Might be a great backpack for an older child but not on my 1 1/2yr old daughter. Not roomy enough for diapers/pull-ups, wipes, a change of clothes and a couple of toys. Not made very well either....we've already broken the top hook on the back!

i was very excited to get this bookbag, i wanted to have a cute bag for when school started. This is my second week in school and my straps are already falling off ( hardly put heavy books in bags) the leather like material is already falling off. thought this could last me at least a semester but i find my self looking for a new book bag. This backpack is very large and it fits my books and my lunch bag with some room to spare. My previous backpack was a Teton Bookbag, which was a great backpack but it was much smaller than this one. The laptop sleeve is very nice, but it is too large for my 13 inch mac book.

I purchased this backpack after my previous backpack finally fell apart after more than 10 years of use. After much research, it seemed clear that the Jansport Merit Backback was the one to go, and at the offered price (less than half than list price; I checked in stores!), it was unbeatable. I have used this backpack since many times and I am more than happy with it, it is very robust, has a lot of space, is easy to handle and comfortable. Highly recommended!
it's great! the bag is a bit difficult to get into once it's strapped to your back but I am totally fine w/ that. the entire thing folds open once you slide the main strap's velcro closure apart.
IPOD CONTROLS SUCK AND SOUND QUAILITY SUCKS........... Somethings are to good to be true.. Great backpack besides that , but I bought it for the IPOD hook up and it does not work very well.

We got this backpack for my son to use to carry his books to and from school, and after only a month or two of use, the entire bottom seam ripped open. It's now completely useless with a huge hole in the base. Time to buy a replacement--but a different model. Avoid this one if you are considering it.
I love this clutch! It's just big enough to hold the essentials for a night out. You're not going to be able to close it with much more than a cell phone and some lipstick and credit cards in it, but who wants to carry a gigantic bottomless purse on a date night?

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. Handles her computer and all of the rest of her stuff with ease. She needed one that travels well and this is perfect. It is comfortable, distributes weight well and helps keep her organized. Very durable too.
I purchased the B/w Hounds tooth pattern in the JanSport messenger bag and it's OK. It's well contructed and seems durable and I got compliments about the bag, but it was a little larger than I expected and there are not enough zipped pockets to organize things. If you want things organized in a bag, this is not the bag you want. The two small pockets on the inside of the bag should have had zippers on them and the two storage pockets for pens/pencils were too narrow to put anything in. The inside of the bag should have also had a zipper across the top and the large zipped pocket at the front should have been broken up into 2 or 3 smaller zipped pockets. The largeness of the outer pocket just made it hard to find anything you put in there. I have a heck of a time looking for my mp3 player, cellphone and transit passes if I put anything else in there...which I usually do. Everything keeps spilling out of there if you're not careful. Bottom line is this bag looks nice, and is well constructed but needs to be redesigned for better organization.

As an older woman returning to college I did not really want to carry a backpack. This bag is large enough to carry my laptop when needed, three or four large paperback text books and a binder. There is a small, mesh pocket inside that holds my large graphing calculator and pencils. This is a good deal for a pretty decent quality laptop bag. I had previously bought another one double the price of this which I retuned in favor of this bag. Lots of little pockets it's great. Bought it for my teenage daughter.
It fit my Dell Inspiron 1525 (size 15.4") very well. I've been shopping around and returning a few laptop sleeves I would buy from stores because they would not fit my laptop. I do not like the laptop sleeves with the zippers because I'm afraid that the teeth would scratch into the body of my laptop when I slip it inside. This one has no zippers and it stretches so no worries about your laptop getting scratched. Color is great as well.

This has a zipper at the top of the head and opens up a small pocket that covers the back of the head-the pocket doesn't go all the way down the body. You couldn't even fit a little golden book in there. It's cute though.

Nice little sleeve with fold away handles if you are carrying it around. It was a good fit for my macbook pro (13inch) and seems to be made of decent quality material. The inner is not as soft as it could be (not a complaint it just isn't furry soft) but it has a good zip and decent traction when you carry it without the handles.
