I got this pack because I thought it was similar to the Ariel but in better colors and had pockets on the hip belt (for camera, chapstick, pepperspray), turns out the fit was different enough through the shoulders for me, I had to send it back. I'm an hourglass shape and 5'4" so I'm broad through the shoulders and find that many packs rub my shoulder blades. And the 'eggplant purple' coloring is way off, it's a burgundyI really wanted the purple shown in the picture! Not the pack for me, but a really great pack for a slightly different body shape.

I love it! Everything about it is great. The only thing that I would change is the amount of pockets. There is one main pocket and then a very small pocket. High Sierra Sheridan Daypack

This is a very comfortable back pack,I did a lot of research before purchasing. It was the best "over all" pack (without spending a fortune), out there that I could find. I needed this backpack for short day hikes. It is easily accessible, good zippers, lots of compartments, good straps and back support.

I bought this to use for my daily commute. I didn't require something that would take a beating, but I did expect it to handle light jostling in one month's use, it's becomming useless!!! Within the first week, the plastic thumb rest loop broke. Disappointing, but still working. Now, it's been one month The shoulder strap adjustments do not grab the straps, so one of the straps is always sliding and lossening. Last week, the key clip broke. DO NOT BUY!

It is comfortable on my back and shoulders, due to cushioning and wide straps. I feel confident that my laptop is safe and secure in this pack as I lug it to and from my job as a school teacher. Dakine 28-Litre Burnside Pack

This is a decent backpack roomy, reasonable comfortable when loaded up, and lots of pockets for storing stuff. The padded laptop sleeve feature with the side access zipper is also very convenient and it has a nice padded back behind the shoulder straps.

The big problem I see is that this was designed to be a skateboard backpack. Problem is, the fabric the backpack is made of doesn't hold up well to the abrasiveness of skateboard grip tape. I've had this thing for less than two weeks and the fabric where the grip tape of my skateboard rests is already looking quite worn in spots and will surely rip eventually. Not good. On the area where the board is supposed to rest, the designers at Dakine should have reinforced the fabric with something more durable and resistant to abrasiveness.

I got him the one with black stripes for Xmas, and he absolutely loved it. He skateboards, and we ride bikes so we are always needing extra space to carry our belongings. Our phones, our bike locks, and tools that way may need can all be carried securely in one of the many compartments. Dakine has great products. I'm currently looking for one that will fit me.

This bag is beefy, tough, and durable. I've been riding with it for about a month now in the ridiculous New England winter which has involved freezing rain, snow, sleet, slush, rain, wind, salt, and general grossness. Oakley Men's Computer Laptop Bag

Great design... Looks awesome... but the bag is made of cheap ballistic nylon that frays easily. Also the strap is designed to be used on a shoulder and not across your body.

I loved this computer bag, while it lasted. I travel weekly, and used this for my 15 in laptop. It quickly (and I do mean quickly) detoriated. It seemed like in the end, the stiching wasn't that great as the seams came apart in about two months.

I'm a big fan of Oakley however, so I hope (and think) this was just a case of bad luck. I moved on to the Vertical messenger bag however, and have had no problems with it.

Nice product. Light weight. However, having used the Xenon 1 I expected higher quality. The materials that are used for this briefcase are of lower quality most of the fabric, the carrying handle, and plastic instead of metal. The bottom of this briefcase is not padded at the level that the Xenon 1 was.

it is one top loader empty from any pockets inside it, so when I insert my laptop, and would like to put the cable, it might scratch it because there is nothing to keep it away from the laptop surface

the front pocket is quite fit small stuff, but couldn't include the cable there, so i had to wrap the cable with soft cloth bag

the bag looks very nice for business, elegant and style, it is just not so much practical for business if you need to include some paper work as it had to be with the notebook which might bend the papers if the laptop move up and down during your move in car

the fabric is very nice, but not made for hard work, so it need a special care and cleaning, and that might create extra cost for cloth caring products

Compared to it's larger cousin, this bag is really small (one pocket) but it is really light. So light that I fear loading it down too much because the strap clasps are plastic (unlike the bigger version with metal clasps). Not a bad bag for everyday light usage, but I would recommend the larger one over this one.

I recently used this luggage for a weekend getaway. At first I thought it won't carry that much and was thinking to instead use the 20 inch. But I needed one right away and this 17 inch happened to arrive first. Anyway, this did not disappoint! I was able to pack 3 pairs of pants, 2 light sweaters, 2 shirts, a pair of pajamas, a pair of shoes, a hair dryer, several pieces of underwear and socks, toiletries and my kindle and the cord, which fit perfectly in the outside pocket. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars was because it seemed to scratch easily. I travelled by car nad there were already a few scratches on the plastic side. I am thinking of ordering the same style 28 inch bag and am a little worried now of using it for international travel. I hope it won't get so scratched up when checked in.

Multi-color Drawstring Backpack

I bought it for my boyfriend for the gym. Just got this bag and it was everything I had hoped for. It is a bit on the small side so if you are looking to cram a lot in buy something else. I wanted something smaller for my frame and do not carry much more than my laptop so it works great. I am able to fit my 13" macbook, a notebook and a 1" binder comfortably in the main pouch with a little room to spare and have plenty of room for pens, wallet, keys etc. in the other smaller compartments. It seems to be very durable but I haven't had it very long. Like a previous review mentioned it is definitely not black but more of a very dark grey and it came with two additional straps (purple and light grey) if you do not like the green. Osprey also has unique round zipper pulls which I find fun.

Osprey -how do I love thee, let me count the ways. The easy access front of the front flap holds my keys and subway pass (no need to fiddle with straps). The velcro is SERIOUSLY strong (it was full of stuff, I forgot to close the straps, but the velcro held it shut all the way home). Cross body style (and strap to hold it snug to the body) means that my hands can be holding on to the kids, NOT my bag, and my stuff is still safe. LOVE IT!

I felt I was leaving behind the 'backpack' stage of my life, and wanted something different for work. I use a 13" MBP, and this bag is perfect and roomy enough for the laptop, various other small electronics (iPad mini) and cables, cosmetics, AND a small purse. In fact, the only drawback to this bag is that it's so very well designed, with so many convenient and high-utility compartments, that it's easy to overload it to the point that the strap digs into your shoulder uncomfortably. I think this is half "just carry less junk" and half "strap could use a little more padding". I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Had this bag since December of 2012. Only one string of the zipper has popped. It's an awesome backpack all around. Spacious inside and in the front compartments. More than enough room is in the top compartment as well for that easy access. Puma needs to construct their zippers better, that's my only issue. I own many Puma products but two bags, and in both bags, the string has popped.

I bought this product for a friend who had a laptop, but was sleeveless. I would give this product a 5 star, but 1 star taken off because I wasn't careful enough to read the product description carefully. The product says "Dot No 8", which is NOT what amazon put as the picture above. The product is actually a multi-colored polka dotted sleeve. I already sent a message to amazon about a picture fix, but I don't know when that will happen. Anyways, this product was nice. Like the review below, the nice part is that you can remove the laptop from your backpack, while still keeping the sleeve in your backpack. I like the sleeves "curvature", wrapping itself around your laptop.

This is a great product, but I learned my lesson to make sure to read the product description, not the product picture!
