Things will fall out of that pocket when you unzip it if you're not careful.

The bag looks really cool, and this is my favourite color. also, the price is reasonable for this size of backpack. This size really fits for the people who go to school or outdoor activities

Bought it for my 12 year old son to replace old Dakine, which has holes already :) Made very good, side pockets (for bottle and other stuff), front pocket with 2 phone/documents pockets inside. Big enough to carry football, lunch bag and school stuff. Great design and a great backpack overall! Recommended! :)

Built NY E-LS17-GRN 17-Inch Laptop Sleeve (Green)

Built NY E-LS17-GRN 17-Inch Laptop Sleeveஇ Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary:

ѾѾѾѾ Recommended with warm fuzzies.

Built NY makes a very wide variety of cases, bags, and sleeves. Their laptop sleeves typically come in a very wide variety of colors and design patterns on them, ranging from subdued generic black colors to very lively and snazzy multi-colored striping and floral patterns on them. This 17-inch sleeve model likewise comes in various other colors, both with solid colors or with designs on them. I chose this spring green color because, silly me, I wanted to match the color of my 17-inch laptop; now, both my laptop and its sleeve have nearly identical green colors.

This sleeve is made of 5mm-thick neoprene that is both water and stain resistant. It is advertised as being machine-washable, but I have not tried that yet (and I hope to never need a reason to require a full wash-rinse-spin cycle either). The 5mm-thick padding is pretty much the norm these days with most manufacturers of laptop sleeves. Built NY likes to mention their "patent-pending Hourglass Shape" on these sleeve designs. While the narrower midsection of this "Hourglass Shape" serves to hold smaller laptops more firmly and still stretches for larger laptops, I personally would have liked this sleeve more if they just made the sleeve fully wide along the entire length of the sleeve instead of having the sleeve flare out at both ends. My 17-inch Dell laptop has a 6-cell battery that protrudes from its rear, and when I first received this sleeve, it was a very tight fit to slide my laptop in and out of this sleeve. But after several months of usage, the sleeve finally had enough stretch to make it easier to fit my laptop into it without lots of wrestling.

The so-called "Shark Gill Grips" curved indentations in the neoprene of both sides of the sleeve looked like a marketing/style gimmick at first, but these grips are actually quite useful for grabbing a hold of the sleeve with one hand so that you can put this into your briefcase or backpack. Most laptop sleeves do not give you any storage options for carrying accessories. The padding on this sleeve is typical compared to most laptop sleeves it will only protect from minor bumps and knocks, but there is not really sufficient padding to cushion against dropping the sleeve onto a floor. But as with most laptop sleeves, this sleeve is not meant to be carried frequently by itself through airports or carried loosely in your hand while you walk around. If you really want good padded protection and room for carrying accessories, get a laptop case instead of a sleeve.

I bought this for my 17" MacBook Pro. The fit is nice and snug, the quality is great, and it looks very good. It's odd that it only has padding for one side, I'm adding a bit more padding. Very good value!

SugarBooger Zippie BackPack

SugarBooger Zippie BackPack, Dia de los MuertosI have bought two of these for my pre schooler and my kindergartener for the school year (the monster and the bug one). While very cute, I could tell right away that they weren't very sturdy to hold up to hard usage. Sure enough, after less than a week, my kindergartener's backpack's front zipper is broken. I have to replace that now, and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the pre schooler's backpack dies too. So, save yourself the money. It would be nice if there were cuter options in sturdier backpacks, but having one last less than a week is just unacceptable.

Great backpack. Perfect size for kindergarten or early elementary. Fits school folders, a lunch bag, and school supplies well. It appears to be well made and simple to use with only a large zip pocket on front.

got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She is in kindergarten so she doesn't carry a lot in her back pack so it was perfect for her.

The plastic is thin and flimsy and the zipper at the top constantly keeps getting stuck. It is a large backpack can carry lunch box other things easily.

BBP Hamptons Hybrid Messenger/Backpack Laptop Bag Obsidian Black XL

BBP Hamptons Hybrid Messenger/Backpack Laptop Bag Obsidian Black XLI ordered this bag for my 17" Dell Precision M90. It is a tight fit in the bag, but it does fit. The computer compartment is accessible without opening the main flap, making it very easy to get to the notebook quickly. The nearly velcro-free design is nice, because it's quiet to open and close and doesn't get stuck on things. The storage compartment has an orange lining, making it easier to see what's in the bag.

The main selling point of the BBP bags is the Bak2Pak carrying system, and it's definitely worthwhile. The conversion process only takes a few tries to learn, and from then on it's easy to convert between backpack and messenger carry styles. I'd seen complaints that strap was too long in the messenger style, but I haven't found that to be the case if you clip both d-rings into the strap clips. In backpack mode, I've found that the straps slip a little, so I have to re-adjust them. It's easy to do this while wearing the bag, so it's not a big deal. The backpack mode distributes the weight very well, making it easier to carry over long distances.

I struggled with how to review this bag. On the one hand, I've loved both the size and comfort of it. I'm a college professor that walks/bikes to campus every day, and I needed something that I could use to transport a pretty hefty volume of grading to/from work.

For the first week, everything was great. Then, as I was walking up a flight of steps, the clip that connects the shoulder strap to the back sheared clean off. My case (laptop inside) went tumbling down a flight of stairs. I contacted the company and they were very nice about it and offered to repair/replace the bag. Unfortunately, they needed me to mail it back, and I can't afford to be without a case during the last few weeks of the semester. So, I jury-rigged a temporary fix and haven't sent it in yet.

A couple weeks later, I was crossing a multi-lane highway with my 5-year-old son when the other clip snapped right off, causing the bag to plop right in the middle of the road (again, with my laptop inside). I shudder to think what would have happened if I was riding my bike.

In both instances, the bag was not heavily loaded. I had my laptop, the power cable, some dry erase markers, and a hard cover textbook. Not exactly a monstrous load.

I think there is a serious design flaw with these bags, and I'm not the only one who has noticed. I was talking with a manager at the local Apple store and he mentioned that he's seen a number of people with the same problems that I've had.

Overall, I would not recommend this bag, especially with the price you pay. If you do buy it, go to Lowes and pick up some chain connectors to use when the clips snap off.

Prior to ordering this bag I was using a Marware Sportfolio Deluxe 17" MacBook Pro Case Black and while I really like the quality, size, etc. of the case it was killing my back/shoulder/neck. Once I loaded it with everything I needed it was pulling me out of alignment when I carried it further than down the hall.

So I started looking for a bag that I wanted to meet two criteria. First, I wanted it to be more comfortable and not pull me out of alignment. Second, it needs to fit under the seat of my Yamaha Majesty scooter. The Marware bag fits under the seat with room to spare but the BumBakPak was larger, especially since I needed either the L or XL model in order to fit my 17" laptop. I ended up trying the XL model because the L was out of stock at the time so I figured I would give it a shot.

I am pleased to say several things. First, the bag is incredibly well made and has plenty of room for whatever you need to carry. Second, it is very comfortable and feels completely natural when walking. It does not weigh you down or pull your body in any unnatural directions while you are carrying it. Finally, the XL bag fit under the seat of my Majesty like a glove. When I place it under the seat it looks as though it were made with the intention of fitting under this seat. I know that this part of the review will not matter to most people but if anyone else has a Majesty they will appreciate this information :-)

I'm reserving the right to revise this review later.

After reading some reviews of this bag I decided that it would be perfect for me and my newest laptop, a lightweight with a 15.6" screen. I vacillated a bit as to what size, and settled on the XL figuring I could use the extra room if I needed it...little did I know.

when it arrived and i pulled it out of the box, the first thing i notice was that THIS THING IS HUGE! you could fit a small child in it, with room for lunch. AND wine (none for the kid, he's gotta cop his own). my inner macgyver was impressed by the number of pockets and storage crevices all over the bag (although he'd never buy a bag, he'd make it out of leaves and duct tape, but i digress), not to mention the cool backpack to shoulder strap transformation thingie and the fact that every type of fastener known to man is used somewhere on this bag. you could strip it down and climb a mountain, and you don't need a goat to help you carry anything.

the 'problem' i have with this item is that, while can do so many things so well, it left out one very important thing: protection for a laptop. even my behemoth XPS with its 17" screen swims around in this thing. with the 50' of velcro and nylon straps used in this thing, why couldn't they use another foot or two to secure a laptop? i've been putting mine in the large pocket on the outside, which is hardly safe or secure, but at least it's snug and won't move around. should i have bought a smaller size? that wouldn't solve the issue because then the laptop would fit snugly into a bag with padding only for my @ss (which at my age is padded enough) and none for the investment i'm lugging around.

all in all, it's a very nice and seemingly well-made bag that looks nice and is comfortable to wear. but calling it a laptop bag is a bit of a stretch; it's basically a messenger bag/backpack that will fit a laptop along with a six pack of beer and a couple of buckets of chicken (yes, i am a bit hungry as i write this). while i won't return it, i'm still in the market for a laptop backpack.

Toting around a MacBook Pro 17" , with and extra battery to boot, can really wear down your shoulders. The BBP is, what I consider, to be the most capable way to carry a laptop out there. The backpack setup is very comfortable and takes the strain out of places that get sore quickly, like your shoulders. I don't think it looks that bad either The key point is that it works well and takes an innovative approach to an old problem.

The pockets are abundant, although the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would like to see some larger, more accessible pockets from the outside. The only other item to note is that the magnetic snap on one of the outside pockets is not particularly strong (you don't want strong magnets around computers anyway), so I would not put anything moderately heavy in there, such as a cell phone.

That said, the waterproof zipper on the outside for the laptop makes it a breeze to bring through airport security without having to unpack everything. The orange on the inside makes it really easy to see everything in the pockets. It will hold lots of stuff, in addition to your laptop and the materials it is made from doesn't add much to the overall weight, like a leather bag does. I recommend the L or XL for the MacBook Pro 17", I have the XL and it's more than roomy adn well worth the money.

Outdoor Products Moxie Day Pack

Outdoor Products Moxie Day PackBought this from Kmart in July this year for $29.99. Loved the size and the fact that it held a hydration bladder. Has the right amount of compartments I was looking for. Zip for the larger compartment kept getting caught in the flap that covers it but I could live with that. Then the bad news started last week, after only 5 months of using it to take my purse, cell, change of clothes for my two daughters, a first aid kit and car keys to the stores, and our annual trip to the State Fair. The back zip started to fray away from the seam, leaving a hole big enough for my cell to slip through. Kmart not interested in dealing with this. Went to "Outdoor Products" website to find that if I wanted to pay for shipping BOTH ways they MAY replace or repair it. The cost to do that would be more than what the backpack was bought for. I will be looking elsewhere and viewing their return polices before I buy another one. In over 30 years of buying and using backpacks I have never had a problem requiring me to return it, including many years of mountain climbing with them, mind you I have never bought an "Outdoor Product" before and looks like I never will again!

UPDATE: I received a reply to my negative thoughts of backpack and company policy, that I had sent to Outdoor Products on their website, offering me a free replacement.I had to send photos as evidence and hope to receive the backpack within the next couple of weeks.I will update again if this replacement fails.

Ordered this bag for an upcoming trip to Yellowstone. It fits great and seems pretty spacious. That back of the bag has great padding on it. The only problem I have with it is that it's not waterproof. It never said that it was in the description but for some reason I assumed it would be. Also, the color pink is exactly like the photo except the whole bag is one shade of pink. There is no darker and lighter shades like in the photo.

I got this backpack for my girlfriend to carry while hiking in the desert. So far she loves it!

This pack is spacious, carries a lot of weight and is very comfortable.

The only complaint I can make about the pack is that the side pouches for water bottles are very small. They will only hold a small plastic 16oz bottle and nothing bigger. This is not so much of a problem if you have a sling for your water bottle like my girlfriend does.

For the money this pack is hard to beat.

This is the best day pack I've come across for this price! I love that my insulated "unbottle" hydration pack fits in the compatible pocket and that you have the option to run the tube out from either shoulder strap! There's plenty of space and each compartment was well thought out. In the picture you see the vertical zipper which is a great pocket for the stuff you need quick at hand. The other 2 zippered compartments are panel loaders. The back panel zipper open to reveal the hydration pouch area, along with the main space for extra layers and any of your larger items you like to take with you on a day hike. The front panel zipper opens to reveal a deeper well zippered pocket and in front of that are two mesh pockets, one is zippered and the other is open to accomodate items that may extend above the pocket but still are held secure. Fair amount of pack space remains in front of those pockets and the front part of the bag. Side pockets are convenient to hold smaller go to items such as chapstick or granola bars or favorite snack. While the water bottle pockets do no hold a conventional 32 oz bottle, there are other reusable water bottles that do fit snuggly into them, some of the taller skinny 20 oz. or 24 oz. bottles work well!!! If you like what you see online this year I would buy it as when I looked up the company online they have it posted in the FAQ's that the majority of their packs are Redesigned every year!!!! I had bought my first backpack at a random store and couldn't remember where from earlier this year and was excited to find it here on Amazon!!!! I just had to have another one in case I don't like next year's design (they might change exactly what I love about this pack!) As far as it not being waterproof as I was reading in another review there are some aftermarket spray's that you can purchase and they really work well!

This backpack was at the right price and size. Unfortunately the zipper quality was poor. The zippers opened from the opposite end of the zipper pull when closed.
