this bag over all is made very good but the zipper is of poor plastic my son has carried it a total of 2 days and the zipper has already came out so in good faith if you want a bag that zips this is not it

The picture is deceiving, it makes it look like a very sturdy bag but it is quite flimsy. I bought this for my husband and he said that every time he set it down his keys and wallet and pens where falling out. He also would have preferred a bit more cushion and support for his laptop. He has gone back to his old bag.

I really like the style of this bag and it seems to have held up good (had it about a month). The only thing that bugs me is the lack of pockets on the inside. I use it as a purse and will be putting my laptop in there when school starts, but there's only 4 pockets on the outside, only one of which has a zipper, so I sometimes feel uneasy using the other ones.

Dakine Interval Wet/Dry Pack

This is a great overall backpack. I needed a new backpack to replace the one I use for work and I was worried that this backpack wouldn't have enough space to store all the things i carry for work (laptop that's inside a laptop sleeve, papers, pens, all sorts of computer cables, ipad, and some other misc. items), but upon receiving it all my worries were resolved. This backpack is very spacious and has tons of pockets to help keep my items organized, rather than just throwing all the items together in one or two main sections. The pockets on this backpack include...

-A wetsuit pocket that is located on the side that touches your back. Unfortunately my work does not require that i have a wetsuit, but this pocket has worked out well for me to store all of my work documents/notebooks. It's a very spacious pocket that extends throughout the whole backside of the backpack.

-The main compartment pocket works as a perfect place for my laptop and iPad to sit, with plenty of space to spare.

-There's an accessory pocket which is great for storing any items you would normally carry in your pocket and/or a great pocket to store your sunglasses.

-Front top pocket is a great place to store my pens/pencils, thumb drives, etc. and has plenty of room items.

-The front bottom pouch is one of my favorites which is the cooler pocket where you can stash about 2-3 12oz cans along with some ice and not have to worry about the rest of your backpack getting soaked from it, due to its waterproof interior lining.

-There are also two side pockets which are great for storing whatever you'd like, but I'd suggest two more drinks (1 in each pocket) to refill your cooler pocket with when needed.

This backpack is a great multi-purpose backpack. I would recommend it to anyone needing a spacious backpack for school, work, or travel. This backpack seems very durable and not only does it have plenty of space, but it also looks awesome, too.

The item has some great useful features especially for those who surf however I was disappointed to the wet/dry section the material lining was not stitch into the seam. We may be returning product back for replacement

Actually, this backpack is really nice. As far as I can say (without ever having used it), the material is nice and it looks like it will survive over time (like I said, I never used it, so I can't say, if in reality, that is true).

Besides the look and the material, I liked both, the backpack is really tall. So not really made for short people. Also it is rather thin, so if I really want to use the complete room, I would have to stack the stuff on top of each other...which would annoy me, since I would have to dig for the stuff I put in first. Additional to that already thin backpack, all "outside" pockets actually take the room inside the backpack. So if you put something in the cooler pocket, you already used space of the main department. Same goes for the department on the back of the backpack. I find that really unhandy since it already has not that much space, unless you like stacking.

So overall, it looks like it could be a nice backpack, but since I am rather short and not a fan of stacking stuff in my backpack, it was not for me.

I've had 2 GLO bags now, and I couldn't imagine having to go back to a duffel bag for my morning routine. The level of thought put into this bag's design is amazing. Everything you need to get ready for your day will have a place in this organizer, and it will be easy to find! Even better, your sweaty shoes and clothes can be separated from the rest of your "dry" items until you get home: genius! I'm a very busy woman and use this bag every weekday; it's a lifesaver.

I love this bag. Sometimes I am forced to use the gym during peek times and the locker room can be very crowded. And sometimes I have to change from running clothes to swimming clothes, then dress for work. Being organized saves me minutes that I would rather spend doing laps in the pool.

I read with interest some of the reviews that wished the product had better zippers or was made with higher quality materials. I just don't see it unless you are comparing this with a Tumi or other $400 piece of luggage. And this is for the gym. I'd rather replace it in a few years than drop that much cash for a gym bag.

So this is a definite recommend for price, quality and functionality.

I like this bag. It's cool that it's more like a backpack than a bag. The compartments are a good size for the day's gym trip. The only problems I've had are the zippers aren't as smooth as I'd like. High Sierra Sheridan Daypack

This is a very comfortable back pack,I did a lot of research before purchasing. It was the best "over all" pack (without spending a fortune), out there that I could find. I needed this backpack for short day hikes. It is easily accessible, good zippers, lots of compartments, good straps and back support.

I bought this to use for my daily commute. I didn't require something that would take a beating, but I did expect it to handle light jostling in one month's use, it's becomming useless!!! Within the first week, the plastic thumb rest loop broke. Disappointing, but still working. Now, it's been one month The shoulder strap adjustments do not grab the straps, so one of the straps is always sliding and lossening. Last week, the key clip broke. DO NOT BUY!

Gregory Women's Dipsea 6 Backpack

I bought this so I could stuff my work clothes in it and run home. I love it. The straps are very adjustable so you can cinch everything down tight, but it doesn't pinch or bind. It's light and very comfortable to wear. Thanks to the shovel pocket and bungee, it also holds more stuff than you'd think. It's a great backpack that really fits my needs.

The color wasn't what I expected; it looks more purple than black. The elastic bands across the front are definitely purple. Looks like the back pack sat in front of a store window and faded. The size is exactly what I expected because I saw the back pack, albeit different color, in a store.

I purchased this to avoid hand carrying on day hikes with my German Shepherd. It is perfect; fits everything I need for up to one day, including water, food, wallet, keys, glasses, dog treats, etc. It has 2 small side compartments that are easily accessible and these are my favorites. The daypack fits very comfortably due to the easy stap adjustments. I am 5 ft 9 in and of medium to thin build, however I don't think the chest strap and waist strap would adjust to fit a very robust person. The chest and waist straps make carrying easy, most of the time I don't even realize it is on. There is no movement of the pack that causes irritation. Quick snaps make for easy on and off. The only item I carry separately is my camera. The pack would fit a small camera, but I like to have mine more accessible. The color is darker than pictured, more of a burgendy, but still very pretty. The fabric feels very durable, haven't used it in rain yet, so I don't know how it fares in wet weather.

I really, really wanted this backpack to work, since I had been searching.... A lot. This is a great, great messenger bag, but doubling as a backpack it is really awkward to put on with the way the straps work.

Here are the pros:

The leather is beautiful.

The quality of the bag is great.

Its nice looking on.

Here is the only con for me:

The straps are awkward. Every time I tried to put the backpack on (in backpack mode) I would have to really wiggle around and try to get the straps right, and straight. What I learned is if the top straps are not attached to the pack for a backpack and are not stable and not directly connected to the pack then it is really hard to put the backpack on.

If you look at the image of the backpack closely you will notice that the bag can be either a messenger bag or a backpack. Its great as a messenger bag, but I really want a backpack.

There was nothing wrong with backpack, but I now understand that the straps need to be attached to the top of the bag so that it is stable for putting it on.

Before I purchased this bag, I read reviews all over the web, including on Sak's website. It didn't get the best reviews, but I was extremely attracted to the color and versatility of the bag. When I received it, it was as I expected. It isn't top quality leather, but I looked closely enough at it online to see what the texture would be. I purchased a different bag for $250 at another store, which was supposed to be leather, and I think the quality of this leather is nicer. I returned the other one and kept this Sak bag.

The camel color is rich, and I do find it works great as a messenger (although I am 5' 2" it hits me right at the hip) and also a back pack. I had read that the loops slip when you wear it, but I haven't experienced that yet. The main compartment is rather small, but based on its dimensions I didn't expect to be able to fit anything more than an iPad and other essentials.

I haven't had it for very long a few weeks so I can't speak to its longevity, but I feel it was worth the price I paid and will get a lot of use out of it.

Back to school is always fun! (for shopping anyways) Time to retire a two year old back pack and what a great replacement. Our second grader for obvious reasons loved the Scooby Doo design and the telescopic handle with wheels on the base of the pack. We pack lunches and with any extra items this is way better than lugging a heavy pack around. You can also use the attached straps as well if there is a need to carry like a traditional pack. The construction seems durable enough and I am curious to see how well the wheels hold up, but I am optomistic. The graphics are way better than I could have imagined and Scooby is actually furry! As far as educational value... If it helps a child enjoy going to school just a little bit more, it is well worth it. Glad my wife found this one, and with Amazon Prime, we all thought this was a great deal. It was a big hit on the first day of school!

My son loves Scooby doo and absolutely loves this back pack. It seems to be well made (but we have only been using it a couple of weeks).
