This is a great idea, if it worked. First, the batteries don't stay in properly. You have to hold the door closed. The batteries it came with were dead, so I bought new ones. They don't work either, which tells me it's the unit itself. It's of no value if it doesn't work!

Great idea, my wife travles and of course always packs the maximum weight allowed. I bought her this thing and she loved it! (I think better than opal ring..LOL) Great stocking stuffer idea for that travler in your life!

This scale is very compact, so there should be no problem to carry it. Turn it on, hook it up to your luggage handle and lift, in a second or two you will hear the "beep" telling you it's done. Really easy!
