Dakine 28-Litre Burnside Pack

This is a decent backpack roomy, reasonable comfortable when loaded up, and lots of pockets for storing stuff. The padded laptop sleeve feature with the side access zipper is also very convenient and it has a nice padded back behind the shoulder straps.

The big problem I see is that this was designed to be a skateboard backpack. Problem is, the fabric the backpack is made of doesn't hold up well to the abrasiveness of skateboard grip tape. I've had this thing for less than two weeks and the fabric where the grip tape of my skateboard rests is already looking quite worn in spots and will surely rip eventually. Not good. On the area where the board is supposed to rest, the designers at Dakine should have reinforced the fabric with something more durable and resistant to abrasiveness.

I got him the one with black stripes for Xmas, and he absolutely loved it. He skateboards, and we ride bikes so we are always needing extra space to carry our belongings. Our phones, our bike locks, and tools that way may need can all be carried securely in one of the many compartments. Dakine has great products. I'm currently looking for one that will fit me.
