The fun designs and small size of the LeSportSac backpack would probably gear toward elementary kids (girls) because they don't have to carry a lot of items.I have a neck issue and cannot wear a single strap handbag. I've loved this extremely light weight, useful, backpack style bag for a number of years. They are made of Lesportsac's famous lightweight, I think its parachute, material that takes an evil beating without breaking. I've had a beige one and a black one for at least 7 years and they've been all over Europe with me, on dozens of day hikes, used daily for work and classes and I just cannot wear them out.I finally bought a third, patterened one recently just for variety. I love the size of this 'basic backpack', it is not as large and bulky as a 'real' backpack, just the size of a larger size handbag. It holds a lot of 'stuff',including my 14 inch laptop. It looks stylish enough to wear in the city and is gentle on my neck and back. Love this bag!

Trendy 8 - 10.1 Inch Cafe in Paris Silver Gray Netbook Notebook Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case
Wouldn't' recommend this seller at all.I recently got a new job, and for that job I got a little netbook. The company gave me a bulky carrying case for it, but I just wanted a sleeve so I could stick it in any bag. I really liked the design of this particular sleeve and it is even cuter in person. My netbook fits in the sleeve nice and snug. So now I can just throw my net book into a bag and have the peace of mind that it isn't getting damaged.I have an ASUS Eee Netbook and this sleeve is a little long for it, but nothing problematic once it's tucked ito a purse. Otherwise, it's nice and cushiony without being bulky, arrived super fast, and looks great! Of the four items I ordered the same day of this transaction, this sleeve was the first to arrive!
Osprey Contrail Day Backpack
The computer pocket is 11" wide and deep enough to hold a widescreen laptop computer. I can pack file folders and documents without getting them bent, and still have room for a jacket ! Excellent organization in small front pocket and side pockets are useful for electronic chargers and things with power cords.
It fits well on the Contrail suit case (also an awesome product) and attaches on and off easily.
Add in the Osprey no-questions gaurantee, and you can't loose.
A little spendy for an office backpack, but you'll know where the money went when you use it.
If you're on the fence about this one, order it. You'll be happy.
Great job Osprey !This is a great uncluttered daypack. It would be better if the back panel opened all the way down. But it carries its load much more easily than most daypacks.

Brown PU Leather-like Material Backpack School Bag Super Cool for School-By JAM Closet
When i opened it up, i was happy about the size. it is definitely big enough for all my books, and it looks just like the backpack pictured.
I am not happy when it comes to the quality. The lining of the outside pockets is a weird plastic-y material that makes a crinkling noise when you touch your backpack. Also, the inside pocket zipper broke immediately, the very first time i tried to unzip it.
I havent gotten the chance to use it long enough to determine the durability, but it doesnt seem strong enough to last more than one school year.
Overall, the backpack was just okay.

My mom bought the bag for me for my birthday. We ordered it on Sunday and it came the Thursday. It doesn't have black straps but I still love it. It's amazingly big and I plan on using it for school. I'm excited to use it!I bought this product for my daughter...it came two days after we ordered it. The $8.29 was definitely worth it. It came in a pretty small package but the bag itself is actually quite large. My daughter is using it as a carry-on and found that it held all her stuff with room to spareI ordered this bag last Tuesday and received it the following Monday just in time for my first class. It really is beautiful and the leather like material is soft to the touch. I can't believe how much room this bag has. I'm really happy with it over all. It's classy and chic for the girl who wants a more "grown up" bag. I recieved several comments on it while on campus today. The only thing I don't like is that the straps are held to the bag with magnetic buttons that don't click together well so they keep popping open. It doesn't hurt anything because the bag is also a draw string so it's not like my books and stuff will fall out, just a tad annoying. But that is the only thing I could find wrong with it. I also love the pockets for easy access to pencils and such. A lot of backpacks tend to over do the outside pockets, but this one is just right! Completely satisfied!Navy Ipod Mp3 School Sling Backpack
- Pack is uniquely shaped
- A zip pocked in front
- An audio pocket inside and headphone outlet on top
- A detachable phone pocket on the strap
- A mesh pocket on one side
and that was my main reason to buy this, so I'm happy, this is a good product.

My big complaint is that there's no handle. I mean even an elastic type handle would make this a real gem. It's still really cool and definitely looks "sexy". Durable and padded, it will keep the laptop from scratches and minor hits. Also no room for AC adapter.Read Best Reviews of VYP-BLK-XL2: Booq Vyper XL2 (17 Inch MacBook Pro) Here

As another reviewer stated, I was wary of this sleeve due to some poor reviews of the zippers. I went ahead with my purchase anyway and have been very happy with the product. The zippers are high quality and move smoothly. The sleeve also has a little cloth lip on the inside of the zipper that prevents it from making contact with the laptop. I had thought about saving a little money and just getting a neoprene sleeve, but I wanted something with a bit more protection for my several thousand dollar laptop. The Booq Vyper XL2 gives me that. The only thing I wish it had was a zipper pocket or something else on the outside to hold memory cards/sticks and possibly the power cord. I realize that most people will be using this inside of a computer bag, so this may not be a major issue. I use mine with a Targus bag and it works great!
Mobile Edge Select Backpack
The computer pocket is super padded all the way around and on the bottom.
The photo makes it look bulky but it is not. When empty it is quite flat.
The front opens all the way up so it is easy to get into when needed. Straps are fully adjustable.
This is by far the our all time favorite backpack and we have had many good and bad ones over the years -
Rugged, Stylish, Amazing design for use,
I can't think of a single thing I would change about this one.

The material is waterproof, so it's ok to ride in the rain.
The only downside is the belly strap that is very thin, and don't help much.
Definitely recommend.
Back to School Saving - Scooby Doo Large Rolling Backpack and One Scooby Doo Wallet 38950
Logitech Kinetik 15.4 Backpack
I travel full time and my old backpack had a laptop section and then a cavernous main storage space where I could place all my gadgets and smaller hardware devices (I'm a network engineer, so I need things like spare network cables, a small network switch, and other small gear like that, as well as the ever-present wireless mouse, power brick for my laptop and a drawstring pouch big enough to carry my iPod essentials).
There are many little pouches and slits/slots for paperwork-style stuff or binders, but the only real place to keep my bulky gadgets is in the netted pocket on the lower portion of the inside of the shell. This works well enough, but because all of this weight is distributed to the front of the backpack, it has a tendency to tip over forwards when set down (even with the laptop providing counterbalance in the middle-back section of the backpack). This sort of defeats the advertised free-standing feature of this backpack. I found myself having to lean it against something or brace it in some way to keep it from falling over when not slung over my shoulder. It behaved better when fully opened and unloaded of my bulky gear, but even then it would tip forwards sometimes.
Another problem is that in order to access anything inside of the main compartments, you have to pretty much unzip it all the way, because the stiff exo-shell prevents any attempts for quick access. You might find yourself wrestling with the backpack when you're doing this, to keep it upright, because of the aforementioned problem with weight distribution. If you want easy access to anything you're carrying in this backpack, keep it in one of the smaller external zippered compartments
If you're an air traveler (like me), be warned: you may sometimes have trouble stowing this backpack on the plane because of its exo-shell. The rigid design doesn't let you squeeze it into tight spaces that would be handled just fine by an otherwise full fabric backpack (especially on those smaller regional jets with very small overheads and cramped under-seat storage).
Something that is completely missing is a side pocket for a water bottle. Lots of backpacks have these nowadays, and my old one had two mesh ones. This one has none, and no alternative external pouch.
While these things are a negative for my purposes, this is still, overall, a very nice backpack. The exo-shell definitely gives it a sleek, sharp look, and the fabric is a good quality ballistic nylon. The shoulder straps are connected along the full length of the top section of the backpack, which I feel would make it hold up very well over time, as most "traditional" backpack straps are separate and can eventually fray and come loose from the body of the backpack, requiring repair.
As far as externally-accessible compartments, the right strap contains a zippered compartment for a small/slender MP3 player or phone and a headphone port. This little compartment could also feasibly hold folded up paperwork like a boarding pass or your ID (for all those air travelers out there), giving quick and easy access that doesn't require you to un-shoulder the backpack.
There is a side zipper on the left side along the back that serves as the "official" quick-access storage compartment. It can hold more paperwork than the shoulder strap compartment and was designed specifically for this purpose.
A zippered compartment on the top of the backpack expands into the rear (laptop) compartment directly above the laptop sleeve. It makes for your best externally accessible storage for miscellaneous items.
For the main compartments, the rear compartment holds the padded laptop storage sleeve with Velcro strap on the inner wall, along with two slender storage slots for paperwork on the outer wall (the back of the backpack). I keep a notepad in the lower, full-size one. The half-size pouch above it is a tight sleeve and only good for thin items or paperwork.
The forward main compartment has a thin zippered pouch on the top of the inner wall and a good-sized sleeve about two inches wide, big enough for a binder, bunch of folders, or in my case, my spare network cables and small three-plug power cord. On the outside face of this pouch is a small elastic pouch, three pen sleeves, a bunch of business card sleeves, and a clip for things like your key ring or similar item. Opposite of this is the inside of the exo-shell, which at the top has two Velcro-sealed pouches side by side, each with graphics on them suggesting possible items you may want to keep there (iPod, small camera, mouse, webcam, thumb drives, etc). These are nice little pouches and I like them, but putting stuff in them contributes to the forward-leaning weight of the backpack. Below these two pouches is the main storage area for anything large. An elastic-rimmed mesh pouch covers it about halfway to the top, and it's good for carrying the laptop power brick and anything else of that size.
With all that said I would recommend this backpack to anyone that doesn't need to carry a lot of extra hardware beyond the laptop, laptop power brick, a mouse, and maybe another small electronic device like a camera and/or iPod. If you need more gadget space and less filing space for folders/paperwork/binders, or are thinking of using this for frequent business travel on airplanes, keep looking, otherwise, this backpack will serve you well and look good doing it. Just remember to load-balance it so it doesn't fall on its face. This is a very nice piece. Very comfortable to wear, even when completely loaded. I absolutely love the design, but then, I have hots for mesh fabrics. It does have beautiful shiny orange-colored padded back. Inside it is very roomy and yet secures not one but two laptops. I have to carry two laptops and a binder during my work day. This backpack does a great job.
Multimedia wise it was designed with you in mind: the pocket for the MP3 player (I have Classic iPod) is roomy and is located in one of the shoulder straps. This allows you to access your player without having to take your backpack off. In my opinion very smart and humane idea.
However.... with all my kudos to the makers of this great backpack, I have to mention one flaw. The outer shell is nice a matte but is very easily scratched. It takes a light tangential bump into a furniture or a wall or somebody's backpack (especially if you are a student, as I am) to leave a scratch. The worst part is all the scratches come out white. Very annoying. I am starting to think I will need some stickers to cover those ugly scratches... or maybe some shoe polish.
Other than that I love this backpack.

I purchased this backpack at risk for a 17 inch dell m6300 series laptop. To save anyone the search, the m6300 has the following measurements:D: 11.3
W: 15.5
H: 1.6
Well, I will say that it does fit into the padded compartment, just barely. It's Tight going in, and a bit tighter coming out. It may not be the safest way to carry a 17 inch laptop, being so tight, but it works for me.
The shoulder compartment for the MP3 played won't quite fit a 4th gen Ipod, but does make a nice stash spot for Jump drives, dongles and the such. All and all, it gives enough room for the laptop, power supply, mouse, A couple notebooks. a binder, and various odds and end.
The hidden compartment on the back is big enough for passports and (folded) traveling papers. The bag packed full will fit into most all carry on size check cages. Although, security will have fun making you clear out all the half hidden pockets.
The bag is well balanced, has a good amount of support, and comfortable for travel. The scuffing mentioned elsewhere is a real issue. The shell coating seems to be neoprene. For anyone who hasn't used a neoprene in the past, it is awesome in that is nigh impossible to put a permanent mark on. However, it also gets temporary marks easily. With the right amount of elbow grease and water, (or mostly any other non-astringent cleaner) you can get almost any mark out. All and all I am happy with my purchase.

I just received this bag and from the start I can tell its a keeper. While I only have a netbook, I was in the market to buy a hardshell backpack that I could use while biking to school. I figured that if I took one bad fall, my netbook and I were in for pain. That is till I came across the Kintek. It offer amazing protection. The Exo-shell is just amazing. It's rigid enough to withstand hard impacts(or punches) but shows some very subtle signs of flexing(which is a good thing in my opinion). My only gripe with the backpack is that it doesn't have a pouch on the side for water bottles which I use often.
The bag also offers so much space in such a small package; Every part of this bag is used to effectively that I wish I could purchase several of these bags for if/when this one becomes destroyed.
I simply love this bag and can only wonder why Logitech doesn't offer it on their website.
If Batman were to use a backpack, he'd use a Logitech Kinetik. This bag can comfortably accommodate my 17" dell laptop and all of the other junk that i feel i need to haul around with me. Too often the what you see on the internet turns out to be a little to big in the flesh if you know what i mean. Not so here. Additionally, its very comfortable for short to medium distances, has plenty of storage compartments that can be reconfigured (a few more compartments like that would make it great), and draws lots of interest with the shell and striking colors. The only downfall so far has been the scuff marks to the shell from my desk, doors, and walls. the white scuffs prove difficult to remove.

Microsoft Edge Messenger Bag for 17.3" Laptops (Orange Trim)
In the short time I had this bag though I was impressed by the materials used to construct it. It feels very well made and despite my not being able to keep the bag I was confident that this messenger bag was up to the task of everyday use. The handle, strap and zippers felt sturdy and well attached. The inner cushioning is substantial and I felt that my laptop would survive bumps and drops inside this bag.
Looks wise what attracted me most to this bag was that it doesn't look too professional or too much like a grungy student laptop bag. The styling is nicely in-between and I would feel appropriate carting this bag into my workplace in a suit or in more casual environments.
One of my favorite features of this bag is the orange lining. The entire inner compartment of this bag is lined in orange making finding cords, jump drives, pens or anything else a cinch. For anyone who's owned a black-on-black laptop bag and struggled to find dark colored peripherals inside their bag this will be a nice feature.
I'm a bit disappointed that I won't be able to use this bag but otherwise would recommend it to anyone with a compatible laptop.

I ordered this bag because of a co-worker's positive remarks. This is one of the few options available for a 17" laptop. Travel out of the country made this bag extremely useful. Easy to carry, lots of compartments to store cables, external hard drives, and cd's. Places for business cards, personal cards and supplies, as well as travel documents. I would recommend this bag.Read Best Reviews of Microsoft Edge Messenger Bag for 17.3" Laptops (Orange Trim) Here
It's a really nice bag, but online it said it was for a 17.3 inch screen. I just bought a new Toshiba 17.3 inch screen laptop and it doesn't fit!! The tag on the bag says it fits "most 17 inch screens", so I think online it was kind of deceiving. Then there's another tag on the same bag that says the device should be 15.5 inches. I don't understand why this has become so confusing for the customer!Want Microsoft Edge Messenger Bag for 17.3" Laptops (Orange Trim) Discount?

Alchemy Goods Union Backpack, Made from Recycled Bike Tubes, Ash/Black
Sometimes I use it to carry very heavy items, like four 1.25 inch thick full size text books, or two medium format cameras with lenses and tripod. I also live in China and travel a lot, so I use it as my carry-on bag on the plane.
I take this bag on my daily commutes to work on my motorcycle, sometimes through the rain. The bag has proven rain proof at high speeds many times and the two reflectors in the back give me a sense of safety on the road.
I get compliments and comments like "is that thing made out of..." while they inspect it, love it!!!It holds a ton of stuff, sits comfortably on my back and seems to be completely waterproof, judging by the downpour I went through last week. The water just beads up and you can wipe it off. The only quibbles: since the top is only covered by a flap, water could possibly get in the top during really heavy rain (this did not happen to me yet); also, the straps are adjustable and sometimes they adjust to full slack when there is no tension (but the straps are very easy to adjust, which is important to do to suit each load and, while wearing it, the straps stay put very well).

This backpack is one of the greatest things I've ever used. I've had mine for over a year now, and it shows very little wear, as opposed to my Timbuk2 backpack...that sadly, I have to replace about every year. The build quality and attention to detail are only something you can get in a small-production shop (in my opinion) and this definitely has it. It is nice that it is made from recycled materials, and it absolutely gets a lot of compliments. But it is understated enough to not be flashy.Reflective striping in the back has saved me numerous times, I just know it.
