If you like to have lots of things in your backpack, then look further. This item is not for you. I have 4 notebooks, 1 1" binder, a small textbook, a medium textbook, and a large textbook. And after a few minutes the inside started to rip. But it was also my fault as I should of been more careful of what I buy.

I really like the look and comfort of this backpack, and the cell phone pocket is really convenient, but two immediate concerns upon unpacking.1) The built-in laptop sleeve doesn't seem to fit a 15 inch macbook pro its own padded sleeve case. The backpack's sleeve probably provides enough protection for the computer, but when inserted by itself into the backpack sleeve by itself, the macbook flops around against my back, which is really really annoying. I'm going to see if I can rig a makeshift solution to make it work and will report back.
2) The lining material seems pretty flimsy and I can imagine it ripping if any sharp-ish object is placed in the backpack. In addition, there are already some minor signs of wear in the material near the top zipper and on the straps.
Time will tell if these prove to be problems, and I'll update with what I find out...

Lewis N. Clark Nightlight Travel Clock
It's tough to write a review about a clock. It tells time and it woke me up. How's that? Not enough?OK, it is smaller than the picture makes it seem. I thought it would be bigger. This not a bad thing, small is always good when traveling. Closed, it is the size of a cigarette pack. It has a sensor to turn the backlight on only when the room is dark, and a switch to keep the light off in your suitcase.
Lastly, it woke me up. I sleep soundly, very soundly. I'm the guy that sleeps through a flight and landing when traveling. It takes a lot to wake me up. The sound isn't that loud, but it is annoying enough and at just the right pitch to wake me up....or at least hit the snooze button. Oh yeah, it has one of those too, a snooze button.

From the description this clock seemed to be exactly what I was looking for something easy to use with convenience features such as a lit dial. Sorry to say I was very disappointed with the actual product.There are some good points. It uses one AA battery, so it's easy to find a replacement should the battery die when you're traveling. The auto night light works well, and provides a soft illumination for the clock face enough to see the time, but not distracting. The alarm is a gradual style, which starts soft and gets progressively louder. The case folds up so it's compact to store while traveling.
All these good points are rendered moot, however, when it comes to actually using the clock. All the buttons are very small and located on the back (except for the snooze button). The markings are black on black, so it's very tough to figure out what to turn/push even in bright light, and impossible in dim light. The alarm on/off is a very small sliding switch again, tough to deal with in daylight, and close to impossible to work with when it's dark and you've just woken up. The alarm set knob only turns in one direction and, like the clock setting knob, is tiny and hard to turn.
The biggest problem is the build quality. The battery cover is very loosely attached and is destined to fall off. I've already had to put a piece of tape on it to keep it covered. This is not a product that will stand up to the type of abuse a travel alarm tends to get.
Not worth the price no better than clocks that are half the price.

This is a great little clock! The illuminated display has 2 brightness levels, when the sensor switch is turned on, and darkness is detected, the face illuminates at a level that is comfortable for sleeping. When the light button is pressed the display brightens to a higher illumination. I would recommend this clock.Update:
After going on 2 trips with this clock, it has stopped keeping time. Amazon is rushing me out a replacement, and I am going to give this clock another shot because I really like the size and readability at night.

Great little alarm clock, and I like the feature that lets you turn the power off to save the batteries when not in use. Compact and reliable in my experience.The only little thing I wish was different, is that to get the dial to glow, you have to press a button. Wish it was glowing in the dark all the time.

I was looking for a simple leather case (although not real leather) that was slim and classy looking. Its really great you can carry it anywhere and look professional and it fits great in a bag. Inside is a soft cloth material that kind of cleans your Air too. Has a magnetic lock that closes it very tight and simple. Although you have to slide the thicker end of the Air first or it wont lock other than that in super happy with my purchase.
Flaws: Seemed too tight for a sleeve. Had to insert it from the thin side for my Girl's Mac Book Air. Also theres a logo that wasnt on the picture and the color shown in the picture was a bit light wheresas the real product has a darker shade to it BTW its Coffee Brown.
Overall im satisfied except for the tight fit.Speedy shipping item was here in no time. I only wish that there was somewhere to put the charger with this case but from the picture it was not my expectation either. Other than that, great case very professional looking and lightweight.This was a great sleeve. Slim & good looking.
It *was* great ... until it fell apart on me.
I should of heeded the warning photos that another user submitted, showing a sleeve that was peeling apart at the seams. "That won't be me," I thought, "I take care of my stuff."
But after about a month of daily use, sliding it into my messenger bag, the corners started peeling. I bought it 6 weeks ago and the return window closed 2 weeks ago.

EDIT: EasyAcc responded promptly to this review and graciously offered a replacement which I declined in favor of a refund. My rating reflects the product itself, though EasyAcc should be commended for their exceptional customer service.

It is so unfortunate that this item is so poorly made, but it perfectly demonstrates the problem with ordering things online. If I saw the flimsy construction and below grade zippers in person I would never have purchased it. Pretty smart of the seller to only give a 30 day return window...the zipper on the outside pocket lasted eight days, the zipper on the main compartment completely faulterd today, and I'd already had to fix it once. About 10 days after the deadline. Lesson learned. Buyers beware, this backpack lasts an average of 30 days only. Don't throw your money away. I should really learn to not give in to my child's requests, and buy a backpack made by a reputable manufacturer. Shame on LEGO, it says this is a licensed product. Timbuk2 Option Laptop Backpack - Medium
I have used just about every messenger bag and backpack on the market, mainly when I was a bike messenger. These days I just want a small comfortable backpack for going to the library, or work, or other small trips. I do not need a gigantic delivery backpack such as Ortilieb, but I did need waterproof since I bring my SLR camera and iPad with me just about everywhere.The straps fit very comfortably and are curved allowing the bag to swing to your front like a messenger bag when only using one strap. This is best to do on the right shoulder to get access to the many pockets/laptop area. I like how both straps are separate and do not have a collar connecting the such as the Baileyworks and Chrome backpacks, with those I always felt like I was wearing a life preserver.
So many pockets, holds everything I need daily like my lunch box, SLR camera, iPad, bluetooth keyboard, raincoat, glasses case, a book to read, and more. The main cargo pocket is small but sufficient, you can carry two 6 packs on top of each other. The side pockets are too small for a water bottle but hold my keys or cell phone or umbrella without losing its contents. I really like how all the pockets have zippers (except the two side ones) and its just a well made classic looking bag. A Bottle opener on the left shoulder strap is a nice touch as well. If you are looking for a waterproof version of a regular school backpack then this is your bag.

Incredibly disappointed with my purchase of this bag. The bags square shape and narrow straps make the bag feel as if it is constantly slipping off your shoulders, I must adjust the straps at least 5 times a day. Having said that, I am a average size male (5' 9") commuting to work in a Midwestern city. I purchased this bag in the late fall and have been using it through the winter thus far and have found that if I wear anything thicker than a sweater the bag is incredibly uncomfortable. I have come to the conclusion that this bag may be more suitable for women or can only be worn in warmer weather. Forget about using this while wearing a coat. The build quality is nice, but the laptop padding is pretty nonexistent and the storage is minimal. Outside my laptop, I can typically carry my iPad, a large book, and some ancillary items. You know that small item you had shipped to work because it's convenient? Yeah, that's not going to fit in the bag on the commute home... so get used to carrying.Several coworkers love this brand, which is why I gave it a shot. Sadly, I think I just chose the wrong model and now have a bad taste in my mouth. I'll keep it around for the summer when I need a small light carryon or travel bag for the day, but a practical work bag it is not. Bummer.

I purchased this bag after an extensive search to replace a much much-loved worn-out Kenneth Cole backpack that was discontinued. As I carry my work life with me each day in NYC on foot and subway, I am extremely fussy about my bag's functional and style features. As well, I am a small and not young woman, so fit and weight are very important. Never thought I'd find something I like as well as my former bag, but I love this one even more. As a former bike messenger, I have always been a Timbuk2 fan.The Option looks good, fits beautifully snugly against my back, and has numerous great features. Watertight, all those compartments and pockets, even that cute Napoleon pocket for the Metrocard and small bills and change when my outfit has no pockets. Can fit a NY Times and my files in the main compartment, makeup and pens and other miscellaneous items in the smaller section, cellphone and sunglasses in the side pockets, etc. etc. And with the bottle opener on the strap I am always ready for a brewski.

I bought this backpack because I liked the design of it. All too often I used to worry about zippers unexpectedly opening and loosing items while commuting, bicycle riding, walking, etc. This backpack has a messenger bag / Japanese schoolbag (randoseru) feel to it and I don't worry about anything falling out (other than my water bottle).*Three front zipper pockets hold and organize the little stuff. Under those is a "sneaky" side pocket that I can get to without opening the top flap.
*Inside is one, deep main pocket that typically holds: a few folders, a 1/2 inch binder, a calculator, usually three or four softcover textbooks, my makeup pouch, a few snacks or lunch, and a shirt or sweater folded on top.
*The side pockets that would normally hold a water bottle are not very useful, as a standard reusable water bottle will not fit easily. I use one for my hand sanitizer and coin purse (the pockets are deep and I haven't lost anything yet). The other for the occasional water bottle I pick up for a buck at the cafeteria.
*The laptop pocket is against your back and is lined with a red-bubbled-foam for cushion; there is no other cushion or support for your back other than this. I keep my Kindle Fire in this pocket and my electronic Japanese dictionary. They are both small, thin items and I feel they are safe in there. They rest on the bottom and I just barely feel them on my lower back.
*The material is easy to clean! I also take this bag to the beach, on bicycle rides, and for picnics. It stays clean on the outside and is easy to wipe clean on the inside.
I already knew Timbuk2 makes durable bags and I thought it was more sleek and professional looking for a backpack. I have used this bag everyday for school, work, etc. since I received it. I find it comfortable considering I have shoulder problems; the cut of the straps, along with the laptop padding, offer plenty of support. This backpack seems to be just what I was looking for to replace my previous bag.
I did not buy this bag because it was considered "laptop friendly." In fact, I would not suggest this bag for anyone with a laptop. I could not imagine having a laptop in that pocket and wearing this bag; it would be too uncomfortable on your shoulders and back to carry.

I got a laptop a year ago it's an Hp and very heavy and comes with a bulky charger too. I was afraid i would only be able to carry just the laptop in this case but it fit my charger and my laptop. Sometimes i even put my phone charger in there. There's even handles so you can carry it and their hidden inside the bag. Love the material and the design. I even got compliments for the skin sticker. I would recommend putting the sticker on first then trimming it. Because when i first trimmed it i didn't account for the sides so i trimmed an extra piece to cover that up. I had this for over a year now and the only problem with the bag is one of the zippers seem to be broken and the skin is starting to off a little from the sides but i sort off expected that from all the times i have used them both.Save 27% Off

I ordered this bag when hubby and I were going on a cruise as a woman I always over pack and normally I end up with 5-6 bags when traveling so I needed something that I could put everything into one. This bag is AWESOME. it held all of my clothes, shoes, cosmetics and souvenirs when we returned. I ordered my husband one of these too but his was lost in the mail and we did not have enough time ti get a replacement from Amazon before we left for the trip so I can not give you a review on packing it from a male perspective. After we returned from the cruise I had to go to a business conference for a week again I was able to pack everything and have enough room for a 17 inch laptop. I have mixed opinions on this diaper bag. The dimensions listed were larger than the actual bag. The wipes container is nearly impossible to get the wipes out without ripping the wipes, and the cover keeps popping open. It is a very well made bag and the pockets are great.
Gregory Women's Deva 70 Backpack
I went to a local store INTENDING to get a Kelty (cheaper) but most manufacturers have gone to the adjustable torso. Turns out, at least in Gregory, my torso measures between 14 and 15 inches. That means that in an adjustable model a lot of the weight would be above my shoulders/head which makes me unstable and top heavy.Gregory has a FANTASTIC reputation. I shelled out $60 (on discount, it would have been $140 at MSRP) extra (compared to the Kelty I was looking at) to buy the XS version of this bag and I LOVE it. I've only done 4 miles at 5000ft (my norm) and 20lbs with this, but I didn't feel the weight in my hips, back or shoulders. At the end of the trail I was ready to be 20lbs lighter again, but my hips, shoulders and back felt absolutely normal.
I love the sleeping bag zone, the mid-section access and the little pockets on the hip belt.
Warning I've seen reviews where someone packed this with 70lbs and the seams split...if you go to the Gregory website, this bag is only rated to 50lbs. It is VERY sturdy, but can only carry what it can carry. If you need to carry more than 50lbs, you'll want to get the Deva 85.
I HIGHLY recommend this brand to women with smaller torsos. Your balance will be so much better with a pack that is not "one-size fits all" as we all know that is a crock of smelly stuff! You simply have to have a good backpack if you are traveling long distances or carrying large weights and you don't want to cheap out. Cheap out on other gear, but get a good backpack!

I am 5'5" 135lbs. I love the Deva 70, I got the small which is perfect. Very comfortable well balanced bag. Definitely worth a look.I am a highly experienced backpacker and for 4 days was tortured by this pack and intend to sell mine immediately. I tried EVERYTHING to make it comfortable. Nothing worked. My shoulders hurt, my hips hurt, it totally lacks adjustability. I'm buying an Osprey. It looks great and has wonderful pockets and little zippers etc. It's amazing for travel but terrible for long backpacking trips...and I wasn't even carrying very much weight. DON'T BUY THIS PACK-IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I do have bony shoulders and hips but I am currently bruised!!!

Pros:Exactly what I was looking to carry dog stuff (water, bags, balls etc) during our daily 2-4 mile walks. Very well designed and balanced, comfortable to wear x-body and very lightweight.
There is easy access to water bottles on 2 exterior pockets on each side with ample pockets, easily accessible with one hand, on the interior of the bag and underside of flap.
The best design element are the hidden magnets on the flap which automatically grabs the flap shut.
This is the perfect item to use in the summer (or anytime) if you want to carry a lot a, need hands free, easy access to contents. Folds up into a small intergrated zippered pouch so it would be perfect as a "just in case" travel bag because of it's large opened size.
Cons:
Unlike another of the chico bags of the same description, the wrinkles don't work themselves out when the bag is opened, even after several days. They were so bad, I sent it back.
If the wrinkles don't bother you, this is a great bag in every other way
I highly recommend any of ChicoBag's products.

That's right, I liked this laptop backpack/case so much that when the first one was stolen last month, I bought an identical replacement. I'm a 66-year old woman who went back to grad school last year and realized that I needed something other than the canvas bookbag we used "back in the day." For one thing, we didn't have laptops forty-five years ago and nobody used a backpack except for camping & hiking. So not only was I looking for something functional, but also something "like the other kids had." But my tastes have changed a little, too, over the years, and I wanted something unique, sophisticated, comfortable. I searched the Internet long & hard before settling on this case (the act of shopping is recreational for me).This model had everything I wanted: a few pockets for miscellaneous stuff, a dedicated one for discs, good padding in the main compartment, space for a couple of books, too (so good design). And, it was very good-looking: thinner profile than standard backpacks (doesn't knock over people when you squeeze by -or look clunky); made of charcoal herringbone fabric with pink pin-stripes, trimmed with black patent (tasteful, sophisticated, dirt won't show), really comfortable straps and balance. An added hand-carry handle on the top so it can be carried like an attache case was a bonus. The water bottle pocket zips out when needed, but doesn't show when it's not in use (sleek). Not heavy.
All this and priced under $75? Obviously, I snapped it up.
This one and its stolen twin have worn extremely well over 2 years of use -in fact, virtually no signs of wear at all. Not only does it work, I can't count how many compliments I've gotten on it. If someone tried to steal this one, I would hunt him down like a dog.
The backpack has one large padded pocket that holds your laptop and that has easy access through a top zipper (that goes all the way down the sides), and then another full length pocked under the "flap" that gets held in place by the small silver buckle you can put a few files or papers in here (I wouldn't plan on putting in full file in here). There is then also a smaller pocket in this area for your phone, mp3 player, pens, mouse, wallet. The bottom pocket is easily accessible and holds all of my computer cords.
It also has a water bottle pocket that can be zipped and hidden away. The pocket is a good concept but is too short for most water bottles you need to plan on only carrying a short or small bottle.
The backpack is also cute I get compliments on it every time I use it, and get asked where I got it every time I use it.

I was disappointed when I received this back pack. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be and would not be enough to hold all of my items. I take a bus to work in the morning and walk two blocks to get to my building. I need something that will hold my laptop, my lunch, and other items. This back pack does not have the sufficient space.It also does not have a separate pocket for a laptop, as I have seen in just about every other back pack throughout the years. Basically if you only carry a laptop in this specific back pack it will not be secured, which in turn will obviously not work out too well for your computer! Even my elementary school kids' back packs have this feature and I paid a lot less for theirs. I figured paying a little extra might get me a little quality, but my kids' back packs are far superior to this one... Being that this is listed as a "Laptop Backpack", I was a little surprised...
I don't think I've ever returned anything I have purchased from Amazon, but five minutes after I examined it I immediately submitted my return request.

Bought this for my daughter after she dropped her Macbook Pro on her way to class. She refused to carry her laptop in it's briefcase bag because it wasn't fashionable enough. So we searched for an acceptable bag. This fit the bill perfectly. Now she looks "cool" and the laptop is protected. This bag is well made and has hidden handles which fold away inside. NOTE you can't do the zips up completely if you are using the handles but the zips don't come undone on their own so this is not a problem.
