I ordered this backpack to replace an older, heavy one. It's great!! Light as a feather and the waterproofing keeps out the snow and rain. I like the straps too-very comfortable and the waistband strap is great for carrying heavier loads. It holds a lot of stuff as well, with a handy smaller pouch to keep things you need quick access to. Best of all, it folds up into a very small pouch for storage.

Enjoy backpack. Is very lightweight. Must be careful not to scratch bottom due to construction. Have used for several months now & other than bottom looks brand new

This item packs into itself great feature when storing not in use... lightweight with comfortable straps that tightly secure to your back. The folding portion that seals at the top of the bag seems a little loose to ensure the water tight seam, but I guess Ill find out soon enough.

This is not waterproof. It's very flimsy and an awkward shape. The only way to open it is a Velcro flap at the top.
