Skip Hop Zoo Pack Little Kid Backpack
The backpack itself is adorable. I got it for my daughter who is in Kindergarten and she loves it. The only problem, and it is a significant one, is that it's not big enough to hold a single standard 8.5"x11" size folder. Which is quite disappointing for both of us. She really wants to wear it to school, but can't because her homework folder won't fit. If they would have made it just a couple of inches larger, the folder would fit perfectly and it would probably be the best backpack ever. That couple of inches difference makes it unusable for us.If you don't need to fit anything in there that's as large as an unfolded sheet of standard size paper in there, I would recommend this backpack.

I bought the dog backpack for my two year old son. He's about 35" tall and it's still slightly big for him, but at least it will last him a while. It's absolutely adorable and it's perfect for short trips. It holds a few diapers, some wipes, a toy and a snack with no problem. One of my favorite features is the cupholder on the side for sippy cups. I was initially a little worried about the material because it is so light in color. I figured it would be filthy in no time, but to my surprise, it wipes clean very easily. I love this cute little back pack. My son is 1 and we use it to carry his daily supplies back and forth to daycare and as a substitute diaper bag. He likes the bright colors and he knows it's his bag. We get lots of compliments on it where ever we go. It's the perfect size for a toddler and the straps are adjustable. It's sturdy and well made, and though it's on the small side, it holds just the right amount of stuff, (which for us is a lot since I'm an over-packer anyway). The name-tag inside didn't bleed and run when I wrote my son's name on it like most fabric tags do. The front pocket is great for the things you need more frequently like kleenux, and small toys, and it has a loop you can hook your keys onto. The side pouch is the perfect fit for a sippy cup. I so glad I got this; I just ordered the matching lunchbox and if I'm half as happy with it as I am with this backpack I'll be really pleased.Two weeks after I posted this review, and after barely 2 months of use, the zipper for the main compartment broke. I was heartbroken. I searched everywhere for the receipt so I could call for a possible replacement, but no luck. I spent an hour trying to repair it, which to my amazement, I eventually did, but now I feel that it's fragile and I'm waiting for it to break again. So I wanted to add this warming. Do not over-pack and stretch the zipper, it's only plastic and will stretch and bend. Keep an eye on the teeth as you can see them separating and that is your warning of impending breakage.
I know this is made for little kids, but if I was the maker of this product I think that I would use a metal zipper for the main compartment as they are stronger and can take a lot more abuse than a plastic one.
I still love and would recommend this product, I'd just be a little more careful with it.
It's now been 9 months since I repaired the zipper and I haven't had a single problem with it since then. And, we LOVE the lunch box just as much as the backpack.

Tumi Alpha T-Pass Medium Capacity Laptop Brief 26145
The Tumi Alpha T-Pass Medium Laptop Brief met or exceeded all of my admittedly high standards.In looking at the bag, I am shocked how much I am able to fit comfortably within the bag. My daily contents are: 15" MacBook Pro, Kindle, iPad/iPhone, external hard drive, Bose QC15's with carrying case, newspaper, magazine, Netflix DVDs, pack of gum, passport, and all applicable chargers.
I travel between 20-30 round trip flights per year. This bag is specifically engineered for a business commuter. In addition to holding up to every stress test imaginable, this Tumi is comfortable to carry, easy to mount to your suitcase, fits underneath an economy class seat and it's very classy looking.
Perhaps the best feature is the T-Pass. Put your laptop in the padded laptop pocket when you pack, when you head through security simply unzip one zipper and put your bag through the x-ray machine. No hassle when flying domestically. On international legs, I've been asked to remove my laptop about 75% of the time.
A perfect 5 out of 5 stars: I'm not sure if Tumi is even able to improve this incredible product. Have recommended it to many of my colleagues, several of whom have said when their existing bags run their course they will upgrade to Tumi.
Aside from T-Pass, I also like the narrow front pocket, which I think was originally designed to hold a folding umbrella. I use it to hold a small bottle of water (which the airport concessionaires sell for a ridiculous $3).
My last Tumi laptop bag was the wheeled medium-size 26102. So the only thing I miss from the older Tumi bag was the convenience of the wheels. If Tumi could somehow create a T-Pass laptop case with wheels, that would be the ultimate computer bag for me.
Update November 2012: I have travelling weekly to a client in Canada for the past 4 months and was quite disappointed that the Canadian equivalent of the TSA do not recognize the T-Pass feature. I have to remove my laptop out of the Tumi bag everytime I pass through Canadian airport security. One would have thought that North American airport security protocols should be consistent. Anyway, if you are doing a lot of domestic USA travel, the T-Pass is a great feature. If you do a lot of international travel, there is no advantage in owning a T-Pass bag; better to get the wheeled non-T-Pass Tumi bag.

I have had a number of Tumi bags, and don't like this one at all.The T-pass 'feature' consumes/wastes a ridiculous amount of storage spage, and this medium-sized bag needs that space.
The little pockets in the front take away a lot of storage space by being little and chopping up the area in the front of the bag. That wouldn't be so bad if the only other larger space could be closed. Alas, the space that they describe as great for newspapers is actually a larger, deeper space that could be used for other items if it weren't a gaping, open space.
Also, the shoulder strap is narrow and uncomfortable. I replaced mine with one off one of my old Tumi bags. Also, the clips where the shoulder strap attached is now plastic, which I guess they get away with now that no longer offer lifetime warranties. With the heavy use my bags see, I'm not expecting the clips to hold up.
All in all, disappointing for a Tumi product.
August 2012 update: it's interesting to watch the ''not helpful' scores accumulate at a far higher rate than any of my other reviews. My guess is that Tumi has people working to negate less than favorable reviews.

I've gone through 5 mobile offices in the past year...either the compartments were lacking, one big black hole, no external compartments, etc... This one is great and like my past 2, are TSA approved. I just wished it was on wheels! Week after rec'ing this, I ordered Travel Smart by Conair Heavy Duty Luggage Cart and it works great. I only use the cart w/ the bag in airports (weekly) but on client sites, I carry the bag alone as it's not long of a haul fron the rental car to the client site entry. Eagle Creek Travel Gear Id Zipper Pull Set (Lime)
For whatever reason, my TravelPro suitcase zipper pulls always break. They appear to get metal fatigue and break apart. Sadly TravelPro doesn't cover this under warranty so what to do? I tried these and they worked great!They do three things that are super useful: 1) they are super easy to attach, 2) they don't come loose from the zipper (other ones I have tried do pull loose), and 3) a bonus I didn't expect -they are colored so I can easily identify my suitcase!
I highly recommend these if you need a zipper pull!

I just returned from a 6-flight trip, and I found these too small to really help identify my bags from a large group in a claim return. 50% larger would help.
STM dp-3103-01 Jet Large Laptop Backpack, Fits Most 17-Inch Screens, Black
I searched for a bag that had chest compression straps, an optional waist strap, and a laptop case. Many of them were very big and bulky bags.This bag received a good review on a techblog on Yahoo.com.
The STM bag is very compact. There are a lot of compartments, but filling one often leads to less room in another.
For example:
* The bottom zippered pouch, which could hold your laptop charger, means there is less room in the bottom of the first zippered compartment
The medium bag can, at maximum, hold the following items:
* Macbook pro 15" + charger
* Ipad
* Cellphone / iphone + charger
* 2 notebooks (composition size)
* 2 paperback books or 1 moderate size hardcover book (don't try to fit a textbook or anything bulking in here the material has no stretch or give).
The biggest flaw is in the rain protection.
* The bag is made of a water resistant material.
* There is a small rain flap over the front set of zippers for the ipad compartment (which also holds pens and other items).
* However, there is NO SUCH flap over the second zippered compartment (the one that holds your laptop). Any rain or water, even a slight spill, is going to go right through the zipper and into the laptop compartment. This has happened to me twice, even in a light drizzle (and if you own a Macbook, it will void your warranty due to "water damage").
I ended up buying the STM branded rain cover (a silver bag that goes over the backpack). It hangs out in the bottom "laptop charger" compartment, and takes up even more room in the limited amount of room in the bag. This rain cover is a bit too bulky for the bag however it does stop rain from getting into that one zippered waterproof area.
So if you are a city commuter, using subways, buses, bicycles, don't take this bag out if there is a chance of rain you risk ruining your most valuable electronic possessions.

I have (like many others) increasingly started to carry a laptop (Mac 15") and an iPad everyday. I use an extra sleeve to keep the iPad in place while keeping the laptop in it's slot. Additionally I also travel quite a bit and I have a large multi-day backpack with a laptop slot.The day-to-day laptop back is starting to show it's age in terms of accommodating all these new gadgets and my travel back-pack is a too big to prevent all these gizmos from rattling around in the bag. The STM seemed to be the perfect middle ground solution and moreover Wired magazine had high praises for it
I have been using it for about a month now and I have also had the opportunity to travel with a couple of times and I'm happy with it overall. A few caveats though
1. It is NOT a jack of all trades. The bag is optimized to carry a laptop, a tablet and probably a few other accessories. It will be hard to use it as a general purpose backpack
2. It has a very nice and tight form-factor and there is absolutely no rocking or twisting as you walk through airports or flight aisles, a wonderful feeling, but it also means a lot of tradeoff with what you carry. After your laptop and tablet goes in, there is actually very little room for anything else more substantial. It's bit like playing whack-a-mole, stuff something up in the front pocket and you cant even put your hand down the back pocket
3. Last, the inner beading just below the zippers are too close to the zippers. This does not seem like a big deal, but in a such a tight-fitting back, I was constantly getting the zipper snagged in the beading if I wasn't careful
On the whole, despite these trade-offs, I still like the bag for what it is, but if you need a more general purpose back pack this is not a good option

Baggallini Luggage Roundtrip Bag
I love the Baggallini Roundtrip cross-body bag. I wanted something that would hold just a few items -wallet, coin purse, keys, cell phone, lip balm, comb, business cards, and possibly a pen and some paper. This is the perfect bag for these things. It could probably hold a few more things, such as sunscreen or gloves, hand wipes, and a Kindle. I love the wide straps, since narrow straps cut into my shoulders. The nylon fabric resists lint and pet hair, so it looks tidy even though my house isn't. It's much wider than my old purse, but it's very flat so I can't stuff it full of too many things. Which is great for me, but if you're looking at the height and width and expecting to be able to put a lot of things in it, you'll be disappointed. I've only had it a week, so I can't comment about durability, but it seems well-made. There are several compartments. In the picture, you can see a large and a small zip compartment. What you can't see is that the smaller zip compartment lifts up to reveal another zip compartment of equal size underneath it, just big enough to hold a wallet or keys. And there is a large pocket-style compartment in the back, held closed with one snap. Inside the main zip compartment, there is a small zip compartment and organizer pockets for holding several credit/ID/business cards, two pens, and a smartphone or PDA. The main compartment also holds a small cosmetics purse, which is clipped to a strap that attaches to the inside lining.

Pokemon Backpack & Lunchbag
Lunchbag seems well built and zipper works well. Backpack had a few sewing flaws or holes left in the seams and zipper is standard but not great. Otherwise, backpack seems sturdy enough. My son loves both of them, so we are keeping them and fixing the holes.

It's only the 3rd week of school, and already both straps have completely unraveled, so the shoulder straps no longer work. The buckles holding the straps are of such poor quality that they didn't grip the straps anyway, and kept coming undone.I also agree about it not staying upright...a very frustrating and disappointing purchase for both my 1st grader and me. My granddaughter is not only delighted with the theme of this backpack (she loves her "Hello Kitty"), but I'm impressed with its durability, ease of use and mainly, because it alleviates the back pressure she was suffering from as a result of carrying around those heavy knapsacks. My only problem comes with keeping it clean. However, that's a minor problem when you consider how much it's been bounced around, dropped, rolled around, etc.

I bought this backback when my other college backpack broke. I was looking for something that could fit my heavy science textbooks in with my laptop, without damaging the backpack, the contents, or both. This backpack does the trick!I'll start with the one negative thing I have to say. The side pockets have a drawstring to help secure the content, but the strap on one of the drawstrings has already broken. It's not that much of a problem for me, as I can simply store my waterbottle on the other side, but the strap probably should have been sturdier.
That said, it is the most spacious backpack I have ever owned for school, allowing me to fit the equivalent volume of three textbooks and my 17" laptop without the threat of breaking the zipper and without impacting the space in the three smaller pockets. The design of the straps also seems to reduce the pressure on what is usually the weakest part of the strap, the part that is sewn to the top of the backpack, so I expect the straps to last a long time. Finally, it's comfortable to wear. There is a lot of padding on the back of the backpack, as well as a small padded pouch that fits into the small of my back. Its design is well thought-out and the construction is, in almost all cases, top-of-the-line.

I am quite satisfied with this backpack. There is ample room in the padded pocket for my 15.6" laptop. And the front pocket is roomy -plenty of room for books, files, etc. The only thing really missing is a practical dedicated pocket for the AC cord/adapter. Other than that, this is a good product, exactly what I was looking for in a laptop backpack.This backpack has been fantastic with a few exceptions.1.) The Airflow on the back leaves much desired.
Airflow was a new thing for me, so I was eager to test it out. I was looking forward to feeling a slight breeze whilst walking briskly to class, but not so much. A brisk walk wasn't enough for said airflow so I stepped up my game to an Olympic Power Walk style (google it! great stuff!). Still, no drafty breeze flowing through the "airflow" cavities. Left feeling rather lugubrious, I gave the backpack one more chance to deliver on the "ariflow." I though a sprint would surely create a slight breeze...yeah, no. Instead, all I got was a shoulder rash from attempting to "feel the breeze." The rash went away quickly and has not come back, in part due to no longer attempting to achieve MAXIMUM AIRFLOW.
Question is if I had a Three Wolf Moon Shirt, would airflow be present? Challenge accepted!
2.) Them stretchy tightener thingys for the drink pockets broke with ease. First, my dog chewed up the one side and I tried to fit a 2 liter in the other side. No dice. They do fit a Nalagene bottle quite well though. You can also hide snacks in there for easy access if using one of the many pockets is too much work. Beware when trying to use them stretchy tightener thingys though, use gently or they will break.
Overall, I am very pleased with this piece of modern engineering. The craftsmanship is very nice. It holds the 30lb load shared between textbooks, laptop and all the other gadgets I dont really need, but must have on board with ease. Its comfortable too!

We purchased the bag because of the strength of material and construction. My husband is pretty rough with his backpacks (he seems to kill the zippers in all of them!!). He uses this bag daily and he is happy with it. And incredibly, I'm happy to report that all zippers and still working perfectly. One of the straps broke early on but other than that, great bag.

Been shopping online for my bf's 32nd birthday gift. I decided to get him this Ferrari bag in black since his dream is to buy a Ferrari when he gets old. A Ferrari bag is better than no Ferrari anything, right?First, shipping was fast! It ordered and it shipped the next day. The bag came in a plastic bag that had Ferrari printed on it...I guess it gave it a more classy feel to it. So me being me, I had to inspect the bag from head to toe. The bag came in excellent condition...exactly as pictured...I would say even better in person...Because I was afraid I'd get something different in person...but totally the opposite.
So the ending to my lil story is that my bf is stoked and in love with his new Ferrari bag...which makes me happy too cause I made the right choice. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I have not yet discovered just how water repellent this backpak really is. On that note, I was pleasantly surprised to find this item even better than described. Is incredibly durable and well made. The back straps are very comfortable. Even with 2 full water bottles and crammed full of stuff, this is really comfy to carry.

We were a bit disappointed in the quality of the backpack. The material is rather thin and the zippers do not seem very sturdy. The design and colors are nice but for a bag at this price level we expected something more substantial. Buy it if you want something unique but don't be surprised if it is not the best quality.
Its comfortable to carry. Beautiful colors. The material inside will last for a very long time.

I purchased this bag as a companion piece to the messenger bag that I have in the same pattern. It is roomy and I can fit two wallets, two newspapers, my lunch and still have room. The one thing I do not like which is why I give this 3 stars is that the top is zippered closed and then you pull it shut with the strings. That was in the product description, but it turns out that the zipper is small, ackward, and an absolute pain to work,sometimes you can't get it together and it separates. You cannot just close it with the strings, someone could easily reach their hand inside and grab your wallet, so closing it with just the strings on a CTA bus or a Metra train is not a good idea. This backpack is really cool. It looks great and has lots of room. I love the design and bought it for my daughter going in to high school. It seems to be well made also.

I ordered this bag in two colors, aqua and brown. The colors are well-represented by the Amazon online photos.A few things to note about the bag:
1. It does not come with a "dust bag." If you have other Biaggi-brand luggage, you'll know that they can be folded flat and stored in the accompanying dust bag. The 16" tote does not come with one, but when I contacted the manufacturer, they said they would send me one. (Still waiting for the dust bag to arrive, but the company is very responsive via their email web form).
2. The bag can hold a LOT. I was able to fit two 3" binders and my laptop into the main body compartment of the bag. I still had the smaller compartments on the front, back, and side for my other accessories, so I could have put more in the bag if I wanted. The downside is that although the straps can be worn comfortably over your shoulder, when the bag is fully loaded the straps are not long enough. Perhaps in the next version of the bag they will have slightly longer straps or adjustable straps. Alternatively, it would be great if the bag came with a crossbody strap, but with the amount of stuff you can fit in the bag, the crossbody would not be ideal for carrying when the bag is full because it would be way too heavy.
3. The front zipper compartment has great organization -slots for pens/pencils, cell phone slots, inner zipped pockets, etc. Very impressed with the functionality the bag offers.
4. The back of the bag has a section that can be unzipped so you can slide the bag over your suitcase handles. Very convenient for traveling.
5. Although it's not in the description, the bag comes with four little rubber "feet" on the bottom to protect the bottom surface. It's a nice touch because you don't see feet on nylon bags very often.

This tote is very well made and looks great. I found this bag to be just what I need to use as a carry on flying to our ship to take a cruise. Had room and space for everything I needed, such as pills, jewelry, passport and important papers. I bought this bag for my daughter to use as a travel carry-on tote to replace a bag that had worn out. The bag has plenty of convenient pockets and features, but it is on the large side. This would be fine if you don't completely fill it to its full height and maybe count on the extra space for a jacket, but my daughter is not very good at packing light so it might not have been the best choice for her. She is keeping it, though, because she likes the color and all of the pockets.
